Mangetsu roamed around the borders in his puddle. He was slightly bored of course. Deciding now would be the best time to train, after all, how did he expect to get any stronger without training? He decided to head down to a place he felt was perfect for training, The Grand Sea. Being a water element and practically being water yourself, made training around water a good idea and beneficial. He roamed over the ground in his puddle until he arrived on the sandy beach of The Grand Sea. He went to the edge of the shore and transformed into his human form as he stretched his legs out and let the water wash over him. Nothing was more energizing tan being one with the water, literally.
“Eh, may as well start.” Kenjutsu was his specialty, but he knew a couple of jutsus he could do. Being from Kirigakure, there is one certain jutsu that just about anyone can do. A technique known as, hiding in the mist. Mangetsu put his hands together as he did a few quick hand signs. Around the beach a misty fog began to roll in. The handy thing about this technique is that if a person has special eyes, it usually will block their vision making it difficult for anyone to see him. Even people with regular eyes may find it hard to see him. Mangetsus other trick was being able to turn into a puddle. This was his clans Kekkei Genkai. It was one he had to learn, even though it was easy for him. He morphed into his puddle and began moving fast along the shore line. He then emerged, imagined an opponent in front of him and pulled his sword out in an attack position. He slashed it across the misty air put it up and morphed back into his puddle and moved back to his original location.
His sword was a piece of work. Being a seven swordsmen of the mist, he had a special sword in which was unique to him. He had named it the Akuma’s Hana. Akuma meaning demon, similar to his name Mangetsu, or the second coming of the demon. The Akuma’s Hana had an ability to draw water out of any living thing around it, this is why it is unique to Mangetsu. Mangetsu himself should be able after much practice to dehydrate a person himself, which is part of his Kekkei Genkai. If he ever decides to master that part of the ability of his Kekkei Genkai, which may take a while to learn.
In The Hozuki clan, there was a Mangetsu before him as well. He was also a seven swordsmen when the mist was referred to as The Bloody Mist. Mangetsu wanted to make sure he lived up to his name. mangetsus other ability was being able to pull people into his puddle and to sneak attack using his puddle. Since he had no one to practice with he would use the rocks as his targets and sneak up behind them.
Mangetsu roamed in his puddle through the mist, as fast as he could, he appeared behind a rock and quickly morphed into his human form with his Akuma’s hana already in hand. That was something else that took a lot of practice because you have to be fast to remove the sword as you change. A challenge he learned all too quickly. A couple of times he tried to draw his sword only to end up empty handed or had lost the sword in the puddle. At least it was in practice and not in an actual battle.
Mangetsu morphed into a puddle roamed out onto the water as he morphed on tp of the water with sword in hand, he began to practice sword stances for a while. He discovered different ways to unsheathe his sword and different moves to use when cutting a enemy down. “I should train more, the more the better, the better I am then I become the best.” He said to himself to keep himself motivated. He then morphed back into his puddle and road the waves into the shore before morphing back to his human form. “I need to learn more techniques, I can’t defeat an enemy with just my hidden mist technique.” This is when Mangetsu decided it was time to hit the books. Grated he had memorized and been practicing his clone jutsus, his replacement jutsus and his tree climbing jutsus. Some of them were not enough to make him a powerful swordsman.
On the shore he decided to practice his sword techniques in the mist. Slicing at the mist may become boring, but the practice was beyond needed. He could also easily do his transformation jutsus. This was something he was excellent at and nearly got it after the first two times of trying. The same with the clone technique, he only had to try a couple of times.
Realizing how huge the ocean was, he decided to sit on the shore for a while and study. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a book on jutsus he had gotten when he went to the academy. The more he read he figured the more he would learn. The one jutsu he had learned the most about was the Water Style: Water Prison technique. He had a small version he could do on his own that he practiced using small rabbits, but he had never been able to actually use the literal water prison technique. A few of his siblings were able to use this technique as were his parents, it was only a matter of time before Mangetsu would master this technique himself , and when he did it would open a door for more opportunities and jutsus.
After a couple of hours of reading Mangetsu put up his book and drank some cool refreshing water, turned into his puddle and decided to head home to Kiri. Yes home was his puddle, but Kiri was his village.
