Shadow of a Queensman

Kouma had woke up early today, as this was his first official mission that he had received after becoming a genin of the star village, and the first mission that he had chosen involved the authority figures of the village, which happened to be the queens men. These people were essentially the normal police force of the village, and although they were not trained in the ninja arts, they were still responsible for the overall well being of the people of the village, and as such there would always be people who would respect their authority. Kouma was one of these people that not only respected them, but he used to idolize them, wanting to become one before his ambition to become a ninja of the village. Now that he was a ninja, it seemed that there was no need to become a queens man, but he could still learn from them, which was why he was so excited when he saw this mission on the mission board. He eagerly ran out of his house in the morning, immediately heading to one of the guard houses that were dotted around the village, and reported for his duty. The man that he was going to be shadowing today was a middle aged gentleman, and he looked very regal in the garb of the queens men. Kouma walked around with this man throughout the day, asking him various questions about his life and his job, and he even had a little note book that he was carrying with himself so that he could write down any inspirations that he had gotten while looking at what the man did all day. The first place they had went to were simply the streets, as the man simply went around patrolling, and there were a few people that asked him how to get somewhere, and there were a few people that had minor complaints. The queens man then showed Koukma that most of the time every one was very behaved, and he almost never had to get violent with people. He some times had to write tickets for people, charging them ryo if they parked carts in places they should not be, or if they opened a stand some where without a permit, but really they were just the paid helpers to the people, which made Kouma admire them more than before. It was a fun and entertaining day, but eventually the day dragged on into the afternoon, and the man was done with his shift. They only worked eight hours per shift, and then they would swap out with another person. Kouma admired the man and thanked him for showing him around the village, and for giving him a sneak peak into the lives  of the every day police force of the village. The gentleman thanked Kouma for being so pleasant, because usually the ninja could not wait to go home when picking this mission, as he had hosted some genin before, and they were not as polite or well behaved, but Kouma was not a slacker. after thanking the man, Kouma and he went their separate ways, and Kouma went back to his house to check up on his mother.
