Backstory: Less of a jutsu, and more of a curse, this was the result of the Grandfather's experiments on the first members of the Canopic Clan. This is the gift's effect without any special molding with chakra or elemental natures.

What it does: The gift lives in each and every cell of the members of the Canopic Clan. It's merely an unfortunate side effect that it's secreted from their bodies in their sweat and breath.

The Canopic Clan's signature virus emerges from their mouth and nose in the form of a visible green mist, tinged with both chakra and their contagion. This jutsu can be used through materials like gas masks, cloths, and through anything that would feasibly allow a user to breathe through it, though not solid objects like steel, wood, ect.

This green mist expands out from the user's body at jutsu speed up to jutsu range, and possesses a health equal to jutsu health. It remains in place where you first used it. This mist can only be damaged or blown away by techniques that create gusts of wind, air, concussive force, shockwaves, or anything else that could reasonably disperse mist with a greater power than this jutsu. This jutsu also disperses at the end of the technique's duration.

Enemies who breathe in the mist will begin to suffer from a degenerative condition which eats their body alive from the inside. Upon breathing in the mist, it will cause the victim to take damage equal to the base power value at each rank (1/10/20/30/50/70). The victim will then take this damage to their health bar once per post for a total of 3 posts (4 posts if used at S-Rank). The victim only needs to inhale this mist once for the damage effect to take place, and does not need to continually breathe the mist. Further damage can be avoided if the target is subjected to a jutsu that removes poison or disease at a higher power than this jutsu.

Victims that possess the Virulent Vitality bloodline are immune to this jutsu.
