Off the beaten track [NK, Private]

Masayoshi yawned, trudging up the mountains never failed to wake him up in the morning and the fresh air would do him some good - having been cooped up in the academy for what felt like years. He loved venturing into the wild, he felt safe, more at home, when he was outside the village... It didn't take him long before he reached a familiar copse of trees that spread out across the plateau of one of the smaller inclines. With a smile he pushed his way through the brushes that plagued the area until he stumbled upon a clearing in the treeline, without a second thought, he fell forwards - face first into the grass. The slick layer of dew resting atop the grass was nice and refreshing against the harsh sun that bore down upon him and forcing him to draw on all his will power to sit upright. Moments passed, but he sat in silence, relishing in the sun and the nature that surrounded him. After a couple of moments, he brought out his lunch and unpacked the contents, ready to tuck in.

Aoba was lost. The boy was quite confused at the moment, seeing how he was sure he'd only left the village about five minutes ago. Then again he never was that good at telling the time. He recalled wandering off into the mountains at some point, though now he found himself surrounded by trees. This is what happened when the young boy didn't pay attention. He was wearing a baggy red hoody, with a white scarf wrapped around his neck. The scarf itself had the symbol of Kumogakure running along it acting as a replacement for having a collar that gave his name, address and the phone number for his parents. Of course he was not a dog, that is why he wore the scarf. Despite being wrapped in such warm clothing he was quite cold, perhaps due to the fact he was wearing shorts. In hindsight it was a rather foolish decision to wear shorts and then venture off into the mountains, but Aoba had been too caught up in the moment. The boy continued to wander around for a few more minutes before he came across a clearing. His blue eyes widened as he gazed upon something magnificent, a human! His first contact with another living being in about an hour, how relived he felt at that moment in time. "Hello!" The boy called out to the other male who seemed to have a packed lunch with him. That was good, because Aoba was starving.

Masayoshi smiled happily to himself, his lunch spread out on a small cloth before him. He rubbed his hands and clapped ecstatically, the lunch contained many of his favourite things, except... He shuddered, he could smell it, the pungent aroma of what he liked to call 'green slime' spread all over his sandwiches; his train of thought was lost as he became aware of a presence stepping into the clearing. Immediately his head swiveled and focused on the stranger, his wide eyes shifting across Aoba sizing the boy up, before smiling. He nodded in return to the boy, smiling spreading further across his face. "Hi, hi!" He paused, eyes shifting to the boys neck. "Do you want to trade scarves? Yours looks nicer than mine" He gestured to a small red scarf hanging loosely about his neck. Pausing once more. Masayoshi glanced behind him and back at the boy an idea already forming in his mind... "Do you want a sandwich? I don't like the filling it's green and smelly!" Tilting his head he glanced curiously at the boy... He felt like he was forgetting something... After a few moments his mouth fell open, he'd forgotten to introduce himself - again! " Hello I am Senju, Masayoshi " He bowed slowly, sitting down made the attempt awkward and clumsy, but it was good enough for him. " What's your name? " Rising back up halfway through his speech he kept his gaze fixated on the boy.
