A Walk Through hell, to get to hell (P)
Mon Jan 14, 2013 2:39 am
As Vapula was walking through the night desert it was cold and he knew that he would have to take some time and deal with the situation that he was going through. He knew that if he stayed out in the desert for too long he could get some serious injury to his appendages because it got really cold at night. Using some of a cave as shelter took off some of his clones and washed them using water jutsu. He wanted to get the stains of blood and gore from what had happened earlier off of him because if he went into another village with it he knew that they would have several questions that Vapula would be hard pressed to answer. He would not have enough evidence to prove that he was not defending himself, and on top of that he had his original papers on him, meaning that in the eyes of the people in the village he was going into he had the intention to defect. He had no friends and no way to do anything while inside many villages. He was a missing ninja now. There was no denying that the affiliation that he once had with the sand village was gone because of what had happened earlier. By killing all the members of the caravan during the last mission and the amount of people that wanted him dead inside the city it was probably best that way. Thankfully the only things that he needed from the village were the blueprints to the puppets that he was making and the ryo to make them with. The blueprints he had with him on his person because of something like that. He knew from hearing what the ninja’s in the other room were saying about him that there could be a chance that his plan worked and the ninja of the village would not allow him back into the village. So right before the mission started Vapula made sure the pick up the blueprints that he needed and put them into his sack. Finding that the ninjas would also take a lot of the money from him if they ever got into his house he found that keeping all of his ryo on hand was the best way to make sure that he does not lose it, the village would not give it back to him because they hate him, and keeping it on hand was the best way to ensure that he would have it at all times. Even then if he was killed by another ninja he found that if they were strong enough to kill him that they should be able to take the ryo and the items that the other ninja held dear. So he often had everything that he wanted of value on hand.
As Vapula was cleaning off the clothes that he was wearing he felt the need to make a fire. Although he could not feel the cold in him it was still something that in his mind he was told to do. It seemed to be the first time since he woke from his coma that his mind told him to do something out of necessity. Instinct had taken over for him for the first time, it was huge for vapula’s progress, and he was Ok with the fact that his body told him to do so. If his body had not told his brain that it was cold, even though Vapula could not feel the pain of it, he could still die from the effects of it and he would end up just rotting in a cave for eternity for no reason at all. It had been awhile since Vapula had thought about death. It was happening all around and for some reason he was the center of it all. In the little time that he had between becoming a jounin of the village and his coma he found that he had killed at least 17 people. They had no real reason to die except for the fact that the Vapula was given the mission. Even when he was a genin he did not have kill the ninja he was told to do so. When was given the mission to deal with the crops lost from the farm he found that the three mist genin that were in the cave that were stealing the crop to survive did not have to die. They could have gone to the village and been questioned for what they did. They could have just told them what they had done and then gone to jail for a bit, after a few years in the correctional facility it could have been possible for these ninja to be converted into the sand village and they could have become some of the most powerful ninja that the village had. He could have done all of those things if he had spared their lives but instead he decided to kill them for the hell of it. Because he knew that they were not sand ninja he saw little significance for their lives at the time. Looking back would he have changed his actions during that time, the ninja were all less than ten years old, and they were only doing to survive. In his thoughts Vapula closed his eyes and begun to speak to himself, ending the topic and his opinion on the matter once and for all.
“Those three ninjas were traitors” Meaning that he did not care if they were part of the sand nation or the fire nation or any nation to begin with. All he wanted was for them to die for what they did against the people of the sand village, and no matter what they tried to say or do there was nothing that he could do to stop it. Vapula then began to think about the people that he killed for the sand who were in the organization that was trying to destroy the village. Now that he was going to be defecting from the village he began to wonder if that was worth it. Although that was not as black and white the answer was still definite because of the one thing that motivated him to do those things. All he wanted was money and nothing else. The money that he was getting from the missions was great and wonderful. Thousands of ryo per mission made each and every one of the missions worth it in Vapula’s mind. He knew that one day he wanted to replicate a jutsu that was amazing in his own mind. The ability the Sasori of the red sand had at his disposal was amazing and powerful. The ability for him to control one hundred puppets at a time by putting a compartment in his chest was amazing. And it was something that all ninjas could and should be able to stare in awe about from generations after he was dead. He was a great man and a great ninja of epic proportions and every puppet master should thrive to be like him. Upon thinking of the great puppet master Vapula begun to look at himself through on the hand mirrors that he had gotten to him for some reason.
[Flashback.]
As Vapula was working on his puppets alone in the dark one night he heard a knock on the door. Although he did not usually answer if they knocked he decided that since it was almost three thirty in the morning it should be something of some importance that they needed to talk to him about. He thought for a moment that the ninjas were coming to talk about his latest promotion to chuunin, thinking that the ninja would have better luck finding in the nights instead of the day they came at this late hour. When Vapula opened the door he found that there were no ninjas there to begin with. He at first thought that some local children had tried to be funny in front of each other. Although he may have only been a few years older than the boys that could have pranked him he still called them kids in his mind. He figured that he was more mature and had a better grasp on life than some boys who get their own selves or others stuck in trees or losing their favorite toy or action figure and crying about it to their rich moms and dads, or better yet they lose something that they could easily get back or something that should be impossible to lose. Vapula was not stupid like they were and if he had emotions he would have thought that he would have found the boys and killed them, or at least sent them all to the hospital with major wounds. Thankfully for the children of the sand village it was not boys trying to be funny rather it was a mailman that was really fast with doing is job. He was able to drop the package off and move on, and what was inside was a set of hand mirrors and some walkie talkie devices that he could use. He did not know who sent them or why they were given to him, but they were and Vapula was ok with that. He took all the items and threw them into his sack of items, having little care for the walkie talkies, and thinking of how useless the two mirrors wore.
[End Flashback] The mirrors showed his hair similar to his idol and his two black eyes staring back into him. His face was red from the blood spilling on him and motionless and emotionless because that it was it was. That is why while he was in the village he preferred to be alone. Many people though that his reasoning behind not smiling as sinister and evil and that maybe they thought he did not smile because of his parent’s death. He did not smile because of the poison and that was the only reason that matter, whether he wanted to smile or not was beyond the question, and instead of having to answer to people every single time he did not smile for a joke that they made or something funny that they did or upon finding out something amazing that they did he just did not talk to them at all. That was something that Vapula was yearning to find in somebody. He was hoping that one day he could meet somebody or a group of people and understood his feelings and his lack of emotions like he did. It was not that he could not live without the chance of meeting these people, it was that it would be nice, and it would be a group of people that he would find healthy to hang out with. Vapula Yi was not an emotionless person, he was a person who lacked the ability to control him or the pain that he was feeling, and with this lack of control it meant that he had some special abilities that others did not have. Instead of feeling pain or emotion he could get stabbed in the arm with a kunai and still be ok. He could be eaten alive by some cannibal for some reason or another and he could still be ok from it and go about his day. The only problem with it is that he cannot notice the effects of what hit him or what was going on in his body until it was too late. He always had to be on the lookout for something that could be going on with him and his surrounding because his body may not actually tell him these things. Although he did not know which was better he knew that he was stuck with the effects of the poison what were on him right now and there was nothing that he could do to change that. When the boy was just getting out of the hospital Vapula begun to realize just how much people were trying to get him to find the antidote of the poison. Even though his parents still died from the poison they had perfected it greatly and that meant that the sand village would still want to use it. Vapula still had the information on how the make the poison in his mind and even threw away and burned all other evidence that the poison had existed in the days after his wake. He thought about giving the village the formula on how to make and said that if they had decided to just not work on him and keep him strong when he was in the hospital then why should the Yi clan try to work and give things out the sand village to keep them strong. It was a selfish act and may have been part of the reason why he was wanted out of the sand village or at least the custody of the sand village to get the information out of him. Looking back it was the best thing to do for the village and he found that now if he wanted to he could develop his poison for himself or the new village in which he will take up residence.
As the night was about to turn into the sunrise Vapula begun to put all of his clothes back on after they dried and begun to walk again in the hot desert through the sands, along the way working on his training for his night vision and his wind element training. The village was good in one thing which was that they all had good ways of getting their students to learn the element and in the end that was easy for them to master. Although he was no longer part of the sand village he still had the skills that his former teachers had given him along the way. When he was not working on his puppets or tired for not sleeping he knew that the only thing that they could do to get better was to train his next best element. Wind was going to be good to have when he was using his puppets because he could make them faster and stronger than other ninja could even dream of. He knew that from his makings of puppets that no matter how hard you try the only way that you can be good with them is to have a fast and very well defined and high trained chakra and speed in accordance to other people. He remembered some his training and what he had done already to master the wind element prior to him defecting out of the village.
[Flashback]
Vapula knew little about the five great elements that we use. Some use them to show their dominance over other but Vapula would prefer to use the puppets he makes as his. He knew that his puppets shined over all others and he knew that one day he would become a puppet master. But with all the puppets he had if he wanted to learn an element there were things that he could do to accelerate his progress. In order to become a puppet master a person does not need to know all the elements rather they just really need to know what puppets they have and how to use them effectively. Most people forgo the ability to learn the element because it was a hassle to do the battle field. But not Vapula, he wanted to know everything about the elements and tried his best learn some of them. The element that was his original element was water but he had not really used it in battle or in his training. So he always thought that wind would be a good second element to have to help with his chakra threads and his puppets movements. As he begun to learn more of how the element worked and what he needed to do with it Vapula decided that he was going to go to the training grounds to learn it. It was the element of his village and the element of many people in all the villages and the nations so it could not have been too hard to learn. Vapula knew that a puppet master had to have a lot of chakra in order to control his puppets, so he knew that he had a lot of time to train with his techniques for wind. He first got to the training grounds early in the morning well before the sun came up. It was easy that way because then he would be able to train alone without the disruptions of others getting in his way, and then he could also work on his night vision training in the process as well. Although this was not the best use of his time because he would have been making better puppets it was something that he knew needed to be done. At first he tried to work on some of the techniques to infuse chakra of wind nature into objects such as kunai, if he could get the kunai to go through a rock without much physical exertion then he should be good. He learned from his readings that there were once great ninjas that had mastered how to use the wind element by picturing two blades going against each other to finely sharpen them. Although it was not the best vision for Vapula to have it was a vision nonetheless and he planned to get it done. If not then he would move and realize that he could never do the technique of the wind nature. But if he was making progress then he would continue to train for it. Although at first there was no progress done he found that after a few hours the rock that was throwing the kunai at was getting smaller and smaller. Slowing chipping away at it like it was something that did want to go but was being forced to. Training was boring and un imaginable in every way. It was the same thing over and over again every single day until you got it right and this was something, the idea and the procedure of training, the old Vapula despised most of all. He thought that he could handle I just for a few hours but that was not the case. His mind began to wonder about the things that he had to do and things that he has done. More importantly he bagun to think more about his father than anything, thinking about the things that he had told him those many years ago, and what he was going to tell him if the man was still alive to this day. Although he could just do the training now and did not have any feel for the like or dis like of it he knew that he had the emotion before and started to find things that his father had told him that he could remember to pass the time. As he was training he remembered some more things that his father wanted to tell him about his rank to Chuunin if he ever got to that rank and on training about the elements.
“You will always be a failure don’t ever question that. You were a failure when you first starting to cry when you were born. Why? Because we all are born a failure when we come to this world because we are nothing yet, we mean nothing, and we have done nothing. When you were born all you have been is a Burdon to us in many ways. We have had to pay for you and teach you things that no other person can. You have wasted our time in so many ways and have allowed us to fall behind on our work. You have done nothing to progress the sand village or the fire nation but what you have done well at is doing nothing important. Until the day that you walk out of that academy as a genin ninja of the sand you are not doing anything to protect the village of give your family honor and more importantly yourself honor in this village. Once you finally get to the rank of chuunin in when you can start paying us back for the hardship that you have given us. Once you have done that you can give the money that you would use of things that don’t matter and do it for us. The people that kept you alive all those years and kept you fed and well, once you have paid us back you can begin to work on yourself and leaving behind your legacy on the sand village. Chuunin of the village are prided in their ability to be strong and powerful in almost any circumstance at all. When the village is under siege it is not the high ranking jounin or the low ranking genin that take control of the situation. It is the chuunin that do all the work, and when it is your time to become a sand ninja chuunin you will find that there is a lot more money in becoming a chuunin than there is in becoming a jounin. Think of the Jounin and the leaders of the village as sort of the brains of the operation, and the chuunin are the workers, the body of the village, and they are the true warriors.”
As he was working on his element training he found that the rock that he was using as a tool to help his training had been destroyed and it had almost become sunrise. It was as though he took a lot of time to work on his training and not on anything else today. Vapula decided to go home and work on his puppets for a bit more before crashing into his bed of exhaustion.
When training with the wind element he knew that he could not just work without the wind but if he was able to manipulate the wind during the day when it was the strongest he could have his own chakra infused wind as well. All of this meant that he had amazing ability to work with his element on the road. The next day as he was walking to Volcano he found a small place that he could train for a bit. It was not what Vapula wanted to do for his time, but he knew that the best way for him to get into another village was to show just how powerful he could be. As he was setting up his camp in the area he saw that this was going to be a perfect place to train. He had a lot of rocks that he could use for his element training He decided to take about a week and learn the art of the wind element by taking a few boulders that were around him. But for now he was tired and he needed to take a break from his training. He crashed in his makeshift and slept the worries of the past few days away.

Vapula was wondering through the sands of the desert looking for way to do some more training. It had been a few weeks since Vapula had left the sand village and went on his own path and since then he was able to get the materials that he needed to make a new puppet. The puppet was amazing. It was truly a work of art that should be marveled at for generations to come. Vapula knew that his puppet was going to be that just because it looked that amazing. Vapula wondered through the desert and in the forest with his new puppet. Using its techniques and making it his own. Vapula knew that in order for somebody to truly understand how to use a puppet they must also know what it means to work with them. For many people who go up against and fail against a puppet master they do so because they have never had the thrill of using a puppet like that before. Vapula remembered something that his father said about battle strategy using the puppets that Vapula would be destined to make in the future. Although he was not the most liked person in the village nor was he somebody that people wanted to like he still was an amazing strategist. He used his mind not only for the benefit of the Yi clan and his own personal gain, but in times of struggle he used his mind to propel the sand village from the worst situations to coming out on top. Vapula remembered something that happened earlier in the history of the sand. During a time when missing ninja were running amok around the village and its parameters there was a legitimate threat that that sand village and the Kazekage were going to be destroyed. In a battle when the sand village was on its last legs and was almost destroyed Vapula’s father came to the aid of the village and used his mind to use the limited shinobi that the sand hand to destroy the more organized and powerful missing ninja. Although he was considered a hero to most people’s eyes outside of the village he was still hated inside of the village. It was interesting to know that the city that he saved hated him for what he did. As Vapula was going through the sands he decided that he would work on the training of his new specialty later and begin working on his summoning technique. HE used found a way to put two puppets in one scroll. This ability is extremely powerful, making it really easy for Vapula to carry the scrolls around for his puppets, especially with the idea that he could possible make a technique that used about 100 puppets. As Vapula was in the camp that he made Vapula was finally able to seal both of his puppets into the scroll he used for the dispenser. Vapula was happy with the results that occurred with this and went to sleep, ready to go to bed and train for his medical specialty tomorrow.

It was work to learn a new specialty. There were so many thing that a ninja could learn in their lifetime, including learning how to master the art of ninjutsu’s, possibly using physical attacks to destroy an opponent as in taijutsu, or possibly use illusions to your advantage and use that to your advantage, as such was the case in genjutsu. All of these techniques could be used in some way or another but Vapula decided early on in life that he was going to become a great puppet master and worked to use all of his time and energy to become one, but he also enjoyed reading some the great puppet masters that were a part of history during the great time of the nation’s, when puppet masters were once a relevant part of a ninja group and village, and not just some person few and far between. He often read up on the important historical figures, especially the puppet masters, of the sand village. There were two ninjas that he had a part in reading, the first was Kankuro who was the son of the fourth Kazekage. He was amazing with puppets and created several machines that proved that he was the most important member of the puppet core for the sand village at the time. The other puppet master that Vapula took an appreciation two was the ninja that was known as sasori of the red sand because of his ability to control 100 puppets, it was amazing to know that he could do such a thing and Vapula wanted to do it. Something that Vapula hated to do was work for the training that he had to do. It had been a few weeks since Vapula had left the sand village. He had a lot of time alone to think about what it was that he did and the people that were responsible for it. To think about it the people of the sand had no respect and should have no problem with the boy but they did for the things that his father had done. Vapula would if he was any other person be hateful about this and learning what it is that happened and why it did the way that it did, to Vapula there was nothing that he could do about it and he did not care, and he was unhindered in his quest to get to the volcano village at all. He knew that his past was gone and his village that he once called home had abandoned him. The volcano village was the first place that he was going to go to, learning that it was still part of the fire nation he should be welcome to the village completely, and he knew that he was going to enjoy the opportunity for him to join the village. He found that the village was leading the way in the development of the human body and how it works, meaning that he could possibly find a way to get human bodies to study on, and make poisons that would lead the Volcano into the next great village in the world. Vapula remembered some things that his parents had said to him about the other villages of the fire nation, his father a great strategist and knew everything about these villages. He was a genius and it was something that was a great asset to the sand village, but still the village people hated him, but before he died Vapula heard a lot of what his father knew about the village.
“The Sand village is not the strongest village in the fire nation, although we are strong and powerful, but we are still not the strongest. Most of the power of the fire nation comes from the leaf village and all the resources that it has. It is clearly hidden in the leaves with several trails and paths that lead away from the main complex, but only to be dead ends that the ninjas of the leaf put there for protection. Only a few special people outside of the fire nation know about the paths to the leaf. Many of the sand village ninja are strong, specializing in the wind element and using their environment to their advantage, but the ninja of the leaf have several clans and people that use the fire element. That is one of the reasons as to why we have not become our own nation, but that is not the only reason. With our two great nations combined there is no way that the two can be defeated, even the great sky nation could not take the two villages, without the help of the other minor villages. The other minor villages, the ones that I am talking about, are the volcano village, the tornado village, the igloo village, and the underwater village, the four great ninja villages of the fire nation but do not have a kage currently. The underwater village is not as important as the other villages I am talking about because all that it is just a site that many use to do their spiritual deeds to the leaders of the past. Many of the old villages are gone now but you can still go the underwater village to learn about the past and see it through the readings that are there. The people of that village are kind to the fire nation and the Yi clan, although there are not many there to begin with. In your travels you should go the underwater village at some time in your life to learn about the past and possibly find the location of the great puppets that were once there. The igloo is cold but powerful in the right that its people come out study and cold to the dangers of the world. They know little about what it means to be comfortable, and you should take some time in your life to go there if you have the chance. You will find that village to be one of great importance to your puppet making, even I have gone there, and the village leaders should know your name and let you in no matter what the other ninjas of other villages think. As long as the Yi clan and the fire nation have the Igloo village, you can consider it your second home, only so that you can train and become powerful. The Tornado village is not as strong but it poses a threat to the people that try to attack it. In many cases the tornado village would then be final defense of some of the great ninjas and leaders that we need to protect because of the wind barriers that are around the village protecting it. Even the people that are part of the village do not feel the need to be threatened by other people because the great tornado that surround the village give it the ultimate defense, and with the help of sand ninja it could become an impenetrable fortress, using the wind to their advantage of course. The volcano village is much different than the other villages, it is strong and the people there are loyal to the fire nation, but they are different. Their leader may be loyal to the leaf village and the fire nation but the people of the village are also odd indeed. Although that may be the case they are one of the best people to go to if you want to learn more about the human body. You think that you may know everything about it from the books that you read but due to the restrictions that we have against using human subjects the people of the village here cannot be used to further our poisons, but that is not the case in the volcano village. Even though you are not the case about that, as a failure and our son you should know that until you become somebody of great power you will be our little test subject. You should go there one day to learn more and further our clan to become even greater, using their less than par ideal to the max, and become the best puppet masters in the world. “
Vapula remembered but also remembered the warning that he was told about the volcano village, he needs to prove his worth and give the village something to go off of to show that he can use them and they can use him. He began to train with the specialty of becoming a medical ninja at a young age due to the scars that he would get outside of battle but inside of his parents lab. His parents used him as a test experiment sometimes and he had to use medical ninjutsu to make sure that he could stay alive sometimes. But in other cases it gave him the means to master it fairly easily when he was out of the village and wanted to train it as something that he used in battle and to further his body into something more. Vapula went to a nearby location and found a way that he could outlet his training and become an even better medical ninja. Although he may have left the sand village in pursuit of other things Vapula still wanted to make sure that the fire nation would be safe from attack and the peoples inside of it could still use Vapula to their advantage. Vapula saw on the road to volcano a few people that had just been in an accident with a wagon on their way out of the volcano village. Their wagon had broke and the people had a young man that had been impaled by some wood. The wagon was poorly made and everything that was inside of it looked beaten and broken. Vapula ran over to the scene and pushed away the mother and father of the boy. The boy was screaming in pain and it became much worse when Vapula took the wood out of his leg. The parents were screaming, pleading for him not to do this, but when they tried to get close Vapula would show them his sand ninja headband, a symbol that he was still part of the fire nation and his friend. Using basic medical ninjutsu the boy passed out a few minutes later and the sand ninja went to work on the floor to destroy the debris that was inside and to get the wound healed. The surgery took about 7 hour to complete, seeing as though they could only go so fast to begin with, and then when it was finally dark Vapula was able to use his night vision to see the fine details of the boy and heal him. Using some of the cloth that the people had as a bandage the wound was put to rest and with some rehabilitation the boy would be fine and in about a month would be able to normally move. The people thanked the sand ninja for his work and asked if the people where they were going. They said that they were going to go to the sand village to get away from the volcano village. When he heard that Vapula did not speak another word to them and went on his way to the volcano village, the people began screaming again at the sand ninja, who stopped to hear what they had to say. They told him that the place was a piece of hell that was going to destroy him and any person that walked inside of its doors. Their leader is horrible and disgusting but not stupid, he is crazy and will do anything to feed on people. Vapula simply nodded and went on his way some more. Vapula walked up to the gates of the Volcano village with all of his supplies in hand, his destination had been completed and his journey to hell a success.
