Task:
In the Land of Iron there is a peak that is considered to be the highest peak in all the realms. There, near the summit, is a grove that holds the remains of an ancient asteroid. The metals found from it are extremely valuable. Find a way to reach the summit and bring down some pieces of the asteroid with you and you’ll be rewarded handsomely.
The joyous spirit of the holidays had cursed the redheaded with the notion that he should take this time of the year to express himself in a positive light, even go as far as share his good fortune with those around him. Kaito did not know how a genjutsu worked as subtly as to not be detected by Sharingan or Byakugan, or the nature of the Space-Time technique utilized to pass on the message onto his hands, or teleport him from the scorching deserts of Sunagakure into the brisk ice-peaked and snow-kissed lands of Iron. The redhead had been pacing for a while now down the street, dining a thick furred jacked that someone handed to him in a gesture of charity. The Land of Iron had something to it that Kaito could not describe, something that carved out a place in the world. Perhaps it was the architecture; given that the Land of Iron had no ninja within it, just Samurai Lords, perhaps the architecture reflected their inability to pursue across high rooftops, and as such everything was one story tall. There was also a sense of “tradition” to it, as if newer techniques had never been tried around here, everything from the good buildings to the poorer ones apparently having been built by the same carpenter with the same sense of style.
Kaito was hailed by a lad along the road; something about the meteorite. Meteorite? The meteorite, which caused the mountain to smoke. Kaito looked up; indeed, from the peak of the closest mountain, a column of smoke could be seen through the falling flakes of snow. Perhaps some of these flakes were actually ash? It was hard to tell.

Time seemed to pass so quickly this time of year, it was dark more than it was light. Ryuzaki returned home from the Kumo village after his daily mission, he prepared himself for a night of training. Today he was going to work on ninjutsu, so he was less armed than he would normally be, just a weapon pouch strapped to his left leg with a few defensive kunai and shuriken. Ryu made his way to the front door of his mountainous home and as he slid it to one side the scape in front of him was that of snow, Ryu stepped through bewildered, he turned back around and the door seemed to shut itself, then disappear, he was no longer in his home, but a strange, cold land. A slip of paper appeared in his hand, he unfolded it and began to read. He had been tasked with finding a crashed asteroid and hauling some of the parts back to the village below. The thought crossed Ryu's mind that all fo this was strange, but he was never one to pass up an opportunity to put in some hard work.
Ryu heard the bustling of a nearby village, he started to head that way, assuming that was the aforementioned village in the letter. Ryu entered the village and headed straight for the nearest clothing store, he paid a few ryo to acquire a scarf, hat and gloves, his body not being used to this climate, the clothes he already had on certainly were not appropriate but he would make do. Up ahead he saw a bewildered-looking man with red hair, a note similar to his in his hand. Ryu thought to himself that he properly had a similar look on his face, maybe this man had been similarly tasked as Ryu. Walking up to the man he called out a greeting "Excuse me, mister, do you know anything about a meteorite?"

The year was running out, and indeed the year was near its’ end. The void and shapeless nature had move him into a strange land, a land where everything seems to be the same. It was not his doing, even though he had little knowledge about the art of space and time, his knowledge has too little to be able to move him through the world of space and time. Now an inhabitant of the land of iron , the hyuuga couldn't remember the past nor see the future, all his memory was radiating around the present. He knew just what to do. Yes , the highest of all peaks, a grove that holds the remain of the ancient asteroid . The far distance smoke unveil its presence and location. Sakuragi activated his byakugan and looked up the grove, several meters away from him. He would begin to head towards the direction. As he walked, he would come across another two individual in the strange land. The deserted land didn't give Sakuragi any sign of the presence of people within the village before she showed him these two. The first guy was red hair with a fine looking face and the second was fairly decent looking too. The hyuuga would continue to head to the grove’s direction unless his attention was called for or he needed something from them.

His hand clutched a small amount of the earth as the young lord kneeled upon mother nature's blouse. With a ruffling motion, the palm of his hand would shuffle the material it held, the ridges and gaps between his fingers filtering out all particles that were not as fine as the sand and dirt that returned to the ground. Wan opened his hand, examining the remaining contents as the wind sent breezes throughout his position, his clothes and hair ruffling gently as the Senju analyzes the various material left within the palm of his hand. Something to him seemed odd...not necessarily alerting or alarming but rather unusual. Bits of foreign material had been scavenged from the loose dirt he had just picked up, and although he was unaware of the material it was much denser and metallic than the rest of the terrain around him. "Much denser rock, not like the common iron that's infused in this region. Darker, yet it's not in abundancy...maybe it was shattered and sent out into various places like shapnel." The small quantity he would inspect was not enough to draw a solid conclusion, Wan tossing the small pebbles back into the wind as he would take a stand from his position. Beginning to assume that he was in the right place a small smile would gash across his face. He was visiting the Land of Iron in search of solidifying the rumors of there being a very valuable material in its location. Although this was the first time he had been in the Land of Iron the information given to him was solid enough: Simply make your way towards the highest peak near the summit, look around for a grove which would be hard to miss due to its size caused by an asteroid. With no real reason as to wanting the material other than the monetary value, he was more-so looking to sell whatever he would find, hoping to pocket any Ryo from it to help Konohagakure during its renovations. Wan would continue along his path with a set course to reach the highest peak, the wind at his back while he pressed on to his destination.
Along the way, Wan would begin to faintly make out what appeared to be people in the distance. They were at the time too far away for him to properly see, however, he did not expect them to be anyone he had known. It was common for the villages to hear tales as these in unison, and as such the villages would normally send shinobi out on the same mission to return with spoils for their home. Wan would continue to walk in their direction, their appearances becoming more distinguishable the closer he got. One had red hair, fluttering in the wind as his own would although the man's hair was much longer than his own. There was also another man near him, the Senju unsure as to if they were together or just simply talking. "I wonder if they have the same task as I." he would think to himself, deciding to investigate the matter more closely since he did not get any hostile vibes coming from the two or nearby. Making his way over to them he would utter out a 'Hello.' before fully reaching them, wanting to make his presence known so they wouldn't feel like they were being snuck upon. Once reaching their location he would continue with his greeting. "Sorry if I've interrupted a personal conversation. I was wondering if by chance any of you were heading towards the summit? I'm making my way to the highest peak here, was rather surprised to see a couple more were going the same direction so I assumed you all were doing the same."

As he pondered on the nature of the falling particles, someone approached him, and he felt like he recognized them. It had been a peculiar feeling since starting these missions; he would sometimes come across someone who he had no recollection of, yet he felt he knew them. The lad asked him about the meteorite, and he shook his head. “Sorry kid, I think I know as much as you at this point”, he said as he shrugged. He noticed the Kumogakure headband, and pointed to his own. “So, we’re villies, huh?” As he spoke, plumes of vapor rose into the air from his mouth, evidencing the cold and bitter weather of the region. “I am Noboru Kaito. And who might you be”, he asked in a friendly manner, extending his hand as a sign of respect between the two, and affording him the trust of reaching out without fear of repercussion or attack.
As they spoke, another lad who Nobo was fairly certain he had seen before passed them by, apparently oblivious to their presence. He felt it was weird, but paid no mind to this, letting the boy walk his way onto the peak as he wished to do. Before long, another voice echoed in the close distance, someone calling out to the duo standing among the snow. Fortunately, Kaito felt very at ease in the present circumstances, aware that the Hollykage would not allow any harm to come to his supporters. The lad had long hair and a well kept trimmed beard. “You are correct, we are here about the meteorite up in the mountain. We just don’t have a clue, but, I suppose the easiest way to figure out the truth of this is to get to the top. My name is Noboru Kaito”, he said, extending his hand once again as a sign of mutual trust and respect.

Ryuzaki returned his hand to his Kumo village senior and introduced himself "I am Ryuzaki Nara, Ryu", a strange sensation of deja vu hit him as he shook the man's hand firmly, he also turned to the other one who had approached them and offered his hand once again introducing himself by his full name and then the preferred shorthand. As he did this a man walked past them, apparently either not noticing them or showing them no interest, once again he was hit by a spear of deja vu, not for the person but for the action, he passed it off, he had met many people in his life and this happened from time to time. Ryu turned and followed the man who had ignored them, although he had paid them no attention, he was apparently heading in the correct direction for their mission, they need to head up the mountain, reach the summit and retrieve a piece of a meteorite. The mountainous area although covered in snow was a terrain Ryuzaki was very used to, he pressed on following after the silent boy. As he did so he thumbed around in his weapon pouch, checking over the supplies, he did so very obviously and sluggishly, making sure the others were aware that there was no hostile intent in doing so. Turning to the dark-haired wayfarer and the red-haired Kumo-nin behind him "Looks like the summit is just ahead, we should reach it shortly, maybe we should prepare for trouble" He said his eyes narrowing, there had been no mention of adversaries, but Ryu was always expecting trouble.

The hyuuga's long walk would come to a stop when he began hearing voices behind him, he had notice these two guys before, but he didn't pay much attention to them, because he thought they were just some random people going about their business. The hyuuga would turn to look at their direction, clearly, the white eyed was ahead of them. Perhaps, these two knew each other before. As for Sakuragi, he couldn't remember a thing about the world he was teleported from, all his memory seems to be locked in this small world, the land of iron. His memory aged from the time he was brought into this mysterious land up till now. The hyuuga knew the peak was ahead and he could see the ancient asteroid, thanks to his dojutsu, but if these two guys are here for the same thing, they probably haven't noticed what the peak holds. Their eyes looks no where near the byakugan, and the only dojutsu that gives such perfect vision is the byakugan. Sakuragi would wait a bit for the two men to catch up with him, if they'd catch with him on time, he would greet them both and ask if they were also looking for the asteroid, but If they sleep on it, they would leave them behind and continue his lone walk.

Shaking the hand of Geralt of Rivia Wan bowed in respect to the noblemen, his introduction to Noboru Kaito being a pleasant and uplifting one. He acknowledged the firm grip of the handshake which ensured a good amount of trust in the man. "Nice to meet you, Noboru." The Wayfarer would say, although a shinobi title was not told by the red-haired lad he loved to exchange his title with others, knowing that he was surrounded by a couple of men who were simply on the same task as he was. "My name is Wan Senju, Hokage of Konohagakure. I share the same interests as you, Noboru and Ryuzaki.", turning his head to look at the other man standing alongside them. The other two were rather silent, however all together they needed to make it to the highest peak in the lands. As much as they wanted to relax to a few games of Shogi and tea night approached quickly, leaving no time for meddling around the campfire telling stories. Ryuzaki mentioned preparing for trouble, something Wan acknowledged since he too would always want to prepare for the worst, rather it is rogue shinobi or some form or haggler.
"I suppose you're right, Ryu. This world is riddled with the unknown, it's best we remain a step ahead of our own steps." Wan would begin to break off from the group of travelers, the path to the summit in front of him as the wind batted at his back. He would begin taking steps toward its direction, his satchel secured tightly around his shoulders as he pushed on towards the peak. Heading along the path he would travel alongside the others, chatting while surveying around as they would soon reach their destination, eager to lay their eyes on the prizes that await them.

As pleasantries were exchanged, Kaito noted the newcomer’s title with a nod. “Ah, then I suppose we will be meeting soon. I am the Deputy Kage of the Kumogakure, and will be protecting the Raikage in the coming Summit. I hope our meeting there won’t be muddled by our meeting here, what with the Hollykage wiping our memories as soon as we leave here.”
He listened to the two men as they spoke of possible dangers. He shook his head. “Unlikely. The Hollykage wouldn’t put us in danger without warning us. As for the locals…” He enabled his Byakugan, surveying the surrounding area, before continuing “...there doesn’t seem to be anyone interested in even looking at us. We should be fine.”
“Let us move, gents. Daylight is running out fast. These tracks will be more and more dangerous by the minute.” He looked at them before moving forward, taking each step carefully in the falling snow -- or was it ash? He wouldn’t bother with searching for an answer, at this moment. Clad in his armor, he would have to remove the gauntlets, and he would rather keep them on. Snow wasn’t uncommon in the Lightning Country, albeit it was certainly mostly localized to the top of peaks that adorned the landscape. It was a greatly varying climate, to be honest: deadly cold in the Winter, but overbearingly hot in the Summer. Spring and Autumn seemed to be the only two seasons in which the country was comfortable, but Kaito didn’t subscribe to a comfortable life either way. He wouldn’t attach an air conditioning system in his house in spite of all the wonders and praise it received, so as to accustom and condition himself to suffer with heat and endure it. He wouldn’t cover himself extensively either in the winter, or layer himself in warm clothes excessively. With his musculature, he was more than capable of generating enough heat within himself to stave off the bite of cold, all he needed was to keep the heat from dissipating.
“Bit nippy, huh?” He quipped over his shoulder, as they made their way up the mountain. With such a layer of snow, he felt they might be taking an unnecessary risk, climbing the snowy carpet upwards the mountain. Perhaps a safer bet would’ve been to find a naked rockface, bereft of snow but welcoming to the common utilization of the Surface Walking Technique every academy student had to know.
Eventually, the peak was revealed, and the glowing rock welcomed them. He would take a piece, which later on he would heat in a kiln to separate the iron within it from the rest of the slag. It would be applied to a weapon or armor, maybe to improve its durability, or hold a sharper edge. “Well, that was fun, boys. Let’s do it again some other time.”
