Sunagakure, a beautiful village hidden amidst the sultry terrain.
As always the village was buzzing with a warm breeze as the early evening winds rolled against the village and it's population. The small beads of golden dust that had coveted the land were steaming to a point where they could inflict small dents from just touching the skin for more than a few seconds.
If anything, today was a special day; there was a local contest to be held in the centre of the village market, of course this wasn't exactly a tradition opposed to a relatively quaint idea suggested by one of the aspiring ninjas hailed from the very same village hosting the competition."A simple get together. A plan I had created to bring different people from separate regions together. It's different but who's to say that's a bad thing?" these words coming from the lips of a rather, ambiguous local female.
Said female set herself on a near stall and addressed a forming crowd with a polite beam and continued. She raised her arms as a slightly eager look contorted her face. A usually reserved and quiet girl, now turned vivacious and power hungry; it appeared she was the commentator or something of the sort. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I address you, as a humble kunoichi hailing from this Sun blessed valley, urging you to put your name down for a very original challenge. The winner of course, will be granted something no other man has ever held before." "but before we continue to the event grounds, allow me to ask you a simple question, CAN YOU STOMACH THIS?" the crowd began cheering as every man, woman, child and stray animal started clambering behind the out spoken female, heading toward the day's main event.

Keiko had done something foolish. Luckily this time it did not involve anything that caused physical damage to herself or others around. Once again though Keiko was lost.
Being lost was one of Keiko's great many skill sets. Luckily for her though she usually had always been lost in her home village. Normally she would find her way back to a familiar street and get home. This time though something had changed. Keiko was not in her home village but instead a completely foreign land with unfamiliar settings and people. How she had managed to get from Kumogakure to Sunagakure was a mystery to Keiko. She assumed it had to do with her falling asleep on the back of a horse drawn cart that was full of a fabrics that looked at the time to be a perfect napping place. Thinking back to even why the initial idea that it would be ok made Keiko shake her head with anger. Mumbling to herself, "God im stupid." Of course now she was stuck and would have to deal with the situation at hand.
Sitting up in the horse drawn cart Keiko began to look around. She was able to confirm what village she was in just because of the large amount of sand. Seeing some people walk by with the Sand Villages symbol was another key hint. Realizing that she might not be welcomed Keiko quickly removed her head band and hid it away into a pocket. Upsetting to Keiko she was wearing her favorite white kimono with a beautiful pink flower pattern. She knew the second that she started moving that the sand and dirt would dirty up the kimono. Sighing, Keiko glanced around to look for her sword. Finding it right where she had left it was a relief and her entire body began to calm down. Grabbing the sword and hugging it tightly Keiko then closed her eyes and began to breathe. Focusing on what she needed to do next Keiko hopped out of the cart. Hearing some noise off in the distance gave Keiko the urge to find out what the cause was. With nothing else to do other then be lost she figured it didn't hurt to snoop around.
Finding her way to where all the excitement was, Keiko realized that a special event was going on. Being proud of herself for figuring such a obvious thing out was just who Keiko was. A few people had checked her out but then again a cute girl walking around in a pretty kimono does attract attention. Feeling confused due to the amount of people around Keiko saw a open bench and quickly started heading towards it. Fighting through a crowd of people to get to the bench made her wonder if sitting was really worth the hassel. Finally though she made it through and was able to sit and think. Concentrating on her surroundings and situation caused Keiko to realize that she was both hungry and thirsty.
"I hope I can get home eventually, this dry heat is gonna kill my skin..." she said to herself in a melodramatic tone.
So far today was not a perfect day for Keiko but she had hope that she would find something interesting to do to keep her mind distracted from her current situation.
