In Search of Relics (IO)(NK)

Murata dips her head in appreciation and understanding. Such generous access to Kirigakure's archives is an unexpected blessing, even if there is the annoying tangle that they have somehow lost track of an entire village. Its destruction must have been quite thorough, which makes Murata reconsider the likelihood that their mark would travel there. Still, one cannot underestimate the allure of sentiment, even if it is an expanse of lonely water that greets any visitor.

"I am comfortable with leading a team of four," she says as addition to Ban's statements. "We will file a report this week with our proposed group, and another with our findings in the archives before we wish to depart. Thank you for your time and your trust."

With the main business out of the way, it is likely that this brief meeting has concluded. If the Mizukage does not need anything more of them at this time, Murata will depart, presumably with Ban in tow.

"That went well," Murata says to Ban after they step back out into the cool air of the village. "Did you have anybody specific in mind?"

With the Kage's permission, Ban and Murata were clear to gather information and team members for the mission. Murata exited the office politely with Ban on her tail. Asked the Hozuki if she had any ideas for members for the mission. "Yes, I got one in mind," Ban said deeply. "Gonk Hoshigaki. We were on a mission together not too long ago. He's an excellent fighter and leader. I would start with him." 

With that as a starter, Murata and Ban would have to find his home and formally ask him to join their mission.

Nodding at the both of them, the Mizukage figured it wouldn’t hurt to grant their request and have them explore the unknown in a group of four. After all he figured it would be easier that way if they bunched up together rather than go in pairs of two or three. If that was all they had required from him then he would nod to them again once more and dismissed them. With that, the Mizukage had picked up his pen once more and began to sign documents that required them while stamping ‘Denied’ on others before overall marking them with the Mizukage seal of approval.

"I approve," she hums. "Gonk Hoshigaki and Kita Hajime, if they are both available?" She is unsure if Ban and Kita have met, but Kiri's current active forces are fairly tight-knit, so she assumes Ban is at least familiar with the name. She heads off with Ban to get in touch with their potential teammates, later in the day sending the team proposal to the Mizukage's office so they may gain access to the Under-Vault before their trip.
