The Beginning
Sat Feb 14, 2015 9:01 pm
Daiko simply walked into the village he came across. The entrance was ragged and worn as if a battle was fought here, or rather, a battle was lost here. The ground showed singed grass and covered what would be living plants with weeds. As the ninja stepped, there were crunches under his feet. Staring straight ahead, he caught a glimpse of what true destruction was. The buildings were toppled on their side, crumbling into the ground. The interior of buildings were exposed by the outside, and was overgrown by vines that curled around tables, chairs, and other rotting furniture. The boy simply scratched his head in awe; this was nothing like he'd seen before. Running his hand against a wall he pulls it back quickly. A trickle of blood dripped down from his palm, and he quickly clenched his fist to prevent more bleeding.
Stepping out of the ruined building, Daiko continues to explore his surroundings. There was nobody to be seen, and the cracked earth began to widen. The sun was beating down on him, and he quickly looked around with a roofed house among the rubble. His eyes caught on something, and he strolled over to it before sitting down on one of the tables. Light shone through the cracked remains of windows, and he sighed. He was still trying to get over the fact that he was banished from his own home, although it had been years since that fateful day. He leaned back, and stared at the roof. The structure was the opposite of sturdy, and wobbled with each breeze that blew by. Although this building was far from safe, Daiko found himself much more comfortable here than out in the beating sun. He then sat up, and rapped his knuckles on the table, feeling the legs wobble a bit.

The broken village once known as the great AmeKagure held a plethora of remarkable things. Great ruined buildings..... which lay in pieces on the ground, a thriving economy.... which was non existent now due to well.... the destruction, vibrant flows of people moving through the bustling streets.... ok. So Ame wasn't looking so hot. It was quite the ghost town some would say but in destruction came great things and that great thing was the great cosplay queen of funkakagure!
In the center of town.. If you could call this mass of broken everything a town, the premier queen of fashion stood, addressing her subordinants in a mighty yell. "That's all wrong. Ai.... you were supposed to shift here, spin and theeeeeeeeeen pirouette. and pinoch.... cant those tiny legs jump any higher?! this will not do. THis is not the way it's supposed to go.
She was still in her main outfit, or at least the clothing she wore entering the village, a red form fitting leotard like bit of cloth with a neckline that sunk down past her belly button. The arms flowed downward to flare out at her wrists, the color changing to an almost fire like orange as the cloth hung loosely over her wrists. As the eye was drawn downward the color would slowly blend, shifting from the deep red to an orange with bits of yellow tipping the outfit at just the right places. across each of her hips was a large five pointed flower connected at the center with a small black dot and at each of her hips strips of cloth set, connected to fhe flower and flowing freely down her legs. at her hips they shifted drastically. Her tights were a deep black with small box like bits at each of her outer thighs tying the dark color into her top and her feet were adorned with remarkable science fiction esque boots.
Her sister and servant stood about fifteen meters away, each of them about thirty meters from the newcomer who had up to this point not noticed her existence. But oh would he now. She shouted at the girl wearing a balerina style outfit in a soft purple, bearing a similar neckline that stopped only a litle higher, with strings that would seem to pull the cloth together to stop the exposure of flesh, though they were left open to allow milky pale flesh to peek in great volumes down the center of the girl's body, and she simply stopped, putting her hands down crossed in front of her and dropping her head. Her outfit had an almost tutu like dress section where her sisters had the flowers with hears, completely open in the front whith a triangular bit of lighter blue accent in it's center. Across her shoulders was an over layer of accents that looked similar to that of angelic wings, pointing outward from her body to put accent on her face, and away from the ample cleavage she was exposing, and her gloves and boots were of a similar design as her sisters, though the gloves were small almost bracelet like bits fashioned to the large paterned fishnet that traced lines of black across her arms. asside from outfits the two girls would look exactly the same in every way, long pink hair rolling down their shoulders to feather out across their bodies and deep blue eyes.
Finally as her verbal assault was finished she turned to Pinochio, who looked like an exact replica of the disney character.... or would were disney a thing in the land of ninja. It wasn't, and as such naturally he looked like nothing anyone had ever seen. shame on you for bringing meta concepts into this roleplay you rude unimaginable cruel individual.
His outfit was significantly simpler, long strait white hair seeming to almost fall down his body, flowing over a white suit with black trimming. he would look sorta... off to be honest, as his outfit and demeanor was that of a strong powerful man but would be ruined in that he was.... about two feet tall.
"Now. We're going to try again and this time make sure you get it right! Ai I know you can do this..." As she spoke she performed the movements, her leg raising up perfectly with her left hand as she spun completely on her toes. She crossed ten meters in four great gliding strides, elegant and remarkably light on her feet before raising up a second time, her body almost curling away from the two with her outstreatched arm pointing their direction as the center of her body bent opposite, making her almost seem to form a C.
"Do it exactly like that... Got it?" They would be flawless. This was the final waltz of her story, a remarkable science fiction tale of terror and love. With this she would finally be famous.

The less than sturdy table held itself up under Daiko, and he yawned while stretching. The barren wasteland of what was once called "Amegakure" was not as interesting as he had thought it would have been. It was the Hidden Rain Village, though the sun was beating down with the intensity of over a thousand volcanoes, and there was not a drop of rain. The earth beneath his feet was soft and movable, though he assumed that it was from suiton or doton ninjutsu than from anything like rain or precipitation. Sighing, the blonde-haired ninja walks out of the shambles of what was once a building, seeing a woman dancing and yelling with two people beside her. This was quite the scene, and was not something an average person or ninja would see every day..
The first thing that caught the Genin ninja's eye was what the girl had on as an outfit, if it could be called that. It was extremely revealing around her stomach and breasts that a man would get a bloody nose. It was a deep orange that went into a gradient of colors to a brighter orange the farther it went down. There were small, long sections of the clothing that hung down and flowed outward toward the ground around her, as if they were wings. Her hands had finger-less, dark orange gloves that had the shape of a "V" on them starting at the base of her wrist and ending at the middle of the hand, opposite to her palm. Almost her entire torso was exposed for the world to see, excluding the sides of her torso and back. Her shoulders were revealed as well. At her breasts were pieces of material connected to the waist portion of the outfit, and it made her chest more than exposed. There were small metal discs beneath her cleavage, seemingly supporting her. Her arms long streams of fabric coming off of them, gliding down to her sides in a slow, mystifying way. It was like he was glancing at a graceful butterfly of sorts. At her waist, there was flowers which led into less revealing pants. These pants were black and form fitting to the shape of her body, and went down smoothly to connect with the shoes. The shoes were a bright orange and were finely pointed at the tip of her toes like ballerina shoes. Although looking as if they were high tech, they only seemed to be sandals. Her waist also had the same streamers that had drifted down from the ones at her arms, dropping down by the sides of her legs.
The second girl dancing that Daiko noticed was no less interesting than what he had seen on the orange girl, even though she was slightly less revealed than the one dancing and skipping around. This girl had on clothing themed with more of a deep purple color, darkening under the dress and being brighter on the surface of the cloth, as if it was double sided. Starting on her head were wing-like articles of cloth that seemed to come out from her neck and stand up in her hair. Her shoulders had out spiked fur of sorts that connected with her collar, and they stood up by her arms like shoulders. The fabric on her chest covered just enough of her breasts to leave half of it to the imagination, no where near as revealing as what the girl in orange was wearing. This was not form fitting, but had thin strings connected each side of her shirt together. The shirt she was wearing went down in a "V" shape, starting at each of her breasts until it moved down into the tip around her belly button. The waist of her dress had wings of sorts that spread out, standing out to sides of her. Her dress was a deep purple that matched the blonde boy's eyes, and under them there was a much deeper purple shown. There was a small frilly peice of fabric hanging down from her belly button, that seemed to be like a cover up for what was below. Her "pants" consisted of leggings with small straps of purple.
The final person Daiko had to look at was actually male. He looked very serious in his outfit, as if he showed athority in everything that he had done. It was a simple white fabric that was in a suit fasion, which trimming of black around random places. The collar had a small "V" in it that exposed some of his neck. His long white hair would lie gently on his shoulders, and only one eye was exposed. The orange girl began speaking to him as well, and Daiko had to cover his mouth not to laugh. Although the man would normally be one of the coolest people you'd ever seen, he was only two feet tall. He was so short, it was as if someone took a hammer and smashed him flat, then he only came back as 1/4 his normal size. Holding himself off from laughing, he begins approaching the strange group, blinking.
"Hello there~" He waved, this being the first person he had met in awhile. He was basically ignoring the two others, and had his full attention on this girl in the orange outfit. Smiling to her, he makes sure to keep an eye on the other too as well, just in case they tried to dance him into a grave. Daiko scratches his head as he looks at the trio, and was very confused. He had only said 'Hello There' and nothing else. He felt a sudden wave of awkwardness wash over him like a flood. As he stood there remembering that there was no rain, he felt a few patters of water on his arms and sighed. It was known as the hidden rain village, he should have known that it would rain. He just stood there, waiting for responses from the dancing people in front of him.

"Alright so you turn here, dip down and spin, prance prance prance circle shift legs and...., do we have the special effects ready yet!? Why is the ground not lighting up as I step... I thought we talked about this. Completely unacceptable. This would have passed in funka guys but this is a new place and we must make a good impression. Come now how dificult is it to make the ground in each zone glow blue right as you step on it!? Have you even seen ferngully? Exactly like the scene from there. Over and over I say this bu...., WHAT!" Of course they hadn't seen fergully. Considering once more this was not a relevant or existent thing within the ninja community she should have known they would never have seen it. That was a simply propose aroud thing to ask bith because of its inexistence and because they were made of wood, even if the twin puppet Aios ai looked completely human they were in fact not. Her rant was punctuated every third word by her sister, AI saying the word "sister" in a calm but interruptive tone.
"We um... Seem to have a visitor...." Aios' eyes grew wide as her fingertips twitched. This was unacceptable. Who would be rude enough to interupt their practice in their own private dance studio.....in the middle of a village......with people working to rebuild....right. She supposed it made sense. More importantly she decided she would need to find a more private place where they could practice without interruption. Leviticus would be spoken to about this as it was an absolute necessity. This and her castle.
"What do you mean we have a visitor who would go all this dist.... Right. Perhapse we aren't completely in seclusion. I'll see what he wants." AI gave a shake of her head, moving forward quickly to close the distance, moving at a speed of seventy three, half her movement speed, but what can you do right? Once in range she would come to a stop, digging her heels sideways into the wet ground to skid about a foot, standing one meter from the newcomer before bowing lightly. "Hullo. I am AI, sister to Aios, the cosplay queen of funkakagure. How may I help you?"( twc 1234)

Daiko continued to stare blankly until the dancing one stopped her actions, and stood there. He noticed her enraged twitching, and his eyes quickly became saucers and his was ready to move over to comfort her. "Y-Yeah..." The orange-suited girl looked especially angry at her two friends, though he had no idea why that was. The ninja just sat there, and waited for the squabbling among them to come to a halt. Daiko's attention was suddenly grabbed by the buildings around him. Although most were in ruin, it did seem like far off there were people working on reconstruction. This made Daiko happy, seeing the progress that a village once destroyed by another made. He just stood there, humming, until he saw something come flying at him with the speed of a bullet, if ninja even knew what those were.
Daiko is sees one of the people speed toward him very swiftly, and his eyes became a size much like saucers. He falls on his back, the soft ground beneath him breaking his fall. He slowly stands up and brushes himself off just in time to see the girl in the purple dress bowing to him, speaking of who she was. It was apparent that she was called 'AI'. He simply assumed that the only other female there was the girl in the orange clothing, who he'd now call 'Aios'. She proclaimed herself something called 'The Cosplay Queen'. Daiko blinked absently at this, trying to understand what was going on. "R-Right... A cosplay queen.. I know what a queen is, but would you mind explaining to me what a cosplay is?" His eyes drifted at both girls as he tried his best not to stare at their chests. Suddenly, his attention was caught by the business man who was two feet tall.
Daiko pointed a finger at the white-haired man, a bit confused. "Oh.. Who is that? I'd assume you're Aios and I know you're AI... But... Who's that little guy?" The boy then scratches the back of his head and looks embarrassed. "Oh... I'm Daiko, by the way.. I just came here from walking aimlessly for a few years." He felt rude for bombarding them with questions the first few minutes that they had met, but at the same time he thought ( hoped, rather ) that ninja would not harm one another for being rude. He felt bad for what he had done, but there was no need to apologize now.
The ninja then slightly lost focus, remembering times with his parents. He had filled his mind with hateful messages about all ninjas. They said they were nothing but thugs and were better off dead. They told him this just about every day, and it started to get to him. He met this new woman, albeit on the shameless side, she was rather nice. He was still alive, after all. He swiftly snapped out of his gaze, and returned full attention to the trio of misfits in front of him.

"What!? Did he just ask what cosplay is!? No one in this world understands the struggle and effort we put in every day sister no one!!!" Aios continued to ramble on for several minutes about her disgust at these peoples inability to understand the simple concept of cosplay. This world was clearly full to the brim with uncultured swines, and UR was her soul responsibility to teach them.... And by her responsibility she of course meant AI's.
"Excuse her. She's eccentric. Cosplay is of course short for costume play, the art of dressing up as fictional characters, slipping into their character and showing off your craftsmanship for those who enjoy it. To correct, I'm actually Ai, the girl cosplaying as inori is Aios, and the small fellow is Pinocchio. I'd ask that you not mix us up again though it is understandable. We're twins. Nice to meet you daiko. If you need anything while you're in ame..... Honestly were new here but the boy li should be able to assist. Otherwise if you'd like to train or learn the great art of costume play we will gladly take a break from our rehearsal."
Aios began to mumble a bit louder at the offer, clearly recognizing that what her sister said was true.... But not what she would have prefered.

Daiko looked at the girl in front of him and slightly scratched his head. He would remember that she was AI and not Aios... He would have a rough time telling the difference between the two, but he had some help from the orange outfit as to who was who. He stared for a few seconds then shot them the thumbs up. "Sure.. I would love to train. I'm not that good at Jutsu anyway, so it'd really help to have some pointers from you guys." He smiled a genuine smile at them, and wondered what they would be doing.
The ninja had never actually trained before, due to his parents closing him off from the world. He was eager to train with her, but he suddenly felt a rush to his head. He began to feel dizzy, swaying from side to side in a daze. He felt as if he was about to vomit, and blinked a couple of times. He fell in a deep white pit of sorts, landing on his feet in place with white tile floors along with tiled walls that matched the floor. In this place, he was greeted by a dark entity, which slowly walked over to him. It smirked at him. "Daiko.. Seidra..." The man / creature / thing said to Daiko. "Y-Yeah? So what?" The thing chuckled slightly, looking at him through his eyes and what felt like into his soul. "You're of the Shinkou clan... What a ridiculous name like Seidra..." The thing continued to float there, and Daiko suddenly felt nervous. "W-What's going on with my actual body? I can tell this isn't real.. But what's happening out there?" The entity slowly drifted over to where Daiko stood. "Training with that young girl... In here you will have a training of your own." The entity then began to float away, the tiles slowly sectioning themselves off into actual pieces of earth that he was to jump to, completing this puzzle of sorts.
Daiko runs to one, jumping. He hardly made the jump and was hanging on tightly to the edge of the rock, dangling down into nothingness. He slowly pulled himself up, and tried to stay hot on the figure that was leading him all this way's tail. He wasn't going to lose this thing, he didn't even know what it was. He was told something about a Shinkou, but he didn't know what that was either. He was most likely the most clueless ninja in the entirety of villages. He continued to chase after the creature, running with his feet slamming hard against what felt like ground. He continued to run hard, putting all of his effort into catching up to the creature that he was tailing, and to do it quickly.
---
The dizziness left his head, and all he was left with was confidence. Most would see it as foolishness, but he believed that he could take on the world. Pointing at the two girls, he nodded happily. "Yeah... Let me repeat myself. I'm ready to train.. Make sure to train me with all you've got. If I'm going to become the strongest ninja, I should be able to face any challenge that should come my way." He smiled a more devious grin than before, and awaited his training. His normally reserved personality was no longer here, as it had seemed to be somewhere else at the moment. All Daiko wanted to do was to become the strongest in the world, no matter how ridiculous that sounded. He cracked his knuckles then pointed at AI. "Let's get training started, then."

The two nodden in perfect unison, Aios walking over slowly to stop about eleven meters from the new boy. She knew her sister would freak if she came any closer. She was protective all of the time, and for good reason. Still she flashed the boy a smile before slipping back into character, her eyes cast downward and any sign of emotion leaving her face.
"Excelent.... We do need to get some work done in regards to training. We spent so much time within our room over the past year, mostly hiding from the crazy people.... Um..... " She was cut off as Aios began to yell, even though they weren't quite at a range where yelling would be needed.
"Ask him if he knows ninjutsu spec AAAAAAIIIII ASK HIM IF HE KNOWS NINJUTSU. YOU KNOW WE NEED TO LEARN THAT. IT WILL BE MAGICAL THINK OF ALL THE SPECIAL EFFECTS WE COULD LEARN" Ai's face shifted to a frown, her hand dropping into her palm at her sister's rediculous actions.
"I um.... I appologize. My sister is um..... At any rate, Do you have a proficiency in Ninjutsu? It's an art we would desperately like to learn... Among other th... Stop that. " She felt the pull on her body as her sister linked their shadows together, a long line of black reaching between them that was incredibly obvious on this bright day. She shook her leg for a moment, almost as if trying to kick the shadow away before once more shaking her head and continuing. " Among other things. Ninjutsu is an invaluable tool as I'm sure you know, and she is um..... Well she's pretty dificult to keep paying attention when she's alone. "
Pinochio positioned himself directly beside Ai, looking up at the boy with a look of sheer child like excitement. His body turned left and right as if it was imposible for him to keep still. Ai was always confused by this, the boy who generally had a personality similar an elder butler acting like the small child as if he were just that. She could only assume it was because her sister forgot who he was and just wanted the puppet to be rediculous and silly. Oh to have the luxury, she thought to herself.
" What specs do you have! what what what... and elements oh my goodness elements! elemental jutsus are sooo Cool. Sister can like... sink into the ground and stuff she uses doton. it's amazing! and then theres that it's called... Actually maybe we arent allowed to say. I'm reall not sure. It's a secret technique after all. I should stop talking.... This just feels wierd. " He cleared his throat, the small pinocchio puppet's body shooting strait up like an arrow to stand now with perfect posture. "Aios... i'll ask you not to forget my personality again, even if it is so you can have some fun. Now as I was saying....well... As we were saying. can you explain the basics of Nijutsu specialization to us? We'll gladly assist you in your endeavors in return... Assuming you have Ninjutsu specialization of course. Otherwise I'm sure we can find something mutually benificial. " He straitened his tie quite professionally, smoothing the wrinkles from his white suit slowly and checking the edges meticulosly.

The ninja nodded, and shot Aios and AI a thumbs up. "Of course I know Ninjutsu... It's my main specialty." Daiko grins widely, and claps his hands together once. "What is it do you want to learn?" He tilted his head slightly, looking at her. He could only do simple ninjutsu, as he hadn't trained much. He could change positions with a log, walk on water, climb trees, and make a staff made out of rock. That wasn't very impressive and even in his cocky persona he realized that he wouldn't be able to teach her much other than what ninjutsu was. "I suppose I can teach you the basics.. How to manipulate chakra and all that jazz." He smiles, then walks up to one of the crumbling buildings, taking one step on it. He then begins to walk up the wall, his hand going downwards. He walks along the wall then hops off, about three meters from AI. "That is only a simple trick.. I could teach you the basics of chakra manipulation if you want. We'd just have to do some training with what you have." The ninja nodded to himself, thinking. "Oh, If you don't mind my asking, what Element specialties do you both have?" He tilted his head slightly to the left, raising an eyebrow. If they didn't have doton there wasn't much that he could teach them, but he assumed that she could do earth release jutsu from Pinocchio's latest outburst.
---
The climbing and running was getting tedious at this point, and Daiko just wanted it to end. He continued to run up the twisted and broken path, unable to see the entity. "Hey! Where'd you go?" he calls out into the bright void that was this world, looking around for signs as to where he was or what he was doing. There was only silence, until he felt a spinning sensation. He closes his eyes as the spinning continued, and he heard the ground being torn apart, the cracking of rocks and ripping of earth could be heard. He then noticed a loud thumping sound, and the spinning had stopped. Looking up, he was in the middle of some sort of coliseum, filled with people that all looked the same. They cheered loudly, then he noticed the black entity up in a booth above the arena. He was wearing a top hat and a tuxedo, and it was a confusing experience. He continued to stare blankly up, until the thing started to talk into a microphone.
The thing cleared it's throat, silencing the entire audience. "Daiko.. Welcome to my little arena. Here you will be trained... Unless you die. Then of course, you won't be trained. Then you'd be dead." The thing laughed, then pressed a button, opening a door. All that came out was a figure that had the shape of a normal human, but was expressionless. It had a bo staff it it's hand, and Daiko simply stared. "Come on now, trite. Fight with all you've got!" Suddenly filled with panic, the ninja picked up a stone and did a one-handed tiger seal, transforming the stone in the opposite hand to become much like the staff this creature was wielding. Wielding it awkwardly, Daiko holds it forward, preparing to block the creature's attack. The thing charged at him, and Daiko held up the staff to block. The two rods of wood and stone met in the middle, and the creature began to overpower him. Shoving forward, the ninja breaks the creatures guard, swiping at his side. This caused the creature to fade into nothingness. Chuckling, Daiko looked up at the black entity. "Is that all you've got?" The creature smirked. "Not a chance." Pressing another button, about twenty of the creature he just defeated came out, all wielding staffs much like the last one. "...Maybe I shouldn't have asked..."

"Yes yes yes!!!!" AIos jumped up and down with glee once more, spinning on her left toe before begining to a few gymnastic maneuvers clearly just to epress her happiness. AI however was significantly less...... hyper? SHe simply nodded continuing with her words.
"Excelent. We do know the standard jutsus. I'd like for us to get into Advanced techniques in the near future. It's imperative for our teamwork to be able to use powerful destructive power considering the.... situation we were in. Beware also. Theres a strange crazy girl with a painted face within the village. She attempted to kill us upon our entrance to Ame. Thankfully paranoia proved true and I was able to protect my sister. " Her words were punctuated by exclamations every few seconds by the strange hyper girl a distance away. "I dont allow any too close to her for her own protection you see. "
"They each know Doton and fuuton sir. We should probably be working on more however. It's just been such a buisy few days with the situation in Ame. As you can see it's a little bit destroyed. " The smaller puppet spoke up now, this one clearly made of wood unlike the other too. He noticed the way this boy spoke to Ai, impressed as usual that the girl's ventrilloquism and craftsmanship once more made the masterpiece of craftsmanship seem more then human enough that it was mistaken. "Chakra manipulation would be fantastic. I'm sure i... Aios. Miss. If your sister didn't apreciate it why do you think I would?" As he spoke a small branch flowed from the shadow connecting the two twins, it's pointed two dimensional tip slipping into the black void behind Pinocchio. For a moment he felt the pull of her shadow imitation weighting him down. he could break it of course. The tiny boy had the power of an ox, however she wouldn't really learn anything from that and more importantly she would get pouty with a chance of whining. that would never do.
