What is this?

Shinoksay was making his rounds through the village... he had gone through the Okinaga district during a mission and then he had checked the village walls, in all of this he felt a drive to reinforce the village. To contribute to it's security and defenses. Thus far, he had noted that he was able to go about the village relatively undetected via underground and his abundant energy seemed to keep up with the exertion of the jutsu known as Hiding Like a Mole.... Something had changed, recently, about it however and as of late the way the moulded chakra interacted with the environment had slowly begun to make the jutsu less and less stable... first it lost the sensory aspects of it and now it seemed that he was no longer able to maintain the jutsu indefinitely, per-use, despite its constant draw of chakra and his ever abundant supply to meet its demand.

It was likely he would soon try to find an alternative jutsu to use, regardless of why this jutsu was destabilizing. In the meantime, however, here he was. In his patrol, he would be using chakra disguise to change his chakra signature to that of a random 10 chakra signature... since he cant suppress it all together while Using Hiding Like a Mole.

Shinoskay made his present route 45 meters below ground so that he could sense the minute seismic activity from the surface where each step from each person would ring down to him to give him a sense of each one as he made his pass through. His own vibrations caused a sort of earthen echolocation to send him signals about the underground structure beneath the surface of Konoha... His aim was to identify that which was right underneath the nose of its denizens... so close to each and every person yet just out of sight of the same.

Due to this, Shinoskay found he was getting a sense of basements, cellers, and most of the surface area structuring of places... He almost creeped himself out with this, no secrets sure but if he could do this and he was a low level no body genin then it was hard to imagine what the jounin... let alone the anbu.. could do. No secrets but then also no privacy.

In the Hyuuga district, there wasnt a whole lot of activity. This made sense because he didnt recall seeing a lot of the clan's members around the village either, though of course he wasnt privy to that Love was out collecting a wayward Shinobi.

However, their was one young boy... whatever he was doing at this very moment wasnt clear but Shinoskay at least picked up that he was present in the district but that it was only him to oversee the entirety of the district. Was he important? skilled? just a body left to keep the place clean while the important people of the clan go deal with something? Shinoskay could only speculate on this but he wouldnt dwell too long because eventually he would come upon something strange that stood out... there was a sealed chamber, cut off from most the rest of the distict and it seemed to have a lot of small metal objects filling its floors as well as  something very large and very metalic.

Nevermind that the space itself was already ten meters down from the surface, because of the very large metal thing... about 15 meters tall... the inner chamber also needed to be greater then that in order to accomodate the 15 meters tall object. Of all the underground spaces, this was the deepest one by at least 10 meters if not more.

What was the point in patrolling around for any strange activity if he didnt investigate any strange finds?

Shinoskay would make way to this object, driven in part by curiosity but also because it really looked suspicious how much it stood out.

He would approach it from the opposite end of its actual entrance, he felt that with all the loose metal objects on the ground of the chamber it was more than likely booby trapped and the safest way to approach it would be where he did not sense anything loose through his present seismic sense. The wall he felt would make the most sense to enter from also met his criteria for for seeming to be the safest, to be sure however when he got within a meter of passing into the room he would slowly form the hand swals for Clay Doll so that one would enter through the wall, forming from the wall as it entered, before Shinoskay did and if their were any traps than the doll would hit them first.

good thing too because the moment it touched the ground its lighter frame seemed to trigger some kind of pressure based balance plate in the room and immediately his seismic senses just exploded with activity as the puppet became barraged by spike sharps and god knows what else. it was a full ten minutes before random doll debree stopped triggering trap after trap before things started to settle. One thing troubled him now, however, as there seemed to be a strange and much more loose physical presence all throughout the room now... almost like a gas....

Fearing acid, but willing to believe it was some form of noxion or drug based gas, He decided to try one more doll... This time he formed the clay doll seals and then reached his hand out slowly till it was a few inches from the point where the wall ended and open space began. From just about where his hand was, a puppet doll began to form and shinoskay immediately attatching chakra threads to it before drawing his hand back to were there was no risk of exposure. The idea here was that if there was acid then the puppet would desolve and he wouldnt be able to control it... if it wasnt acid then he could figure it out from there.

Shinoskay would wait for the puppet to form, it did so at a speed lower then his so his sense of time in regards to it caused him to feel like he was waiting several long minutes for it to form before it finished.... Though, the fact that it even formed was a good sign. With it having done so, he moved his puppet into the room, more so then it already was, before testing his chakra threads from within his place in the earth. all seemed good, the next step would be to slowly move his hands into the room to see how the air felt... he would pause for a moment juse before passing the threshold before the sandly converterd earth would give way to the lack of support in the room. He would take a deep breath if he wasnt currently completely sorrounded by earth, but he still mentally braced himself before eventually sending his hand in... slowly... at a speed of 1, his hand would aganonizingly slowly enter the room untilll his fingertips were just exposed... with that, he waited... and waited... and felt.... and waited... His hand wasnt melting off, he didnt deel infected, he couldnt feel his blood dropping from his fingernails... to test to make sure they didnt go numb he collect some of the converted sand like earth between his thumb and index to feel it, nope not numb.

after several long minutes he eventually felt it was safe to try the rest of his body, so he would draw his head forwards and eventually he would find it freeing itself from the earth so that he could see into the room with both his seismic sense and his actual eyes. The boy noticed that there was a fine mist of dust all througout the room, that must have been the loose seismic presence he felt. All of the traps triggered must have kicked up dust as well as demolished the puppet till it was nothing but a cloud of dirt. Since Aryll didnt ever present she booby trapped the place with poison, that is all this was... mundane dust and a cloud of dirt from his destroyed puppet.

In the center of the room, middle of all the now dissarayed arrangements of tools and traps, there he it... the giant metal contraption. He had heard of this thing, many talked about a 15 foot talk metal monstrocity with a tail... it matched all of the other details they mentioned as well. For months people talked about how it had dominated the arena's and one or more jounins, how it was wielded by one of xyzers elites. There it was, right in front of him, it was facing the celler entrance so that if anyone came in then they would quickly come face to face with it so for him, it's back was to him and the large compartment used to operate it from was open and empty. Around the room there wasnt anyone either, thankfully this made it completely obvious and appearant he was the only one presently in this room. This didnt change how scary this was, why had she left it behind, why all the traps?

Now knowing exactly what he stumbled upon, and having not disturbed the actual entrance so he knew that unless people where actively using it no one would find out he had found it, he quickly made his puppet strike itself into pieces so that it would crumble somewhere near the middle of the room before then withdrawing from the room and leaving. He would report this to the kage, this could be another sign that there were still kiri ninja in Konoha, it wasnt his place to decide what to do with that information.

Shinoskay would go straight back the way he came, and from there he would make a straight line out of the section of the village till he was back in general space again... and then immediately he would take public routes to the kage's office to report this information as well as what it seemed to mean to him.
