Navi and Nero Only (SS-Rank Mission)

Nero then flew to the opposite direction of Navi, so he seperated the sights of the two heads. "One head each of us !" shouted Nero. Now there was a great distance between them. The head looking at Nero was making direct eye contact with him... It was kind of scary, especially for Nero, because as from Nero's point of view, Navi wasn't even a little scared at all... The head of the monster on Nero's side opened its giant mouth and "screamed" to Nero. It was the worst sound Nero ever heard from a living thing. "Poor creature..." Nero said silently, "Living with that ugliness... I will end it for both the villagers and itself...". Nero really hated the way the creature looked. He wanted to kill it as soon as possible...

Navi could only hope Nero was fighting his head/half of the creature, as Navi was completely focused on defeating the other side of the massive beast at his end. With an intense roar, the monster lunged at Navi again, gnashing its powerful teeth. Navi folded his angelic wings and flew downwards, dodging the attack and fire another flurry of fireballs at the creature's neck. The attack was a direct hit, and while the explosion was massive, it did little to damage the creature.

Lower level attacks were useless against this creature, and Navi sheathed his two swords as he realized that simple blades would have little effect. He would need to find a weak spot or attack it in some way. His Navagan was perfect for finding weak spots and locating vital areas, but unfortunately Navi did not have experience with sea monsters. Even with his Navagan it would take time to locate a possible weakpoint. After some time buzzing about the monster's head and locating a possible area worth attacking he had come to a unfortunate conclusion.

The monster had scales stronger then steel, and it would take a massive amount of force to break through them and cause external damage. The only conclusion Navi could reach was a risky move, but one he was sure Nero had already considered. He would need to use his ultimate fire jutsu, and time it just right for maximum damage to be inflicted.

Navi was fortunate to have Nero along for this mission, as with both heads after him it would be difficult to power up such a jutsu. Hopefully Nero would be able to hold out and distract/damage the monster enough for Navi to use the technique he had to.

Navi flew backwards, putting a large distance between him and the monster, dodging it's chomping teeth and rattlesnake-like lunge. There was a long distance between him Nero, so Navi could only pray that he heard him.

"NERO! I AM GOING TO USE THAT JUTSU!"

Nero would still need to distract the monster until the very last moment before getting out of the way, hopefully doing some level of damage before Navi delivered the final blow.

Navi started doing a series of hand signs, building up his fire chakra and feeling his energy grow warm inside of him. There would be no holding back like Navi did last time when he was simply destroying a house, with this move they would slay the beast.

The head of the moster on Nero's side took another slash in its neck... "I will finish this side of in some minutes..." thought Nero "Probably in less than half an hour, which sounds like quite a time, but I'm battling against a freaking giant sea monster."... He sent some more slashes towards its long neck. The sea monster dodged the slashes by lowering his head as he then once again aimed to eat Nero. "No !" Nero thought "I am not a meal for a monster, and I won't become one... Especially in front of Navi's eyes...". Nero flew away, to a height where he thought the monster wouldn't be able to reach, and he was right, after a while the head of the monster wasn't able to follow Nero up to the sky... Nero, trying to turn this advantage to a chance to finish the moster off, leaped down to the head of the monster once again, as he activated his Blessing Of The Wind God technique, which he was taught by Echo Uchiha of The Hidden Leaf, to increase his speed, strengthen his wind manipulation and give a momentum to his slashes that he threw to the head of the monster.

Nero, this time sent some really strong slashes towards the monster, and they were fast as hell, the monster was unable to dodge it. "That's it..." thought Nero, "I'll get it...". The slashes hit the monster and the monster got wounds that were a lot worse than before, as it screamed with its ugly voice once again. Nero then realised Navi shouting at him... "NERO! I AM GOING TO USE THAT JUTSU!" was what Nero heard Navi said... "That jutsu ?" thought Nero "Does he mean... That jutsu ? The one he had used during the S-Rank mission we have been to ? The one that blew up a house and all the trees in a certain range to the house ? Well, as I recall, it has a kind of long preparation time... I believe I remember the exact timing of the jutsu... I need to distract the monster until it's ready, and get out of the way before the giant fireball reaches me... I must trust in him... And he must be already trusting in me for doing this... O.K. I will not let him down...".

Nero, realising the situation, started distracting the monster by turning around all of its body with the amazing speed he now had thanks to the Blessing Of The Wind God. He continously sent multiple slashes towards the monster's body, as some of them hit and some of them didn't. The monster was attacking Nero with one of its head, and then another. He believed he was lucky the monster didn't attack him with both of its heads at the same time. Just when the time was coming, which Nero thought to be about the end of the preparation, Nero would fly directly towards Navi, making the heads follow him up to some point, so when fire came out from Navi's mouth, the monster wouldn't have time to dodge. Nero would change his direction to fly to Navi's left side, leaving the monster open to get hit, once he was sure Navi was releasing the fire from his mouth. Nero, when he thought the monster reached its limit in height would also shout "Now, Navi !"...

He had complete trust in Navi... "He wouldn't let me die..." thought Nero, as he started turning his plan into reality... As he planned, after turning around the monster for some seconds, he started flying up, headed to the point where Navi was. As he planned, the monster was following him too, with both of its heads. Nero, looking up at Navi, trying to figure out the time he will release the fire, was also trying to figure out how much more the monster could reach. Upon arriving to the height, which he thought to be the maximum height the mosnter could reach, as he thought the preparation was over, Nero got out of the dead zone between Navi and the monster, getting out of the reach of the jutsu, as he shouted to the ANBU-Ranked ninja "Now, Navi !". He closed his eyes, not wanting to see if the plan worked. The time would stop for Nero, as he waited something to happen... Those littleseconds were felt like minutes for Nero... "Did I fail ?" he thought "Was I too late ? Was I too slow ? Was that a dumb plan ?"...

Nero used an impressive level of speed supplemented by the Wind Style Echo must have taught him. With his incredible speed the monster was entirely distracted, and as Navi built up his chakra to release his powerful fire jutsu Nero headed straight forward. He was taking the monster along with him, and bringing the massive beast right to Navi. It was perfect teamwork, as Nero was lining up the perfect shot for him.

The creature let out a massive roar with it's mouth wide open. "Now, Navi !"
Then Navi let loose the fireball, a large meteor sized flame ball. It was large in size, but the real fear would be when it made impact with its target. The fireball sailed forth into the monster's open mouth as it roared, slamming into the back of the creature's throat.

Then came the deafening explosion.

In a blast that shook the earth and caused a tidal wave around them, a plume of flame erupted from the monster. The creature exploded with several monster body parts falling from the sky in a bloody mess. The wave of the blast send Navi careening through the air as he struggled to find his direction. After a few minutes Navi found himself disoriented on the coast of the beach, his ears ringing and his head pounding.

Nero was a member of the Yamaki and have most certainly used his Raven Style wings to absorb some of the blast kickback like he had. Along with his wind jutsu Nero had most certainly gotten out alright. Still, Navi felt worried after using such a powerful jutsu that his teammate could have gotten hurt in the crossfire. He needed to find Nero so they could get back home and report their success in killing the monster.

"NERO! ARE YOU OUT THERE?!?"

Nero opened his eyes once again to see Navi was sending the gaint flame ball. "I'm out of its way..." thought Nero, smiling as he realised he wasn't going to die... He saw the giant ball flying towards the head of the giant sea monster. "It's gonna blow..." thought Nero "...just like how the house was blown up by the fire ball... I must get the hell out of here...". Nero started flying away from the explosion that was going to take place, but he couldn't get far enough in time, and was effected by the explosion. The wind the explosion created blew Nero away, as Nero tried not being knocked out to the ground, he tried flying to the opposite direction, as he also blew out a strong stream of wind from his mouth, thanks to mastering the Blessing Of The Wind God Technique he has activated.

Nero still fell down to the ground, and lost the concentration on the technique that wasn't his kekkei genkai, causing the Blessing Of The Wind God tto be deactivated once again... He didn't want to lose concentration on the Raven Style too, since the monster could still be alive... Nero slowly started searching the area with his eyes, from the ground, seeing that the monster has been killed by the jutsu... "Well..." thought Nero "...I expected as much... Now, where is Navi ?". His eyes then started searching for his clan mate, as he realised Navi was only some meters away from him, and that he was searching for Nero. He heard the ANBU-Ranked ninja say "NERO! ARE YOU OUT THERE?!?" as he got up from the ground. "I'M OVER HERE !!!" shouted Nero, also walking ahead to Navi... "So," Nero said "I guess it's over... Should we head back to the village, or should we examine the monster, do we even need to confirm it's death ?"

"That jutsu..." thought Nero "I didn't even think of this freking over-powered jutsu when I reached the conclusion of I can never be able to beat him... He'd get me in some seconds if we fought each other... Damn... I need to get stronger... I need to get stronger to be able to become an ANBU member... I need to get stronger to be able to beat Navi... I need to get stronger to be able to impress Navi, Echo, and the Hokage, whom I still haven't met yet...". Nero didn't know whether he had to be happy or sad...

"An SS-Rank mission..." thought Nero "...done, just like that... I don't know if I could complete it if Navi wasn't here... Even if I did, I don't know how much time it would've took for me to do it... I need to get stronger...". He once again looked at Navi "So what are you going to do after this ? What are you going to do with team ? What are you going to do as an ANBU ?".

"I'M OVER HERE !!!" shouted Nero, also walking ahead to Navi... "So," Nero said "I guess it's over... Should we head back to the village, or should we examine the monster, do we even need to confirm it's death ?"

Navi breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Nero. Fortunately, he had not been caught in the crossfire of his nuclear blast like technique. When he said "do we need to confirm it's death?" Navi looked at him with a raised eyebrow for a few moments. "Um... no, look at all the body parts scattered across the sea, I think we got him."

"That jutsu..." thought Nero "I didn't even think of this freking over-powered jutsu when I reached the conclusion of I can never be able to beat him... He'd get me in some seconds if we fought each other... Damn... I need to get stronger... I need to get stronger to be able to become an ANBU member... I need to get stronger to be able to beat Navi... I need to get stronger to be able to impress Navi, Echo, and the Hokage, whom I still haven't met yet...". Nero didn't know whether he had to be happy or sad...

Navi took a few deep breaths and stretched a little bit. That sea monster was definitely one giant beast. He had put a small strain on himself having used so much chakra in the attack, so Navi took a few moments to settle himself. If needed, Navi had the incredible chakra level to perform the technique two more times before he would become exhausted.

"So what are you going to do after this ?

"Well, we're going to go get paid a lot of money, and then we're going to go home," Navi stated easily with a smile on his face. This mission would give him the biggest payday he had ever seen, and Navi wondered what he would do with the money.

What are you going to do with team ?

Navi looked up at the sky and shrugged before answering. "What are YOU going to do with a team? I hereby approve you as capable of being a squad leader of any leaf or sand Genin that you choose. Of course, I don't expect you to take on a team right away, you probably want to hit Jounin first. Still, congratulations Nero, you passed my test".

What are you going to do as an ANBU ?".

Navi's face turned deadpan and he took his gaze off the sky and back onto Nero. "Hm? I have no idea what you're talking about." Although Nero had been a family member privy to the information of Navi's affilitation with black ops, every operation and identity of the faction was highly classified. If he was ever questioned any member would pretend it didn't exist, as the black ops was an infamous branch of ninja whose every action and identity had to remain concealed.

"I'll see you back at the Leaf," Navi said with another smile. With that he performed a handsign and disappeared in a small puff of smoke, heading back to take care of urgent matters in Konoha.

Nero nodded at him after his words, and then he, as Navi did, used Body Flicker to reach the village in a shorter time... "I will see him again..." thought Nero "...and I'M going to be much, much stronger...".
