A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Ehlandreh jumped on the spot. In his right hand he had his weapons pouch, in his left, held much closer to his body was a mug of coffee. The cold weather of the early morning had caused the dew to freeze, creating a virtual rug of frozen grass, which stuck straight up into Ehlandreh’s equally cold, yet soft and meaty, Feet. Desperately trying to smash up the frozen spikes, Ehlandreh jumped around, doing his best to pull on the shoe for his left foot. His right foot had stooped having sharp, stinging pain, and had just begun to ache and throb. Ehlandreh was sure that he wasn't going to get his shoe on, whatever small amount of dew that had formed on the shoe had frozen solid, making it inflexible, and honestly, feeling quite brittle. But there was a good reason that Ehlandreh was here today, so early. It was a reason good enough that he was willing to go through such terrible pain, and doubtless would go through more before this day was done. Ehlandreh was here to attend a private training session of great significance. A Jonin had offered to teach him and another pupil, hitherto unknown, another Element. Ehlandreh was wary of Jonin, he had suffered much at the hands of his elders in the leaf village, all who had been Jonin. Admitadley, Ehlandreh would not have come if he felt that there was an unreasonable chance of him dying, so he assumed that the Jonin was going to be nice enough.
“Rggh…. Socoldcoldcold.” Ehlandreh shivered violently, to his surprise, the shivering action finally managed to slip the boot onto his foot. Working the ankle in a circular motion, Ehlandreh slowly slid on the boot. Putting down his damp foot, Ehlandreh lifted his other walking appendage and begun to work on putting the shoes on that one a well. “If he is going to request that we meet him here so early, why doesn't he show up earlier?” Ehlandreh’s criticism was almost completely unfounded however, Ehlandreh was in fact, nearly fifteen minutes early. Ehlandreh took a sip of his coffee, which he had put down on the ground as he had rotated the boot onto his foot, the grass around it thawing out. Ehlandreh took another sip, and looked around expectantly, finally managing to complete his attire. Ehlandreh took his weapon’s pouch, also on the ground and slipped it inside his coat jacket, the metal inside cold. Ehlandreh shivered again “Any minute now, surely”

Umeko looked at her reflection as she soaked in the warm waters of her bath. Her body was sore all over from yesterday's training session, but that didn't bother her so much. Closing her eyes, her tiny body slipped down into the water only her eyes were showing. She remembered turning down The Raikage's training offer and instantly a wave of regret hit her. She didn't know why she did it but something was off about that man that made Umeko feel sick. With all these thoughts in her head she almost nearly forgot about the training she was offered recently. Umeko found it funny how things worked out like that almost as if the world was trying to keep itself in some sort of balance. Quickly getting out of the warm bath Umeko dried off and began to dress herself. She wore her usual attire consisting of a form fitting sleeveless black top, black pants that seemed loose but held tight on her waist, and a pair of black shoes. It took her almost no time at all to dress herself and place her rather long hair into two buns atop her head. She knew at this time her uncle would be sleep so there would be no long drawn out speech about saving her energy and taking breaks and all that.
Grabbing her weapons pouch and Kumo headband she slipped out of the door quietly, but not before grabbing a few plums to eat on her way out. Her trip was short and she already had one plum polished off as she stepped onto the training field, a young fellow in her sights before she even got there. " I'm going to assume that you must be one of the few I will be training with. My name is Umeko Ametsuchi, nice to meet you. " Umeko's voice was it's usual tone, held no bass, no ill intentions, not a spark of aggressiveness, it was like a flute in the wind. She was innocent or as Innocent as one could be while training to be a killer. But most of all Umeko's voice held kindness, the kind of voice one wanted to hear, even to a stranger she was welcoming. Holding her hand out to the male the young Ametsuchi offered her plum, it was a simple gesture one should always be well fed before doing any kind of training.

He was late. Of course he was damnit! He was a Jounin, he was allowed to be late for student training sessions...That was how it went, right? Perhaps not. Akira was not in any rush whatsoever in any case and after having finished his breakfast, knew he had to report to the training grounds to give some students some training. All part of the job really, since for some reason not many genin seemed to be in a "team" with one specialized jounin these days. Seemed as if more flexible training methods were required. But hell, he was getting paid for it so who cares who he had to teach. He however did have one permanent student, who would not be helping him for this training session in particular.
The dark haired, piercing blue-eyed man grabbed his long blue coat from the back of the café chair. Seriously, what was the point of waking up early in the morning if you were going to cook breakfast. Akira was usually far too shitfaced and groggy to do the sort, especially after the intense training he'd gone through -- Mentally and physically.
An empty plate of a full breakfast named the "Shinobi Special" rested on the table as he went to go and pay for his food, well. More than just one plate. More like about seven. Akira's gargantuan chakra reserve came with an equally sizeable appetite. Especially after a training session. Not feeling bloated in the least after having paid for the grub he dashed off towards the training grounds to meet the students he'd be spending the day with for training purposes. Akira was going to do as he usually did - Unrelenting Effort. Akira was pretty strict as a sensei and sometimes downright abusive but that was the way he taught ninjas. Becoming a Shinobi wasn't easy, and those who couldn't hack his training obviously couldn't hack becoming a fully fledged ninja.
With a flicker the man disappeared from the café. His work here was done, he had pretty much abused the Shinobi Discount offers in this café once AGAIN. He was really proving himself to have the appetite of a dragon.
With a blinding flash of lightning, Akira Shinkou appeared before his two students, back facing them by the looks of it they had already gotten here first, his arms folded as he turned around to face the two, getting a look at who exactly he would be teaching today. One boy, one girl. Pretty equal on the whole gender spectrum. And his dojutsu easily allowed him to tell what chakra nature these two had along with how much chakra they had overall. "'Sup." He spoke in English (he obviously had to represent Killer Bee's way of talking) running his hand through his hair before actually speaking to them. "Sorry I'm late. I'm Akira Shinkou, Jounin round these parts and I'm gonna be teaching you today." He informed all while introducing himself.
"So, first thing's first I want you to introduce yourselves and also tell me what you plan on learning or gaining from today's training session. It'll allow me to adapt my routines to suit you better. Starting wiiiiiiith..." Akira's finger hovered undecidedly between both students. "You." He commanded, pointing at the girl.

Ehlandreh heard the patter of soft footsteps behind him, but resolved not to look around. It was probably a fox. " I'm going to assume that you must be one of the few I will be training with. My name is Umeko Ametsuchi, nice to meet you.” Ehlandreh spat out what small amount of coffee was in his mouth, nearly kneeling over and fainting with shock. "Man," he thought to himself as he regained his composure "All this coffee is really making me too jumpy for human conversation" Ehlandreh assessed the voice as he rose from his slouching position. To be honest, it was small and fragile sounding, not what you would expect out of someone whom was training for something that would grant her more opportunity’s to kill a person. Ehlandreh turned around, as soon as he straightened up, hoping that all she had seen of his little nervous feat was the quake in his stature. Smiling Ehlandreh turned around ready to introduce himself to the girl before him. “A plum” Ehandreh thought, and had little mental battle of grabbing the plum, or introducing himself to the girl. Resolving to grab the plum and then speak his name, Ehlandreh reached for the delicious fruit his fingers going to wrap around that juicy flesh. Suddenly, there was a flash of thunder and lightning, but for some reason Ehlandreh wasn’t nervous. He still jumped though, the plum falling from his grip before it was halfway to his mouth. Turning to the source of the intense stimulation Ehlandreh saw the man whom was to be their sensei. He had his back to him, the rising sun framing the front half of his body. He lifted a hand to his hair, and ran his hand through it, turning to see his two potential students. Ehlandreh briefly thought on how epic that may have appeared to someone who really cared about appearances. "'Sup.” Ehlandreh thought for a second on the slang, but was immediately brought back to the here and now by the rest of his introduction. "Sorry I'm late. I'm Akira Shinkou, Jounin round these parts and I'm gonna be teaching you today." “yes” thought Ehlandreh, “there aren't many other people you could be.” Ehlandreh looked at the man, with a face that was blank of emotion, assessing this new sensei’s appearance, and preparing himself to act however pleasant and normal he needed to be. "So, first thing's first I want you to introduce yourselves and also tell me what you plan on learning or gaining from today's training session. It'll allow me to adapt my routines to suit you better. Starting wiiiiiiith..." Akira pointed at the girl, whom Ehlandreh knew as Umeko "You.". Ehlandreh moved a little to his right, where he was closer to the sensei, so he could provide a good audience for his peer.

Completely ignoring the boy's obvious shock of her appearance or rather maybe her sudden introduction, Umeko smiled once the boy turned to face her. She had hoped that one introduction would call for another as he took the fruit from her hand but a sudden and obvious bang of lightning seem to play as an interruption of that. Umeko was not unfazed and found herself quickly scurrying behind the boy who had yet to say his name. This was a rather pathetic act as she was a ninja and more was expected of her, but she was also still a child. She could see that from the lighting a man came forth, and then he spoke. "Sup.Sorry I'm late. I'm Akira Shinkou, Jounin round these parts and I'm gonna be teaching you today. So, first thing's first I want you to introduce yourselves and also tell me what you plan on learning or gaining from today's training session. It was really quite an entrance and Umeko could tell that this would be an interesting if not entertaining training session. Watching as the boy moved from in front of her and closer to Akira, Umeko felt the spot light on her. It wasn't uncomfortable yet not welcoming either. In her voice that was as light as the beating of a butterflies wings yet as clear as summer's sky she introduced herself once more. " My name is Umeko Ametsuchi, I am ten years old. As far as training goes I am hoping to learn a few new jutsus maybe a new element if you can teach me Fuuton. Anything that a young one like me can soak up from her superior would be nothing but welcomed." She purposely left out the fact that she was sister to the previous Kage, mostly because she wanted to pave her own path forward. Unless those knew the last name well she wouldn't be outed for who she was but this was not likely, her family had a way of making themselves known to all. Her doe like brownish gold eyes sparkled with the eagerness of one wanting to learn while retaining a calm aura that was almost laughable given how she was scared during his arrival. Umeko was indeed excited about this training session, she would get to learn many new things if she played her cards right and maybe even make a new friend of the youngster who was to share this training experience. This would really make up for the horrible mistake in turning down the Raikage and his training session.

He loved appearing out of the blue like that. Akira was very much a man of spectacle, determined to make himself some sort of legendary warrior. And shock and awe was one of the easiest ways to do it. He also found it pretty funny how the little girl hid behind the other student, that was pretty cute. He figured she should probably be more reactive as a shinobi but she was only little, and he did arrive completely out of the blue.
He also found that the boy was about to eat a plum, which he let go. Akira swiped it out of the air pretty much instantly, his arm a blur before he handed it back to the boy who was originally going to ingest the delicious fruit. "Here." He grinned. He was excited to teach kids. He wanted to play a big part of the village's education and to make sure the village ninja grew up to achieve their maximum potential as shinobi. But this would come at the expense of hard work and dedication.
He lowered his finger as he heard out the little girl speak, she spoke very clearly and didn't hesitate. That showed a sign of confidence in a ninja, to be headstrong and never let up. It was a nice quality. "Wind huh? Luckily for you that is the nature I specialize in. Very well." before turning his attention to the boy standing beside her. He didn't know who either of them were but it was time to learn, and it was also time to gauge how exactly he would go about training these two young ones. "Alright, and you? What are you looking to gain from this experience?" He asked curiously. He had already figured out how he would teach Umeko, a quaint and very simple way to learn Wind Release, but a very frustrating method as it required a lot of trial and error. It'd not only be a test of her natural chakra abilities but also a test on determination. If she wasn't ready to stick with it she'd never progress.
Akira waited for the boy to answer, then he'd know how exactly he was supposed to train him.
Honestly Akira wasn't too experienced when it came to teaching students. Never really having a sensei of his own throughout his life and decided instead to become his own teacher. However he felt very strongly that no ninja should go without a sensei or some other figure to teach them how to become proper shinobi, and he took his job pretty seriously in that respect. He wasn't here to make friends or mess around he was here at these training grounds on this very day to teach jutsu.

Ehlandreh listened well to the surprisingly young shinobi, eating the plum which his sensei had caught for him. "Nice guy, Ehlandreh thought as he chomped down the purple fruit, he positioned his body so that he was leaning forwards, his face the foremost part of his body, so that he juices from the fruit would drip of unblemishingly unto the now thawing grass. " My name is Umeko Ametsuchi, I am ten years old. As far as training goes I am hoping to learn a few new jutsus maybe a new element if you can teach me Fuuton. Anything that a young one like me can soak up from her superior would be nothing but welcomed." The girl said, her voice suprisingly unwavering in the face of complete strangers. Also strange considering she was only ten years old. "Tough one..." Ehlandreh thought, thinking of his tenth birthday, a day of blood and tears, writhing around on the floor in a stat e of emotional breakdown. The girl could seem no further removed from such a calamity. As she concluded her talk, Ehlandreh turned to his new sensei. He knew what was coming, now it was his turn to face the music, so to speak. "Wind huh? Luckily for you that is the nature I specialize in. Very well." And, inevitably, the Jounin turned to look at Ehlandreh "Alright, and you? What are you looking to gain from this experience?" Ehlandreh considered feigning ignorance, but something told him that this man already knew he was a ninja. He stepped into back of few paces, so that he could look at teacher and student in the same vision, rather than having to turn his head. "My name is Ehlandreh. I am 12 years of age, and from you I wish to learn the Raiton element. I want to be able to control lightning." Ehlandreh gestured in the general direction of his fellow student "But I would be more than happy to learn anything else you would deign to teach US" Ehlandreh put particular emphasis on "US" he wanted it known that he believed that he could do anything that his classmates could, also he would rather kill himself than miss out on an opportunity. He stepped to the left this time, coming closer to his classmate Umeko, then turned to face his teacher, eager to hear whatever he had to say.

Angel had been away a long time. It seemed a whole generation of students had come from the academy and risen through the ranks in the time she had been away. Even the Jounin seemed to be new faces to her. She wondered how long she had actually been away. She had yet to meet up with her sensei and debreif him. Pretty much she had been training away in a distant land / dimension that the flow of time was different. it was complicated and even she didn't quite understand tyhe whole thing. The main thing was she was back.
On her way to the village she past through the training grounds. Naturally masking her presence as she moved through the earth. Above her she recognized the stances and statures of two younger seemingly students and a new comer that entered the grounds in a flash of lightning. Her heart almost skipped a beat thinking that the new comer might be her sensei but she realized it wasn't him. However the Teacher's movement intrigued her so she silently surfaced in his shadow listening to the student's speak as she did.

Angel smiled. She had thought of a delious plan and hoped that the tutor whoever he turned out to be might play along with her. that is if he caught on at all. It was likely that none of them noticed her approach as she was a master of concealing her movements.
Angel stepped out from behind the Teacher who had previously introduced himself as Akira. She didn't recognize the name or the man but she was sure she would soon be updated. as for now she would be a student and try to see this man's teaching skills. As she stepped out of the blind spot she allowed a sliver of chakra to escape from her suppression so that she seemed like that of genin ninja student.
"Hi." Angel would pause for a moment and then continue. "I hope you don't mind. I saw you guys over here and I was hoping I could train with you guys as well. My name is Angel and I would like to learn some new jutsu too.” Angel though A jounin and an accomplished ninja was still only 13. Her gear consisted of a couple weapon pouches with all her equipment inside as well as some clothes she used for traveling. Anyone curious to glance under the hem of her cloak would see her feet which she kept bare even in the cold cold tempratures of the Kumo mountains.

This was good, this was the first of many steps to achieving goals that would not only strengthen her but give her a new thing to do, teach. Now once Umeko heard that the boy named Ehlandreh wanted to learn Raiton from her she instantly raised an eyebrow. How in the world could she have known that she wielded the awesome power of lighting. Was he a mind reader? did he have some sort of Kekkei Genkai that allowed him to tell what element she used? Her mind played and puzzle with the thought of another having a similer Kekkei Genkai as she. It was amusing actually as chibi people played in her mind, coming to a stalmate from having the same ability. For a moment she was lost in her own mind and thought about asking Ehlandreh how he knew about her elemental chakra without even seeing her use it. But before she could even pull herself from her own thoughts another voice not of the same tone nor pitch as the rest did what she could not.
Quickly she snapped her head towards the voice as he day dreaming ended and reality set in. Her excitement set in fairly quickly as she remembered all the cool things she would learn today but first...Who was that. The voice belonged to a female and out of nowhere she appeared. Umeko tilted her head ever so slightly to take in the newcomer, she didn't like the intrusion but she accepted it. As of now she listened, the cool wind picking up around them twirling her Auburn locks around her face. It seemed the newcomer wanted to learn too, in Umeko's honest opinion she didn't want the attention pulled away from her own learning, but who knows maybe she could learn something from the female. Umeko could remember her uncle telling her " A closed mind will stay closed too all and learn nothing or something along those lines. Yea her Uncle was a great motivational speaker she wondered why he didn't do that instead of cooking, but then again where would she get all the great food she ate. Umeko decided that him being a chef was better she could taste the yummy dinner now. Now that there were four instead of three on this training feild on this beautiful morning she wondered just what the man named Akira would do. How would he fit her in, if he choose to do so at all. Umeko decided just to watch this play out instead of speaking to the girl just yet. When she felt the need Umeko would introduce herself once more unless someone else did it.

"Lightning is also something I can teach." Akira noted, he was pretty much fluent in both these elements. Obviously having learned both at the tender age of 13 previously. The year he had become an Iwagakure Jounin. But that was far back and this was the present, and today he served the Sky Blue of Kumogakure and he was proud to. He figured he was going to use the same technique for both these students. He was going to give each of them a ribbon, and with that ribbon they would have to conjure up Wind and Lightning chakra respectively, once the chakra manages to slice the ribbon, they'd know that they got the principle of the elements that they were using. A very old technique but the right way to do it or so he figured.
He was about to hand out the ribbons until he noticed a third face, he had sworn that he was supposed to teach only two students in this training session and overall hadn't planned to deal with 3. 3 was quite a crowd and was pretty much the same amount of students that a Jounin should be teaching, most of them teaching 3 people. Seems as if it was his chance to learn how to coach more than 2 students at a time, it'd be very different but he couldn't see it as being that much more complicated really.
"Uh. I don't remember teaching 3 students but, I can't fault you if you're eager to learn." Akira shrugged. He didn't find the 3rd face threatening or welcoming in any way, it'd be extra work but he hoped that this turn of events would make him a better teacher as a result. And it also seemed as if this Angel Aburame wanted to learn some new techniques as well, interesting.
Akira sighed and performed a bunch of handseals and with another crash of lightning, formed a Lightning Clone, this clone would help him manage teaching students who had their eyes on completely different goals. One of them paying attention to Ehlandreh and the other to Umeko and Angel. It was perhaps a bit more complicated this way but it was better than having each person wait their turn.
"Okay. So, I'm going to give all 3 of you a ribbon." He announced, the real Akira pulling 3 cyan ribbons from his trench coat pocket, handing them out to the 3 students.
He looked at Ehlandreh. "Basically, to learn wind release you need to shape your chakra into a fine blade by compressing it. Imagine your chakra not as an energy but more as a solid cutting force and condense it into a sort of blade. As such." Akira held out his hand and channeled his normal chakra, his hand glowing a deep shade of blue as a result. "And then you compress." He added, and with that instead of his hand covering in a sort of aura, it straightened out, into an invisible blade of distorted air.
"And that invisible blade of air is what's gonna give you your wind chakra. It sounds like a tough explanation but just keep at it."
The clone meanwhile, focused on Umeko. "So, for lightning you basically need to picture your chakra as not an aura as more wild and erratic because that's how lightning acts. That's what it do." He chuckled. "So instead of compressing from the get-go your chakra like you would for wind, pump as much chakra, shape your chakra into individual branches randomly much akin to real lightning, and then compress, and branch out."
He instructed, he was finding this tough as teaching elements was probably the hardest part of being a Jounin simply because it was tough how to explain how to do them.
