What it does: After completing the hand seals, the user emits a cone of thick, toxic green air loaded with a modified strain of the Canopic Clan's Virus. This cone extends to and possesses a width equal to the jutsu range. It opens outwards from the user's mouth and expands at jutsu speed. The user can manipulate this cone by twisting their head up and down, side to side, and aiming the cone where they wish it to go by lining their head with the direction they want it to go. This feature can be used once per post, up to a 90-degree angle. This cone lasts until the end of the jutsu duration or until it ends prematurely by the user. Finally, this mist can only be damaged or blown away by techniques that create gusts of wind, air, concussive force, shockwaves, or anything else that could reasonably disperse mist with greater power than this jutsu.
This gas permeates the skin and shall affect a target regardless of clothing, short armor, and other jutsu constructs that could reasonably keep the gas from reaching their flesh. Upon contact with the air, a target will take damage equal to base jutsu power for each post that they continually touch the gas as they are brought into a violent coughing fit that hurts their lungs. Even after they escape, they will still suffer damage equal to this jutsu's base power once per post for three posts or until they are healed by a medical technique designed to remove poisons or diseases with an equal or greater power than this technique.
While the target is suffering under the effects of this jutsu, they will also suffer damage to their AP whenever they use a technique equal to the base power of this technique. This cost is added to the method after all applicable discounts are applied.
Fellow members of the Canopic Clan are immune to this jutsu.
