Need a Doctor?

Stein would walk up to the gates of Konoha, he needed to get some supplies and he lived in the forest nearby so it would not be to far to come here instead of anywhere else, So he would knock on the gates and looked around to see if someone may help let him in

Salzem, who was patrolling the gates at the time, noticed a familiar boy knocking on the gate doors. His stitched-up look seemed familiar and yet, he could not put a finger on where he had seen him before. Never the less, Salzem would approach kid, bowing in greeting.

"Hello. stranger." Salzem would say. "My name is Salzem. What business do you have in Konoha?"

"I am in need of some supplies I have the ryo to buy them, also is anyone in need of a Doctor?" the man looked to the boy with a grin of his normal suit, not his crazy kind today, he needed to get into Konohagakure so he did not want to freak the kid out in any sort of way

Salzem looked the person over. He was not like any he had encountered before, either in stature or appearance. However, if what he says is true, then he should pose no harm to Konoha.

"I know not of anyone in need of doctors at the moment, however, perhaps you will find one." Salzem stepped out of Stein's way, gesturing towards Konoha with his arm.
"Welcome to Konoha. May you find your stay... acceptable." With that Salzem would walk back into the village, continuing his rounds at the wall.

When Stein asked the question he watched the kids eyes seem to light up, then after a moment they dulled down, as if he just saw hope but was scared to reach for it, then as the kid answered the question he looked down and to his left, that was a definite sign of a lie, this kid needed not only more training on keeping the truth, but also He knew someone who needed his help...

Stein would let out a sigh as the kid walked away for a moment, he would step into the village, and he called out to him after entering the village "Hey kid, Why did you lie, Who needs a doctor?" Stein asked with a stern voice, there was no need to lie, other then the fact the kid did not know who Stein was.

Salzem turned around, seeing that the new-comer had followed him. Who was he, and what did he want with an average chuunin like Salzem. He sighed, turning fully so that he was facing him. He had rounds around the walls and afterwords he was looking forward to a nice rest.

"Check down at the hospital or something." Salzem said, voice tired, slightly impatient. "They are always looking for doctors."  Salzem would again try to brush off this newcomer, going about his rounds at the walls before feeling an intense pain in his chest. His mask was no longer cutting it. Either his body was on its last legs or the poison damages a crucial part of his lung. Salzem coughed lightly, taking off his breathing mask, covering his mouth with a fist. When he pulled away, he saw a small puddle of red placed there in his palm. Salzem stared for a second before putting his mask on hastily and trying to finish up his rounds. He needed to get home soon. He needed to finish his preparations.

Salzem's little fit did not pass Stein unseen, he would walk over and whisper in the kids ear "When you are tired of feeling your life drain while you sit around helplessly, come see me" and then Stein went off on his own business, letting Salzem to his own devices, he had shopping to go do
