A staff weapon... jutsu?

          Shinjirama thought that he would try to get this simple jutsu on his first try. The only sign required was Tiger. He formed the handsign in his hand, and waited for something to happen. After about five minutes of waiting, he realized nothing was happening. This time he formed the handsign and palmed the ground beneath him. This time he pulled up a small bar of dirt, that collapsed in his hands once he picked it up. "Maybe if I try it where the dirt isn't as soft?" He said quietly. He walked over to an area where there was tougher ground. He formed the handsign, but as he palmed the ground, a crow came swarming in his face for some reason. "Shoo, shoo, get out of here you crow!" He said while shaking his hands wildly trying to pester it. He then palmed the ground, but since he had the chakra build up, but not the sign, all that happened was dirt ruptured from the ground, into the air, causing hm to run to cover behind a decent sized boulder, about three quarters of his size, and the crow got bombarded with dirt, before flying off. Shinjirama watched as the crow left, to ensure that it did not stick around to pester him further. Once the crow was no longer in sight, he went over to another patch of strong dirt. He formed the Tiger Handsign, and stated strong and proudly, "Earth Style: Rock Section Cane!" and then palmed the ground directly after. He pulled up the staff made of earth, with a firm grip. He twirled it around between his fingers. "This is pretty awesome to have. I just have to be careful, as it is only as good as I am. He then went over to the training dummies on the field by the academy. He began practicing his lance skills, by twirling the staff as if to parry, then struck in a stabbing motion right towards the dummy's stomach, and then used the other side to swipe at its neck, before twirling it one last time and jamming it into the ground. 
          He then went over to stone, and tried to make a stone staff, since he knew as much as person in training, that stone is just a more advanced version of earth. He formed the Tiger handsign, and said "Earth Style: Rock Section Cane!" And then palmed the ground. Nothing happened. Now this time he knew, that doing something like that was way too far out of his league, for now at least. Shinjirama then decided it was time to go home, and as always, wanted to show his parents. He walked home causally, not in any sort of rush. When he finally arrived home by seven in the afternoon, his parents were doing yard work. Shinjirama ran towards them and yelled "MOM, DAD!" And when he got closer, he said, "Look at this new technique!" He formed the Tiger handsign once again. "Earth Style: Rock Section Cane!" And then palmed the ground. He lifted up his staff from the ground, and twirled it between his fingers, smiling. His parents clapped at first, then after seeing the mess it had caused the yard, ordered him to help them fix the yard, since he ruined it.
