Solo training (mud spore) [private]

Returning to the cave later Angel decided to try going for a swim.  Using a couple of earth style techniques Angel formed the underground pool to make sure there were no hidden currents or drop-offs.  This way she could enjoy the pool as she wanted.  She decided to form the rest of the cavern to her liking to better profit during her training.  Once that was done she slipped into the cool water.  It felt good as she swam in circles around the lake.  It had been so terribly lonely since her mother passed.  She had been working her butt off to just forget the pain.  But it was paying off she was becoming noticeably stronger and was mastering jutsu left and right.  She was going to be the very best ninja in the world.  She broke the surface for air.  Returning to the shore she began to get ready for another day of training.  Today she was going to work on a new chakra form.  It would be terribly hard.  For this chakra form she would have to throw out her old concepts of solid chakra.  She was going to practice the Mud Style, an offshoot of Earth style in which the user softens the earth instead of hardening it.  This is done by instead of pulverizing the chakra in the core muscles it is chewed in the mouth like gum.  This make the earth chakra have a certain flow like water chakra does.  Angel had yet to learn any real Water based jutsu but she assumed it would be much like this when forming the water chakra nature for jutsu.  For hours she just mixed her chakra to get an instinctual feel for it.   If she wasn’t able to do it at a moment’s notice the jutsu was not useful in battle.  Battles can be brutal.  If she was not carefull she could be killed.  As she mixed the chakra form she thought back to her battle with  Alice the girl from the shadows.  Most ninja pride themselves on their ability to blend in and disappear,  but this girl was in a class of her own.  She could slip into her own shadow and even use jutsu while inside the shadow.  The darkness in the girls eyes…it was as if the eyes held no life at all.  But in that instance she had only been sparring and yet Alice had almost killed her several times.  The girl’s bloodlust was probably not even as blood thirsty as some of the enemies Angel would fight in her future.  She shuddered as she thought.  Angel would have to greatly increase her game from here out.  She didn’t have the time to waste in the hospital healing from injuries that she acquired while being fool hardy.  She would spend her time studying jutsu and becoming accustomed with fighting styles and learn what is known of the rogue ninja in the bingo books.  Angel would not rest.  She no longer needed to protect herself for the sake of her mother.  Days of training without end and short nights were all Angel needed now.
Angel studied the Mud chakra form in detail especially the mud spore jutsu.  This was the jutsu she was planning on learning today.  Forming the hand seals several times she worked on her speed it was something that needed to be mastered if she wanted to use the jutsu effectively.  Forming the Hand seals one more time Angel molded the chakra as well, executing the jutsu.  The jutsu was shaky but the mud sprayed out coating the ground.  The purpose of the jutsu was to stick the opponent in the sticky mud slowing their ability to advance or proceed.  This could also be used in a variety of other ways.  As the chakra spews out the earth, that earth can then be used to perform other jutsu.  It was Ideal for battles in terrain where there just wasn’t any earth for an Earth style Ninja to use.  She didn’t want to get caught in the open again. 
 
“Their over here,” Angel was on her first solo mission and she had been asked to retrieve a simple scroll from a traveling bandit group who disguised themselves to gain entrance to the villages that they rob.  Unfortunately Angel hadn’t caught up to them on the road but while they were in a town resting at the inn.  Angel was discovered and the small inn corridors weren’t large enough accommodate puppet style jutsu and back then she knew very few other jutsu.  Being in the Inn she was cut off from her earth style jutsu and she had to rely on her skills with a blade and Taijutsu as opposed to what she knew she was good at.  She had been injured in that mission because she wasn’t prepared.  Luckily the mission was still a success and she only suffered minor wounds.  But if her opponent would have had any type of skills as opposed to being just a band of thugs she might have been killed.  She needed to be more prepared.  The more jutsu she knew the better off she would be in a situations.  She would be able to adapt to senarios better and may even be able to claim victory from stronger opponents.  That was what she truly wanted.  If she was able to be strong enough to win any battle that faced her…then she would be strong enough to leave the village and track down down her father or at least some hints as to where he might be.  It was going to be a long road and she was young enough to see it to the end.  But she needed to be smart enough to make it to the end.  That’s where the jutsu came into play.  Not just the jutsu for what it was but for the jutsu what it stood for.  Jutsu was knowledge.  And angel wanted to learn every jutsu that way she would be smarter and more experienced.
 
The Jutsu seemed to go over very mediocre.  Angel had to practice more.  The mud flow wasn’t very fast nor did it stick like it needed to.  Angel needed the mud to slow or prevent movement.  As it was it didn’t stick as much.  Angel needed the mud to be powerful deterrent as it was it was a powerful waste.  The mud though by itself seemed dry.  Angle formed a trench from the lake down her training field.  In the future this trench would supply her with quick access to water for her water style jutsu.  At the end of the trench she made a small pool.  It was also preparation for later.  With her area set up more to her liking she began again.  She would continue working till she was able to get the jutsu right.  She recalled her first Jutsu she had learned.  The transformation jutsu had been extremely hard to pull off.  When she was a student everything that came naturally to her now was so very difficult.  But she had learned to master the transformation jutsu and she would learn to master this jutsu to.  She just had to focus.  Angel decided it was time to go back to basics.  She had spent so much time recently increasing her skills and becoming everyday more advanced in her techniques.  But she had neglected her basics.  Sitting down Angel focused on building her chakra.  It built easily like she was used to but she focused more on the building and how the chakra affected her body.  She ignored most of the minute things that her body did but maybe there was a way to optimize her chakra control.  She noticed her body temperature rising as she focused her chakra.  It wasn’t much but it was something that she hadn’t noticed before.  If she was to reduce that then more energy would go toward her chakra.  Forcing the temperature of her body to lower Angel drew the heat back into her chakra surprised at the difference it made.  She felt more powerful.  The next thing she would work on more was the speed of her hand signs.  It was something she would have to practice every day.  Missing a hand sign or screwing it up could cause her to lose a fight and ultimately her life.  Angel was definitely good at hand signs never really had trouble with them but that’s because she knew how important they were.  Angel practiced EVERYDAY to make sure her hand seals were perfect.  So once she had finished her practice she decided it was time to try again.  Standing up, her body seemed a little lighter with the increase in her chakra control.  It was odd.  She had always thought of herself as an amazing ninja when it came to chakra control but as she just found out was nothing but a joke.  Angel sighed she really was too hard on herself. 
 
Forming the hands seals Angel performed the jutsu once again.  This time it was much stickier but was flowing even slower than before.  Angel was sure this was the best that this jutsu was going to get.  She used the jutsu again and received the same results.  It was fairly simple.  The mud flowed out from her feet and created a river of mud in front of her being 5 meters wide and 10 meters long.  Near the end of the 10 meters angel noticed something weird about the jutsu.  It reacted with the water from the trench in a peculiar way.  Once the jutsu hit the water it flowed out quicker.  When the jutsu was complete Angel inspected the mud flow closely at the point where the jutsu had intersected the water trench.  It seemed that what the Mud needed was water to increase its speed and the strength of the stickiness of the mud.  It was the perfect combination.  Angel stood and performed the jutsu once more this time aiming down the water trench.  The jutsu seemed to suck up the water and mix it with the jutsu.  It was probably because the water chakra style of mixing and the way to mix water chakra was very similar.  The jutsu moved swiftly coating the ground with the mud Angel was happy with the jutsu.  When the time limit of the jutsu expired the mud lost the stickiness to it and became just simple dirt.  Luckily though that meant the dirt would be left over.  This meant that Angel would be able to use it for other Earth style jutsu’s and she wouldn’t run into the problem of being in a place without Earth.  Angel flexed and twisted looks like she had finished for the day.  Time to master the jutsu now.  molding the jutsu quickly she quickly formed the hands seals and fired of the jutsu.  Leaping far to the right she landed already forming the signs again.  Firing off the jutsu once more.   Doing a round of and leaping over the first flow she used the jutsu once more towards the other two intersecting both.  She then focused her cakra into the solid stone chakra and summoned a mighty earth wall out of the by byproduct of the three forming a solid wall.  Striking the wall she made sure that it was solid.  She was impressed by the versatility of her new jutsu and she was simply happy that it worked.  Another jutsu mastered and under her belt was always a good thing.  She guessed since she was so dirty she might as well take another dip and then head up to yaju’s house to wind down for the day she had done well.  Slipping into the cool water she was curious what her master would say when she told him that she had mastered yet another jutsu.  The water was cool as she swam in circles.  She decided the next jutsu would be a water jutsu.  Earth style came naturally to her but if she focused on earth style jutsus it might be enough to know a few water styles to surprise the enemy.
