Orokana sighed as he woke up that morning. It was time for more missions and or training. Both he hated to do since he rather just laze about, but he needed something to do and he was tired of living waiting for someone to find him, which was why he was now back in hoshi, and now also looking for a white flower. He was suppose to be with someone else on top of this but he didnt remember the name, all he remembered was that he would try and find a white rose like flower because they are important to making meds or something akin to that, he didnt really now nor care. He mumbled to himself as he slowly left his cafe, he got some tea before starting the mission after getting it. He mumbled and cursed as he was in the square, apparently there was a break in to steal the white rose he was looking for. Probably bandits or someone that thought stealing was a fun way to make money. Realistically that was dumb. From what he heard for people that investigated the area of the break in, no one could really find anything of who they are or where they went, but they know they havent left the city yet since all the gates and walls would have been locked down too fast. Which means now oro has to find people, and get the rose back. He rubbed the back of his head as he walked around aimlessly for awhile. He had no idea how to find people that didnt want to be found in hoshi since he has been here for a long time, but this was his job. He made sure to change his chakra level down to 0 in case the people he was looking for had a way to see chakra. He kept mumbled as he walked around ally ways, there was no sigh of anything until he found some people looking around an old house that needed some attention as it was basically falling apart. Windows were broken and boarded, and it had paint slowly go white from years of nothing. He scratched his head and sighed deeply as he figured this was either a drug den, or he found the place he wanted. They werent too far from him and he could easily get in with his genjutsu, they didnt give off a strong chakra signature so it wouldnt be hard at all. He sighed deeply again and shrugged. He did a couple of hand seals and the two people would look around confused, then slowly be sent to sleep. Perks of oro being oro. He quickly ran over to the pair sleeping and tried to hide their bodies by dragging them out of view.

Re: White Rose (Mission, Invite)

It seemed that the times where civilians despised shinobi, which the raven-haired ANBU Commander remember quite fondly, had long since passed. This morning a mission posted by one of the richest men in the Haven Country. Requesting a shinobi to be summoned immediately at his residence near the city square.
Something had been stolen from his estate. A flower of all things. Certainly not the most glamorous of missions, but it was the type this particular Hyuuga valued the most. The kind of mission that filled his pockets with easy money.
Two good books could be written describing that jewel of architecture which was the client’s manor. However, Ayato was too occupied looking for clues than to make a note in his mind of the client’s oaken furniture in excessive detail.
The description of the thieves and the sweep of the break-in scene were dead ends, nobody had seen the culprit and other than the mess of broken glass and destroyed locks they had made left no real clues.
When he stepped out he was of the house met with the sight of a plain old man dressed in a worn-out leather jacket. “Good you got the message,” Ayato said as the first beams of sunlight hit that pale complexion of his, making it look almost bronze.
“Difficult not to with you screaming into my head. I swear to god do this again and I’ll take the fucking Telepathy seal off.” The old sellsword said his voice a raging inferno. Ayato had Lance dig up his connections and find out why a flower was stolen instead of a ruby necklace or an emerald ring.
“Listen, kid, your flower. Ghost of a Rose is called. Somebody put a contract Black Market a couple of days ago for thirty thousand Ryo.”
“Really? We should have taken it for ourselves.” The Hyuuga japed with a chuckle but Lance did not share the amusement of being in the wrong business. “You are the strong silent type good for you,” Ayato said with a shrug.
"Did you learn what sort of potion want to make with it?" The mission brief had stated that Ghost of a Rose was some sort of rare herb for antidotes but the Byakugan heir didn't believe for a second it was stolen for that reason. "The only way the price makes sense is if the potion can summon Uchiha Madara to fight on your side.”
“I remember times in my life that a potion like that could have come in handy." Lance allowed. "But turns out your flower is a key component of the most potent poisons bombs ever known to shinobi." The old man said his sharp blue eyes met Ayato’s white ones.
“Of course it is,” Ayato responded with a sigh. What had started as a simple case of break-in had escalated to what could potentially be bioterrorism. Another day at the office for the young Hyuuga in his opinion.
“See what you can find on the buyer. I’ll try to pick up a trail on the thieves.”
As such the Taijutsu master prepared himself for any number of complication and exercised unusual caution when it came to anything that felt wrong. However, despite the worries that weighted those thin shoulders of his, for the better part of the day, everything in the area had greeted him with a sense of normality. Nobody has seen anyone walking around with a rare flower in hand.
When he started questioning eyewitnesses, it had just been the local farmers and shop owners putting their stalls together, but before long it was hard to see an empty street. It was in City square that life bloomed the greatest after all.
When this particular shinobi walked right by one of his favorite places in Hoshi, he found hard to resist temptation. His entry through the bakery's wooden door was followed by the toll of bells. The smell of freshly baked bread met his nose like a sudden gust of wind. “Welcome, what are you having?”
“The usual,” Ayato said and watched the baker reach for the oven and pull out a sweet bun. The owner had suggested that the second time he came here. The Hyuuga tried to do his best not to frown as he placed the money on the counter. He had not realized how hungry he was until he began to chomp down, spreading bread crumbs all over the floor.
“Do you always eat with such haste m’ lord?” Ayato did look like a lord today, dressed in black velvet tunic emblazoned with the Hyuuga crest on the breast pocket in silver thread. He wore the finest trousers a shinobi had the right to wear and gray leather boots that reached underneath his knee. He surely did not eat like a lord.
“Usually yes. I don’t remember ever been taught I’d eat in a fancy restaurant with candles while looking for a bunch thieving scumbags.” Ayato paused for a moment and glanced at the stocky man with disinterest. “You wouldn’t happen to see them now, would you?”
“No m’ lord. What did they steal?” The man asked, scratching the stubble of his chin. “A flower.” Ayato realized how ridiculous that sounded the moment the world exited his lips. Yet the man did not laugh or flinch. “A white rose perhaps?” Ayato blinked dumbfounded but responded with a courteous nod, as it benefited his status. The man who had the lead, should not show emotions.
“You see m’lord yesterday at Inn of The Margrave, Old Bill was making a big ruckus about how he had fooled a fool. A guy dressed in a hat with bells sort of fool. He was looking for a white rose and Old Bill told him where to find one in exchange for Ryo."
Candy the Fool was the only shinobi in Hoshi known to wear a jester outfit in public. A lowlife scumbag with rotten teeth that was rumored to tell a bad joke to his enemies right before he smashed their head with a mace. Reports listed him as a missing-nin, believed to have joined Valen Akari. But apparently he had preferred to stay back in Hoshi and cause trouble to the village he once served. By all accounts a much ripper target for the godforsaken wasteland known as Sunagakure that Valen was leading his band of traitors to. If it had indeed been him behind the Ghost of a Rose heist, it was better to proceed with caution, the man was known for his unpredictability and surprise attacks.
“Did he mention a place, where he found that fool?"
Ayato tried to curse aloud as he leaped from rooftop to rooftop but the wind swallowed his voice, and from then on he remained silent. When he was near the edge of the village and the old, abandoned warehouse came into view, his movements came in a sudden halt and his chakra suppressed. He had let Lance know, and the Mercenary was on his way.
The taijutsu fighter's Byakugan scouted the area and caught movement both inside and outside of the warehouse. There was one man guarding the front door and two more the back exit which opened in the alleyway that Ayato was watching down at right now. Three more inside. Half a dozen of them in total.
It was then that Ayato noticed someone else appearing down in the alleyway. "Hope he is the buyer.” That would have made things so much easier and also Ayato the luckiest man alive. In other words not bloody likely. Almost immediately the guards dropped to the ground head first inexplicably. "What did I walk in just now?" Ayato thought to himself as he watched the young man dragging one of the heavy bodies away.
The back exit of the building, two meters behind Oro's location opened with a loud crack of the hinges and a piercing voice echoed in the area. "What is red and bad for your teeth?" The man in jester outfit flew at the boy with a steel mace in hand. The bells of his hat tolling softly.
“A Brick!”
Suddenly the air erupted with projectiles and Candy's chest exploded with holes. Ayato kept the palm of his hand targeted on that piece of shit as he staggered back with every projectile - Four Sky Palms- that took flight. Finally, Ayato was out of charges and his target was sitting on the floor dumbfounded. The Hyuuga had emptied his charges but kept aim until the joker fell dead.
"I haven't blasted anyone away like this for more than two years," Ayato confessed to Orokona standing on his right, his face still like porcelain mask. "It's funny how you miss the little things."

Orokana grunted as he dragged the bodies into the ally he yawned and rubbed his head. He hated the fact that people are so heavy. He sighed and looked around in there pockets looking for something about getting a key to unlock. He mumbled and couldnt find a anything which would mean that the front door was open. Which was weird to Orokana but that is well enough. Orokana listened to someone talk as he thought they where making a bad tasting joke. He turned around just in time to see the jester get a couple new holes in his body. he looked at the body then looked at the man he didnt know. He noticed his chakra before the jester did anything thanks to his skills. Orokana rubbed the back of his head and nodded a bit looking at the body then at Ayato. "Well least you are having fun here. Im guessing youre also looking for that rose huh." he rubbed his head and looked at the warehouse. He mumbled a bit and looked at Ayato again. "If you want to keep people busy I am going to be sneaking in and getting that flower, one moment." Orokana waved to him and fixed his cloak as he activated it and walked into the warehouse. He slowly walked on its sides and looked around. He noticed some thugs around with some bats and stuff, and a shit ton of boxes around. All unlabled and all looking like they wouldnt have been here long. he sighed as he walked around them, his eyes could see the vibrations of the men talking and walking in the air so it made it easy for orokana to sneak around. He mumbled quietly under his breath and looked around the warehouse, then he saw the dumb white rose in a back room. He knew he was right since there was two men infront of the door looking around. He rubbed his chin and used his chakra to see how much chakra them themselves had. Which wasnt that much, they seemed to be brutes and muscle heads. He rubbed his head and did a couple of hand seals as he watched the men look around confused. It took a couple seconds but soon they passed out. He mumbled and ran out to search them for the keys so he can go in the room. He mumbled and opened the door looking inside to see a couple of roses there. some not even fully grown. He sighed deeply and swore as he pulled the guys into the room. He then grabbed the flowers, thankfully they where all in the same pot. But it was heavy for Orokana. "Fucking... plants..." he grunted and stumbled out of the room, making sure to close the door. He looked around and sighed thinking of what he should do. So he just shrugged and ran down the hall back to where he was. He ran at full sprint as he pasted people and they where confused for a moment then they started to follow. The thugs in the main area of the warehouse could hear the yelling and got ready to grab Oro. But Oro saw them and breathed in deeply, he made the pot of plants fly in the air as he threw them and did a couple hand seals. He then puked out smoke as the area around them was quickly covered in smoke and hard to see in and around. Even if they had chakra vision all they could see is the chakra of his smoke. He grabbed the pot before it could crash and grunted as he ran past everyone and yelled at ayato as he kept running past. "All yours!" He grunted and kept running with the flower pot going to the hospital where they where before. He ran as he mumbled and panted, the pot was very heavy for him and running wasnt something he was good at. He sighed deeply as he ran. Soon he was in the hospital and he rubbed his neck and looked around. The hospital was empty as he slowly walked with the plants. The nurses and doctors looked at him and told him where to go since they saw the white flowers, some looked happy as well. He walked to the back of the hospital where he was met with a older doctor. he greeted oro and acted very nice with him as he gestured for him to follow. Orokana asked if he could put the flowers down but the doctor said they will be placed back where they should go. Orokana sighed and nodded as he walked, his arms feeling like jello. He walked around more as the doctor talked about random nonsense. he yawned until he found himself at the location. Orokana put the pot into the room as other doctors started to look at the leaf and grade it as he chuckles. He then waves and starts to walk out of the hospital as he rubbed his head sighing. He was done with all the heavy lifting as he sighed deeply. He walks back to where he got the mission to talk to the lady and tell her what happened. He also kinda wanted to know who that guy he met was since he had very little knowledge of who he was. He talked to the lady and she didnt really have much about the guy. He had no idea who was the man. He seemed to have the same kind of eyes love did and he seemed to enjoy punching things a bunch. He rubbed his head and sighed as all he could think of was he didnt want to piss ayaot of so he didnt get punched to death. He put his hands into his pocket and rubbed his book. He didnt use it this mission since he didnt see a need for it but at least he didnt need to spend a lot of energy fighting. Which means he could now just sit down.

Re: White Rose (Mission, Invite)

A steel mace rolled on the cobblestone street of the back alley when a motionless limping hand let go of it. Like that, the main bad guy was out for the count. Ayato observed the empty eyes of the useless heavy corpse that was Candy the Fool. Blood dripping down from those rotten teeth of his. He wondered if he’d have to make a trophy of that head later when he cashed in the bounty. Perhaps the signature orange and purple jester hat, would suffice.
“Well least you are having fun here.” The voice of the boy interrupted Ayato from his private musings. “I'm guessing you are also looking for that rose huh." he rubbed his head and looked at the warehouse. "If you want to keep people busy I am going to be sneaking in and getting that flower, one moment."
“For someone who almost had his head smashed in your certainly are quite comfortable yourself.” The Byakugan heir let out. A thank you would have been nice, then again Ayato of house Hyuuga never did that job to be thanked. There was no time for pleasantries indeed, someone definitely had heard of that noise, there was no time to wait for Lance’s backup either.
And of course, it was the kid who was going to sneak in while he did all the fighting.
The boy had given himself away as a Hoshigakure shinobi by sharing details of the mission. Well, having his skull almost shattered to pieces by the missing-nin was also a great help in figuring that out. The kid had some skill to track down the bandits to the warehouse, or perhaps he happened to walk right in the middle of the fray by sheer luck. Either way, he could very well make a decent distraction for Ayato to blank the bandits as he had done a minute before, allowing the taijutsu expert to take out the boss without any drama.
The young Hyuuga took cover behind an old wine barrel his chakra suppressed and crouched on his knees. His white eyes locked on the boy who did some shenanigans and hid his presence. The cloak he was wearing over his shoulders some weird effect, as when he walked by the bandits they did not seem to notice him. Whatever it was, it would not be able to filter his presence from the all-seeing eye of Ayato Hyuuga.
However, no one in the bandit crew of Candy the Fool had to a Byakugan to notice the kid running across the warehouse with the flower pot after successfully getting it.
“Get that little cocksucker!”
One of the bandits screamed and two of them trailed after Orokona as he made to exit the warehouse. They nearly caught up to him, and the taijutsu expert had half a thought to help them by tripping the loudest shinobi on the planet as he ran past him and to the back exit.
Instead, he pointed the palm of his at a pile of crates. A wind projectile took flight from his arm, exploding at the crate in the bottom causing them to fall down and block the back door immediately after Orokana had escaped. A muffled grunt left the mouth of one of the bandits, as the dust took flight in the air followed with the noise of wooden boxes meeting the floor.
The front door of the warehouse was a massive thing of reinforced steel and was barred from within. All escape routes had been cut off, and no one would go after Orokona as long as this particular Hyuuga was drawing breath. Priority was the completion of the mission, and he did not see how letting them capture Orokona would bring it any closer.
"The flower better be in the hands of the client, once I'm done here...If I am done here."
Bearded men dressed in wool and boiled leather surrounded him. Showering the ANBU Commander curses and promises of retribution. Which might have been laughable had they not holding in their arms swords and shields of castle forged steel.
Too good the weapon for thieving pieces of shit.
It was a few minutes while before the screams and curses that rang inside of the warehouse died down. Ayato was resting those noble butt cheeks of his on a crate in the corner of the room when he heard a sound from underground. A hole was created upon the floor of the warehouse and Lance appeared from within like a mole.
"Seems like you've been busy." Lance took a good look of the useless heavy bodies, and then to the particular Hyuuga who fed them to the floor. "Are you legs hurting kid?"
Ayato made to stand up on his feet. “No” he replied.
Lance strode toward him, crisp brown leathers whispering faintly as he moved. He was a compact man of nearly seventy years, spare and hard with a bald head and sharp blue eyes. Ayato had never been so relieved to see the eyes of the grizzled sellsword that was like a grandfather to him. “The truth now.” He queried.
“A bit tired.” His arm burned from the weight of the Gentle Fist projectiles, and he was starting to feel the bruises now that the battle was done. A particular one under his cheek received from the shield bash of one of the bandits hurt the worse. If it was his pride granting him that stabbing pain or the broken cheekbone he could not say.
“The bloody flower is not here,” Ayato admitted, as he stepped over the body of one of the bandits. "There was somebody else here. Some kid, Genin or Chuunin I believe." He was about to explain the rest before Lance interrupted him.
"I know, he was hard to miss running across half the city with a pot of flowers in his arms. I had a shadow clone follow him, in case he was thinking of ripping us off and sell it to the black market."
The Mercenary's distrust to the shinobi of this village was not without reason. The likes of Kenshin Uzumaki and Valen Akari and their disgusting actions had tainted the reputation of Hoshigakure. The Byakugan heir was tasked with fixing the mess these two traitorous scumbags had left behind and to rebuild the village forces from his new position. And he vowed to do so. A Hyuuga of the Byakugan with the blood of heroes a thousand years past running through his veins was always the finest choice to lead. And even though he was far from the home long lost to him, Ayato never forgot who he was.
“And? I hope you did not kill him. I've gone out of my way twice to keep him alive today.” Ayato let out.
"No, I did not. Turns out he is not that interesting. He delivered the flower to the client who was doing his shift at the hospital.”
The young man sighed in relief, on mission accomplished. Maybe one day he'd get to know the unnamed shinobi who he put his trust in and did not live to regret it. But not today. There was a broken cheekbone that required his attention first.
