Once more Sakana’s face dropped facing the harsh reality of the situation. “Sounds good to me. If it gets rough, back out. You’re no good to the village dead. This very well could be the last time he saw his friends, but thinking those thoughts were only self destructive at this point. There was nothing else that the Meijin could do at this point. Komon revealed that the twins also found a lead into the Senshi investigations. The chuunin didn’t want to be a conspiracy theorist but this issue started to look much bigger than his friends all thought it to be.
 
The say one of the signs that a person is going to consider suicide involved giving away your material possessions. Sakana tried his best to ignore the fact that Komon asked him to look after his  hammer, taking it just as proper planning.
 
The twins pushed forward outside of the village pursing the unknown. It wasn’t a question of if they would come back, it was when they would come back. The village had lost too many soldiers already, any more could cripple the village.  Sakana grabbed onto the arms of Komorgi and helped him wave goodbye to his owner, though the only one who saw it would be the chuunin and a rot citizen.
