Mission:

Such a bright day was usually cause for training or playing outside, but in the land of Haven it was cause for being a librarian. Another message from the village offering chore work to the missing ninja of Konoha, Ryuzaki Nara. Well he still needed to get ready for such a thing currently the boy was dressed for running in a pair of shorts and running shoes. Nothing close to what he'd wear during work. Though perhaps this day warranted wearing shorts. The desert sun made the days very bright, very hot, and very long.

After a shower he was to meet up with Ciel Uchiha once more. A member of the village hidden in the Stars who would know him as Akabayashi Terumi. This would require some very awkward explanation as he was now Ryuzaki Nara. A nobody as far as anyone was concerned. When he arrived at the archives he handed over his mission missive as requested and walked inside where Ciel was or was not waiting. "Hello, again. I have a different name today, I guess. No one threatened me to not be myself today." With hope these words would be enough to sort out the confusion, but even Ryuzaki knew the last part only invited more questions.

The successful completion of the mission escorting noble's was hopefully enough to throw some suspicion off the Nara. However, the pretending to be someone else under threat really needed to be addressed before he was thrown in a brig for being weird and shady. "Our last mission some higher up in Hoshi made me pretend to be him in order to invite attack. If he himself were there the Noble's enemies would have been too scared to come out. Last I heard the real Akabayashi Terumi had taken over the interrogation of that girl and got some good information."

Truthfully, the Nara had followed up about the Jaws of Grimma and the current safety of the nobles. They were dumb, but still nice in their own way. When they passed the Nara they still waved hello and called him Akabayashi. The people escorting them were different this time meaning the situation wasn't fully handled, but luckily there were in capable hands.

Coming back with a stack of ninja scrolls the librarian said all of them needed sorted and moved to the new expansion within the archives. They were given a list of all the scrolls and told to place them alphabetically within the shelves. None of the scrolls had any valuable information in them, but in the wrong academy students hands they could be used poorly. Taking a stack of the scrolls the missing ninja would start on his walk toward the new expanded ninjutsu section.

The archives were as grandeous as everyone had said. There were shelves upon shelves of ninja scrolls, books, news articles, personnel records. Any information you wanted to know about likely sat in this very place. Hopefully, borrowing books was allowed as Ryuzaki had his eye and stomach on the cooking section. When he arrived at the new part of the archives the shelves were bare. The wood used to make them polished to a dazzling sheen, not a spec of dust in the place.

Picking up the first scroll the Nara would open and read the contents. Surface walking. Goes to S. The shelves were already separated into twenty-six smaller cabinets one for each letter. The Nara would check that scroll off of his list and move onto the next one. Basic Medical Ninjutsu. B and check. He would say crossing one more off the list. Fire Release: Fire Stream? F? F definitely F. This one confused the Nara slightly because he was unsure if Fire Release was part of the title or just a description, however Fire Stream also starting with an F made the task easier. He would however ask if the release was a part of the name otherwise things like Water Release: Ankle Splash would end up in W instead of A or A instead of W.

The librarian confirmed the type of release was not a part of the title and Ryuzaki grabbed another stack of scrolls. When he went back he would let Ciel know. "The librarian told me the type of release isn't part of the title its just a description." With that the Nara would keep loading the shelves and cross stuff off his list each time. When he finished with all the scrolls he would compare his list to Ciel's and note there were some things on the list, that they hadn't checked off.

Looking on the shelves for the appropriate section he still couldn't find them. "Some of these scrolls are missing. We should ask if that was all of the scrolls." Walking to the librarian either himself or Ciel would ask if that was all of the scrolls when she said yes, he or Ciel would inform her of the missing scrolls. At this news she grew very worried her face made Ryuzaki worry as well. What if they accuse me of stealing them? I didn't take anything, but I'm easy to blame. I should offer to help find them otherwise I could be in trouble. "I'll help look for them." He would say, but he was quickly dismissed as the librarian moved to get on the phone with someone else.

As time moved she began to calm her training telling her what to do in the situation. She closed the archives as instructed by the person on the other end of the phone. Ryuzaki and Ciel had to wait a bit for a shinobi to pat them down to confirm they weren't taking scrolls. After that they were able to leave, but were told they may ne needed further down in the investigation. It was nice to know currently they were not suspects, but that may be needed later thing was quite ominous. The walk away from the place would be dreadful.

"Whew, that was one hell of a workout i got to do that again sometime", the young Uchiha  had thought to himself as he took a sip of his water. He had been working out most of the morning doing varies workouts to improve his speed and stamina , something that he valued over the other skills that he could be working on and since he already knew his chakra reserves were pretty high Ciel thought that it was time to try working on a new jutsu to learn but before he could finish his workout he could here someone start to approach him. "Im in the middle of some good training here , so i hope whatever your bringing me it better be worth my time or ima be highly pissed off", he said in an annoyed tone. He hated when he was interrupted from training especially when he feels the session is going as good as its been that day, not to mention he was being interrupted in his favorite part of training. "My apologies sir , but im not sure what mission they have assigned you too , im only here to deliver the letter to you so dont blame me for having to stop your training", the messenger said before he handed Ciel the letter and then leaving quickly just as he arrived.

"Sigh, well i guess he did have a point there", Ciel  said as he opened the letter to see what kind of mission he would going on today and to his surprise it was a C rank mission. His eyes grew wide when he realized that he would be going on such a higher ranked mission especially since he was only a genin but he knew that he wouldnt be sent on a c ranked mission like this without having other ninja to accompany him on it. He quickly grab his stuff and made his way home to grab a few supplies before he headed out, not wanting to waste more time than needed to get this mission started because he wasent sure who had already headed out on the mission and would hate to be the last one to arrive or even worse arrive once its all over. It didnt take him long to grab his ninja supplies and a quickly change his clothes since his last outfit was covered in sweat and that was something he rather not be force t wear all day. 

As he moved through the ladscape making his way to the mission area he could only wander what made the higher ups would send him such a high mission, was this some kind of test to see where his progress was since graduating the academy. Either way for him he would enjoy himself, it wasent everyday he would be going on a higher ranked mission especially since he hasn’t been assigned any D ranked mission yet. He did however enjoy the extra money that he was getting from completing C ranked mission , a decent amount more than he would be getting if he was out doing D rank missions. As he arrived at the library he couldn’t help but wander why he never came here before since there was so much he could learn there. As he walked in he noticed that the shinobi from the last mission was there as well but unfortunately for Ciel he had forgotten his name.

Once closer to the other shinobi they both greeted each other and to Ciel surprise the boy spoke about being able to be himself today and not go by another’s name, which would on a normal day cause some questions to be ask but Ciel decide it be best to have that conversation after the mission was completed. Before Ciel could say anything the boy started telling him about why he didn’t use his name last time and was impersonating someone else, something that didn’t really concern him but he didn’t wanna seem rude so he just nodded his head in agreement to what was said. Moments later the librarian came and started to give them both scrolls that needed to be organized and informed them if they notice anything out of place that we should let her know. “Well this is about to be one long ass day , why couldn’t this be more entertaining or atleast give me the opportunity to read some of these scrolls without getting in trouble”, he would think to himself as he grabbed his share of the scrolls and made his way to the book shelf’s.

As he looked around he could tell that a lot of effort was used to place all these scroll so perfectly on the shelf’s, something Ciel knew he didn’t have the attention span to do for long.    As he made it to his his section the shelf’s were empty and clean , just waiting to be used. As they both worked to fill up the shelf’s they had notice that scrolls were mission and seeing as though they rather not get blamed for stealing , Ciel had informed the librarian about it the mission scrolls and had the two boys wait there while she called someone and shut down the archives. Ciel did become slightly worried about the situation because the last thing he needed was drama in his life right now , especially because he didn’t do anything wrong. He did however hoped that whoever took the scrolls were caught soon , the last thing he needed was to be interrogated. After a while a couple other shinobi showed up and patted the two boys down to make sure they weren’t hiding any scrolls and once done they both were able to leave out and go home and with the mission over with , it was time to go and collect his payment for the day. He had plans for the money he was about to get and needed to get back home before it was to late.
