Akiko's outburst

A young Genin rank kunoichi of the Hyuuga clan trudged her way home from the hospital. Her long beautiful brown hair blew in the wind and a few strands could be seen coming out. The 13 year old girl had recently found out that she had 2 siblings and that she was adopted. The Hyuuga clan was an esteemed clan in the Hidden Leaf Village and their members could easily be identified. They all shared the same bloodline trait, the Byakugan. The young girl would usually be very motivated to train and do anything to help the village, but now she was questioning everything. She reached up and rubbed her hand against her forehead underneath her headband. She could pretty much feel the caged bird curse mark that she had placed on herself previously. It was a mark that she heavily regretted applying to herself. At the time, she had applied it, she was focused on protecting the Hidden Leaf Village and her clan, but now she felt betrayed by them.
As she entered the door to her house in the Hyuuga district the young Hyuuga's parents looked at her. Her demeanor was different from the typical happy and excited attitude that the young ninja expressed. Akiko's father looked at her and asked, "Is everything okay?"
Akiko looked towards him with a glare that was very uncharacteristic of her as she responded. "How come you didn't tell me I was adopted?!" Don't you trust me?!" After making this comment, she turned and ran down the hallway towards her room ignoring her parents cries for her to go back and talk yo them about this. All the way through the hall, tears were streaming down her face.
Once, she reached her room, she slammed her door shut and knocked her bookshelf in front of it. She then did the unthinkable. She grabbed a kunai knife from her gear and gathered her long brown hair in her other hand. She had previously thought of her hair as a glorious link to her honorable clan and village, but these thoughts now betrayed her. With one swift movement, her long hair was reduced to a short sloppy mess at the back of her head. Akiko set the limp majority of hair that had been attached to her skull recently on the nearby desk. She then put some extra clothes into her backpack and jumped out her window right as her parents got the door open.
