Mind's Eye [solo training]

It was a bright morning in Suna, which meant that the sun would be extra hot. As a result, the sand outside was quite scalding. Kozai went out, grumbling about this. He needed to practice his jutsu, but how would he do so when distracted by the warmth… no, by the intense heat? Egh, he would have to find somewhere nice and cool to train. He looked around, and found a thermodynamically protected building. This worked by the way of using polymerized material in the walls to absorb much of the heat out of the interior. This made for both a scientific and comfortable environment, at least for Kozai.


He went into the building and had a look around. When he went in, he saw that the building was spherical, with lighting like a warehouse. It had several floors, which were connected by stairs and elevators/lifts. The floors themselves had water ponds and waterfalls on the side. This meant that he would be having some fun times with the water today, but that wasn’t really what he was after. There were gaps in each of the floors, which would be useful to him. He started to wallrun at the bottom, he started to run spiraling around the building wall. He went through each of the gaps up to the next floor as the sphere widened to its equator, making for a tough workout.
When he got to the top, he stopped to catch his breath. Now, these spheres were perfect for gravity-defying feats of wall-running. He stood in the middle of the room and channeled his chakra as far as he could, drawing the water in the building towards him. He tried freezing water into various shapes, such as shuriken, kunai, and senbon. After a while, he got bored and created ice dummies that he proceeded to attack. He created them in various positions, and then body flickered and wall-ran around, destroying them. Hmph, he was getting better at this. Sooner or later, he would be able to condense water from thin air, he could feel it.
He leaned against the wall again, catching his breath. He could feel Evil Kozai’s (or whatever his real name was) approval inside. The feeling was oddly good, which bothered him. Then again, it didn’t benefit anyone to be lazy. He drew more water up and began to test the limits of his strength, striking an ever-thickening ice tablet until it ceased to crack. Now, there was real training. He found that he wasn’t as physically strong as he thought he was, but he would be strong enough for the challenges to come, he hoped. Now, what would he do? Wasting chakra on demonic ice mirrors was just not his style. He decided to train up his ice some more, seeing how far he could go with design. He tried making the impossible shapes that he had seen in geometry textbooks some 10 years ago. Of course, he failed in creating those; no surprise there.
He created various shapes that he thought would be useful in combat; such as sharp ice spears that would fall upon opponents from above, spinning blades that would slice through any normal man, and small spheres that he would scatter to make opponents fall. All of these were tactically useful indeed, but that was pretty much all his ice was useful for. Other than, of course, as a dessert precursor. He looked out of a sliding panel in the wall, and gazed out on the scene of Suna below. It was actually more busy than he thought while he lived in Iwa, which meant he probably needed to travel more. He would definitely get that chance in the days to come, of course.
Kozai went down to the first floor and sat down. He played around with the water until his evil side started to struggle against the now trained mental bonds that held him back. Eventually, he lost and evil took over Kozai’s face, contorting his features and making him look deranged. “Well, I’m back, thanks to your idle ways.” He went down to the center of the room and crouched down. He would then activate his new sensory jutsu, Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.
With this jutsu, he could see chakra! And not just chakra either, but different colors in chakra! Now, that was truly interesting. He could see Near’s chakra and that missing-nin’s chakra in the city as well. Now, both tactically and strategically, this would come in handy in the future. He searched for various colors of chakra, familiarizing himself with them, and also with different strengths of chakra. Hmm… the only disadvantage of this jutsu was that at this point, he couldn’t move while he was using it. Hopefully, later on, he would somehow learn to be able to. Hmmm… what was this? A rogue shinobi or some foreign ninja was coming in with strong chakra from outside the city. Kozai tracked him.
As Kozai tracked the missing ninja, he noticed that the missing-nin was heading towards his location. Maybe he too was looking for a cool place to hide and seek respite. Regardless, he would kill him just for the kick of it, and to see if he had any money on him. The man stumbled in, and Kozai noticed that he had no armament whatsoever, so he sent several ice spears at the man, penetrating him in the chest and killing him instantly. However, he had nothing on him, how disappointing.

Kozai then picked himself back up and headed back to his quarters. Back there, he used his sensory jutsu again to keep tabs on everything and everyone. This was a most useful jutsu indeed, and he was glad he had it. This would prevent him from being surprise buttsexed in the desert. Although that hadn’t happened on his way here, it very well could have. Kozai then got up, took a shower and had a nap. Then, he kept spying on people’s chakra with his jutsu. All in all, it had been a happy day.

The young Kazekage after speaking with his friend Xuro deiced to cool off in the villages special spring, although on his way there however he spots a ninja he has never seen before entering it, viewing this as odd since he knows every ninja within his walls, Koroshi decides to look into the matter and sinks into the ground, using his god of earth technique, fusing with the earth, allowing him to hopefully follow the ninja in side without being detected. Once the two are inside and the ninja is distracted by looking at the beautiful springs, and elevators leading up to higher floors, Koroshi moves in front of the ninja to get a look at his headband, Koroshi being able to do this by only making his eyes form out of the ground 20 feet in front of the unknown shinobi, when he does this he realizes that he is from the village hidden in the rocks, this making all kinds of thoughts flow into Koroshi's mind "How did he get in here? what business does he have being in the village? and why didn't he go to his office to state that he was there?" Although these thoughts are put on hold when he views the ninja begin to run toward him, and the wall, Koroshi figuring that he was discovered decides to take action, using his god of earth technique to quickly form his body in front of the man,  in an attempt to stop him from getting away.

As Kozai began another dash at the wall, he noticed a truly massive chakra zooming through it. Well, what a surprise. As it started to rush quickly up the wall, Kozai would jump off of it, landing squarely on the floor. This chakra was massive indeed, one of massive size. It even dwarfed Near's, which meant.... which meant this man was most probably the Kazekage. Apparently, he was able to meld with the earth, which meant that Kozai was in trouble, since he couldn't fly. His good side took over from here, although his evil side continued to influence his actions to a point, tainting his words and actions with avarice and ambition. "Well, the kazekage, I presume, it's an honor. I am Kozai of Iwagakure. I assume you want to know why I'm in this random building of all places?" Kozai smiled, darkness flowing through his mind. Although his good side was there to make him look somewhat sane, his evil side determined his actions and words. Kozai was concerned, however, because the earth chakra nature was strong against water. If Koroshi attacked, Kozai would be wiped out. Hopefully, with tact and care, that would not have to happen.

Viewing the ninja jump off the wall and land 15 feet away from him, Koroshi gets the hint that his cover is blown, and decides to form his body from the ground, his massive form casting a gigantic shadow over the man, upon father exception Kozai would see that Koroshi is standing at a massive 7 feet tall, and is wearing a Kazekage hat upon his head, with some dust on the sides of it, if Kozai continues to speak Koroshi listens to his words very carefully, while flowing his chakra into the ground, and begins to feel the boys heart beat, looking to see if the boy is lying, which would cause his heart to beat faster then normal, Koroshi accomplishing this using his earth sensory "That and some other things, like why you are even in this village? are there more of you? and who sent you here?" When Koroshi speaks his voice not filled with his usually happy and child like tone, but in stead is replaced by a more cold and serious tone, for he doesn't know this man's motives, and after what happened to Nero, he isn't gonna give anyone the chance to harm anyone from his village.

Kozai heard Koroshi's question, and noticed his chakra fill the earth. It didn't make sense that Koroshi would be making an offensive move already, as Kozai had said nothing to offend the Kazekage. However, at this point, Kozai knew that Koroshi's strength lay in the earth, which meant that....

"Oh, long story short, I got lost with my leader, we hopped on a cabbage cart and somehow got over here. The reason I'm here, specifically, is because my leader requested that I 'explore Sunagakure'. Other than my leader, there is one other, a cabbage selling wandering ninja. I'm not sure what his name is, but I can describe him, if you like. As to who sent me, well, I believe my previous statements have already answered that."

Being slower than Koroshi, he would not be able to dodge much if Koroshi attacked. However, he would keep on watch for anything. If something happened, he had a pseudo-strategy to at least survive for more than 10 seconds.

After hearing Kozai's reply Koroshi tries to figure out why a shinobi from the rock village, would want this man to "Explore Suna" could he be trying to test their defenses? or maybe find out how many ninja we have? These thoughts flow into his mind, although it is too early to jump to conclusions, so he begins to speak again, trying to find out more about them, so he can better understand the situation. "You said you got lost right? Well where were the two of you heading before that? Also, who is your leader? and where is he now?"

Kozai smiled in a genuinely friendly manner. The chance to socialize didn't come often in Iwa. "Well, I'm going to tell you the longer story. My leader, Near, and I were training a bit outside of the village. We hurt each other physically (and maybe mentally as well), and started to head back, but got lost. The way we were going, we were heading toward the East, but he never specified our exact location until we came across that cabbage-ninja I told you about before. He then said we were heading here before moving on to Ame, where I can only assume he is now, he wouldn't be one to wait for me. " All this would obviously be the truth, since, well, it was. Kozai was now slightly more at ease, because he was actually having a serious conversation with someone. However, he would still be on guard for any sudden or unwarranted attacks.

Koroshi again listens to the man's words very carefully, using his doton sensory to monitor his heart beat, which strangely enough is more calm and easily, despite Koroshi thinking that the man is lying due to the simple fact that a Ninja should know their way home. So for them to get lost on the way seems a bit odd, also what does Ame have to do with any of this? Why is he visiting all these places instead of trying to find his way home? All of this is looking very strange, the fact that this man is so calm in telling him all of this can ether mean that he is skilled in lying, or that he might be under a form of genjutsu, ether way Koroshi still needs to find out more information before taking action. "So your leader is the kind of person that will leave his fellow ninja at the drop of a hat? If so, why would you follow such a person?

Kozai would have laughed if he wasn't in such a pressured position. He wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, so he could located Near and the cabbage-nin. "He's not called 'the arrogant' for no reason. The reason I follow him is because he is powerful; are things so different in Suna? Well, I guess its true what they say about travel, your cultural knowledge increases." Of course, none of this was a lie either.
