A Quiet Outing
Sun Dec 20, 2020 2:09 am
Keita had just gotten done looking over the remainder of the missions that the mysterious entity known as the Hollykage was offering, and one of them had caught their interest. Keita was of course referring to his friend Kizmaru, and they had agreed to meet in one of the abandoned buildings in Suna when there was a break in their activities. They had walked around Suna for a bit and took in a bit of the sites, and this old abandoned area was good for meetings and such, and Keita saw a couple of young people here as well, but more towards the outskirts where the abandoned area started. It seemed like they liked to hide out at this spot, and it seemed like a good spot to be a bit secluded. Keita had already told Kizmaru where to meet him, and just in case they were disturbed or being watched, Keita made sure to go into the building that they had designated, which was a slightly crumbling suna style building which was missing some of one of the walls, but was relatively intact. It was the southwest wall that was slightly crumbling, but it could only see into the living area of the home, which was around 25 by 25 meters in a dome shape. Keita was waiting in one of the side bedrooms, just in case someone were to wander around and spot them in the living room through the relatively small hole in the wall that was facing an alleyway. Keita then performed some hand seals, and placed a seal on the floor in the center of the bedroom. This seal was called the Seal of Suppression, which would mute any sources of chakra within, preventing outside sources from peering into it and sensing there are people here, including when they used jutsu. It was a great technique for hiding your actions, and Keita just wanted to be safe when speaking with Kizmaru. Keita then calmly waited for the door to open, although he was still ready to talk if the person who showed up was not Kizmaru.

Walking to the old Suna Academy carrying Ram on his back, Kizmaru was fully dressed in his dark red armor as he silently walked through the streets of Suna. Keita had informed him they should meet in an old Suna Academy, a dome shaped looking building. He was a bit confused on how Keita discovered this place in the short amount of time they were in Suna but he wouldn't question it. He had the utmost faith in his bodyguard and friend. it took Kizmaru a bit longer to make it to the destination as he wasn't well versed in the navigation of the Suna village just yet. There was sand at almost every turn and although he was used to it from the beaches of Kiri he just wasn't used to this kind of thing. Dusk had fallen as he walked around trying to find his way. Giving an irritated sigh, he continued to walk until he finally found the building that was described to him. According to Keita's directions, he was in one of the side bedrooms the old Suna Students used to take up. once again, he was new to this place and it took him a bit longer to get there as he had gotten the wrong room a few times. Eventually, he opened a door to reveal his friend there patiently waiting for as he always has.
It seems he had already set up precautions to not alert any Suna guards to what he was about to do. This left Kizmaru with a little bit of concern but he wasn't too worried as he said he had the most utmost faith in him. Closing the door behind him, he gently put down Ram who immediately began to wander around the room it's never been in before filled with curiosity. giving a small chuckle, he turned his attention to Keita who wondered what all this secrecy was about. "Good evening Keita, I hope I didn't take too long to get here. Anyway, we shouldn't be here for too long, who knows what reason the authorities will find to have us get out faster. Let's hear this matter of yours," Kizmaru had said with a slight smile but cautious about his surroundings.

Keita had waited for a little while, and it seemed that Kizmaru was a bit late, but Keita had expected this, as whenever they had done missions together, it seemed like he was never on time for those either, so Keita always gave Kizmaru a wider birth for being late than others in his mind, and he did not feel like it was cause for concern at all. Soon enough, it seemed that Kizmaru opened the door, and although Keita was ready for it to be him, he was still going to be ready, and was still carefully observing the room while he walked in. Kizmaru immediately started talking to him, and it wqas great that he brought his little armadillo with him, as this essentially proved that it was Kizmaru and not someone under the effects of the transformation technique, as the armadillo seemed to have good senses, even though it did look a little foolish. Keita had never seen the little guy in action before, but he knew that his friend did not keep the armadilklo around for show. It seemed that Kizmaru wanted to get right to the main topic of this meeting, and Keita was more than happy to oblige, as he had already made sure they were not being watched, and he assumed that his friend would not have allowed someone to follow him so closely, and then started on the main topic.
"This is about the being that calls himself the Hollykage. The rewards that we've gotten from his missions are quite good, and I have a strategy for the seemingly most difficult one, which will have us fight a doppelganger of you in a strange snow globe dimension." Keita had written down the specifics of the mission and handed it to Kizmaru, who would then be free to peruse the ins and outs of the mission at his leisure. As Kizmaru was reading it, Keita spoke up and told him part of his plan. "It says here that the doppelganger of you will copy everything about you, so it seems like we should assume we will fight an exact copy of yourself when we go in there. With all of this in mind, my plan is to place a hindering seal on you, the Five Element Seal to be exact, and if theory is correct, then it will appear on the doppelganger as well. I can then take it off of you as soon as we start the fight, thus greatly hindering our enemy before we even have to fight him. What do you think?" Keita stated the entirety of his own plan to weaken the enemy to his friend, and then paused for a bit to let Kizmaru digest everything that he was saying and give him his own input.

Keita had begun to speak to Kizmaru about their weird travels to the land of Iron and how they keep getting into being in the service of strange voices. According to Keita, he had dug up some intel on one of the more difficult missions of the Holly Kage where they had to fight a doppelganger of himself. He wondered how Keita was so sure it would be of Kizmaru instead himself but he trusted his judgement. He too, would like this to go as smoothly as possible and continued to hear him out after he was handed a strange a written down missive of the task they were going to perform in the near future. As he began to read it, Keita also continued to explain the mission followed by his ingenious plan. After all was said and done, Kizmaru looked at the missive one more time before looking up at Keita again. "So what you're saying is, whatever appears on my body, the doppelganger will also have it, huh? If you place the Five Element Seal on me, he will get it too, interesting. If what you say is true, maybe this is worth a shot. Alright, I'm convinced. After you place it on me, I don't know if I'll be able to move but I guess that's what Ram here is for," Kizmaru said as he turned to where he last left Ram. He was currently climbing on the side of the room's walls with the surface walking technique as if he were some sort of giant spike shelled insect. It was amusing and settling at the same time but he turned his attention to Keita once more. "Alright then, let us get this over with. Oh, before that. Why don't you learn the Silent Killing technique while we're here. it's a perfect chance to learn it while secluded like this," Kizmaru said before explaining how the technique works so Keita may practice it at his own leisure at some point in time.

Keita was wondering if the plan would go over smoothly, and it seemed that Kizmaru was convinced immediately, and it also seemed like he was ready to go ahead and go for it now. This was fine, because as long as the suppression seal was up, he believed that they were relatively safe, so there was no reason not to do it here so that they, being Keita and the small armadillo that seemed intelligent, could simply wait for Kizmaru to wake up after a bit before simply bringing them back to his room. After that, it would just be a matter of a small amount of time readying themselves before accepting the Hollykage's mission and teleporting over to the arena to fight their foe, which would be the doppelganger. This plan seemed really good, and even if it didn't work, Keita would just take the seal off of Kizmaru and be done with it, and it would also mean that the doppelganger would not have any of the other seals that Keita had placed on his body, so it was a win win either way. Keita got ready, and the finger tips of his right hand started to glow with slight violet flames, before looking once again at Kizmaru. "Alright, if you're sure about this, we can get it over with now and then head to the strange snow globe to fight right after this with a huge advantage. I think this will make the fight a lot easier. Anyway, here I go, it might be a little unpleasant for a moment before you pass out." Keita warned Kizmaru before directing him to sit on the bed, since it was here anyway, although it smelled a bit like dust and the passage of time.
It would at least prevent him from just falling on the ground like a sack of potatoes, so it was the best deal for now that he did not have any other options. He remembered that he had almost infinite storage in his robe, so he might as well start sealing things like tables, chairs, beds, food, etc to make their time wherever they were more enjoyable. As Keita was in thought, he also made sure to nod at Kizmaru and listen intently to the description of the silent killing technique, before placing his hand on Kizmaru's forehead, making sure to connect all five of his fingers so that the seal would take effect. As soon as it did, he would see Kizmaru fall over unconscious, and he would sit there and guard him with the armadillo. He would wake up really soon, so he just had to wait a bit and start practicing the silent killing technique while he was in there. They were still under the suppressing effect of the seal, so Keita could practice all he wants while waiting for his friend there to wake up. Practicing not making noise was easier for Keita than it would be for the rest of the people that would learn this, as he was taught to walk quietly his entire life, and could effectively walk quietly already with his wooden sandals, which some might consider a good feat of control. Still, the technique that he had just been passed to him was really profound, and he might take quite a bit of time fully mastering it, he was already starting to get the hang of it. Keita hoped that while he practiced this that the armadillo would know that he was doing it for his master's own good, and that he would not be suddenly attacked by a wild animal, but just in case, Keita kept the most distance he could from his friend and the armadillo, as if his pet suddenly started attacking him, he could only endure it, as he did not have the heart to strike such an adorable creature that also belonged to his friend. Keita remembered that he could also prepare a bit more for the sake of defeating this doppelganger and started weaving hand seals, so that he could put a couple of seals on himself for the fight to come. The first one was the seal of absorption, while the second one was the oxygen bottle seal. And with that, he would wait for his friend to wake up and leave.

Nodding towards Keita to give him the go ahead. "I am sure about this. it doesn't hurt to try and I don't mind getting an advantage anyway I can. Now then, go ahead and do it as you've planned. And make it as quick as possible, I don't exactly like pain," he had told his friend before he walked over to the old musty bed, he was directed to take a seat. Closing his eyes, Kizmaru braced for impact as he was about to receive something that he assumed would hurt greatly. As Keita placed his hand with the Five element seal on him, he began to rapidly lose his consciousness and fall over onto the ancient bed. When Ram witnessed this, it caused him to pause his walk crawling and skitter down the wall towards his fallen companion's side. Staring at Kizmaru the nat Keita, he was very confused as to what happened before it clicked in his head that his master was being attacked. Ram then pounced onto Keita's chest and attempted to pat his chest in the form of a strange paddle attack to which Keita most likely couldn't feel. Eventually, he got tuckered out and watched as Keita seemed to be guarding his companion until he woke up, he assumed. Ram then waddled over towards both Keita and Kizmaru and decided to sit still alert in an attempt to also guard Kizmaru. After it felt like a very long time, Kizmaru had awoken to his two bodyguards and clutched his head. He thought he was prepared for the sensation but in reality, he was not. After these events, the three of them would depart.
