B-Rank- Friends in Low Places Mission
Wed May 30, 2012 4:26 pm
Roy began to travel through Tanzaku Town to find this caravan that he was secretly informed about. To avoid suspiscion, he would hide deep within the ground, travelling slowly to spot any powerful ninja around this area. He was guessing that they would be really close to the caravan, as it would be odd to approach someone at this time and leave the van wide open for claiming. Roy walked smoothly through the ground. Wind was rushing harshly as Roy made movement, making it difficult to proceed to the caravan quickly. Now was Roy's time to get some support. He was told that two powerful ninja were definitely going to approach him throughout his journey, so he didn't want to be outnumbered. He wasn't ready for that kind of battle yet. Leaves began to fall as Roy continued to travel to his target. So many thoughts went through Roy's mind as he wanted to know what kind of ninjas were going to interrupt his journey, and possibly what was this caravan truly needed for. Although these thoughts seemed to frighten Roy, he would stand his ground. Nature was his ride, and he knew that he would achieve this mission that he was involved in. The wind became heavier, as Roy was now at the midpoint between the caravan, and his starting point towards Tanzaku. As he began to be pushed back by the weather, he stood up with his ghost-like lower body, and soared through the trees. He moved silently, insuring that no further distractions would be created until he would meet the shinobi that were told to stand in his way.
The travel seemed long, so Roy sat there, waiting for his comrades to drop by. Wind blew through his hair as he started meditating within a tree. Plans began to flash before his eyes of what to do in order to accomplish this mission. Only question was, would it work? Roy had a seal and two releases with him. However, the word "powerful" still striked him. In the shinobi world, "powerful" was a strong word to use. It would often be used to describe shinobi quite similar to a Sensei, or cold-blooded killers. Also, the fact that this word came from a Hokage put lots of questions into Roy's mind. Maybe these shinobi could surpass the Hokage, or rather that they just looked powerful in his eyes. Roy was hoping for the second question to be shown as he began to see the caravan ahead. Surprisingly, no shinobi were there. Roy even used his Seal of Poison Ivy around himself to insure that shinobi were not around him, as the bright colours of the seal would allow Roy to see people through trees. Roy played this game smart, so he snuck under the van by hiding his ghostly lower body into the ground once more, and began carrying it very slowly, hardly making it noticable that it moved. "When will they get here?!" Roy thought to himself. Progress was finally being made as the caravan was coming closer and closer to its safe spot for the mission. The seal wore off. Roy immediately saw the two shinobi confront him.
"WHO ARE YOU?!" Roy shouted. The two shinobi had no response. They let their weapons do the talking. Roy did not allow this. A kunai blade was about to strike his head as he quickly grasped the arm of the shinobi striking and held the shinobi's hand to his head. "TALK NOW!" Roy shouted once again. "Our names are classified..." one of the shinobi replied. "If you can prove you're strong, then we'll begin providing info." the other shinobi said, adding on to the response that the first shinobi made. The shinobi quickly jumped further away from Roy and began making handsigns. Luckily, Roy was interrupted by two guests as this was happening.

It was an incredibly bright day, so much so that the genin had to wear sunglasses just so as to not go blind from the sun’s rays. She walked a few meters forward of her current location, and sat in a grassy area. She was in a forest a couple miles outside of the village, the most appropriate place to learn this newly discovered technique. The genin couldn’t appropriately use the technique on villagers, this held especially true given her status as an outsider. Most would take it in a bad way, which could spark international conflict of sorts. This she could very well do without.
The place in which she sat was damp, moisture condensing beneath her bottom. “Oh well.” She chimed unenthused. Forming a few hand seals, her shadow erupted outward until settling into place. She spied a new target, this time a small rabbit. It tried unsuccessfully to run and ended up instead getting caught in her technique. It had a look of pure terror in its small beady little eyes. This time, the hoshigaki genin really did feel bad for the poor thing. Of course she wasn’t going to kill it though, it posed no threat nor was there any sport in hunting it. The young woman wasn’t hungry either anyway.
She scratched her nose lightly with one finger, the animal trying in vain to do the exact same. It struggled for a little while, until finally being forced to stop. The genin got up and walked a half a meter or so, at which time she decided to cancel the technique. When used against smaller creatures, she noticed the technique wasn’t as taxing, though there was also the matter of the amount of movement involved. In any case, she let it go and moved on. The genin wished nothing more to test the technique on an actual human though she doubted anyone would actually let her. One of her clansmen just might though.
She wandered aimlessly through the dark wood, the young woman unable to see for the life of her. It was pathetic, but what was she to do, she couldn’t sleep, and she had to make way to the mission area to meet two supposed allies of her. Nuibari, her ANBU Captain had informed her of this mission opportunity. And she needed the ryo. She stumbled quite frequently as she trudged throughout thicket. Nothing stirred all that often, except for the occasional scampering critter. These were harmless, but the genin had heard rumors about large bears being sighted in the area as of late. This was a bit troubling; she just prayed she encountered none of those creatures after the massive war at Konoha. She made way towards a clearing in the weald, there she was finally able to sit down and catch her breath.
Just then however, a massive black bear twice maybe even three times her size appeared seemingly out of nowhere. It stood up on its hind legs, bearing its gargantuan maw at the young woman. Until then she had only been half-asleep truly, now being fully alert. To be honest, she had never been more pissed off in her life. She just wanted some fucking sleep. However, it approached swinging - She had to think quickly, somehow, some way she would find a way out of the mess.
The young woman initiated the All Directions Technique, catching the bear off guard almost instantaeneously. The bear unlike Sameonna had no hope of escape this time, the genin having caught it while still in an upright stance. It couldn’t possibly muster the strength necessary to survive this massive barrage of shuriken now. This also conveniently made the behemoth easier to subjugate, which she did so. It fell, and she drug it to the edge of a waterfall. The mist shinobi walked with the bear for some time, again reaching a similar clearing. Kicking the bear off the edge of the canyon with harsh ferocity, she laughed. She was so tired, she was going insane.
The poor creature let out a loud agonizing yelp as it was struck. This only served to enrage it further, it now flashing its canines at the young woman as it falls to its inevitable death. It broke through the shadow of clouds created by the waterfall in bestial fashion, desperately ripping and clawing ferociously. She slept for a few hours, and awoke later to be somewhat replenished. Enough to move out again. This time though she used the trees’ inherent shadow as a springboard for her own feet to latch on to. At this time the only thing she could do is to make her way to the mission location. Upon arriving, two ninja were confronting a Zetsu-like individual. The first supposed teammate. She immediately sprung into action. Although she was so small, she knew everyone in the area would feel her massive chakra enter the boundary. She had to act quick before they figured out where she was, and who she was. Jumping, she'd utilize her water encampment wall to form a large amount of water from thin air; an amazing feat, especially for someone her age and rank.
Extending her palms toward the two, the water would form into a harsh and violent surging wave of rabid sharks; piling into the two and dealing a grevious amount of damage. To make sure they died, she threw two percussion tags directly at them, performed a somersault over the two - the tags going off and creating an eardrum blasting sound. With the shock created, in mid-air, she'd hold her hand in front of her face and spew forth numerous gallons of water in the form of a jet. Screaming; the torrent would unleash upon the two, sealing their fates. "Suiton: Shippuza!" The blast would send a miniature shockwave throughout the area as it smashed into the suspected enemies, hollowing out the ground from beneath them. She'd land, barrel rolling and looking at the results of her actions, focusing on Roy as well.

Drake was tired of the hidden leaf, there were countless battles, and war. It was horrible, the boy left the village ready to find more out there. But what could hold out into the open? The world was very vast. Anywhere would be fine for Drake, he walked down a stony path across the hollow tree's to newborn sprouts. The children were playing, and the shinobi were training. The day was bright, but it seemed a little too normal. Drake knew that he had nothing to worry about. For, he was planning on finding two great swords that would help him. He didn't have any main goals, but his determination drove him on. Drake came down a narrow path towards a local town between the borders. He looked a bit different carrying a katana, with odd clothes. A leaf fell from a tree, he stepped back where he looked up to a great Oak tree. It reminded him of his father, tall and would always spread thoughts. Drake stuffed the leaf in his pocket where he dashed downwards toward the merchant stores.
Drake looked around, not alarmed he knew that he was going to have to buy something to eat. He walked to a sales man where he bought an apple for 10 ryo. It was big, but costed small. The boy sat down on a bench where he looked towards the clouds, would he grow "powerfull"? Was he lacking something? Drake looked downwards to his sharp but rather averaged sword. If Drake was a shinobi he would rank it B class. One thing didn't get to him, what was REALLY going on out there. Battle through Battle everyday. Was it normal for people to die? But, the boy wanted one goal, to become the Worlds Best Swordsmen. It would be hard but with his style of movement he would change, but that wouldn't be enough. In his swordsmen creek style, he would lack chakra. But, his 200-Pound WInd Pheonix was a bit over his league. After, Drake finshed the apple he threw it at the trashcan but it rolled over and circled around the rim hitting a man in the hand. As the big man turned around, he was a hulk. Big, bulky, a bit layed back, but buff.
Drake tried to ignore him, but the yelled much curse words toward Drake. Eventually, Drake turned around towards the bulk. The big man followed up with more cuss words where he threw a punch towards Drake, Drake blocked it using his Swordsmen Creek mode with his sword Drawed. The boy gripped the hulks arm firmlly leaning towards him, he flipped the big bulk over. Where left a great crater, most of the towns people surronded him. Drake then gripped the man knocked out towards the police station. As he was walking he approached a plant life creature and a woman using a water based jutsu to whipe out two shinobi's. Drake made his way past the woman towards the plant like creature, he was amazed by the person he was looking at. While, carrying a hulk x2 there size. "Hey are you from around here?" Drake asked curious. He didn't know anyone, but he was trying to find out about him.

Roy watched as two other shinobi followed him, one to finish these shinobi off, and the other to help out with the van. They were not the comrades that Roy would expect, but strangely enough, Roy was proud that it was them over the people he was expecting. The woman he could tell was very strong. Only a couple skills to wipe out two shinobi that even the Hokage found powerful astounded Zetsu. He smiled at the girl. "Hey there!" he said as he shook hands with the girl "Looks like I have myself a team!" Roy looked back to see the other Missing-Nin starting to carry the caravan. Unfortunately, Roy had no performance of his own to unleash in this scenario. However, he sensed a bond between the two Missing-Nins and himself. "The ultimate trio..." he thought to himself. He helped the strong man from behind carry the van, making a quick return to the safe spot that someone had told him, two miles away from the gates of Konoha. "Drake is it?" Roy asked. The man nodded. Roy then turned to the girl. "And you?" Roy questionned the girl as she did not give a response. Roy could still tell by the faces of these shinobi that they were friends, and Roy could possibly join them. "Could they be...MISSING NINS?!" Roy thought to himself. The thoughts came as the two shinobi declared that the three had reached their destination. Roy thanked them as they smiled to him and disappeared. For the first time, Roy felt welcomed.
