His eyes grew to the size of saucers, comically, when he heard of Kumogakure, one of the villages to which his own had always aspired to stride alongside, before its own destruction. He had wanted to stand on equal terms with the five shadows. Seemed like there were powerful enemies about however, if Kumogakure had been attacked. He somehow suspected that Kumogakure had been destroyed if survivors were now so far away in this village of stars. Akihana Akari would most likely turn out to be a prominent figure of the old place, if she was a name that Blues, another genin, was expected to be familiar with. Interesting.

He was especially curious if the Raikage had made it here, yep, definitely if there were survivors including the Raikage trying to flee, then they had some powerful enemies indeed. Later, he would try to query Arashi about all this Kumogakure stuff later, he seemed like he had recovered more from his own village destruction like Hado. Blues though, he looked like he needed a pat on the back. While he listened, he worked on patching up a cut on his leg that he had not noticed before, with the medical chakra he had been using earlier.

Hado ran over towards Blues at all of his meager speed, and patted him on the back. "We'll be ok Blues. You're with new family now."

Raising his voice a little to also talk to the unnamed girl, Hado said "Sounds like a good deal to me Mister Arashi, c'mon guys, let's go!"

He had already seen a glimpse of the city from a while back, and knew it was not far now. Unless he was physically stopped, his little legs would begin pedaling as fast as they could, a dust trail arising in his wake despite the vegetation, as it had not rained recently here. Anyone not looking really closely, would think his legs were rotating in a circle, like in those cartoons with the Roadrunner and such.

The others would hear a "Wahoooooo!!!!" as he zipped away over the top of the hill, fading into the distance if they did not follow fast enough. Most likely he would not hear anything they shouted at him, so happy was he. As he would be coming over the top of the hill, the giant buildings would appear and his pace would pick up even faster, exhaustion leaving his body, as the prospect of new friends and a new roof to sleep under filled his mind. If he had literally left the others in the dust, he would come to a stop a bit outside the gates, screeching to a halt, and wait for the rest to catch themselves up.

Shika, satisfied that the weights dragging herself down for so many years were finally off of her chest, gave the faintest of smiles. She was not a good person; but that didn't mean she couldn't change. She paused for the faintest of seconds, before setting off in a new direction.

It was a relief that these missing and young shinobi weren't here to infiltrate or act as a gang would, and instead were just trying to find a home.  Slowly, the village seemed to be growing, and since that's what Akihana wanted, it made Arashi feel much better.

Unfortunately, there was the question about the Raikage.  And Arashi couldn't try to lie or spare him from the truth.  "The Raikage... wasn't there.  He didn't show up to lead the ninja, they had to try to defend the village on their own.  There were rumors that he had gone to meditate in the mountains and was killed, however I haven't been back.  I just know that Aki never found what happened to Yaju." he said, shaking his head.

As Hado took off, Arashi chuckled a bit, turning back to the group.  "Alright, I can take you to her, but she should be asleep by now.  You are all under my protection, I'll have one of the captains set up rooms for you for now, until we can sort out everything.  Until then, let me by the first to welcome you to Hoshigakure no Sato." he said, extending his hand towards the village gates and leading them.

The rest of the journey would be relatively quiet, though for poor Hado, his sprint to the gate would have been met with weapons, as Arashi had not yet reached the gate and couldn't inform them of his safe passage.  Luckily, within a few minutes the group would be sighted by the guards, who would release Hado after Arashi spoke to them.  Letting the guards handle sleeping arrangements and food, he continued his patrol until it was time to finish, and then finally retired for the now.

Blues very slowly nods, looking pained by this news, his jaw clenching tighter while remaining silent. His head bows once in acceptance before his sore feet march onward, following the lead of the Shinobi that's come to accept them. After a brief bit of trouble caused by the guards stopping his excited travel companion, Blues and the others are lead to suitable accommodations and Blues sits alone, the sheathed Katana in his lap feeling heavy as he gazes down upon it.
Memories play through his mind of the day he was accepted as a Genin, his team with Yaju-Sensei and Angel, the training and praise he received from the very figure he sought to one day surpass in order to become the Raikage himself to serve and protect his village...He frowns deeply his eyes staring down upon what must be the last remnant of his legacy and slowly..He sets the blade to his side before unsheathing it...His eyes rest fully upon the sharpened steel...He decides he'll need to purchase a whetstone, to properly care for this blade.
It will be what he uses when he takes back Kumogakure.
