The letter had been a peculiar one. Wrapped in a sheet of colorful paper with many designs of wreaths and shiny balls, in red, green and golden patterns, it had come to a surprise to the Raikage when it was addressed to him not by his title, but by his name. Moreover, it had been delivered to his home, rather than the Raikage's office. His byakugan inspected the interior to make sure no contraption was ready to harm him when he opened it; having only a couple scrolls inside, the redhead opened the letter, reading it carefully.
For some reason, the letter felt… genuine. It was high praise coming from one as paranoid as Noboru, who might've felt this was but a trap. But even the letter bore slight notes of vanilla and cinnamon, and the entire deal felt quite natural, for reasons he couldn't bring himself to rationally explain.
Laying the summoning seal scroll on a table, Noboru touched it with his palm and flooded it with chakra; it shone as it activated, filling the room with a glow of light before he found himself terribly cold, facing rather festive gates. The Peppermint Gates at the Snow Country welcomed Noboru, whose Byakugan, underneath his eyepatch, took in all the glory of the festive construction, before disabling it when he realized there was no danger to himself.
As he walked in, a man rushed towards him. "Lord Noboru? Thank you for coming! We are in dire need of help, I'm afraid. Lord Yoi is cooped up in his office, for a rumor is circulating regarding a potential sabotage operation of the cookie factory! If you and your party would be so kind as to protect the factory, we might just be able to save the holiday!"
Noboru was quite taken aback by the disposition of the man, and when he mentioned his party, Noboru turned around to find out who he was talking about.

Saiya walked along a room, her eyes darting intently from one space to another. She was counting mentally, before she voiced her number confidently. “Sixty-four!” She said, as if speaking to someone else within the room with her. It was then that her number was met with a scribble. “Sixty-four? Are you certain?” The voice asked, Enyo stepping forward to stand next to Saiya as she handed her the clipboard for the inventory log. Saiya moved back happily as she watched as her friend and boss counted behind her. Enyo, shaking her head would sigh disappointedly. “Saiya, you’ve counted the wrong thing. These are butterfly syringes, I asked you for insulin syringes. We have one-hundred-four of them. Please cross out what I marked and put that number.” Saiya was not useless, she just tend to allow herself to get ahead from time to time, but she was good at her job whenever Enyo was away. As if she was purposefully messing up just to be scolded by her.
“That will be all for the day, we are done here. I’ll need you to upload that log into the hospital systems so that our next shipment would reflect the numbers that we need for restock.” Saiya finishing up and placing the pen down on the clipboard would smile. “Yes, Lady Enyo. I’ll get that done right away…” She replied as she was passed by, Enyo stepping out the room and Saiya followed. They walked down one of the halls. Enyo, noticing that her assistant was far too quiet for a normal day would wonder what was on her mind. “What is it?” Her question snapped the girl out of her daze. “My lady?” She questioned. Enyo glanced over her left shoulder. “You’re quiet. That means you’re thinking. So what’s bothering you?” It never cease to surprise the nurse just how invested Enyo was when it came to her. She knew her well, perhaps better than she knew herself.
“Your hand, does it still hurt?” Her big amber eyes would fall to the stump of the woman before her. Enyo looking at the former home of her left hand. Healed well thanks to her friend and lead, Ichigo. The missing hand was a constant reminder to her that she was out of line on a past mission and she needed to think things through before overstepping. “It’s fine. Stop worrying over the limbs that I lose. If I’m fine with it, you should be too.” Her response was met with silence from the nurse. Saiya felt that she may have asked on a sensitive subject. “But thank you, for being concerned. If not for you, I’d forget that I’m only human at the end of the day.”
It was that gratitude from the Goddess of War that would brighten the smile on Saiya’s face. She wasn’t a bother after all. “Someone has to worry about you. You spend your entire day here in the hospital looking after the patience and staff. When you’re not here, you’re training somewhere.” She spoke nothing but the truth, the woman was cold and steely on the outside, but warm and caring on the inside when it came to her people.
They part ways, Enyo breaking off to the left and Saiya continuing straight. She arrived at her office, or which she shared with Ichigo. Entering and making her way to her desk she would find a letter… looking around the room she would wonder where it came from. “Is this from Ichigo?” She would question aloud, softly. Taking it up in her right hand, bandaged to her shoulder. Maneuvering her fingers along the seam to open it cleanly. She removed the content of it. Reading the note her eye would widen subtly as she caught the fragrance of cinnamon and vanilla. It…it reminded her of her mother’s holiday morning routine. Fresh backed cookies and cocoa. She missed that. Fond memories she forgot that she had….she forgot that she…had.
The note was tethered to a scroll? It mentioned that it would have been. Placing the note down on the desk she would give the room another look around before placing her hand on the seal and channeling her chakra through it. Within an instant she went from being warm and toasty to cold. She was now before the gates of the moon country. But she was not alone on her arrival. That build, that hair color and that presence was none other than…her Raikage. He was speaking with a man. Shortly after being addressed the Kage turned to see that Enyo was standing there. Her posture of that of the drumming and her expression void of much other than irritation. Towards him? No, even if he was the man that took her hand, she deserved it and does not hold that against him. It was towards the letter writer. “They could have mentioned bringing a coat or something.” She said, giving the Raikage a single nod of acknowledgment as she stepped forward. So, he was summoned here as well.

Yuu had woken up with a letter in his hands, which was an incredibly alarming experience. Ever since he'd lost his sight, the Ex-Hyuuga had had an incredible sense of his surroundings; he hadn't been caught off guard in months. The fact that someone, something, had managed to get past his nigh-omnipresent view of everything around him was incredibly scary. Whoever had left the letter hadn't even done anything actually harmful, they'd just... Left a letter. Somehow, that was more unnerving than it would've been if they'd come at him with intent to harm.
As he opened the letter, he felt a slight chill run up his spine when he realized that the letter had been written in brail. His ability to read brail was still severely lacking - he hadn't been blind for long, and wasn't the best at studying after all - but he still recognized the letters to his own name. Somehow, someone had snuck into his room to leave a letter in his hands, they also somehow knew his name, and that he was blind. It wasn't like he hid that fact anymore, but he didn't actively tell anyone. The only people he'd spoken to in recent memory were his teacher Lachesis and that other guy with weird paper skin.
It took him forever to finish reading the letter, but he was only left more confused than not after he'd finished reading everything. Still, he felt a burning curiosity. What was this letter? Could it actually teleport him as it'd said? Yuu hadn't heard of any seals capable of such before but, then again, he hadn't been a ninja for long. He felt like it was a bad idea, but he carefully peeled the letter. After all, his life had already been in the hands of this person when they'd snuck past him and left a letter on his bed, if they wanted him dead he'd be so already.
Without much more preamble, the blind genin unsealed the scroll before an intense feeling of disorientation assaulted all of his senses.
His feet lightly impacted some snow, and then Yuu realized his mistake. That being: moon country was cold, and Yuu was dressed in an old robe with a thin layer of bandages being his only reprieve from the cold. He shivered and focussed on his surroundings, quickly realizing that there were others with him. As Nobo turned around, he'd see an incredibly thin young boy with a vacant expression, long dark hair, and a Konohagakure headband on his forehead.

Today was a strange day of festivities in the Moon Country. Gin being a curious fellow opted to dry an assortment of delicacies offered by this village. The day was initially progressing quite slowly but it wasn’t long before the soul crunching presence of his Kage reigned in the Akimichis feast. “Oh?” he wondered – the likes of the Raikage appeared before the Peppermint Gates. He arched a brow, duty bound to approach and greet the Kage.
Just as Gin began making his way forward, a startled male rushed over to the Kage, pleading for his help – there had been rumours of the village lord being couped up in his dwelling in light of some spoil sports intending to sabotage the festivities but Gin figured they were nothing but rumours. Entering ear shot range, he picked up a large proportion of the conversation, nodding a couple of times as he swallowed the last few skewers of lamb.
From Gins perspective, it appeared as if the Kage in tandem with two other Shinobi were summoned for the purpose of protecting the village festivities. All in all, Gin was now somehow caught up in this mission – with the summons promptly appearing in his breast pocket. Rolling his shoulders a little he flashed a palm to the Kage before gently bowing his head – “Lord Raikage.” He muttered, his weight endowed feet leaving a steady trail from the interior of the gates. Armed with a skewer of deep fried chicken, the Akimichi greeted the other two individuals with a straight smile and a “Hi.”
He was naturally looking forward to figuring out the nature of this summons and by way of rank unconsciously delegated the command of the mission to the Raikage.
