It seemed like everybody around had their own sort of tragic backstory or big ambitious dream. The teen now identified as Enishi appeared to idolize the village's past a bit much. Okabe never considered himself much of a patriot. He liked the village well enough but he always figured the other villages were more or less the same. He didn't have the greatest opinion of the church and all their hateful looks either. This so called Golden Age wasn't all that great for some people.

He wanted to pipe up and sling a few insults towards the silver haired youth, but he was cut off by the group leader asking further questions. He wanted to know about their respective clans. Not all that odd of a question given many people's genetic abilities.

When it was his turn to share Okabe would say, "Not much to my clan. A bunch of sad excuses for soldiers who could on channel chakra through special blades like this one" he would pull his sheathed sword off his hip and hold it up. "Doctors say its an issue with our Chakra paths so the sword kinda acts like a conduit." After showing the sword to the group he would place it on the ground and squat down in front of it.

"As for the people of my clan, they're mostly gone. Took the royal family's side in the Civil War and most of them bit the dust." He would lower his head and run his finger through the dirt. He didn't much like talking about his family. He was his own man making better decisions than his ancestors.
