Back in Black

Scenes of a brawl could be seen all through the small section of the street where the three Kumogakure shinobi were located. Where the atmosphere was first amicale due to the drinking contest it now had escalated greatly in a 3 versus everyone. Ichigo noticed Zento dealing with a couple of his assaulters, the same amount of seconds where he didn't pay attention which allowed for one of the bouncers to grab him from behind in an attempt to restrict his movements. "Ha, you thought", the Drunk would say before using the back of his head to smash in his opponent's face, leaving him with a broken nose only to then perform an Ippon by grabbing the man's arm and throwing him over his shoulder and down on the ground.

By the time he turned around Ichigo noticed Ryu's not so successful attempt at taking down one of their opponents. "Worry not, young padawan. Let me show you how it's done". The Drunk emptied an entire bottle of sake in one go before taking a rather strange fighting stance. Moving irregularly and erratically he'd charge forward towards whoever crossed his path, his unpredictable movements leaving his targets unable to react as they didn't know or see what was coming for them. The spectators would see something similar to a dance, fluent motions of his body while in reality someone who'd actually pay attention would notice Ichigo was just completely wasted and thus surprising everyone with his unorthodox fighting style.

Teaching Ryu Drunken Fist

Ryu landed square on his back, his head bouncing hard off the paved floor, the blow bringing back some of his senses. Ryu shook his head as he pushed himself up and turned so he was on his knees. The man who still had not introduced himself told Ryu to pay attention, apparently, the man was used to fighting in this situation. Ryu suddenly felt a moment of clarity, knowing that he was about to gain some information about fighting, perhaps a specific technique, nothing would bring Ryu back to reality than the potential of learning new things. A glint shot through his eyes as he watched the unknown new friend take a peculiar stance, that was preceded by an entire bottle of alcohol. 

"I see, the key is more alcohol," Ryu said loudly as he pushed himself up from his knees and reached for a pair of bottles from a nearby table, he held one in each hand and proceeded to empty them both into his mouth simultaneously. Ryu dropped both the bottles to the ground and wiped the excess liquid away from his lips. Ryu smiled, the alcohol went straight to his system and he could feel the effects instantly, his smiled and looked up just as a bouncer took a huge cross and smacked him square in the jaw, his head turned slightly to the side from the force, however, the pain was negligible considering the power of the blow. Ryu smiled wider as blood seeped from a gash at the edge of his lip, he then dropped down into a clumsy version of his new friend's stance and allowed his mind to empty, his natural reactions taking over as he swayed from side to side. Ryu dodged another cross, as he did he stepped through and brought his right arm up and close lined the bouncer knocking him to the floor.

Zento stumbled around trying to get to his feet. The booze still taking it's toll on him. Grabbing a bouncer that was closing in and holding him off. Both trying to gain the upper hand. Hearing a remark from one of them calling them by a different name. The drunken Zento quickly responding to the word padawan. "WRONG FRANCHISE!"  In that moment, he lost his grip and was tackled into the table. 

He quickly head butted the man in the nose. Getting him off for a second before landing the final blow. Finally Zento stood with no challengers. Breathing heavy and blood leaving his own nose. He put his fist into the air and screamed. The crowd roaring with the cheers for this fight quickly turning back to see if his new buddies have finished their match ups.

As he continued dropping everyone who dared to challenge him Ichigo noticed Ryu getting the hang of it. An experienced drunk himself, the man was more than aware how to fight while in an intoxicated state. So who better suited to teach the style of Drunken Fist to a fellow shinobi than him? Not that there would be a lot of time to focus on giving him the basics considering there were still a couple of bouncers left that needed dealing with. An incoming punch would be avoided by slightly lowering his forehead, meeting his opponent's fist with the hard part of his face and breaking the man's hand in the process.

Maintaining his irregular and erratic movements Ichigo continued making his way through the bunch of bouncers. The unpredictable fighting style allowing him to avoid every incoming assault on his person all the while surprising the others with his remarkable moves. A couple of minutes had passed when he suddenly noticed there was no one left standing besides the three Kumogakure shinobi. Zento would be calling out, claiming their victory to which the Drunk simply raised a glass. "Well done boys, victory is ours!" Ichigo then grabbed another two bottles, one for each.

Ryu straightened up as he dropped the bouncer in front of him, he still had a bottle of sake in each hand. He lifted each one in turn to his lips to try and acquire more liquid but they were both empty. Ryu dropped the bottles on the man in front of him and stumbled forward, finding another spilt bottle, but that still had some liquid left in it and drain the rest of its contents. Sitting on the table he looked around and blinked a few times to try and clear his vision, but it was still blurry. It appeared there group were the victors. Ryu suddenly felt very hungry "Fooood" he said out loud to the other two. He dropped the bottle in his hand onto the table "AND MORRRRE DRINKS" he said louder than needed. Ryu had been taught about inhibition from a young age, but the person in his life that monitor that trait and feelings had recently been ripped from him, so he had lower willpower to resist making these kinds of decisions. Ryu would understand why a night of drinking like they were currently in was not good the next morning when he would not be able to be productive from his first hangover, but that was for later, tonight he would continue to enjoy himself with his new friends, one of which he still did not know their name. "What's your name by the way sensei?" he said to the one who showed him how to drunk fight, the words coming slowly and slightly slurred.

Zento laughed as he saw the rest of his team win their fights. The crowd cheering them on and Zento looking over to a table with some nachos. Making his way over there and shoveling a mouthful of them down the hatch. Quickly cleaning himself up and stumbling past the crowd back to his comrades. Falling forward but catching himself on a random stranger. Looking at the person pushing Zento off of them and falling on the table. Rolling slowly and then crashing onto the ground..

Zento got himself up and pointed to the sky. "Ok, I think we gave a good enough show. Let's get outta here boys." Hearing the owner talk about payment for entering the contest. "Don't worry, I got everyone once I sober up." Giving finger guns to the owner and turning his attention to finally talk with the two other victors "ok, follow me boys. I got a place for us to crash." Stumbling out of the area singing old drinking songs with a bottle of sake in hand still.

Making his way out of the village gates and off some distance, he made his way to his old house. The massive size of it but looking run down from the outside. The symbol for his clan hanging to show it once belonged to his family. The house built to be a traditional house for the wealthy. Covering multiple floors and his garden section close to the inside. Walking up the few steps to the door and opening it. Almost forgetting if anyone was still with him or not. 

The inside looking completely taken care of as countered to the outside. A kitchen not far and his living room having a meditation area and a training area outside with a massive cherry blossom tree and pond next to it full of fish. "Guest rooms are all on the left down the first hallway" he spoke and stumbled his way to a bag next to the door leading to the tree. Making his way to the pond and tossing fish food from the bag into the pond. He would drop the bag and stand for a moment. Zoning out and getting lost in thought.

Quickly snapping out of it and looking around. He wasn't sure how long he stood there. Probably just a few seconds. Sitting down with his back resting on the tree. His eyes closed and breathing in the fresh air

The Drunk stretched his muscles after their brawl was finally finished. Standing victorious were the three Kumogakure shinobi, all still pretty intoxicated, the one more than the other. "Hm? Didn't you hear me the first time? It's Ichigo" the Drunk voiced as he replied to Ryu's question. It was the second time someone called him sensei. The first being back when he taught Ikari the earth element which helped the boy achieve his goal of attaining access to his clan's advanced element. However, that didn't mean Ichigo got used to it. If anything, he was far from the best example of what's supposed to be the image of a teacher.

Anyway, now that everything's been settled the Drunk heard Zento telling the other two to follow him, mentioning something about having a place to crash. With everything that had happened Ichigo lost track of time but now that he started sobering up he could notice the night was about to fall over their village. The three men clearly had their fair share of alcohol and fun, a sign it was perhaps time to call it a day and head back as tomorrow would be another busy one. With that being said, the man followed behind Zento, wondering where he'd take them.

They'd pass the village gates, something Ichigo didn't expect. "I didn't know you lived outside the village" he voiced while picking up pace. Ryu, Ichigo and Zento finally arrived at the latter's place, the Yuki symbol indicating it once belonged to the Jounin's family. The Drunk would enter, listening to his companion explaining where he could find the guest rooms. "Sounds good, thanks. I'll be taking a piss first. If someone needs me, you know where to find me". Once Ichigo finished his business he would lay down and think about everything that happened that day.

"Hmm i must have missed that one Ichisensei," Ryu said not remembering him introducing himself. Ryuzaki stumbled around for a few minutes and then followed the other two as they left the area, he made a note to come back the next time he was in the area to pay for the contest they had just been in, whether that memory would hold or not was unknown, but he would at least try. As the trio started to make their way from the establishment they approached the village gates and then passed through them. "Hey I live outside the gates too," Ryu said with a smile on his face, the words flowing very awkwardly from his mouth, this was the first time he had met someone else who was part f the village but lived outside its gates, although of course they both still lived within its borders.

After a short time when they reached the compound and Zento told them where to go Ryu slumped down on the porch of the building and waited for the other two, after a few seconds he found himself falling asleep and he fell sideways to cover the entrance of the property.

Ichigo returned to his temporary sleeping place after finishing his business against one of the trees nearby. A lot had happened during the day, all the more reason for the Drunk to lay down, allowing his body to recover after having to use it more than he planned to. Slow but steady he started to feel the fatigue taking its toll, his eyes closing and opening one after the other until he finally found himself falling asleep. If he was still awake, he'd probably wonder if Zento and Ryu were also having trouble keeping their eyes open as well.  But for now, the Drunk simply allowed himself to enter a dreaming state.

A couple of hours later, woken up by the outside light shining on his face and the sound of birds singing, Ichigo stretched his muscles before standing up and remembering the events that took place the night before. The Drunk looked around to see if any of the other two were around and if not he would simply return home. Considering all three of them were part of Kumogakure's forces he knew it would only be a matter of time before running into his fellow shinobi once more.
