A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Sun Dec 28, 2014 1:51 am
Ehlandreh jumped back at the sound of the new voice, "Hi."  A pause  "I hope you don't mind.  I saw you guys over here and I was hoping I could train with you guys as well.  My name is Angel and I would like to learn some new jutsu too.” Ehlandreh looked at the girl, “angel” sounds like a woman who works in a house of low repute” thought Ehlandreh briefly, but quickly dispelled the thought, she didn’t look much older than he did. Ehlandreh has a little giggle on the inside of himself as he watched the girl “Umeko” and her reaction to the newcomer. The lady didn’t look very old, and was probably only around Ehlandreh’s age.  He acknowledged her with a little bow, and turned back to his sensei, curious as to how he would react to the newcomer.  The jounin looked at her somewhat curiously, the kind of look you gave a egg when it turned out to have two yolks, or in this case three. Ehlandreh noted that in his hand were two pieces of paper. He then turned to address the newcomer "Uh. I don't remember teaching 3 students but, I can't fault you if you're eager to learn." He shrugged as he said this, looking at her face. He turned away looking back to Umeko and Ehlandreh sighing to himself and used a few hand seals. Ehlandreh stepped back at the sudden performance of jutsu, taking a quick look at his peers to see their reactions. Fortunatley for Ehlandreh he had looked away, and the jutsu that he had performed resulted in a crackle of lightning, and Ehlandreh looked back quickly to see the jutsu. A perfect image of The jounin stood there, smiling at Ehlandreh. Somewhat taken aback at the appearance, Ehlandreh looked at his sensei quickly, a little nervous about being taught by a what appeared to be a clone. “Silence your misgivings aren’t you curious?” Ehlandreh said to himself, and let his face go completley neutral again, and looked at the clone with apprehension. "Okay. So, I'm going to give all 3 of you a ribbon." What Ehlandreh took as the real Akira said, pulling out three trange ribbons from his coat. They were an odd blue color, and handed them to his two peers, and one to Ehlandreh. The real Akira flicked his attention back to Ehlandreh

"Basically, to learn wind release you need to shape your chakra into a fine blade by compressing it. Imagine your chakra not as an energy but more as a solid cutting force and condense it into a sort of blade. As such." Ehlandreh’s sensei held out his his hand, and it starting glowing a blue color “And then you compress." He added, his hand suddenly taking on a look that could only be described as windy. “Oh dear” thought Ehlandreh “Akira Sensei must have made a mistake” Instead of listening to what he already knew, Ehlandreh immediately started paying more attention to the clone, whom was addressing Umeko about Raiton jutsu.

"And that invisible blade of air is what's gonna give you your wind chakra. It sounds like a tough explanation but just keep at it." Ehlandreh held out his hand and channeled his chakra into a Jutsu he had learned a while back, saying quickly to his sensei “you made a mistake sensei, we need to swap tutors, let me take the clone, and you can teach Umeko what you have just taught me” To illustrate his point Ehlandreh created a Rasengan in his hand, the floating ball that was the product of a study of Futon, an irrefutable testimony to his claim. Ehlandreh nodded his head apologetically, and moved towards Umeko, Quickly telling her what she already knew “Umm, Sensei has got it wrong, you’re learning the Futon, right? Let’s swap teachers okay?”  Ehlandreh stepped backwards, so that Umeko could get a clear pathway to the real Akira. Ehlandreh had caught most of what had been said to Umeko "So, for lightning you basically need to picture your chakra as not an aura as more wild and erratic because that's how lightning acts. That's what it do. So instead of compressing from the get-go your chakra like you would for wind, pump as much chakra, shape your chakra into individual branches randomly much akin to real lightning, and then compress, and branch out." Ehlandreh nodded, his mind already forgetting the awkwardness, as far as he was concerned the little incident had never happened. Ehlandreh barley noticed “angel” as he was suddenly sucked into the concepts of learning the Raiton jutsu.

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Mon Dec 29, 2014 4:42 pm
Her Entrance seemed to go unspoiled.  They each reacted in a way that seemed like they were unaware of her small deception.  Good it was better that way this way she could candidly evaluate both the students and the teacher.  Though, she had to remember to use appropriate facial cues to her emotions.  The other two kids seemed to be eyeing her.  Akira made a few hand seals which Angel recognized for the most part.  He was conduction some sort of clone jutsu.  The crackle as the clone was created made her think the clone might have some lightning alignment.  All this was simple guessing using what she saw.  She couldn’t risk trying to use a jutsu to figure it out, so she decided it didn’t much matter.  Akira began by withdrawing a few chakra ribbons.  Elemental manipulation then.

Starting right into Elemental manipulation seemed quite intense however it was a skill that would vastly increase the students power and be able to get them into a position to learn more potentially powerful jutsu.  Angel had mastered her elements in a short amount of time even unlocking a secret combination of elements that few people ever unlocked of a similar nature.

Angel knew this would be a good lesson for her.  She already knew how to manipulate her chakra into elemental forms but she never tried it while suppressing her chakra.  It would be another test of Chakra manipulation.  She had been chosen to learn lightning manipulation.  This was good because she knew she would not be able to do the exercise and therefore would seem more useless than the shy demeanor she was using made her out to be.  Taking the light blue ribbon from Akira, Angel listened carefully to the instruction that both the real and the clone were giving.  He knew what he was talking about as both explanations were the quickest way to visualize and produce the element in this exercise.  She struggled for a moment with the lightning manipulation before looking dejected and upset.  She was curious how Akira would deal with a student who was unable to learn something quickly if at all.

“Sensei?  I can’t seem to get it to work.  I am doing exactly what you said.”

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Mon Dec 29, 2014 6:30 pm
So regardless of not being prepared for another student the teacher took her in anyway. Not that this surprised Umeko any at all, as most teachers would do that for a student of the village. Well getting back to business Umeko watched on and accepted a ribbon she was given. The ribbon was an interesting color and she found herself playing with it, making light ripples as she flicked her wrist making it dance a bit. Her attention was snapped back to the teacher as another dazziling feat happened before her eyes. The man made another clone of himself, Umeko looked on in awe. He spilt them up into groups and Umeko found herself listening to the clone on something she already knew how to do. Ehlandreh must have caught on to this mistake and she found herself switching positions with the boy.

Now with ribbon in hand she was ready to learn. Picking up everything about what she needed to learn, she confirmed it by relaying the little teachings. basically, to learn wind release you need to shape your chakra into a fine blade by compressing it. Imagine your chakra not as an energy but more as a solid cutting force and condense it into a sort of blade." She didn't catch the little demonstration and looked at the ribbon expecting it to do something, anything. But no, it lay limp in her hand only moving in tune with the natural wind around them. This should be easy for her, she knew the lightning element for goodness's sake and that sounded much harder to do. With her first attempt she pushed the chakra forward onto the ribbon her attempt to compress was impressive as it slowly got thinner, sharper....and then boom out of control it began to take the form of lightning. Well you know what they say, " Rome wasn't built in a day. " It seemed Umeko wasn't the only one having problems as she heard the newcomer speak of help. Umeko didn't take her eyes off the ribbon and decided one try wasn't enough to go running for help. I can do this.. I just need to try a few more times to get a better feel of it is all...You can go help that other girl. "It almost sounded like she was annoyed as she said the girl part of that sentence. But really Umeko was annoyed that she failed on her first attempt.

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Akira was confident he was doing a good job until he realized that he had made a massive mistake and that he got the teachers and students missed up. D'oh! Ah well, just went to show him that perhaps he needed a lot more sleep at night. Mistakes happen in any case. His cheeks flushed a shade of pink in embarassment. What a massive idiot. Get it together Akira-Sensei.

There was nothing he could really do at this point apart from watch them and monitor their progress. Well, he wasn't gonna train himself as he was here to train these kids. But they seemed to be doing alright he supposed, learning something like an element wasn't easy cause it required shaping your chakra into a completely different form altogether and that could take quite a lot of practice. Fortunately these kids were dealing with a man who could use both of his jutsu elements rather efficiently and was aiming to learn the Water element in the distant future. But for now he was fine with what he had and he would focus on making sure that the students under his tutelage today managed to learn their respective desired elements by the end of the day. A noble goal but one which could be easier said than done to achieve depending on how hard they worked and how naturally talented they were.

He checked upon Ehlandreh, but he seemed as if he was doing alright and didn't require too much assistance at the moment. Neither did Umeko as she seemed to be determined to learn it by herself. She had a familiar sense of motivation, almost as if she had some large expectation to live up to or something. Well, she was part of the Ametsuchi clan, although Akira didn't know this. Only knowing that her drive was familiar to him in some way.

Angel actually seemed to require help. And that was where it was complex, explaining how exactly you were supposed to learn chakra. "All right well, perhaps you might want to focus on gathering your chakra first before you actually attempt the jutsu, so if you put your index and middle finger together with your palms flat against eachother like this, and channel your chakra, you'll warm up and you should find it easier to channel your chakra afterwards. As for how to actually summon the Lightning Chakra, you just have to do as I said and picture it as wild, destructive strikes of lightning. Never strikes in the same place twice. Just try to channel a good amount of chakra into your hands, not all of it - but a good amount." He explained, hoping he'd managed to clarify the situation.

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Tue Dec 30, 2014 1:08 am
Ehlandreh approached practically trying to learn the Raiton element the same way he approached all real life attempts of something that he had learnt about. Evaluation of the concepts, critiscing assumptions, but most of all, care. Ehlandreh held the piece of paper in his hands, and with great care. Channeled his chakra into it. Ehlandreh had decided to improvise a little bit. He was going from Futon, Ehlandreh molding the chakra into the card, to Raiton, and he started trying to make his Futon Chakra take on the elements of the Raiton chakra. Branching out, somewhat random, in itself, lightning. At least that would be its appearance if he got it right. What appeared in Ehlandreh hand was a glowing mass of blue chakra, occasionally shifting itself. It was pretty cool looking, but was no doubt completely impracticable. Ehlandreh repeated the process several times, trying to get it down, but to no avail. The Chakra remained stubbornly unlightningish. Ehlandreh decieded to try something different. He accessed a whole new palate of chakra, in essence, pure simple, Chakra. It worked, the card in Ehlandreh’s hand turned blue and then… “Sparxjkjahjhssada” The sound of lightning. He had learnt a new element. Looking to his classmates, Ehlandreh  saw that they were having perhaps a bit more difficulty, you never knew until you take a closer look.

Ehlandreh thought that he might show off his achievement to his Sensie, as he was walking over to him, he caught a snippet of conversation from him “ "All right well, perhaps you might want to focus on gathering your chakra first before you actually attempt the jutsu, so if you put your index and middle finger together with your palms flat against eachother like this, and channel your chakra, you'll warm up and you should find it easier to channel your chakra afterwards. Just try to channel a good amount of chakra into your hands, not all of it - but a good amount.” It was good advice, HElandreh reasoned, he hadn’t really needed it, but it made sense. Ehlandreh tapped his Sensei on the shoulder, presenting his right hand, the card with the Raiton element clearly visible. “I have done it, Akira Sensei

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

As Angel was feigning ignorance the other girl made a snide remark.  Angel didn’t need any help.  She could have sat this one out and just simply watched the kids do their simple exercises but she had been there to help, sorta.  She wanted to make them feel like they were doing a good job by setting the bar a little lower.  But they seemed to be doing just fine on their own.  Especially the boy.  Angel had noticed the technique he had use earlier.  The spiraling energy that he had created in his palm was emense and that kind of power would definitely be beneficial.  “Sensei, I can’t seem to do the Lightning element.  But could you or Ehlandreh teach me that thing he did with his hand.”  Angel had understood the concept of the jutsu.  Swirling chakra at fast speeds like that would break her concentration on maintaining her chakra suppression.  While thinking about the jutsu she did an exercise that allowed her to practice her chakra control.  It was a process of moving chakra around the body in a steady rhythm almost like a tai chi routine but internally.  This allowed her to make her chakra a very visual thing in her head and it allowed her to better control and suppress the chakra.  However she knew if she wanted to master this jutsu here she would have to reveal her deception.

Angel wasn’t sure how the others would take it though she was sure if she complimented Akira on his teaching skills it would turn out alright.  She didn’t really want to waste their time more than she had already.  Maybe telling them would set their minds at ease though it may disrupt the training.

As angel was thinking she continued to flow chakra into the ribbon and back out taking care not to damage the ribbon so she could continue to observe the others.  Ehlandreh seemed to be coming along nicely with little input from Akira.  A couple moments later he successfully completed the exercise.  The Girl seemed to want to keep practicing on her own without input either.  Akira seemed to be having an easy time with the others.  After telling her that she needed to focus more on the randomness of lightning and to split the currents in a fashion as to strike out randomly, Akira continued to observe the progress of his students.  He had the information and the desire to teach it seemed.  Angel was content with his teaching methods.  Hopefully between the two of them, the boy and his teacher,  Angel would be able to pick up a new technique.

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Akira observed the student's progress. They seemed to all learn pretty quickly. Well then again that probably came from Kumogakure's Ninja Academy, the staff there seemed to be pretty dedicated to get the new students up to their maximum potential and quickly. So it wasn't uncommon to find such young children such as Umeko, to already have been given a Genin headband. Akira was much the same in his youth, often seen as gifted by his superiors. Which allowed him to fly through the ranks pretty quickly. But here he was today using all the knowledge he gained growing up and applying it into teaching the newer generation of ninja that would rise from the foundations of this very nation.

As he was preparing to lecture Angel, Ehlandreh presented him with a card that very much had the marks of Raiton embedded onto them. Seemed as if he had learned it rather quickly. "Good work." He praised simply, but as Ehlandreh actually understood how to perform it - there were still students who could not, so he decided to turn his attention to helping them. "I'd ask him but I'd say he formed Raiton using the base of another element. But you just gotta keep at it, make sure your chakra is channeled wildly, but with precision. You have to remember the nature of a lightning strike or else you won't succeed with it. If you want to attempt it the same way he did I'd suggest starting off with an element you know, compressing it and branching it out into different bolts. But that might be tough if you're an Earth user. So you'd probably just be better off starting from scratch since Raiton and Doton are completely different in consistency. Doton is completely solid whereas Raiton is not." He explained, hoping to further educate Angel to a point that she'd know what she had to do. And it was pretty much just keep trying.

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Umeko removed everything from her mind except what she was told, removed the distractions, the voices, the area around her. She placed her mind in a mode of total and complete concentration like no other. She let the chakra flow naturally into the ribbon watching it glow along the material. It was pretty to her, the color of chakra she'd had known nothing quite like it. Chakra took on many forms it was predictable yet quite unpredictable. For a moment she slowly shaped the chakra watching it thin out before letting it flow again. Her breathing slowed as she imaged the chakra take on the form she wanted it to, a blade. Slowly but surely she began to compress the chakra watching as it slowly as it took the form, trickling from it's free form. A few times the chakra took a shape of it's own as it seemed to crackle back into the lighting chakra she controlled. Umeko frowned as she time after time got it under her control. Learning a new element and in such a short time was suppose to be impossible, but as Umeko tried she looked from the corner of her eye and saw the boy had done what she could not. Stopping the flow of chakra she was shocked and for once infuriated that she couldn't do it first and ontop of that she was taking longer. What was this blasphemy she was a Ametsuchi, elements were her thing she shouldn't have been taking as long as she was with this minuscule task. Umeko wasn't about to let herself be the last to learn this element and closing her eyes she wasted no time in controlling her chakra. Taking the ribbon she pushed her chakra into it and compressed it like it was nothing, like she had been doing it all her life, like she was bullshitting her failed attempts. And like that it happened, she made the wind element her bitch like a pro, like a Ametsuchi.

Ehlandreh had learned what he had wished, and thanked his teacher profusely, said goodbye to Umeko, angel and his good sensei Akira. For he now had to leave the training ground. "Sorry guy's, I have to go right now, I know it is soon, but I am really starving, I just got new coffee beans, an if I don't treat them, the bugs will get at them." Ehlandreh then would body flicker into the distance.

A perfect match (Umeko, Akira) - Page 2 Empty Re: A perfect match (Umeko, Akira)

Thu Jan 08, 2015 9:44 pm
Angel sat and listen to the words that her teacher was telling her.  They seemed to miss a key point.  He dacned a round it but he missed it.

Doton is completely solid whereas Raiton is not."

The advice kept coming back to “Just try harder.”  When Angel met the young teacher he asked what each of them had wanted to learn.  Angel said she wanted to learn jutsu.  She wasn't giving away the information that she was well along her way in chakra training.  She was away that her chakra was not aligned with the lightning element as her first element had indeed been Earth like Akira had said.  What angel did want to do was learn the jutsu that the other guy had performed earlier.  The power level of the jutsu had been enormous.  Angle focused on pouring more and more chakra into her hand and beginning to rotate it the way she had seen.  She focused the manipulation losing the power and the orb spun out.  She wasn't able to keep a handle on both the jutsu and her chakra supression.  Angel ground her teeth and allowed the chakra to form again.  Pulling the rotational energy in tighter Angel let her handle on her chakra slip away as she puored more power into the technique.

Lightning was all fine and dandy but when it came down to it Angel already was proficient enough and far enough along in her other elements.  The ribbon tossed and turned as Angel kept it spinning in the center of the rapid torrent of chakra.  The ribbon would begin to tear and rip to shreds in the presence of her powerful chakra.  The spike in chakra might surprise Akira and the other students as well as angel mastering such an advance technique.  The orb in her hand spun with strands of blue cutting through the dense white of the visible chakra.  Angel had done it.  The technique was pretty easy to grasp once she watched someone else do it.  It helped that her experience with jutsu and chakra manipulation was quite high.  She imagined it wouldn't be hard to add an elemental combination to it to give it an increase in power.  She realized she needed to explain herself to akira before he took this as an attack.   “Sorry to Deceive you guys.  I'm Angel Aburame, Kumo Jounin and close friend to the raikage.  I thought I'd play around with you guys.  Akira you're doing a really good job teaching.  Just try to see that the students may be just physically incapable of using a specific element and that encouraging them to keep trying could be discourageing in the end when they fail.  Both of you guys are doing good keep up your traing.  Then a jutsu like this one would be pretty easy for you.”  With that angel stepped over to a tree and placed her hand against it releasing the jutsu into the tree.  The tree itself would wrench and twist before exploding to slinters.  The feeling was gratifying but suddenly something wrenched her head toward the village.  Something wasn't right.  “Akira Keep them safe.  Seems we have company.”  Angel would then be off in a blur.  It seemed odd to angel that the village was so peacfull and yet she was getting these terrible readings on someone in the village.  Was it finally time?  Had they arrived?  Angel didn't know but she had to help out.  And if she was right these were the men who were targeting Kumo.  She didn't know but this might be the day that she finally collected the last piece she would need in her pursuit of her father.
