Apprehension of the Burgular [IO, NK]
Wed Jun 15, 2016 6:10 pm
Enyo spent his day so far watching shinobi train in the beautiful forests of Konoha, they all had different personalities that led Enyo wondering what he could do to make himself a better ninja. Also, how would he go about finding this Ari person, if she was so strong maybe she was higher up in the ranks which means Enyo would have to climb the ranks as well. With this in his mind he was motivated to train, he remember his father harping about a simple technique that would take him a long way. It was the Basic Enhancement Technique. The gist of the jutsu was for the user to focus chakra into their cells in order to harden their skin making them impervious to weaker attacks. With that being said he was all for it, his training on the jutsu was cut short due to the circumstances that led him to where he was now. But it was no matter to him, he enjoyed putting his own spin on the jutsus his father taught him and now he wouldn't get in trouble for it so if anything he was elated to be in Konoha. “Okay, to send chakra into each and every cell in my body must be pretty difficult, how shall I get it there though. This will be my first Hiyu technique that I have learned so the principles are still very new to me.” Enyo thought to himself as he didn’t speak out loud much.
Thinking about this he would begin to surge the little chakra he had through his body making it encompass every part of his body since he couldn’t figure out how to get chakra into every other cell. This seemed to be a simple solution, but his skin did not harden, his chakra was merely encompassing his body with no real effect to it. “Hm, I usually get these things in no time if I’m in battle. Maybe I have to incite a spar of some sort.” Enyo would say walking into Konoha. He was headed to the ninja academy to see if he could spar a teacher, but he passed by the mission board to see that there were many things that needed to be done in the village. Being himself he could not just walk past all of these undone deeds so he grabbed one, it was a D-Rank mission dubbed ‘Catching The Thief’. “No way! There is a thief in Konoha taking people’s belongings!” Enyo would say as he continued to read the description. ‘Someone has stolen various items from people around Konoha. The Hokage has tasked young ninja with catching and stopping the thief from stealing anymore, whether by words or physical means.’ After Enyo was done reading he would begin his search.

Walking towards the missions office to do something a bit more fun this time, he whistled softly. His rather long black hair falling to his shoulders swayed slightly with the wind as he wore a dark grey, turtle neck sweater and formal, dark black pants. He was stuffed everywhere with weapons including a fuma shuriken folded up and roped to his pants. Such was the life of someone who can't get enough weapons. Kanshi's collection grew larger everyday almost with his experience as a blacksmith and all. His black gloves matched the rest of his body and had their claws retracted and out of view, thus looking as if they were just a regular pair of gloves. His gear was all there and he had his muscles as support. Whatever mission he could find, he was ready to do it. This was his idea of taking a break from his squad for a bit. To him doing nothing was far from what he wanted to do.
Walking up to the missions office, he met someone with long black hair talking about some kind of theif's crimes.
Now this is just the kind of ninja I could get behind.
Kanshi thought this as he walked up to the presumed ninja and spoke to him.
"Hey, I'm Kanshi, a bukijutsu specialist of Konoha, and I was wondering if you would like company on whatever mission you are going on. I am certain I can hold my own in a fight and meeting new ninja is always at the top of my to do list. What do you say? You up for partnership on a mission?"
Maybe he was being too nice to random ninja, but the amount of chakra he was sensing from this guy was puny even in comparison to his squad members; however, he could specialize in taijutsu or bukijutsu as well. Whatever he was, he was someone who seemed good enough for Kanshi to pair up with.

Noticing the man next to him Enyo figured he was just another ninja who was looking for a mission to gain some quick money, but then he began to speak to Enyo. With a flurry of dialogue this ninja named Kanshi would begin to speak to Enyo telling him more than even his father has about himself. “That’s too much information for me to process at the moment.” Enyo would say placing his left hand on the back of his head and rubbing it with an expressionless face. “Well, one thing I did understand though was partnering up, are you an enforcer of justice as well?” Enyo would ask remembering he forgot to mention his name to the shinobi. “And excuse my rudeness, my name is Enyo. My last name isn’t really supposed to be spoken so that shall remain confidential. Anyhow, with this mission I believe we should start asking previous victims of this burglar in order to find some patterns in his movements. Once we do that we should wait and have steakout to see if we can catch him in the act.” Enyo said coming up with a rather quick but effective plan.
Waiting for the shinobi’s reply he would begin to analyze him, it was a habit he had, but it couldn’t be detailed as bad. “He is slightly shorter than me, a little bulky, dark eyes, of which I can’t tell the color. This seems to be one of his distinguishing features though. Lastly, a striped suit with a grey tie.” Enyo thought to himself as he would quickly scan the shinobi with his eyes.

So I think I understand why I haven't seen this ninja around. I wonder what he does for fun? Play chess with himself?
These thoughts led Kanshi to realize he is just being too judgmental of Enyo. It also seemed as if Enyo was now checking him out or just looking all over him for some reason. Now Kanshi was started to feel really unsettled as he spoke.
"Eh uh, I am an enforcer of justice. I'm sorry, I don't really see many new ninja so this comes at a surprise. Your plan sounds like a good idea though. Let's just stick with that."
Kanshi said this at a much slower speed in hopes he would better understand him. With all the ninja had said and the appearance, Kanshi ruled out that this ninja wasn't a taijutsu specialist. It was his assumption now, with someone as machine like as this, that it had to be a medical ninjutsu specialist or space/time specialist. It was at this point he would hear more details from Enyo before watching those eyes of this stranger travel. Something was immensely wrong with whomever this was and he began to question what kind of childhood this kid had. Putting on a smile and minimizing any hints he was uncomfortable, he spoke.
"Let's... wait a second..."
He gulped for a second after realizing the description could be used to perfectly describe how he usually looks.
"...that description sounds exactly like me. I usually wear that exactly, just decided to dress a bit more comfortable. Where are you getting this information?"
Kanshi was bug eyed as he questioned what exactly was going on here. There was a noticable lack of ninja with the same exact look as himself.

Enyo could see by the gulping sound originating from the shinobi’s throat that he was nervous, about what he already deducted. “I’m doing it again aren’t I?” Enyo asked himself as he stopped himself from scanning Kanshi any further. Right after Kanshi would begin to state that the description Enyo was speaking of was him, “Hm, could he read my mind maybe? I might have just said it in a low tone of voice thinking it was in my head.” Enyo began to a tangent in his mind drifting off in his thoughts of Kanshi.
He stopped himself and realized he needed to get back into the mission as there was a burglar out there. “Okay, well we will talk to the Ninja Academy since they posted the mission and see if they will relay details about who was affected by the burglar. Once we have done that then it shall begin. It being the steakout.” Enyo restated the plan.
Figuring the shinobi would be right behind him he would begin to head towards the Ninja Academy, upon arrival he would ask the two Chunin outside of the Ninja Academy about who the exact originator of the mission was. “Oh, well she is inside the first desk you see when you walk in.” They would say. Enyo would nod his head as he walked in the door holding it open for Kanshi.
Once he entered he would begin to speak to the lady, “So, we took up the thief mission and we’re wondering who exactly was struck by this tragedy in order to see any motives.” Enyo would tell the lady. “Ah, luckily for you we did all of that already, the point of interest for him next should be two houses down from the Ichiraku Ramen Noodle.” She said.
“Ah, thank you for the intel, we will be on our way.” Enyo would say as he turned around heading directly for that house. He would then inform the old women staying there and he and Kanshi would stakeout at Ichiraku Ramen Noodle.

For the most part, Kanshi followed and began to feel slightly aggravated that the criminal as still out there. He wanted to kill the thief more than anything else in that moment. Killing the thief was exciting just to think about. As far as he knew, it was a mission to stop the thief in anyway possible and freaks such as this one should die horribly as repercussions for their actions.
On the trip down to Ninja Academy, Kanshi kept quiet and followed this stranger around. The conversation with the lady was one he completely tuned out as he could almost taste the wrath he held back for all too long. Whoever the thief was, Kanshi didn't know. All that mattered was seeing how many different blades he could stab through the thief before he bled to death. Such fools didn't deserve the substantial value of to him.
During their stakeout at the ramen shop, it brought back a few memories of much Takamitsu needed to get punished. That was besides the point as he focused in on trying to find the thief.
"Enyo, I know I have been keeping quiet for awhile. It's just that I feel strongly to those who oppose Konoha and those who use their precious life for filthy tasks. I am sure you are the kind to understand."
It was here that he saw it. The thief dressed in a black, full body suit approached from the shadows of night. Kanshi poked Enyo if he was close enough before drawing one fuma shuriken and four kunai. He would wait to see what Enyo was up to before he would throw the fuma shuriken to slice through the theif's stomach and throw the four kunai to four points on either side of the thief in case he tried to move. As the kunai would get close, they would suddenly split off into 12 in total as one combined wall of kunai towards the thief. If it all worked out, the theif would be nothing but a corpse.

As Kanshi would begin to speak to Enyo he would listen, “I do, but there is a reason behind everything. Everyone has a motive for their doings regardless of how petty they are.” Enyo would say keeping his eyes on the building, He could sort of feel an ominous presence when Kanshi said these words, but he figured he had mistook what he said automatically going to a negative connotation. He dismissed the thought and continued the stakeout. Soon after that remark though the thief would appear and this is when Kanshi would hop into action. As he took out the large shuriken of which Enyo had never seen before he could see the moonlight shine off of the metallic texture sending Enyo a shiver up his spine which was his body signalling his natural instincts to be wary of this guy.
As Kanshi would begin to chuck the large shuriken at the thief Enyo would try to jump at his arms to throw the projectile off course, but he was too slow. Soon a ripping sound would be heard and the thud of a body falling to the concrete below. Luckily enough no one was about so no one would be traumatized by what they just seen. “W-what did you just do? Did you have to kill him.” Enyo would say getting a bit aggravated with this character. He realized that he could die at anytime messing around with this guy, but he cared not. He always made it a point to voice his opinions in any situation and this would be no different. “Haven’t we failed the mission? They asked us to catch him, I guess you could argue that we solved one of the problems which was him stealing but at the cost of his life.” Enyo would say unmuting himself in front of the Shinobi. Waiting for an answer he would look into the Shinobi’s eyes curious of what he had to say.
His rage could not be settled by just waiting for an answer though, he figured that anything this guy had to say wouldn’t be satisfactory so with a surge of chakra amplifying his cells Enyo would punch the shinobi with his right hand at the speed of 10 and strength of 50. If the shinobi were to be hit he would have several fractures in his jaw and cheekbone area, maybe even a broken Orbital.

Kanshi slapped away the fist at a speed of 42 and with a strength just harsh enough to ensure no damage would be dealt but the blow would be knocked away. He looked at Enyo with a confused expression and was almost happy that he hadn't thrown the four kunai. Still he had completed the mission and that was all fine with him. He looked at Enyo with a slightly worried expression.
"I thought you would be fine with it. No sense in arguing my point of view on killing versus yours and fighting is far from what I want to do. If you had an issue with killing, then I am sorry to come with you on this mission. I have been around awhile and grew a different view on how to go about things. Sorry to say, but I get used to fights I can barely stand a chance winning and where death of the other is the only way to save my own. The mission didn't speak of whether or not he was supposed to be left alive and said we could use psychical means. To me this mission is completed to the best it could be with minimal risks taken. Continue your attacks and I will treat you just as if you were another enemy of the leaf."
He would speak all of this and tried to sound as sympathetic as possible except towards the end. Kanshi would take one second to see what Enyo would do before walking over to retrieve his shuriken. Sure he was a bit harsh on the stranger, but if that thief came armed and attacked someone, it would have been on the two of them. Who knows it could have been a taijutsu specialist that could have broken every bone in their body before hiding the remains. Everything to Kanshi was just another possibility and risk he couldn't dare take. Maybe his squad was just softening him too much to see this.

Listening to this man speak he seemed to be some sort of realist, Enyo wasn’t necessarily disagreeing with his ideology, but the way he acted upon it is what bothered Enyo. As Enyo’s punch was deflected his eyes would simmer down, “So be it, I shall never forget this moment. Nor will I ever cower in front of you. Let’s go get the reward for the mission and be on our way.” Enyo said with a slightly monotonous tone.
Going back to the Ninja Academy with the dead corpse in tow Enyo and Kanshi would be rewarded, they didn’t even seem to care that he was dead.
“So, this is the outside world huh?” Enyo thought to himself as he walked out of the room, “I guess I’ll see you later Kanshi…”

Enyo's words were slightly chilling to Kanshi, but he put on a friendly face.
"Sounds fine to me."
He turned in the mission with Enyo and was delighted to get the reward. It had been a long day for Kanshi and seeing it ending in this bittersweet way was a bit weird. Enyo was the first to leave the room and even said goodbye. Kanshi spoke quickly with a slight sense of guilt he felt bad for feeling.
"I will see you some other time as well. Sorry for the conflict I made earlier, will be sure to keep this in mind in the future."
It was then it had hit him. Kanshi went from the cold hearted demon he once was to a human who actually cared for people that he barely knew. He felt almost a little bit strange to feel like this and almost felt disappointed in himself to soften so far. Kanshi left with the ryo and an unsettling new viewpoint to consider.
