Cool Cat

Mission:

When he had agreed to join the village he had thought it was nothing but a ceremonial type thing. That he would still maintain his own autonomy and on rare occasions he would help out in more of a consultation level. This however, was not the case as this was the second time he was requested to perform duties that where below his station. The first having been to help with a ship. That had at least been swung in such a way that he was needed for his merit and skill, but this one.....finding a cat. He quite thought his cousin must be annoyed with him for no reason at all, and that was why the scroll had ended up on his doorstep.

Still, far be it from Asahi Yagami to turn down such a noble mission. He couldn't even think it without rolling his eyes. Making his way into the castle that was still nothing more than an eye sore Asahi would begin his mission of searching out the frisky feline. There was a minor detour to the kitchens, and then to some comfortable lounge seating he found in a library. Of course he looked in these rooms, it wasn't as though he was putting off doing any of the real labor that was needed. Still no sign of the cat, even with the exhaustive amount of work that was being placed into it. Taking a seat in a large chair, he closed his eyes. Forming several hand seals he began to truly focus.

This lasted for a couple minutes, but somehow his heart just wasn't in it, and before he knew it sleep had possessed him. His dreams where of ghosts, their attire decades out o fashion. There words like whispers, impossible to make out. This was not the first time such dreams had filled his mind, especially in areas that called to the ghosts of the past. There where two in-particular, one in light colors and one in dark. Both female, but to far away to make out their features. Rarely did the spirits of his dream notice him, but these two looked him straight in the face with their whispering. Just as they where moving closer he felt a pressure, and his mind was ripped from the dream.

Snapping awake, his hands instinctively reached forward grabbing onto the sudden point of pressure. Finger tips sliding through fur a large meow let him know that he had captured the cat. Smiling he stood up, the cat purring in his arms. Happy that he had completed the mission, but sad he had been ripped from his dream, it was with mixed emotions he finished out the mission. First to the vet and then returning to the palace to drop off the cat. Checking in and logging the mission he would make his way home. The bit of extra cash in his pocket was not unwelcome, but his mind stayed on the two figures he had seen. He'd have to mention it to Yasahiro next he saw him, curiosity driving away his aforementioned annoyance at his cousin, and technically leader.
