In kumo

Finally I saw it. Kumogakure was in front of me standing tall looking menacing. I walked out of the forestt and started walking toowards the gates. I activated my Golden Eye awaiting an attack.

Patrol duty wasn't exactly Akihana's forte but it was a job and it needed to be done and Akihana, being a wielder of a dojutsu, was among the first pick of genin who could look ahead and scout the outskirts of the village gate to report back to the commanders in charge. Most days it was dull work, punctuated by waves sent to and forth between her own villagers and travelers who approached Kumo on business with various documents certifying their journey. It was a nice way to met people too, the blonde had to admit.

And then there were days like today, when someone she didn't recognize and who wasn't in possession of a Cloud headband or foreign escort made his way to the looming gates. Tensing, the medic nin activated her bloodline limit, trying to see through the shapes of things that weren't there, trying to asses if the approaching body had any weapons concealed within his person.

"Who goes there," she called out, giving the stranger fair warning as she leapt down from her post atop the wall where she'd been perched, her long blonde hair flying behind her as she landed on her feet with a hand ready towards the concrete ground in case she needed to summon someone better equipped to deal with dangerous rouges. The young woman still wasn't sure if this stranger was dangerous for her glowing eyes did not detect hidden weapons, but being on guard always was the sign of a good shinobi.

"Are you aware you are close to the Village Hidden in the Clouds? Please state your name and purpose before we let you enter."

He heard the girl call out who is there . When he heard it he tensed. " I've come to find a teacher I am aware what lies in front of me. I raised my hands in case whoever it was attacked. I continued walking towards the gate ready for an battle.

"Then you should also be aware that we do not simply let strangers into our home," the blonde replied, already concentrating on the surge of chakra building through her body. When her words seem to have no affect on the boy, Akihana moved in front of him, her speed though nothing brlliant was at least enough to move in front of the approaching stranger and stand directly between him and the village gates, her golden eyes tinted and hands ready to attack in case her warning didn't get through.

"Last chance," she called out, reaching for a kunai and spinning the blade on her ring finger more as an attempt to show she was armed than to actually threaten him. It was no secret the genin didn't like fighting. But she'd be damned if she let a potential threat enter her village.

With calculated precision, the young woman threw the kunai, aiming for a non lethal area of his body, the flesh above his knee.

I heard the voice again " Then you should also be aware that we do not allow strangers into our home". A girl appeared in front of me trying to stab a kunai at my knee. I grabbed the kunai before it hit me ." I just want to train I said.

Grabbing the kunai was not something the Kunoichi had expected, namely because she had tossed it fast and with precision, and because the ninja would hurt only himself by mishandling a kunai which could only be safely gripped by the ring it was attached to. As he mentioned he needed training, Akihana couldn't help but silently agree. And the first thing on this boy's agenda should be to learn how to hold a kunai.

"I understand but we cannot let an untrained, rogue nin into our village," she replied, dropping into a battle stance in front of him. "Please return with some kind of official papers, I have more kunai and you have enough blood to cover the ground you stand on."

To show she wasn't joking around, this time Akihana extracted a single shuriken, holding it high for him to see clearly. The kunoichi waited a few seconds, making sure she had his attention. "You're trespassing and I have orders to deal with people like you. Orders I will carry out if you force me to." With that, she let the shuriken fly straight towards his head with a surge of chakra infusing her strength and speed. If it made its mark, the shuriken would take out his left ear.

The only words I heard were untrained,rogue,trespassing and force. Then I felt it a shurikan hit my left ear taking it off. I screamed in pain. Red started feeling my eyes the lust for the girl's blood was the only thing I thought about. I ran towards her with my speed form my golden eye appearing right in front of her. Even though I had my ear cut off I stilled had enough blood lust to say " Boom " while stabbing her with the kunai dmfast as I could

The small whoop of joy barely escaped the kunoichi as the first shuriken found its mark, the opposing ninja did nothing to defend against it which mean that her actual aim, the Shadow Shurken Jutsu, had been executed flawlessly. This was the first time the blonde had ever used her newly acquired jutsu in an active battle and just to see her enemy not only not bother to defend against the first shuriken which she ahd made very obvious by raising it high above ground but to also take the second shuriken in it's shadow was... invigorating. She had managed to trick someone, and not just in a training session but something that resembled an actual threat.

With two punctures to his body bleeding profusely because of his own ignorance, the young man seemed to be going insane if his grunts and shrieks were anything to go by. Using her own kunai that he had taken earlier - since she did not see him raw any weapons of his own and her Golden Eye could detect no concealed shapes on his form - the boy lunged at her and for a moment, Akihana felt pity. She new what it must feel like to lose everything, the feeling that would launch someone into such a desperate move. She almost wanted to heal him and march him away from the village, but now was no time to get soft.

For hurt and confused he might be but he was coming at her with a weapon and she had a lot to live for.

Using his slow nd confused state against him, the blodne stepped tot he side, easily dodging his attack withe rh superior speed, a second kunai already ready at her fingers as she now appeared behind him, surveying ehr handiwork in the patterns of blood rushing out of his ear and down his face.

"Good night, darling," she whispered softly beside his ruined ear, unsure if he could even hear her or not. It was the same thing she said to her son every night, and it was just as sincere this time."Sweet dreams." And with that, the medic nin pushed her second kunai neatly through his jugular from behind, feeling the warm rush of blood splattering her hands and marring her otherwise porcelain complexion.

It was done.

Dead I thought. My life started flashing before my eyes. Then it happened I breathed my last breath

It was funny really how they called it "cold blood". The river of red running across Akihana's hands was anything but cold, the warm plasma and hemoglobin mixture pooling in rivulets on the hard ground as the strange ninja crumpled, breathing his last. Watching the life empty itself out of his body, Akihana found herself wondering what his name was. The thought that she had actually killed someone - kill someone whose name she did not know, who looked only a little bit older than her own son - was too much to focus on at the moment so instead the blonde crouched down beside him, moving a hand towards his face and closing his eyes, giving the illusion that the stranger was merely asleep.

Slowly, the blonde pulled the corpse towards her, cradling the head in her lap and letting the blood from his ruined ear stain her knees and thighs. He might be dead and he might be unidentified but no one deserved to be brought in like this. Maybe she could turn him - she refused to think of the corpse as an "it" - to the Raikage. He'd try and find out if there was a family who would like the remains.

Summoning her her last reserves, the kunoichi raised her hands above the place here his ear used to be, her fingers glowing green with chakra as they worked to reattach the skin to the head. Luckily the entire thing hadn't been taken out, the organ still left dangling by a thin strip of earlobe. Akihana tried not to think of the pain he must have been in as she worked to obsorbthe blood and reattach the ear.

The piercing in his neck was easier even if it had generated the most blood. In the end, it was just a small hole to cover up with an overlay of fresh skin cells. Once Akihana had made sure there were no signs of the boy ever being stabbed, she moved to the final wound, a graze on his side just above abdominal level. Scooching further down his body, the blonde treated that puncture as well, covering herself in the dead boy's blood as she worked. Both she and the corpse would need to be cleaned up before she could bring it to the Raikage's office and even though he was her kill, Akihana refused to bring him in like a butcher would a cow.

Once even the minor cuts and scratches were taken care of, leaving the body in a pristine condition underneath the red, Akihana got to her feet and, with a last ditch effort, picked up the body over her shoulder, not failing to notice how much lighter he was in death. The kunoichi along with her load headed to a nearby stream, signalling for another ninja to take over patrol duty. Time to get cleaned up and face the music.

And then go home and try to convert her son into a vegetarian because Akihana doubted she'd ever be able to cut meat ever again.
