Hunter's Sight
Wed Feb 24, 2021 6:36 pm
Name: Hunter’s Sight
Element: -
Rank: D
Specialty: Medical/Sensory
Special Jutsu Type:
Backstory:
Werewolves, being nocturnal hunters originally, were once able to utilize their eyes to hunt prey in the cover of night without effort. Unfortunately, over time this ability was not needed as much as werewolves integrated into shinobi society. Still, the werewolves retain the ability to tap into this dormant potential by applying chakra to the eyes.
Appearance:
The eyes of the werewolf give off a faint glow, usually red.
Handseals: Ram -> Dog
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: Posts Used +1
Range: -
Power: -
Speed: -
Health: -
Stat Boosts: -
What it does:
The chakra flows to the eyes, enhancing them to adjust to seeing even in low-light conditions. This allows the werewolf user to use even a small amount of illumination - such as moonlight or starlight - to see clearly despite the limited light. This does not enhance their existing vision beyond simply removing any issues one might have seen in areas of poor illumination.
This does not allow the werewolf to see in total darkness. There must be a light source of some sort, or else this jutsu will not allow the werewolf to see, just as total darkness would hamper anyone else.
Character Specific: N/A
Wordcount to learn: 500
Action Cost: 10 AP to activate; 5 AP upkeep
Mastery: Yes
Bonus Requirements: Beast's Blood
Canon, Custom, Bloodline or Village Exclusive: Bloodline Technique for Lycanthropy
