Guarding the Parade

The street of the village where cast with a festive look the building draped with confetti ropes and ornate banners. Walking through the streets it seamed like the entire town was about through the village in preparation for the fire nations celebrations of a feudal lords visit.
Being issued with the task of guarding this visiting guest the task would offer unforeseen dangers with the whispers of a attack from a small group of unruly locals. Because of this fact the village issued both yogimiru and another village genin to escort the important figure.

Reaching the hotel in which the lord was staying the building was tall and lavish, the buildings substrate a rich sandstone. The doors plain glass showing the expensively dressed interior. Yogimiru would look around the area for either the client or the partner he was issued from the village.
Sat in front of the building was a elegant, luxurious hand horse carriage, dressed with lavish silks it certainly implied wealth. Feeling that this would most likely be the feudal lords transport he would stand outside the building, taking the tale of uzumaki from his weapons pouch he would preoccupy his time by reading while waiting for one of the pair to arrive.

Nekrun walked around the corner of the tall building admiring how nice and big it looked compared to his house. This must be the place he thought as he say the shimmering sides of the building in all its glory, as he rounded the corner he saw another genin standing next to the glass door entrance to the building reading a book by the entrance he started to wave at the genin while yelling "Hey you must be the other genin sent to guard the parade I'm Nekrun Uzumaki" He pointed to his headband as proof of his rank as a genin of konohagakure

Hearing a yelling towards his direction yogimiru would raise his head from his book, noting the number on the page before closing it and returning it too his left equipment pocket, giving a nod of acknowledgement as the young man approached yogi would respond as he meet his side "Hey Nekrun-kun, im Hyuuga Yogimiru. Its a pleasure to be working with you" he says extending his arm in nekruns direction for a hand shake.

If reciprocated yogimiru will shake the young mans hand, if not he would retract his hand and feel slightly foolish and a instant distaste for his partner. Breaking up the introduction of the pair a group of men dressed in black suits would emerge from the building. Surrounding a lone man, the group would escort him towards the carriage, shortly after taking the mysterious figure to the horse drawn transportation one of the guards approach the two.

Scanning the pair up and down the towering figure in his thirties would simply state, "Are you two who the village sent?," Wanting to take the lead yogi wouldn't give nekrun a chance to respond."Yes, we are, Im Hyuuga Yogimiru and this is Nekrun Uzumaki," the guard obviousiy looking down on the pair would respond merely with a scoff "Im glad they sent a pair of children"

Nekrun was happy to see he was accepted by his soon to be partner and gladly accepted the handshake. He quickly noticed the men in black walk out and the one come near them to talk his response to the guards words were "Don't take us lightly we're not just children we're fully fledged shinobi of the leaf village and proud of it so you better start showing some respect! They wouldn't have sent us if we weren't good at this now would they?" Said Nekrun obviously trying to make a point to the guard that they weren't just any kids, the guard took a look at Nekrun with his 6 foot 8 inch height and scoffed at him then walked back to the Feudal Lord to bring him back over to the two genin "Your a spry one aren't you now I expect you two to take good care of me on my way through the parade if you don't there will be problems got it?" Said the Feudal Lord when he got to the two Genin with all of his body guards standing behind him. Nekrun shook his head to say yes this Feudal lord was somewhat scarring him. Then the Lord looked over to Yogimiru for a answer and Nekrun bumped him with his elbow so he would answer.

Nekrun offers a swift response with a sharp retort to the patronizing statement, impressed yogi. Obviously proving his worth to the giant of a man he quickly shuffled back and gathered the feudal lord, standing at a total of 5"6 the lord was a short old man dressed in a find silk kimono "Your a spry one aren't you now I expect you two to take good care of me on my way through the parade if you don't there will be problems got it?" .

Nekrun having responded with a head nod, yogi would be blissfully unaware still somewhat shocked at nekruns seemingly blunt nature, feeling a slight nudge against him the young uzumaki would gesture him to respond. "Oh, Of course Lord-sama. We've heard some rumours but i assure your safety." he would spurt out with a bow of respect.

Completely opposed to the feudal lord system the idea of being born into wealth and thus being better than others disgusted him, knowing he would have to put up with such a person and defend him would pose a unique internal challenge. Solidifying this idea of nobility, the lord would quickly reply to yogi "You'd better hope so, im not paying your village for nothing." he would snap before making his way towards the activity.

Upon hearing that there were rumors about a gang being there Nekrun started grinning he was ready for a fight finally after so long of being a genin he didn't care who he was protecting as long as he could get a good battle in he looked over at the what the Lord would be riding in "We better start following them so we can watch for anyone that attacks if we don't notice them I can't imagine what that guy could do to us with all the power in his hands" Nekrun stated with a look of ambition on his face he really wanted to get this mission going so he could get at least one battle in before the end of the parade, this is going to be great my first D- rank mission! thought Nekrun as he started to talk. "Hey, Yogimiru- Kun should we split up to both sides of the caravan so we can see if anyone comes?"  Feudal Lord seemed to be getting impatient waiting for us to come over so he can start the parade.

If Yogimiru says yes then Nekrun takes the far side of the caravan while Yogimiru takes the closest side starting with, Nekrun started walking over to the caravan motioning for Yogimiru to follow him. If Yogimiru says no then Nekrun follows his lead on what he thinks they should do.

With the potential looming threat of an attack on the feudal lord yogimiru agreed with nekruns logic, offering a nod to imply his agreement the pair would quickly catch the horse drawn coach. Taking the rear of the carriage yogimiru kept a watchful eye on the area, making their way through the winding streets of the village the narrow alley ways and tall building tops offered a perfect vantage point for an ambush.

The streets filled with the majority of the village residence would make it next to impossible to watch for approaching threats. Having to trust in someone else yogimiru would slowly become paranoid as they traversed, wondering if his partner would be able to handle himself. Feeling he had no choice he activates his byakugan to calm his worry, now having a near perfect 360' vision of everything around him he was able to maintain a watchful gaze of the entire area around him.

Having to distinguish between bystanders and the possible threat was a incredibly difficult for the young man even when utilizing his byakugan. Noticing a few pedestrians displaying shady actions yogimiru would keep a watchful eye on them over the next passing kilometers.

Noting that the figures where still following the small convoy after three kilometers, yogimiru felt like he had to let his partner know, moving towards the front of the carriage he would meet nekruns side "Yo nekrun, I've noticed a few people following us for the past few kilometers, I wanna test it out. Lead the carriage down one of these side streets and keep a eye out" After hearing a response from his partner he would retreat to the back of the convoy once more maintaining a watchful gaze on the potential threats.

Nekrun quickly put a thumbs up in response to Yogimiru and turned the carriage down a side street then checked on the Feudal Lord "What do you want?" He said sounding almost drunk slurring his words "Just checking to make sure nothing happened in here" Said Nekrun before quickly going back to the front of the carriage and leading it down a side road where the carriage didn't have much room only had about 1 foot to each side making it hard for anyone to get through the sides they would have to go on the top. or from the other side of the street. Then Nekrun looked back to see that the 3 that were following us have started to gain on us and are getting closer by the second, He looked forward and saw another 3 coming from that side. Nekrun ordered the carriage to stop then grabbed a smoke bomb out of his bag and approached the three punks till he was about 3.5 meters away from them, he threw the smoke bomb at the punks feet then when they couldn't see, he used the clone jutsu to make 2 new clones so they didn't know which one was him.

His suspicions unfortunately correct, it wouldn't be long until the pair where approached, leading the carriage down the narrow alley way two groups of people appeared at either side of the street locking them into confrontation. Identifying a total of six attackers three for each to deal with nekrun would throwing down a smoke bomb.

"Shit whats he doing" yogimiru thought to himself as nekrun proceeded to form a basic clone jutsu, Having no choice but to leave his partner to his own battle he needed to focus his attention on the three men approaching from yogimirus side. Closing the distance at roughly two meters the men wielding baseball bats would charge into a assault.
Having no choice but to react yogimirus hand was forced assembling a relaxed gentle fist stance his doujutsu track each movement of the coming attackers. Moving in a spear head formation the trio will assault yogi leading with a main attacker and one to each the left and right attacking intermittently.

The first mans charge towards the boy was welcomed with a large powerful swing, aimed at the young mans torso yogimiru would have plenty of time to react. Using his trained ninja sense yogimiru would merely bend his body backwards easily avoiding the blow, Snapping back upright he would counter with landing a deadly blow (52 Speed) with the tenketsu needle to the attackers knee cap.

Sending a shocking strike of chakra through the common thugs tenketsu point would show the attackers body. Dropping him to his knee he would no longer be able to walk for the remainder of the bout, swing his bat in fear he swings his back in yogimirus direction. Retreating backwards with a swift back step (52 speed) he easily avoided the untrained assault. Showing a display of his agility and strength, the remaining two men showed a brief sign of their conviction wavering. Being given a few brief seconds  "Nekrun you okay up there", he yells quickly scanning over nekruns fight.

In the smoke the real Nekrun maneuvered to behind the thugs using the quiet footsteps technique so he could box them in as the smoke cleared and the thugs were focused on the clones Nekrun grabbed the thug on the far left's arm and broke it at the elbow joint quickly the thug  fainted and fell to the floor. The thug closest to Nekrun started running toward him to punch Nekrun with his right arm Nekrun dodged to the right to avoid the attack and kicked the thugs left knee cap so hard it broke the thug could no longer walk and fainted on the spot  at that point there was only one left the one left decided it would be a good idea to leave so he grabbed his friend that had his knee cap broken and ran as fast as he could out of there. Then Nekrun heard a yell "Nekrun you okay up there" it was Yogimiru Nekrun yelled back "Yeah just getting done the last one just ran off" Then Nekrun made his way back over to the carriage and met Yogimiru there they continued to bring the carriage all the way to the destination and the Feudal Lord was safe. They got off the carriage and talked to the Feudal Lord "Thank you, you saved me I'm sure we would have died if not for you I under estimated you and accept to say I was wrong" after that Nekrun spoke to Yogimiru "See you next time our paths seem to align and I hope to be stronger than you by that day" Nekruns said before he went back to konoha and his house to sleep
