Altar would let a heavy sigh. His arms ached. His entire body ached, for that matter. He had been carrying the lifeless body of the boy he considered friend and could've called family. Now, the body lay on the bottom of the boat. It was frightening to think this could've been him. The abyss was nothing to be toyed with, surely. If it could take a life that easily...

Altar continued to push the boat on it's way towards Kirigakure, trying his best to ignore the birds overhead and the occasional knock of the body on the bottom of the boat.
