I like Art as Much as the Next Guy but... (D-Rank)

(D-Rank Art Thief)
Arai hurried through the village, looking for the reported "Art Thief." Apparently, this person had been taking small works of "art" from homes, local statuette/portrait booths and most notably, from Suna's museum. Naturally, this wasn't a national emergency nor even an inconvenience. Rather, this was a minor annoyance to the people of Suna, preventing them getting comfortable. Everyone knows local art thieves tend to make people very uncomfortable. No one would want that. Arai had already interviewed two or three booths who had a few goods stolen. Nothing more than a small wooden statuette here or a half-finished self portrait there, but the losses were noticeable. Enough to employ the services of a fresh Genin. Unfortunately, everyone she visited gave her the same "I didn't see his face. It was dark" excuse. To be perfectly honest, Arai's patience with this thief and those he stole from were reaching their breaking point. Every time she approached a potential source of crucial info and every time she was turned away with the same disappointing answer: "I didn't see him. It was dark." Of course it was. Why wouldn't it be? IT WAS NIGHT! You'd think people would pay more attention when their goods are being taken RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM right? Apparently not. Apparently not. Arai's breath had alluded her lungs from running back and forth across the sun-caked Sand all morning and afternoon. The back of her neck was cooked to a tender pink from extended sun exposure. Her muscles ached starting in her calves and ending in her mid-back. Deciding that it was time for some sort of break, Arai threw herself on a nearby bench, throwing her head over the back in exhaustion. Just as she did so, however, a scream followed by the sound of ceramic crashing to the ground. Arai rolled her deep blue eyes in irritation, lungs still burning in protest. Why did he have to spring into action as soon as Arai needs a rest? Arai got to her feet and made her way to the source of the noise as quickly as her weary body would permit. When she arrived, She saw a masked man dressed in a dark brown robe, face obscured by a heavy brown hood/shadow combination, wrestling a clay statue of the current kazekage, Koroshi Uchiha, out of the hands of a middle age old lady. Some how, Arai wasn't quite able to understand how petty crimes like these are allowed to operate in Suna. This momentary comment didn't halt the wolf-girl's advance, however. Arai was on the figure in a second, ramming her hands together in two hand signs, Boar and Ram. Wind culminated around her right hand, picking up sand and dirt, whirling it around in the figure's eyes, causing him to grunt and stumble back, causing him to drop the statue into the soft sand below. When he wiped the grime clear from his eyes, he would see Arai's fingers closed around a bow of wind with her right hand and with her left, wind culminated into something akin to arrows in between her pointer finger, middle finger and ring fingers. She placed the arrows against the wind string and aimed the bow at the man's chest.
"Come with me or else." Arai growled, trying to sound as intimidating as she could. The man either called her bluff or didn't hear it because he took off running, trying to break for the Sand's gates. Arai rolled her eyes again and lowered the bow so each arrow was aimed at the man's calves. and pulled the arrows back on the string. She let her fingers go and a second later, Arai watched as the man fell, arrows of wind impacting with the back of his legs. He must have hit his head on the way down because he didn't scream. Nor did he struggle when she flipped him over to check if he was conscious. He wasn't. Arai checked his clothes for any additional stolen items but came up empty. That was strange... she was sure this man was the art thief. Arai half dragged half carried the man back to the checkpoint, half-wondering where the rest of the stash could be...
