Reasoning for thinking clone can pull it off though: Clone would have traveled 12 meters at a speed of 50 during the course of Kozai's Body Flicker if he had kept moving, so him receiving a mental command and following it at 240 speed during that time frame didn't seem to far fetched.)

Apparently Kozai was using Hoho while Den’s wood clone was performing the second hand seal for his jutsu, so the clone simply didn’t use swamp of the underworld as its sharingan eyes allowed it to see that Kozai’s jump/step was going to take him out of the range of the technique before he would be able to activate it and seeing as he hadn’t finished the seal, he hadn’t cast the jutsu yet. So instead when Kozai jumped the clone would bite the inside of his cheek as he made a seal of confrontation rather than finish the second seal, a bit of blood coming out of the wound inside his mouth before it disappeared, the blood gone and the wound healed. The blood had been used a sacrifice to summon one of Den’s D rank snakes onto the clones sleeve, the snake appearing into existence wrapped around his arm.

Realizing ‘Den’ had summoned her onto his sleeve rather than in front of him as soon as she appeared, Natsumi assumed he wanted some Nature energy so immediately began gathering it. The summoning would be completed after Kozai had moved 3 meters because the clone really had just had to move his hand to do it.

While doing this the clone was of course still helping to deal with Kozai, his sharingan eyes would continue to watch Kozai throughout his use of the Hoho technique. Through their telepathic link Den’s clone told the original that the target was heading right towards him, as Kozai was heading in that direction at a very quick pace. Had he managed to detect the clone while he was body flickering and deduced that the original was that way, or did he somehow possess a chakra sensory with a range exceeding Den’s?

Den would use the little nature energy he and Kokou had gathered while the wood clones had been forming/moving to enter Sage mode at this point, which would be before Kozai had managed to travel the 5 meters from his original point that would put the two of them within each other’s sensory range. Den’s eyes would become serpentine and his skin would become pale, not to mention all of his physical abilities were greatly enhanced. Den immediately stood up at 210 speed after activating Sage Mode.

Den would mentally instruct his first clone to take a step to the left, which because it hadn’t moved much to the sides during its travel towards Kozai, put the clone directly between Kozai and Den. Den only knew this info thanks to his second clone that was still looking at Kozai. Clone 1 had been moving at 50 speed up till this point so hadn’t yet reached his destination, meaning he was able to accelerate momentarily to make the movement at 110 speed. Clone 1 was 15 meters in front of Den after putting himself between Kozai and Den, he’d stop at this point as well.

Silently Clone 1 would also pull out its sword and hold it with the blade facing towards Kozai sfter making the movement, who had traveled a few more meters by this point but had yet to Body Flicker. Den was hoping perhaps his clone could ambush the target and activate Power of the white Dragon once he got close, but that may or may not happen.

If Kozai still Body Flickered
If Kozai still used the Body Flicker technique Den would be able to sense his movement thanks to Sage Mode. Realizing after Kozai traveled 5 meters at his new speed that he was still going straight towards Den, he immediately gave a mental command for Clone 1 to activate Power of the White Dragon. The transformation would occur at 240 speed. Due to the clones slow reaction time Kozai would have managed to travel a great distance by the time it registered Den’s words and started transforming, but Kozai had been 74 meters away when the clone had been given the command so it still had been given more than enough time to finish the transformation as the clone was reacting to Den’s thoughts at 240 speed. Kozai would be 10 meters from the clone when it finished transforming.

Even with the boosted speed and reaction time Kozai was still moving too fast for Clone 1, or he was until he broke through the foliage 7 meters directly in front of it allowing the clone’s sharingan eyes to track him.

The clone held his sword with both hands, but let go with his right and point his palm towards Kozai, letting loose a corrosive chakra. The cone of Corrosive Mist would move past the clone’s sword before Kozai reached it. The clone hadn’t been intentionally doing it, but the swords point would be pointed directly at where Kozai’s forehead would end up if he did continue with the body flicker, and had been positioned that way since the clone had first moved in front of Den.

If Kozai continued with the body flicker and the clone managed to transform in time the Missing ninja would end up skewering himself on the clone’s sword due to the mechanics of body flicker, and due to where the sword impaled him in the skull he would die unless he had a jutsu that could heal damage to the brain. The body of the guy would then slam into the clone and probably disperse it.

If Den’s clone for some reason didn’t transform in time despite the great distance Kozai had to travel Den would make 3 wooden shuriken of normal dimensions in his left hand after Kozai ran through Den’s clone, though they formed at 85 speed they all formed at once and were small so Kozai only traveled a meter and a half in the time it took them to form. The shuriken obviously didn’t have some low af health stat as that’s something dumb to vague, but if that’s legit then Kozai obviously only boosted his health by 20 with White Walker, as that makes about as much sense and is about as important of a detail.

The 3 shuriken would be thrown at max speed towards the charging opponent who was directly in front of Den, one aimed directly at his head through the foliage, the others at his chest. The shuriken would be thrown once Kozai was 13 meter from Den.

Den would move to his left if Kozai got within 12 meters of him, immediately moving at 105 speed as he was getting the idea that his opponents point b was directly in front of him, and just in case the guys body kept going Den didn't want to get hit by it. Den would move between trees as he traveled, his chakra senses focused on his target if he was still alive. He would stop after traveling 30 meters if Kozai hadn’t given him a reason to change his movement. Den would have moved 4 meters from his original spot by the time Kozai exited his body flicker.

If Kozai didn’t Body Flicker
None of the stuff written in ‘if Kozai still Body flickered’ would happen because Den and co would be reacting to something else.

Ryuk had no chance to asnwer Kozais question before the man bolted rather quickly leaving him there alone for the time being. He looked around and searched with his chakra sensory and found a few things out of place but there was nothing that he could do to even attempt to help Kozai in this situation. So he did the only thing he knew how to do at this point move to a safer location. Moving at a slow rate due to his lack of training he moved backwards towards the woods the oppisite side of where the clone would appear and began to climb a tree.

Kozai's Coriolis registered clone movement. Damn, this guy was good! What was with these transformations and massive amount of chakra? Something was very, very wrong here.
Kozai's body flicker would cause him to collide with and disperse the clone between him and Den (the clone that was about to cast corrosive mist). Naturally, Kozai would continue through, Kozai's current stats being boosted as far as they could (+70 each to health and speed) with White Walker. Due to his massive speed in comparison to the clone, he would have reached the clone before it could have even raised its arm to cast the corrosive mist techinque (Den having not stated the speed of the clone's arm, it wouldn’t be something stupidly slow, but not fast enough to affect Kozai in any way). The corrosive mist not being cast meant that Kozai would not be inhibited at all throughout his travel.

It is also of note that Den's clone's speed of pulling out his sword (this not being specified either) would also NOT be 1, but still not be fast enough to affect Kozai at all, so Kozai wouldn't even have to worry about impaling himself like a total retard on the blade. Who does that, anyways? Surely, not he. The sword (the timelining also not really being particularly detailed) would be done after the clone's movement to intercept Kozai was fully and absolutely complete (this being due to "Silently Clone 1 would also pull out its sword and hold it with the blade facing towards Kozai after making the movement"). At any rate, there he was, on his way toward Den, without much of a care... other than the fact that the monstrous chakra in front of him had changed. In addition, with his Coriolis, he could sense that the man was far stronger than his clones. What kind of technique was this? It was certainly enhancing this man far more than Kozai's on White Walker. What in the hell...? He felt a little outmatched.

Anyways, the shuriken would not even have a chance at reaching Kozai (Den, strangely, not stating in what manner he threw the shuriken: backhand, overhand, mere wrist flick, or whatever. So, it would be an overhand throw, with the wind-up being at a not-stupid speed, but a speed that would allow Kozai to reach Den before the shuriken actually started moving toward Kozai at all; indeed, while Den was still winding up his throw. Sure, he could be moving his arm at max speed by the time he actually finished through with the throw, but initially, we could just say that his unspecified initial arm speed up until the point of throw is slow.), he would reach Den long before the shuriken even had a chance of hurting him, and even before the shuriken could be in any position to hurt him.
By this point, Den’s designated “Clone 1” would have performed its actions, but of course, they would be ineffective (Den not having stated how quickly he had performed the physical pre-requisites to summon his snake buddy).
At any rate, considering that Den had basically done nothing to stop his actions, the Genesis Surgery would land as before, absorbing Den as stated in the previous post.

Kozai would never get used to using Genesis Surgery. It was a jutsu that many he had known in Iwa looked on as disgusting. Things like that didn't matter to him, though. Stumbling a few steps, he drew a sharp breath as he came to a halt. Yes, the absorption had been successful. Why hadn't the man used any wood release techniques against him? Well, it didn't matter now. Kozai felt an emotion within him that he hadn't felt for some time now... anger. Did these people not know when to leave him in peace? He hadn't done anything to them; in fact, he had enhanced that one Kyofu child.
Sure, Kyofu had given him something in return, but it was really only a small sample of DNA. And yet, they somehow felt that it was necessary to send forth one of their best and strongest in an attempt to kill him? Well then... it appeared he needed to have a word with someone. Ryuk temporarily forgotten, he began to talk toward Hoshi, his face set in a harsh frown. Did they think this was some kind of joke? He'd have to set all things straight.

Ryuk lumbered down from his tree and began to pace away from where he stood. Kozai was indeed a powerful ninja and the technique he used would be kept in the back of his mind for further study later on it happened in a blur so he didn't know how much he would be able to see as he looked back to see what it was Kozai had done to the other man.
