Shoot for the Stars!

Love found herself wandering around Sunagakure, just exploring the sun city. It was a nice peaceful village but still foreign so Love made her way to the training grounds. If there was any place in this village that would feel the most like home it would be this place. She remembered how it had looked at night when she ran into Maloren while she was well running. It wasn't much different in the day but at least she didn't have to keep looking down to make sure she didn't trip over anything. Love breathed a sigh and folded her arms across her chest. As she did so her palms landed on the exposed skin of her arms, she noticed how hot her skin was despite not feeling over heated.

Love looked around the grounds for a tree to sit under but this was a desert, so she instead started to look for an awning or gazebo. Unfortunately she didn't find a gazebo but she did find an awning, she'd just have to keep her hands off of the hot ground. As she walked over the shaded spot Love noticed an empty glass bottle on the ground, there was no reason for it to spark an idea in her mind but it did. Love picked up the bottle in one hand and pulled out a scroll with the other. She was going to seal the bottle away. The generic sealing jutsu that she was about to attempt would conclude her basic fuinjutsu training, should she be successful that is. Love run rolled the the scroll and placed the bottle on top.

She then rubbed her hands together and placed the dominant one on top of the bottle. If she remembered correctly that was all she needed to do, so Love let her chakra flow through her palm. "Hmm.." Love thought aloud to herself when it didn't work. It hadn't been that long ago since she had read the book that contained the information on the jutsu. Love then closed her eyes and pictured the page in her mind, she mouthed the words as she relived the moment in her mind. "I definitely did it right." She announced after reopening her eyes. Love shrugged concluding that fuinjutsu just really wasn't her thing, but she wasn't about to give up. Love was never one to give up, not matter how hard or seemingly impossible the task was. Although she wasn't stubborn enough to waste all of her chakra on one jutsu, at least not a measly E ranked one.

She wasn't about to spend the whole day on such a low ranked tech either so Love shook her head and cleared her thoughts. The girl lifted her hand from the bottle and replaced it, she also let the chakra flow once more. She stared intently at her hand and wouldn't stop until she saw the array. Once she saw that she knew that the jutsu was successful and the bottle would disappear seconds later. Satisfied with her accomplishment Love re-rolled her scroll and placed it back into her weapon pouch, she would release it later. For now she would stand up, stretch, and catch a breeze; While doing so she saw many other young people training. She wouldn't be here long but she wouldn't mind making a temporary friend.

Ryou Kenshin, if you have ever met him, he was a trainer. Of course being a trainer he goes to the train field A LOT. He was heading to the field with five training dummies. The dummies were made of fabric and filled with cotton filling. Ryou would use these new training tools a lot lately.

Before head to the field to train, Ryou wanted wanted to learn another A ranked jutsu in his home, it was called Wind style: wind rejuvination. For this jutsu, he was told that he need to take his wind chakra inside his body, increasing speed and other wind style jutsu. So for awhile, outside his aunt's aparment, he practiced breathing wind chakra in. The breath exercises helped him imagine what to do with the jutsu, but so far nothing had happened. He kept at it though, he needed to get stronger to face all his friends that he had challenged. It had been an hour or so head to his original destination, the training field. 


Upon arriving to the field, Ryou notice the female at the training fields as well as himself. He didn't think it was abnormal for someone to be there, what he did find abnormal was that she wasn't from the village. I fact she was from he leaf village, like so many of his new friends. Another thing he noticed was that she was trying to use fuinjutsu, which he had never seen before in person but he has seen the patterns in books.  He places the dummies near by hoping that she could help him train. Then Ryou thought, Or I could help her train, maybe there is something she would like to learn. Ryou cleared his throat. "Hey, a leaf ninja, I'm Ryou Kenshin." He introdsed himself hoping she would see him as any threat, or even see her as a threat.

During her stretch Love noticed a small young boy carrying five training dummies on to the grounds and then towards her. "Hmm..?" Love's eyebrows perked up with the boy cleared his throat. "Hey there sandy." She said mocking him. "What can Ai-sama help you with?" She finished placing her hands on her hips as the words left her mouth. The kid didn't look much like a taijutsu user so her next guess was ninjutsu, although simple wooden targets could be used for that. Then again this was a different country so she had no idea how or what they taught their students and it wouldn't really matter a target was a target. Love stared directly into his eyes waiting for an answer, "hopefully" the boy wouldn't get weirded out.

Ryou laughed at the funny nickname she called him. "What can Ai-sama help you with?" She asks. "Well, I don't know, what kind of stuff do you know?" He responds with his own question. "Also, I could help you with something, despite my age, I'm not THAT weak." He laughs but he hoped that she didn't think that he was weak because of his age. Ryou also wonder if she will accept him as some kind of student, he was a sandy after all. I could also spar with her to show her my strength and she could show hers, she could be my level so it could be interesting. He thought as he put down his hood on his hoodie, exposing the rest of his rich blonde hair which seemed to be a little brighter with the sun shining upon it.

Love smiled at his comment that came after his question answer. "Well I know a little taijutsu and a little fuinjutsu; but since you seem to be in a teaching mood, if you want to, we can spar." Love watched the boy pull down his hood and the sun shine on his blond hair. She imagined what the sun was doing to her own red hair, she'd been told that it tends to glow as if she had blonde highlights. Getting back to the topic at hand she added, "Ya know? You show me yours and I'll show you mine." She grinned curious to see what he could do. It wasn't smart to underestimate a person even in a friendly setting. Hopefully he would agree to spar and Love would get to show off a bit, it wasn't often that she got to do that. People were either better or on the same level as her.

Ryou smiles as she says they can spar. Prefect, more people to become friends with through the art of sparing He thought, jumping back. In the mid jump, at the peck of his jump, he threw two shuriken at a speed of 50 to test her speed. Once he landed he would preform the hand signs ram-snake-tiger, to make two clones of himself. They were just intangible clones of course. From there the clones and orginal pulled out kunai and stood defensively. He plan was that she would block the shuriken and not know which one he was to confuse her, leaving a good opening to attack.

Upon seeing the boy jump back Love was automatically on guard. When saw the two shuriken being thrown she reached into her weapon pouch on her hip and pulled out two of her own to deflect them. Love then charged at the boy while he made hand seals, she recognized the pattern before the clones appeared so she knew they wouldn't be real. And if it was another jutsu well she had a shield for that. Love would attack the boy in gentle fist style, she'd memorized the chakra network but wasn't using her eyes so there's room for error. Should the boy try to run away she'd simply cast hazy genjutsu.

Love then charged at him after blocking Ryou's attack before he made the clones. Ryou had never seen the gentle fist, so to him it looked like she was charging at him with her palm. Even though Ryou didn't know what jutsu this was he wasn't about to find out. He put his hands in the tiger position and used the body flicker jutsu seeing his clones were going to do nothing. He move behind her with a speed of 55, just barley getting hit by her tai jutsu. Now that he thought he had her blind spot he picked up a shuirken from earlier attack. He infuses with his wind chakra into the small throwing blade and threw it at her. After the shurkien moves toward her at a speed of 50 the wind chakra make the blades on each end 3 cm longer.

Seeing the boy use his hands to form the ram seal and disappear into a blur of speed Love realized she'd underestimated him and need to be on point. She then activated her eyes as Ryou dipped down and picked up one of the previously used shuriken. Seeing the chakra being wrapped around it she could only think that it would make the shuriken faster and or stronger. With not much time to move Love leaned forward at a 90 degree angle while forming the rat and then boar hand seals. She wanted to test him by making it seem like she was moving at impossible speed, she wanted to see what the boy would do in this situation. Once the shuriken had past her head Love ran towards the boy once more, her palm would cause a quick precise thrust in the boy's chest (-5 cha & ap). But because Love didn't want to hurt the boy it only had a power of 30, so it would her but there would be no internal damage. Love would still be in gentle fist stance after the attack but back track so that there was a one and one half meter gap between the two.

Seeing her dodge his attack with such speed, Ryou thought it was kinda unfair that he wasn't throwing with full force. He noticed his mistake as she charged at him with her palm. The other thing he figured out was that she might me a Hyuuga, with her eyes changing to look like what was showed in the books. His speed was no match for him and once he was tagged by her attack he fell over but it didn't hurt that much. "I-I guess you win." He hung his head in defeat. He lets himself up. "You're fast." He admitted. Ryou gives off his nice goofy but friendly smile. Ryou was use to defeat when he fought shinobi, he hoped training with ninja like him would help spar or fight with people like Love, Ayame and Sal.
