Baggin' Some Bones

"Ow," Dana said lamely, holding up the stumps of he fingers to her face. How was she going to do hand seals and be a really cool ninja now? Ah well, Dana would figure something out. If not she could finally follow her dreams and retire to become an artist. Wait, how was she going to draw without fingers. Ah well, at least she could finally become the fashion designer she was always meant to be. Wait, how was she going to do any designing without any fingers? Oh well, at least she'd be-

Whilst Dana had a mini internal crisis about the direction her life would now take without any of her fingers, she watched with a small amount of curiosity as the girl desperately tried to get Dana's severed fingers out of the container they were in. "No, no. Leave them. I can become... I can become... Become... A dancer!" Dana said cheerfully, busting out a really cool pose that showed how good of a dancer she was and splattering blood everywhere. Yes! This was perfect. Dana didn't need to have fingers to become the excellent dancer she was always supposed to be. She ignored the others and didn't even acknowledge the clone attempting to help her as she started to dance in the water, kicking it up and creating waves like she was in a Broadway show. Yes, Dana had finally found her true calling. Life was a musical, one just had to find the music!

Dana spun on the tips of her toes like a ballerina and went through a mini routine as the others hurried around trying to get themselves out of the room. Just as she did the big finish and took a bow, Dana was greeted by an absolutely massive explosion instead of the round of applause she had been expecting. In a totally expected turn of events, Dana had completely missed Kiku's warning and had ended up caught up in the huge explosion that was supposed to free them all.

At first, Dana saw nothing. Then suddenly, there was music.

If the others decided to take the exit that the explosion had created, they would find themselves entering a large spooky graveyard. A dense mist covered the boggy ground, the trees surrounding wrapped around each other like a wall. At odds with this spooky scene was the faint sound of disco music emanating from the ground. It would start to get louder and louder, crescendoing into a huge climax! And then:

"Oh hey, it's nice to see ye all!" Dana popped up from behind a gravestone, with her signature cheeky grin on her face. Except, this wasn't the Dana they'd all come to know. This was zombie Dana. Her skin, usually pale, was now white as snow with dark rings circling her eyes. Her hair was far longer than it had ever been, and one of her legs was a wooden stick from where it had been blown up. "Let's boogie!"

And with that, the graveyard exploded into a flurry of activity. Zombies of all shapes and sizes, all missing various limbs and parts of their bodies rose from the ground and started dancing in time to the disco music that was now loud enough to be properly heard. Yup, it was the monster mash alright.

Ahhh, shit homeboy. You should've seen me I was flipped at the party drank a fifth of MD... Oh. Shit. There was actually a party going on. Holy shit. This was awesome. It seemed to be that there were all sorts of zany creatures running around, some with their heads attached and some with no arms. Daiko knew what it was like to have no arms, it was pretty nutty. Running through the crowd, Daiko finds a pretty decent spot and just stands there. He was a big fan of dancing, but it was usually under the consumption of special tinctures that are referred to as some as grain alcohol. Looking around, Daiko sees that his friends had also potentially joined in for some sick-ass dance moves. Daiko cleared a small area, and began doing breakdances and headspins, a move that he had learned from... Somewhere. Along with his sick movements, Daiko secretly used black threads to propel and contort his body in all sorts of ways that were not possible for humans. This led to huge cheers from the crowds of creatures and monsters, and at the moment, Daiko didn't feel like such an abomination after all. Spinning on his head, Daiko lifts himself with his palm, and Shambler actually appeared.

Ayoo. It's Shambler! "Daiko, what the fu--" Before the creature could start complaining, he saw some other attractive furred-abominations giggling over by a punch bowl or something, and went over. It had seemed that there would be no complaining this time around. Jumping straight from his hand to his feet, Daiko takes a short bow, adoring the positive attention. Daiko ignored the comments about his awesome tendrils from the drunken guests as he goes to join back up with the people on his team. "So, how are you guys doing?" 

Eventually, Daiko would wake up, and scratch his head for a moment. Though it was still pretty vivid, Daiko could feel that the dream was definitely a strange one. Stretching out, Daiko sighs gently before getting out of bed. Man, now he had to do actual work. It was another day for Daiko, and well. Hopefully, it was a good one.

Dana has definitely lost her mind. This is fine. It wouldn't be the first time someone in the group had.... Though granted, it was usually Saya going some type of crazy. 

"maybe we shouldn't....." As much as she wanted to be responsible and tell her team that they absolutely needed to destroy whatever was creating this music and break up the party, honestly, she didn't want to do any of that. It sounded unbelievably unfun, and if theres one thing we know about our dear protagonist, its that she will choose fun over responsibility almost every time. Maybe some time in the future a high ranking ninja like an anbu or the mizukage will explain to her that its important to actually follow rules and not cause trouble. Maybe they could do it while redecorating a large very well guarded building using mokuton that she probably should have asked before casting? WHew. That feels specific. ANYWAY, True to form, Saya also joined in on the festivities. She found herself cutting the proverbial rug with her two puppets in tow. As she performed the hottest new dance she saw on some anime or something the puppet lovingly reffered to as PupAit swayed back and forth slightly out of time with the music. 

Freyja went IN! She found an open spot, basically by shoving the monster inhabitants out of the center of the dance floor, and began break dancing like there was no tomorow. We're talking twenty acrobatic tricks in a row, like one. two. three. four. five. Spilts, Spread eagles, backflips, flip flops, one right after another, and my dear listeners, if you get this refference you get exactly one nomo buck. Good job. 

Mid dance, Saya noticed that Daiko had done something. Was that a summon?! Oh. She'd seen this thing before. Her nose crinkled for a moment before she caught herself, being reminded silently by her older sister who was also a puppet that just because it isn't her aesthetic, that doesn't mean she can judge. She was right... THis time. 

THings would get QUITE rowdy. So rowdy in fact that one could argue that they were doing the opposite of what they were expected, but then Saya would solve the problem. 

SHe rushed to the dj booth, taking a microphone and without asking b egan to sing. Thats when she realized that all of the monsters had spikey black hair, and wierdly had put on a blue and white outfit. Were these monsters from Kiri?! They looked just like the sasukes. And acted like it. From nowhere in particular, they would produce well.... Produce, and throw them at Saya. Three tomatoes later the party was broken up. 

"Well. That was fun until all the produce started flying. I do NOT understand why that keeps happening. Really frusterating if you ask me. " With all of this done, they woudl finally be able to part, Saya finding some way to get herself back home and safely tucked into bed for the night.

Dana danced like there was no tomorrow; shimmying, a weird wobbling dance that made Dana feel like a noodle, the head nod. All the classic moves one would do at a party like this. At some point, Dana ended up performing a tango with a headless zombie. It was very fun! At least, until, Dana accidentally pulled a little too hard and pulled both of its arms from its sockets. It was dreadfully embarrassing, and she couldn't even locate the poor headless fella in the crowd now that they'd been separated. No matter, improvising was one of Dana's greatest strengths.

She started waving the two arms in the air in time to the beat, whooping for joy. This really was the greatest! And like all great things, it only turned out to be a dream. Dana woke up laying on the floor of her room, hands in the air like she was still in a party.

"Aw, mannn," Dana sighed to herself. Why did dreams always have to be so much more exciting than real life?
