Blood vs Fire

A flash of light took over his eyes as he closed them and once he had opened them he found himself in a world unlike his own. He found himself standing in a circular platform, 100 meters in all directions surrounded by serene blue water. To him he could feel the air blowing on and around him, a small smile appearing on his face. The combination of the fire blazing within his entire being and the wind made him happy even if it was artificial. He would wait for the Kazekage to appear in the area of her choosing before stretching and taking off his shoes, he never liked them anyway. Once she was here of if she was already here he would look to her and speak," What you said before....you knew someone that's like me? I thought this...disease as they call it only affected me," he wasn't sure about this. The fact that she dropped a hint like that to him meant only one thing- there were others. He would wait for her response before replying to her," I'd like to make a wager then...If I can manage to hit you just once...will you tell me what you know about this affliction I have?," if she would have agreed then he would accept the terms that came from her side as well.

With that out of the way he would prepare himself for the spar ahead. Mita would have been fifteen meters from the Kage, giving them plenty of space between one another. He knew fair fights as a shinobi would be uncommon out of this space, but he wasn't going to do his leader dirty. When she gave the signal he would begin. Not knowing what she could fully do, he could keep his hands close and just in case he needed to weave a technique to make a quick escape. He wait to see what she would do first before making an attack, but kept up his defenses as well.

The clone would follow suit and apply the VR headset and materialize 15 meters away from her opponent's materialization point. She looked exactly as she had only moments before - hat strapped on her back and the same clothes - even at this distance the height distance was noticeable as she was 6 inches shorter - but she watched with a raised eyebrow as his shoes were removed - a curious choice. Listening to his proposal of information she would smile kindly, “A proper Suna Shinobi, wagering for information..” Considering a moment she would nod, reaching her arms above her in a stretching motion. “Deal then, one solid hit on me and I will tell you what I know about the Meijin.” The name drop was just a bit of a teaser to assure the boy that she did indeed know about what afflicted him. 


Raising her hands on either side she held them out for a moment, staring him down before a creeping smile appeared, “Begin.” The moment the word was uttered she would begin performing two separate sets of seals as she ran closer to him - with her left she performed the 6 seals for Great Moving Earth Core and her right hand weaved the 6 seals for Hakudatsu. The Moving Earth Core began to sink the arena by 20 meters [moving at 80 speed and power] - with dimensions of 15x15; while she simultaneously exhaled the white wispy smoke from her lips. 

She would stop her approach once she was within 9 meters of the man, continuing to skirt at the edges in a clockwise direction moving at 70 speed - keeping him just inside her range of hearing but approaching no closer. This wasn’t an outwardly aggressive first move but now, trapped in an area that contained the smoke she was curious how someone with such a fiery temperament would function - entrapped and with the loss of hearing and the loss of sense of touch.

The moment she dropped the name he knew...she knew something. At that point shortly before he ran toward her his stance changed. This was no longer about testing himself...he needed to prove that he was going to win. As he came closer to her he would notice her making a string of seals to which he would make his own string of five hand seals. When the seals were completed he could feel the world around him shifting but his eyes never left the Kazekage. As some form of white mist spilled around him, his vision became clouded and soon he found that he could not hear or feel anything around him but this did not bother the male in the slightest. As the smoke obscured his view of Mizuki and he would assume it would do the same for her, his body would begin to swell up with flame. At the same time he would perform another set of six seals and after their completion a loud "boom" could be heard from where Mita once was. He would not be able to hear it, but as his body propelled upwards with the combined force of both fire and concussive force, he would be lifted 15 meters into the air where he could be seen. A large portion of the smoke would have been blown away as a result but now with him in the air he would begin his fiery reign.

From his mouth a single six inch stream of fire would erupt from his mouth and travel a meter before it became a wall of flame raining down upon the area he presumed Mizuki had been. The large wall of fire would come down at a speed and power of 90 to engulf and hopefully trap the Kazekage in a barrage of fire. He'd hold the fire for as long as he could, holding himself in the air until the conclusion of his attack.

The mist wasn’t completely obscuring of view and as she watched him form 6 familiar seals that she herself had mastered - halting her movement she would stop skirting around him just as she finished the 4 hand seals to create a Water Wall [70/70 power/speed] that would burst forth from her mouth extinguishing the flames that stretched out towards her. That wasn’t all of his tricks it seemed so as she noticed him launch himself into the air - 15 meters in a direct vertical trajectory and only just out of her hearing range she would drop the Water Wall now that the flames around her were no longer a threat - as well as drop the upkeep for Great Moving Earth Core. With her left hand she formed the 3 seals for Hiding Like a Mole [60/60 power and speed] to immediately sink into the ground - only to immediately form the seals for Chakra Displacement to hold her chakra signature at the bottom of the bit - and finally burrowing up out of sight 5 meters behind the boy who held himself airborne just over the now sinking pit. 

The sinking of the pit would even secure his thought process that she had succumbed to the flames - and since he couldn’t Hakudatsu was still active his hearing was still gone. The moment she emerged though she would be forming the 7 seals for Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death, the water coming from the arena and residual water leftover from the Water Wall [70/70 power and speed]. 10 needles of 15 centimeters long and 1 cm thick each would form 3 meters behind him in the air - 3 clustered directly for his heart/chest, 3 more clustered the same but aimed at his lower abdomen to account for falling and two on either side at the same height of the first cluster to account for any movement left or right. The moment they formed they were shot and given they would not be sensed or heard they should be able to find their mark, thus causing him to fall to the ground as the pit came flesh with the rest of the arena.

Mita continued to hold his assault from above as he held the tiger seal and focused his fire on the same point. From his vantage point of 15 meters in the air he could see a fair bit of the field, especially where the formation of the mist had begun. He didn't see anyone where he would have figured which caused him some manner of concern. He didn't release his technique just yet and instead he would begin to twist his body toward the right. Using the propulsion from the stream of fire he could continue to push himself until he had moved three meters to the left under the protection of the fire and once he had gotten into position he would begin to weave another set of seals as he began to fall to the earth. His back wouldn't facing toward the Kazekage anymore, but the needles she had thought would appear behind him would find that their mark was not within their reach. Mita thought his eyes were playing tricks on him as he fell back to the ground as his fire dispersed after he released the tiger seal. With his first jutsu completed he would weave another set of seals as he released another technique from his mouth as he was 5 meters from the ground. The fireball would start as a stream of fire 6 inches wide before forming into a 10 meter diameter fireball that would hurdle toward the Kazekage at at speed of 90. The shock of landing back on the ground was shocking to his feet, but landing correctly had been everything. As soon as he had landed his body ducked down allowing the shock to not continue through his body. His landing would put him outside of the radius of the mist and with the fireball hurdling through it he would begin to skirt around the outside of the smoke toward the position where he had seen the Kazekage at.

Once he had came back into view of her he would release his second technique. Before the fireball reached a distance of seven meters from Mita, a bird would erupt from its right side, the bird being two meters wide and one meter long. The bird with its fiery eyes would lock onto Mizu and continue its path independently of the fireball, making sure its trajectory and the fireballs trajectory would not intersect or collide. The bird would wait until it was five meters from Mizu before letting out a loud skree and exploding. The explosion would carry on for 20 meters in all directions catching her if she was not careful. Mita would continue on his path toward her steering clear of the explosion but also preparing another string of seals just in case.

Watching him twist in mid-air using the jutsu as a propellant caused an impressed smirk to form on her lips, it seemed she wasn’t the only one who knew how to creatively use their jutsu - points for you. Though she was at a particular advantage, she knew he was only able to use fire techniques so the next thing to come at her had to be another fire jutsu - the moment he successfully avoided her needles she started a single hand seal pattern - Great Water Vortex. His jutsu was impressive to say the least, fast and accurate. She couldn’t be more proud of one of her own and it’s high level of power forced her to use some of her more devastating abilities just to match his speed - formidable. Backing up as she formed her hand seals at her max speed she drew back to the full 10 meter range which brought her within range of the water that surrounded the edges of the arena.


As the stream of fire shot out of his mouth there was a second beast breaching the top of the first fire technique and heading straight for her - only slightly faster. Holding her position for a few moments more she would wait til the two techs were in front of her by 5 meters - at which point a large cyclone would spew from her mouth [80/80 -25 to fire jutsu] expanding rapidly to its full scale size of 10 meters in diameter and traveling 50 meters forward at jutsu speed. Extinguishing both of his attacks and engulfing him and the surrounding area in a torrent of ripping water, carving into the ground a few meters and dragging debris in with it.

Fire vs Water.

A clash that always ends in ended with fire being snuffed out like it was nothing...but Mitacho was more than just fire. As the water snuffed out the life of the flames and the water vortex had been coming to consume Mitacho whole, he smiled as he stood his ground and braced every part of his being. As the water picked up and pulled debris and other things the only thing it would never pick up would be the young fire breather as he held his ground. The strength of the water would be weakened as he began to move forward, his feet gripping the earth with every step until he had walked clear out of the vortex. His clothing would have been ripped off showing the littered amount of scars that were a testament to his dedication of his arts. When the vortex passed him completely he would look and smile at the Kazekage and nod," If we keep this up no one is going to win and it might be a stalemate until we both get tired.. unless you would like to continue?," he wouldn't make any attacks until she had made her decision but if the spar was over then he would consider this a loss on his part since he was unable to hand a successful hit on her.
