Timmy you dummy(mission, done)
Mon Jan 18, 2016 4:39 am
It was the middle of the day and Ita had spent the most of it training. Training so hard that he had decided to treat himself to some ramen. Ita sat down and waited for his turn to order, but his tranquility would soon be disrupted by a rather large looking dog who was making its way down the street barking at every person it passed. At first, this would not bother Ita because he never really did care for animals although if he got to know one he probably would feel some sort of way for it. For the time being he would ignore it and let it continue to harass the people while he awaited his food. This however, did not work as the dog quickly made its way up to the bar of the modest ramen shop, proceeding to bark in the ear of Ita and the other patrons. Ita could see the growing frustration of the patrons and could hear them ‘shooing’ the dog away. Clearly the dog was trying to get their attention. Ita couldn’t help but feel pity for the dog. Maybe it was just hungry? But what do big dogs like that eat? Humans? Ramen would do the trick ITa supposed. Ita dug in his pocket and mustered up some Ryo before motioning towards the cook, “Make that a double.” The dog whimpered as they waited. Eventually the food would be served and ITa would place the bowl full of ramen next to him on the ground away from the customers. Luckily, Ita was sitting at the end so the dog wasn’t taking up much space by eating next to him. Ita and the dog seemed to inhale their food. Who finished first was a mystery. Ita was starving and had been training so hard that he had apparently taken on the appetite of a beast. Now that they were finished, Ita hoped that the dog would be on his way, but again this was not the case. Ita had now established trust between him and the animal. Now Ita was more invested in the dogs cause more than ever.
“What is it boy?” Ita would ask looking down into the large brown eyes of the dog who seemed to be frantic as it continued to bark, syliva flying from its mouth and getting onto ITa’s face. Ita expression would sulk. The dog now latched onto the pants of Ita and began to tug, pulling ITa clean from off his seat. As Ita fell, he would place the ryo on the table and land on his feet from off the top of the chair. The dog sure was strong and it had now gotten Ita’s full attention, but what did it want? ITa tried to shake free of the dogs enormous jaw, but it was no use. Ita was now basically it’s prisoner, so if he tried to leave it would be no use. Ita was surprised with how patient he was actually being. Helping a dog? What was Ita becoming. A student turned teacher and now a rescuer of animals? Well this beat getting a hobby so Ita would go along with it. The dog finally released his clench on Ita’s pant leg which was now ripped and would have to be disposed of at a later time.
Now that the dog had gotten ITa’s full attention, Ita found himself following the large dog through the street towards an unknown location. Imagine if the dog was setting Ita up? That would be the last time he would ever trust an animal again. At least for the time being the dog had almost completely stopped barking. It was quiet loud and bothersome, although Ita still wasn’t too sure where he was going or what the dog needed exactly. Ita found himself on the outskirt of Konoha walking through the green fields of a pasture. At the top of a hill was a well-covered by a small roof. Once they were about 100 feet from the well, the dog’s whimpers turned into loud barks. The dog looked at Ita once more then made a run for the well moving as fast as he could. What was in the well that the dog was so excited for? Was it thirsty? Don’t tell me this dog brought me all the way out here just to get some water? Ita was a bit pissed for a moment, but as he got closer to the well he could hear the sounds of what appeared to be a young boys from coming from within the well.
Ita made his way behind the dog to the well. Once he got to it, he took a step closer and peered inside. Inside the well was no water, but a boy. A water with no well? Ita now understood why the dog had brought him here. It looked at the dog and then at the boy once more. The boy had been crying, but once he heard the dogs bark he seemed to wipe away his tears and peer up at ITa who was looking dog at him. “Hello, Mister can you get me out? Some older boys threw me down here and I’ve been stuck for a really really long time.” The boy said to Ita, his voice echoing from within the well. “One sec.” Ita would say as he would quickly think of how to get the boy out. The boy was probably about 10 feet deep in the well Ita thought, how would he get him out? Ita looked around a noticed a rope connected to a bucket which was thrown off into the grass, presumably the one that was hanging prior to this little boy getting thrown down there. Ita quickly acquired it and through it down the well, Ita and the dog pulling on the rope to get the boy up. After the boy was up he thanked Ita and hugged his dog then ran off into the distance.
