The Misadventures of the Envoy [Mission/Solo]

Hello everyone! This topic is a bit old but recent events present me with an opportunity to provide an official ruling on the matter.

Mission Guidelines clearly state D and E Rank missions cannot be ambushed, regardless of where they are completed, or by whom. Once Tadashi completed mission the topic should have been completed.

However, since the missions were "technically" completed, Daiko entered into the topic, resulting in a further conflict resolved above. This created a precedent that players could enter into topics after missions were complete to keep the threads going.

This precedent was challenged here when Dave attempted to Resurrect a fallen comrade. Since the mission was "technically" completed Dave entered into the topic and was subsequently voided. The mission guidelines clearly state that hunter missions cannot be ambushed, be it by friend or foe.

With everything listed above we believe that Daiko's actions were a circumvent of the rules and the following action will be taken:

1: The mission Guidelines will be edited to include the following: "Once completed, missions cannot be entered by any party for any reason. Should players wish to continue RP, they must do so in the a new topic." Should a player be in a mission, the rules listed in the mission guidelines take precedence, this is especially important for Missing Ninja, since their regular topics have looser restrictions on entering them. The ruling, and the precedent created here, will be cited in the event future situations similar to this one arise.

2: Daiko will not be punished for the attempt, since something like this had not been attempted before, there was no precedent to follow, though we admit now that the actions were indeed incorrect.

3: Given that this topic is months old, there is no way for staff to return and possessions Tadashi lost in this topic, and is given the short end of the stick here. To compensate him, staff will give a 3000 WC payment that can be used in any way, but will not be given back the eye he lost. Tadashi had agreed to this compensation, can only use it on one character, and must provide a link to this thread when seeking approval to spend this WC.
