Last second!

Making his way into the castle, Daiko made a sigh of relief. In his mind, he was already halfway done with the training that he was meant to be preforming. This brought a sense of solace to his mind, one that would not be soon forgotten. Stretching out, he takes one more look around... Nothing too apparent had changed with his castle since he had last left it. Though the place was filled with many empty rooms; spaces where his passion may have been pourn if not ended so abruptly... He found peace. He walked into one of the empty rooms about the size of a ballroom, reminding himself what he had originally planned to do here. Ah... What a shame it was. What a shame it will be, when this castle essentially crumbles to nothing. Unknown to the world; hardly known by the ones he cares for the most. He supposed that this was the way of a shinobi, especially one as... (blood?)Thirsty as himself. Searching around, he found what looked to be the perfect spot... An area that he wouldn't mind destroying with his upcoming training. The time to act was now.
Cracking his knuckles, Daiko decided that his best bet might be to fight one of his black beasts. That would be cool. Doing nesssesary preparations, Dako would summon the black beast and have it stand in front of him. Ah man, that was cool. It was the wind one. It was very thin, and not too tall. Not too large, not too small. Just the way it was meant to be. Cracking his knuckles, he gets into a fighting position, which... for him, was basically putting his hands on top of his head and staring at the creature like a dumbass. I guess this was truly the way of a shinobi, or something like that. It had seemed that that trope grew more stale by the moment, and without even having performed any handsigns his fingersfelt somewhat sore. Less than 800 words and his fingers were sore.. It just spoke volumes to Daiko's inexperience in the field and lack of training when it came to his duties as a ninja. Absolutely disappointing. Running towards his black beast, he immediately gets his shit rocked by a tentacle that sends him on his ass. Oh, right. Somehow, in his infinite knowledge, Daiko had forgotten that running straight into a fight without really thinking about it would get one killed;; especially if they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Daiko truly hoped that whoever read that enjoyed the reference. Even so, with this battle came a responsibility to himself and to his past peers. He had to make sure that he would come up on top. Weaving together handseals, Daiko shot out various spacetime chains that latched onto the black beast, forming a cage around it. While it didn't really matter because the black beast had been controlled by him the entire time, it was still quite a sight. Daiko only wished that he'd have been able to achieve something similar on one of his opponents. Maybe oneday, he will. That day was not today however, as the black beast slowly came back and merged once again with Daiko's body. His scars were getting better, if only for his interest in the medical skill that he had spent hardly any time honing. He wondered if there would be any new skills he could pick up, or if maybe he could make use of that one technique. He couldn't remember exactly what it was, however... There was something eating at him. Why had he begun doing this training in the first place? He couldn't remember.
