- Mission specs:
Mission Name: An acquired taste
Rank: B
Type: Gather
Character Requirements: Must be an NRPG Character
Mission Location: The ruins of old Kirigakure
Word Count Requirements: 3000
Challenges: -
Repeatable? yes
NPC? -
Reward: Choose Two: 4000 Ryo, 40 AP, Pufferfish Fins, Hemlock
Task:
The Ruins of old Kirigakure have become the perfect spot for the poisonous pufferfish to habitat and thrive. Recently the hollykage has gotten into cooking with exotic ingredients and the pufferfish is one of the rarest that he wants to get his hands on.
Your task is to explore the waters around Old Kirigakure and gather pufferfish so that the hollykage can enjoy this delicious delicacy. While you are at it the land of water has lush fields of different vegetables. Find the hollykage some Hemlock while you are at. Be careful handling both ingredients!
As far as he knew his nickname was The Red King, not The Red Chef. So why Akaboshi got chosen to gather some fish for the Hollygake would be a complete mystery. Although his cooking had improved over the years and he knew his way around a kitchen, it still didn't mean the Uzumaki knew every bits and pieces about food. But that wouldn't stop him from being sent to the ruins of Old Kirigakure where he was supposed to get his hands on some of the rarest fish there was, the pufferfish. Rumor had it the place was where all sorts of exotic ingredients could be found, so it at least got him a little bit interested.
Having arrived at the so called perfect spot for the poisonous pufferfish Akaboshi would look around, hoping it wouldn't take too long to find what he needed to complete the mission and be done with it. While he was waiting for the pufferfish to appear, the Jounin reached in one of his side pockets before pulling out a pack of cigarettes. His other hand would grab a lighter which he'd use to light up one of his ciggies. Blowing the smoke away from his direction, the red haired Uzumaki wondered if anyone else decided to show up.

As a genin of his village, Waz worked his way up and mostly tried to improve himself by becoming a decent shinobi of his town. He always wondered what it would be like if he visited his kage peacefully. The intentions of him accepting growth and gaining knowledge are what he needed. So, merely waking up and preparing for a new day was the goal that he had in his mind. He peacefully prepared himself, knowing it was another day he had to prepare for. It was one of those days where he didn't feel like getting up. But in the end, he managed to with ease.
As he put on his everyday attires, the giant prepared himself with a white shirt and black shorts. As bold as a monk, he ate his favorite food in the making. As the young man packed his bags, he decided to go for some legit missions to collect some paychecks. He read the task described on the piece of paper as a slight nod came into his way. Goka let out a deep sigh knowing the outcome of this mission was a simple pass. So, he made his way to this location, preparing for what was next.

Some time had passed when Akaboshi finally finished the last of his cigarette. Throwing whatever was left of the smoke on the ground before putting it out using the bottom of his right boot, the red haired Uzumaki figured he might as well get on with the mission. No matter how hard he tried, the Jounin couldn't help but feel like it wasn't anything for him. When he thought about what kind of powers this so called Hollykage possessed the redhead didn't understand why he didn't just simply took care of these kind of tasks himself. Or could it be he felt himself too big for a job like this? Putting it like that only frustrated him more, which was why he just started looking for the pufferfish in order to get this over with.
Scanning the area Akaboshi continued his search for the fish the Hollykage so desired. He remembered reading something about pufferfish being toxic and deadly, containing a poison able to kill even thirty people. It only made him wonder more about why the Hollykage would want something like that. Would they taste that good, even if the risk of eating one was so high? Not that he would find out, after all once everything was over so would his memories of the event. Finding himself getting closer to the water, obviously since that's where you'll find fish, the Uzumaki would look closely in the hope of spotting the pufferfish he was looking for. Minutes would pass and he still wasn't able to find anything, his frustration only growing bigger and bigger by the minute.

Waz made his way where he supposed to was knowing he add a lot of things to do in his mind it was to work and grow as a person. what made him do this was because
he was destined to grow as a person as a shinobi he dedicated himself, which means he had to explore the ninja world and what made him a clear person was how so, whatever the cause was he needed to perfect it. That means he had to go out there knowing what the cause was going to be his no doubt and easy.
as a specialist in his clan, he needed to pursue his meaning and desires, he needed to pursue somethings meaning he had a lot of things to do, so he as a shinobi pondered what his outcome would have been. as a though, the shinobi must get to work and needed to achieve what
he desired. mostly it became by how or what he was tried to do. as a specialist he rounded up. tho everything was passing by, he needed to get to work. as a shinobi, he mostly relised on his scorch powers. well, that was who he was anyways.
as a man, he always wondered what the cause would be mainly he needed to know how things were going to work. he needed to get stronger and grow
as a person, and what made him a individual was he put in the work than others who failed to do so. he was a different breed and about to be another one. as a shinobi, he always wondered what the out come was but he primarily knew the cause was only intended by how or who it was gonna be.
though the out come was always how he would do certain things as his own imagination was questioned by who or what was gonna happen. as a shinobi he primarly called how he needed to get to work meaning all life considered he focused on himself and not others which costed him afterall in a split second. as a shinobi he prefered to do things on his own and mostly anticipated by what or who he declared his time or doing so. he regretted his decisions, but in the end it all depended on how or what he was gonna make it in for. no doubt he had a lot to do so in his hands.
tho he needed to get and step-aside by his works knowing he wanted to know what his father would be upto and that simply made him what he prefered. as an goka he was curious on what was gonna mix it up on tho he's most likely depending it on how he would do it. Mostly he asked what he could do as a shinobi but stretching the cause and expanding who he was, the question remained un-stoppable. he was a beast in the makings and no doubt would be in the future, no question. as a goka he wondered what the out come would simply be. as a shinobi the shinobi had pretty much alot of things in his mind and it mostly came from how
it was gonna be turned out. the missions was simply dedicated by who he was and it happend so quick that he needed to turn around and capatlise who he was going to make. as a shinobi he dreamed mostly on his future but in the end what would he make to do so. a dream where he can finally reunite with his parents in the future. though reuniting means he would put things aside and mostly depend on what the outcome would be. alot of things procecing his mind the shinobi mostly worried how his fellow comrades would treat him but no, it all went on how he would do so. nevertheless, he was a one trick
poney. a one who he mostly worked on his craft as the days go by he was a shinobi to get into works. it all depended on what he was gonna do no doubt he based it on his self nor others around you. because in the end it was his
the time he spent on himself he was curious to know what he was gonna make in that period. his mind and his thoughts weren't right and mostly depended
it on what his next choice. he was a shinobi who mostly depended on what the cause be. he wasn't all time ready cause he expected on what the cause be. he dedicated himself
or the time on things weren't gonna help him. as a shinobi he wanted to know what the out-come was gonna make it work. as a shinobi he wanted to know what the outcome was.
as a shinobi the concern was how he was gonna make it count and undoubtly it meant the shinobi only relised how his efforts were gonna make him unstoppable force. he relised that one was gonna make the efforts to stop a being. he was clearly a man on his word and what
he prefered was no-one was gonna be able on his way. as a shinobi, he wanted to know what the outcome was but the end was always was near but it always made him wonder the simple ways of making him a force to be rekon to be with.
he was a different to many before and after him. nothing was gonna beat him if he decided to and many others wanted to know if he was gonna take the final touch which simply touched him and his way to another land. that was the simple way of knowing his methods. he only tempted that by which giving himself no doubts or reasons to reach his dream. he was a nno doubt gonna alow himself or others define his dream. that was he was gonna do. he either stood straight or be straight. thats how it was.

Re: The Hollykage's Taste

A lot of time had passed where Akaboshi continued his search for the pufferfish fins, a task given to him by the Hollykage. The red haired Uzumaki still wondered why exactly someone with his status was assigned to a job that seemed irrelevant, no matter how he looked at it. A jounin of Hoshigakure spending his day trying to find some strange ingredients just because the hollykage had gotten into cooking. Ridiculous. Oh well, not much he could do about it now that he got summoned in the Old Ruins of Kirigakure. Even if he wanted to leave, the redhead doubted that he could snap his fingers and be able to return to the Land of Haven. All that was left for him to do, was to finish the mission as soon as possible so he could be teleported back home.
Gathering intel was one thing, but ingredients? That would be something entirely different, at least in his opinion. There were many different parts to life of a shinobi, from things like assassination, espionage to guarding and escorting. But it would be quite the understatement to say that Akaboshi never expected a job like this also required his attention. As the Jounin of Hoshigakure continued his search he began to wonder if other officers like himself were also tasked with the same job. It would surprise him if he was the only one out there doing his best to gather the materials required for the Hollykage but no matter how he would look at it, nothing would be able to surprise the red haired Uzumaki anymore.
By then more and more people slowly started to show up, almost as if they heard Akaboshi's earlier thoughts about whether or not there were others who needed to do the same job as he did. Not that he paid that much attention to them, nor did he recognize any of them. And even if he did it wouldn't really matter considering no one was going to remember anything of whatever happened that day. All the more reason as to why the Jounin hardly saw the point in doing all of this. Why have someone do something if they were going to forget about it all anyway? Regardless of all his questions, the redhead doubted they were going to be answered anyway. Which left him with the only thing he could do, the simple task of gathering pufferfish fins.
And so his mission continued, the search not all that successful so far. Luckily for him it seemed like everyone else didn't have any success either, so at least he wasn't alone. In order to avoid failure the red haired Uzumaki moved to a different place, one where he'd be alone. Hopefully that strategy would allow him to happen upon those pufferfish that were so sought after for. Akaboshi made sure to look around to see that no one was following him to the new location. If anything the Jounin didn't want anyone getting the same idea. Not that he suddenly would take it seriously and go try hard on this, but the sooner he got what he needed, the quicker he'd be able to return to his beautiful home in the land of Haven.
The red haired Uzumaki walked for a couple of minutes until he was finally able to find himself the ideal spot. If Akaboshi had to describe the area he found himself stumbling upon, he would probably use words close to a hidden oasis. Completely on his own, the Jounin noticed he had the place all to himself, meaning it looked like no one would be interrupting his peace anytime soon. And if they did, so be it. He figured by the time someone else found out about the spot he'd have finished up already. However, the redhead didn't really plan on relaxing, even more so since getting back to Hoshigakure was his main objective. Even though the goal of him being there was something completely different he couldn't help but wanting to go back and in order to achieving that same thing Akaboshi knew not to waste anymore time than they already did. And so he prepared once more, a sigh to show how the situation made him feel.
As the man enjoyed the peace and quiet, truly taking in his surroundings he could hear the sound of water running nearby. Given his location it wasn't that surprising, however it did mean whatever he had been looking for all the time had to be close, maybe even closer than he thought. Only a fool wouldn't decide to check it out, so that was exactly what the Uzumaki did. Perhaps it was an odd thing to say, but when he realized how close he might be to his goal a sudden spark of joy lit up inside of him. Like a little kid he ran and hurried towards the source of the sound he picked up a few moments ago. Not much longer and he would be able to finish and leave all of it behind. When he arrived at the river at last the Jounin grabbed his tools which he would then use to scoop out all of the pufferfish one by one until there were none left.
Before returning the red haired shinobi made sure he got everything he needed. On his way back he suddenly remembered the mention of Hemlock in the mission report as well. Luckily for him the area he was currently in had more than enough green around, meaning he wouldn't have to look that hard to find the plant that he needed to acquire. After a couple of minutes Akaboshi was indeed able to happen upon the Hemlock which he then quickly removed from the ground. Once the redhead finally finished gathering everything he needed it was time for him to return to the spot where he was summoned in the first place, hoping to go home rather sooner than later. When the red haired Uzumaki arrived he notice most people had already left after a less successful search. Back home.
