Letting off Steam {Yurei Ookami & Kizmaru}

The night was beautiful. Dazzling stars danced within the dark nothingness. Winking at the surface of the world, and everything that inhabited upon it. To some the air would hold a chill to it, as the atmosphere possessed a soft cold breeze that awakened the surroundings. Whispering within the ears of nocturnal beings who desired to spend their time amongst the night. An owl hooted within the twisted branches of a lonely cherry blossom. A young woman shared her night with these nocturnal beings, resting on the surface of a rather large boulder. Within the area was a small spring from where she had recently bathed. The water was dazzling, and very very cold. The white haired woman didn't completely understand why the cold brought her such comfort. To her the freezing droplets felt refreshing against her smooth skin.

Now she sat amongst her boulder, her wet curtain of hair slowly drying by the soft breeze. This time she was dressed in night attire. A light turquoise gown of silky fabrics that hugged her small petite frame, and stopped at mid-thigh. She still tied her weapon pouches along her upper leg after her bath. Now she was simply enjoying the darkness. Meditating peaceful as the moon washed over her pale form. Within time the moon grew dim, as if losing life, as colors peeped from the horizon. The sun was awakening from it's nap and proceeded to chase away the darkness. The dancing stars faded within the nothingness. Dawn was approaching.

Ookami allowed her lashes to rise, as her blue eyes opened. Gazing upon the clear surroundings. Her old clothes laid to the side near the lovely spring. It was about time she headed back to the civilization, but something held her. She felt intense energy bubbling within her. It was been some time since she last switched, and she knew Yurei was growing impatient. Here soon Ookami would need to let go of her control, and burn off some of this energy with some training. Perhaps there would be someone else who needed to let off some steam as well.

A loud snoring could be heard through out the night of the Kage's mansion. Who could it be but one, young, overworked Mizukage  fast asleep over his desk. He was feeling pretty tired from all the paperwork he had to sort out as well as the studying he had to do in order to keep up with certain responsibilities. Secretly, he dreads the day where he has to attend political meetings and states what he thinks would be his best interest in the future of Kirigakure. Shivering and shuddering in his sleep, he awoke with a sudden jolt before looking around his office briefly. Letting out a sigh of relief, he checked outside to see if he could guess what time of day it was.  It was easy for him to tell since he could see the sun barely rising from the outskirts of of his village. What this means to him was it was the crack of dawn. This frustrated Kizmaru a bit cause it means he had slept through the night instead of enacting his plan of breaking it in order to make a dent in all the paperwork that had been piling up in the time the Kage has been gone. 

This was unfortunate but at least he was able to take a good nap, albeit it was by accident. Well, there's nothing he could do about it now. He thought about going back to work but just thinking about it frustrated him so instead he decided he would take a break and go for a stroll. This was the perfect time for him to do so as he could get away with leaving the mansion for a little while without somebody or something nagging in his ear about how much work he has to do. First thing was first, he noticed he was still wearing his Kage attire. As much as he loved the authority it presented him, he preferred to walk around incognito instead, posing as just a normal villager or shinobi walking around town. It gave him peace of mind as well as the freedom of not being swarmed by the village folks problems that are probably in the piles of paper work he had to look forward to doing. Shivering once more, he quickly changed into his usual attire of a yellow shirt and dark, navy blue pants with a Jounin Flak jacket above his attire. He placed his headband over his forehead before fastening his ninja tabi and proceeded to head out the door from the office.

Making his way outside, he decided to place his hands into his pockets as this was a normal action of his that gave him comfort. It did grant him some yet, he couldn't help but feel his body grow stiff from all the sitting he had done over the past couple of weeks. Since he was in the office now, he barely had time to go out and train and it looks like he wouldn't have free time for some time now. He hoped he could clear up all the excess baggage soon so he can go back to enjoying the finer things in life such as earning money and being able to relax after a hard mission from time to time. Walking through the streets of Kiri, Kizmaru had spotted a familiar face. It was the young woman he had gone a mission with previously and he figured he see how she was doing. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't but at this point in his life, even Kizmaru needed any excuse to interact with somebody else. Pulling his right hand out of his pocket and lifting it into the air, he waved the young woman to see if she would remember her.

The white haired kunoichi allowed herself to experience the breaking of dawn. As the sun awakened the sky above her, with the colors of orange and red. Her twinkling, crystal blue eyes gazed into the horizon as her face remained blank. She inhaled a deep breath, her lungs expanding, before finally sliding herself down from the bounder. Ookami made her way towards where her old clothing laid. Gathering the clothes of what seemed to be her usual under attire that she wore underneath her kimonos. The attire that resulted into black shorts and a black tank top of flexible material, with some fishnet leggings for underneath.

After folding her old attire within her arms, Ookami would finally proceed to making her way back to Kirigakure's civilization. The closer she ventured towards the civilization, the more the sounds of crashing waves could be heard as they splashed onto the border harbors. A soft breeze tickled the tip of her mousey nose. The hem of her turquoise gown danced along her thighs in rythm to the breeze. Her mind began to fill with thoughts.

Ookami's childhood was an experience of being told she was a cursed child. The reason her sister was stillborn. Her mother had no one else to blame except the one who was still breathing. Pride overpowered her mother, causing her to refuse to believe her body was unable to give birth to health twins. Ookami lived with that guild pushed on her as a child. Beating herself up just to try pleasing her terrifying mum. But it was never enough, her mother was never satisfied. That was until her mum was able to be rid of her forever.

Ookami had Yurei now. Her childhood didn't seem to bother her anymore. To her it was just merely an unfortunate event that gave her a backbone. She was used to being a disappointment to the point to where she expected it at all times. If somehow anything ever became too much, and she was no longer able to push away haunting emotions. Yurei would come and take over for her. To chase away her dark twisting demons.

The kunoichi was deep within her thoughts. To the point that she barely realized that she had entered the civilization, and was now upon the streets of Kirigakura. Perhaps she would train in a bit, or maybe another mission. Her mind wandered aimlessly as her crystal eyes so happened to land onto a familiar form. The raise of his hand as he sent a wave to her in recognition, seemed to bring Ookami back to the world around her. She would be somewhat surprised that anyone would bother to interact. Ookami would raise her hand in return, responding with her own little awkward wave

Judging from her weak wave, she either remembered him and didn't really want to associate with him at the moment or she was just unnaturally shy and didn't know how to respond any other way. Well, Kizmaru wasn't very incandescent himself so he figured it was the latter unless the young lady stated otherwise. Approaching her at his own leisure, he looked her up and down, noticing she was very cute, almost like a little sister. As far as Kizmaru knew, he didn't have a sibling and was an only child but that didn't really matter at this time and place. He figured he would catch up with her and see how she was doing after they had finished that mission of theirs. "So, what brings you around these parts of town," Shichiro said, a hint of curiosity in his tone. He personally didn't have any plans of his own other than roam around the village but he was lucky enough to come across somebody he might know.

Thinking back to the particular mission in question, he wasn't really sure what her personality was like since he was mroe focused on completing the objective and leaving as soon as possible. He didn't remember why he was in such a hurry but it probably had something to do with a scheduled meeting or two. Either way, he figured he'd make up for it today if he could help it by figuring out what she was strolling around town for.

Ookami couldn't help by feel a little surprised as the ninja named Kizmaru decided to approach her, after them exchanging the wave gestures. She would have the respect to halter her walk and turn her attention towards him. Seeing as his eyes seemed to size her up. At first Ookami couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. Her shyness would start to reveal itself, but only slightly for a couple of seconds. The paleness of her soft cheeks would flush with a faded rose pink. "I . . . uh . ." Her little voice attempted to respond to his simple question. In most cases Ookami could be blunt and mellow, but her hidden shyness was always an easy weakness. But one that wouldn't immobilize her.

The young woman quickly collected herself. She pushed away the slight flush that heated her cheeks and focused on her words. "I was spending some time meditating . . away from the civilization." Her voice would be more steady now. Ookami's icy hues looked from his feet to his shoulders, and then to his face. Attempting to read his complexion. After their last mission she had felt that perhaps her switch had made him uncomfortable. There wasn't much she could do about that though. Ookami embraces her other side and uses it as a backbone. Not many would understand that it's an entirely different self. One that at least had the blunt similarity if Ookami so desired to be. "What about you? Doesn't seem like you have much of a path destined at the moment."

Listening to the girl with the utmost attention, Kizmaru lent his ear to the girl. At first, he heard her begin to start a sentence which already seemed to have fallen short. Maybe the girl was incredibly shy outside of doing a mission and there was nothing wrong with that. Still, he found it a little amusing for her to have such a nature. Well, he chuckled at the first time she dropped the sentence before listening to her try again. He didn't intend to offend her so he made sure it as clear cut as he could to make sure it came off as playful. after getting an actual answer from her, he smiled warmly and said, "Oh, that's good. It's nice to see fellow shinobi go out and clear their head every now and again. I do that too occasionally to get away from my work. Right now, i was going to find a place around here to get something eat and do some light training to make sure I work out the kinks I wouldn't mind if you tagged along. I could use the company every now and again." Kizmaru said, offering an invitation towards her. He didn't mind enjoying somebody's else every now and again besides his wife. 

He had hoped it didn't come off as forward or anything but he felt like he didn't really get to know her during that mission. Regardless, if she accepted, they would go and find a shop to dine in together. If not, Kizmaru would bid her farewell and continue on with his day. Either way, he was in a pretty good mood and decided he'd finish his break regardless if he had company or not. Although, he somewhat hopes she would accept his offer, he could use a good conversation before his workout.If not, Kizmaru would go about his day regardless since ti was no big deal for him. With that, Kizmaru started to head towards his destination whether the female accompanied him or not.
