Today was just full of strange surprises; Daiki had arrived upon this paradise of a sandy beach resort a few days ago and he had found that he was keeping busy during his time upon the beach due to all the jobs and duties that were present for everyone in attendance at the beach. He also got a nice little place to lie down each night in the form of a snazzy hotel room that was free of charge for him to lay his head down in though his services seemed to be more than enough needed to cover for his nights there. The staff of the hotel he stayed at would give him letters every morning that would have him go out and do something related to his ninja abilities in order to protect the other beachgoers or accomplish mundane tasks for them in order to make them returning customers. One such task he was in the process of doing right now as he walked along the white sandy beach, other people running around and swimming and having a good time, as he walked in a swim trunks and sandals combo that was provided to him by the hotel. Also free of charge. This allowed him to tan his well trained and muscular body in the sun as some of the female beachgoers were clearly getting eye candy from seeing him but he was oblivious to such stares.
His main focus of attention was on the waters of the beach as the task that he had been given for the morning was the coverage of a shift belonging to a lifeguard that he often ran into while he himself enjoyed the beach. The lifeguard had called in sick for the day and the hotel had assigned Daiki to fulfill the much needed role of replacement lifeguard since he had shown that he had skills when it came to controlling water and was also very strong. Strong enough to fend off sharks if needed which Daiki had the sneaking suspicion they fully expected him to be able to do. He'd never seen a shark before but, with what research he had done on them during his academy days, they were highly dangerous animals that could chomp a human in half with their sharper than razors teeth. He didn't expect that he was going to have to take on a shark at any point throughout his eight hour shift but anything was possible to happen so he couldn't discount the possibility completely.
He took a deep breath as he walked over to the lifeguard stand that was nearby and hopped up in order to sit himself in the rather uncomfortable chair that sat at the top of the stand. He was aware that it was not meant for comfort but to provide a way to rest the lifeguard's legs so they didn't tire out while also keeping him vigilant from atop a vantage point towards all that happened within the water. This made looking around rather easy for Daiki as he could see a good distance all around the water and he'd be able to act quickly should something start to happen. It certainly was something that kept the sleep out of his eyes as he sat atop the chair with his attention fully upon the water and the beach that was surrounding him on all sides. The calming breeze that ran across the heated sands of the beach brought forth a small wave of sand that lingered in front of him atop his seat for a little while as his thoughts went to his village, however far away it was from this strange place, as he thought about how much beautiful the village would seem to outsiders if they had a beach like this.
His thoughts would be interrupted by the sounds of a mother calling her child back to the shore but the kid was being very defiant against her and swimming farther away from the shore instead. With a sigh Daiki would bring up a hand and form a few hand seals as he channeled his chakra out towards the water in order to control it and form waves around the kid that was confused as to what was going on. Daiki understood that it was fun being in the water but he also knew that children at that age shouldn't ignore their parents thus he used the waves he controlled to gently push the kid back towards the shore as he was set at the mother's feet before the waves sank away and back into the ocean from whence they had come. The mother, frustrated at her kid yet also confused at what had just happened, took him by the wrist and dragged him away from the water to their towel as Daiki watched knowing that the kid was more than likely in for a world of hurt. He looked back out towards the water in order to give them their privacy as he continued to watch the waves and the people within them enjoying their swims.
As he sat on his chair, allowing the sounds of the waves of the ocean to ease his mind and allow the time to pass smoothly, he thought about what all he was going to do soon as he was finished with his shift. He had a feeling that he didn't have a lot more time to hang out in this paradise and that, at any point and time, he would be teleported back to his boring home in a village that he had lived in for years and hardly accomplished anything in. This was more than a little disconcerting for him, his mind having been on the negative side of things for a while ever since the Chunin exams, for he had completed a decent number of missions as a Genin yet didn't feel as though he had gotten anywhere in terms of recognition from his peers. Medical ninja haven't really ever had the best track record for being the most contributive, when it came to power, for their village and peers except for a ninja of long ago that was so good at medical ninjutsu she could heal fatal injuries in an instant and punch with enough strength she drilled holes into mountains with ease.
He hoped that he would reach such levels himself one day but for now he felt he still had a long way to go and that in itself was a bit of a concern to him. Of course he couldn't discount how far he had come already, having attained enough strength to knock a tree down without the need of chakra tuning, and that served as a form of endearing positivity for him in order to keep him looking forward to the future. A voice would ring in his head saying a quote that he had been told many years back. 'When you're all the way at the bottom and can't go any further the only direction that is available to you is up.' Daiki looked up at the sky towards the sun that was high in the sky before looking back to the water and smiling. He would get to be a great ninja one day and he would be the world's greatest medic as well. It wasn't a question of if to him. He couldn't and wouldn't allow it to be. It was only a matter of when.
Time passed slowly as Daiki was mainly up top upon the lifeguard chair for a majority of his shift. Nothing out of the ordinary happened during his time as acting lifeguard but it was certainly a nice experience for him to round his day down on. It got to the point where there was only an hour of time left for Daiki before his shift was over as he decided that he had been sitting on his butt for long enough as he hopped down from the chair and decided to walk and patrol the beach as he waited for the time. The sun had gotten a little bit lower in the sky, evening hours still hours away, as he looked around in the water to keep a watch over the beachgoers to make certain nothing terrible was going to happen at the last minute. Everyone overall, however, looked as though they were having a great time as he could feel his stomach growling telling him that he was going to need to eat something soon due to having skipped lunch for this shift.
Something would catch his attention, however, as he looked out over the ocean and saw what looked to be someone in the water seemingly practicing fire style jutsu without a care in the world over who was around him. He could see that people were nervously watching the man as he was breathing out fire all around them and scaring them almost as though he was wanting to scare him or was just trying to draw more attention to himself. He didn't look like a ninja that he was familiar with. Daiki didn't even know if the dude was a ninja to begin with what with him haphazardly using such fiery jutsu without a care in the world. If he had any sort of ninja training he should've learned the arts of concealment and how showboating serves a ninja no purpose in or out of the battlefield and only places people around them in danger. Thus, being a lifeguard and because Daiki was getting sick of the individual in question, he stepped out onto the surface of the water. Chakra would form and fluctuate out of his soles into the water's surface allowing him to walk along it as he brought up a hand sign and the water churned in order to surf him towards the man that was still throwing fire styles around.
The man seemed to notice Daiki coming towards him as he suddenly flipped around, forming a hand seal himself, and blowing out a large fireball that barely missed the heads of swimmers that were scared of what he was doing. With the formation of a few more hand seals Daiki would direct the water around him up and in front of him as a swirling shield of water would catch the fireball and cause it to instantly fizzle out into harmless steam that fully covered up Daiki as he surfed towards his now clearly hostile target. He put a bit more speed into his surf as he emerged from the steam with the water shield still up and he noticed the man had also decided to advance as he ran atop the water's surface with a speed that surprised Daiki. Obviously this dude had to be a ninja as he was not only running along the surface of water, which is a technique that takes great chakra control to do, but he was also showing great agility that only a large amount of shinobi training could give a person.
Daiki would respond to the advance by maneuvering the water shield down in front of him, flipping it from vertical to horizontal, as it spin rapidly and the man decided to dodge it completely by hopping over it while attempting to deliver a kick to Daiki's face. Daiki would respond by bringing up one of his hands in order to catch the foot before it could connect but he looked up to see the man already forming hand seals before blowing forth yet another stream of fire down upon Daiki which caused him to swing his arm around causing the man to fly with his arm like a ragdoll. This had also caused him to lose aim at Daiki, leaving the blond haired ninja unharmed, before he would bring the man down hard upon the surface of the water causing a massive splash! He then used his free hand to form a few more hand seals and the water now surrounding the man would envelope him and grow heavy, wrapping him up like a cocoon, as Daiki used the water shield he created earlier to keep the man from sinking into the water of the ocean. The shield would lift him up into the air, the water surrounding him still keeping him imprisoned, as Daiki stretched out his shoulders while looking at the man like he was crazy.
His victory of capturing the man would be short lived, however, as the man would form hand seals within the water and fire would erupt around his fingers in order to circle around and heat up the water he was in to the point of melting it away. He would use this to break out of the water prison while blowing yet another plume of fire towards Daiki but Daiki would reach forward and grab the guy by the mouth, his hand being burned in the process, as the guy's fire would backfire within his mouth all as Daiki cracked his neck in frustration before punching the guy in the forehead to knock him out. He would then renew the water prison that had been taken down around the man before using the water around them to transport quickly back to the shore of the beach so that he could turn the man in to the local authorities. The burn around his hand would heal by itself slowly as Daiki surfed back to the shore until the pain and burn were completely gone.
After turning the man in to the police of the beach, the police using their own restrictive ninjutsu and fuinjutsu in order to keep him from doing anything else flashy, as he heard a couple of claps around the beach towards him and he felt awkward while waving and smiling before walking away and back over to the lifeguard chair. The people who had been around the fire style guy had also swam to the shore and was coming up and thanking Daiki for his protection as he nodded to them and said that he was happy to help. After a little while of sitting atop the chair he pulled out his watch in order to look at the time. He only had thirty minutes left in his shift so he decided he'd wait out the rest of his time on the clock watching from the chair the next time something else either stupid, dangerous, or both happened out in the water or along the beach. Taking a deep breath and putting the watch back into the pocket of his swim trunks he would continued to watch the beautiful water as the sun caused sparkles to emerge and make the ocean magnifying how brilliantly blue it all was.
After a little bit longer, the thirty minutes ticking by uneventfully for Daiki, he looked around to see his replacement coming and he happily hopped up and off the chair in order to relieve it for the other guy. He was thanked for his last minute shift handling and he walked away with a bit of money in his pocket as he made his way to the nearby restaurant in order to get himself something to eat and unwind. Being a lifeguard was, for the most part, pretty boring work as he sat down upon a stool of a burger joint and ordered a fair amount of food. As he sat waiting on the stool he was given a complimentary glass of tea which he drank happily while allowing himself to relax and look around to watch the water and the sun again. He looked down at his hand that had been burned earlier and flexed it in order to check to see if it was ok after the healing and he was relieved to see he still retained feeling and motor function within it.
Upon getting the burger he'd ordered he would start eating it slowly in order to savor it as the sounds of the waves behind him helped his natural mental energies within help him relax and enjoy the meal all the more. As he ate a few beachgoers would come by and thank Daiki once again, a few of the younger kids giving him seashells they had found upon the beach which he pocketed due to never having seen a seashell before, as he thanked them for the gifts before going back to his meal. The burger was very well done and the tea helped smooth it for his stomach as he finished the burger and stretched out his limbs in order to get his muscles warmed up for further activity. He couldn't go swimming for an hour due to the food he had just consumed but he could find other ways to keep his body active and burn as much of the calories that he had just consumed.
He would thus pay for the meal and thank the restaurant owners for their hospitality before leaving the restaurant and going for a jog along the beach. He had taken off his sandals and was holding them in his hand as he jogged all so he could feel the soft beach sand conform to his soles and toes as he didn't run too fast for his jog in order to retain some stamina. After a while of jogging he would then break out into a faster run as the beach seemed to span for a mile around which gave Daiki plenty of jogging distance to cover. He would wave to people that he passed by before reaching one end of the beach and turning around in order to continue with his jog. His stamina training was paying off as even the sand wasn't really doing much to tire him out faster during the run as he continued to run for multiple minutes before having to take a break in order to regain his breath before continuing. He did a few jumping jacks in order to keep active as he regained his breath before stopping completely in order to take a seat and look out towards the water as he allowed his burning muscles to regain their energy before he continued to exercise them.
He laid down within the sand as he looked up to the sky, watching the floating clouds pass by peacefully as the breeze that came with them caressed his body cooling him off, as he soon looked up from his position and saw a group of kids playing around and making a sand castle right beside him. One of them looked at him and came up asking if he wanted to join in as they were in the process of making the "best sand castle ever" which managed to get a chuckle out of Daiki as he got up and agreed to help them. Being that he had grown up in a village built mostly around sand he knew more than enough to understand how to use it effectively. Sand castle building, though, he knew next to nothing about as he took this as a nice learning opportunity as well as a way to unwind and enjoy his time on the beach a bit better. The progress that the kids had made in the sand castle production thus far was actually really well done by Daiki's standards as they had made the caster at a height that was about as tall as they were which was considerable considering the children were about 4 feet tall each.
He didn't want to spend too much time doing this as he didn't want to seem like a creep to outside eyes thus he formed a few hand seals and placed his palms upon the sand around the castle as the sand moved apart thanks to his earth properties that he had control of. He would form a moat around the castle, one that he then filled with water that surrounded the castle, before he stood up and saw that it now looked like a castle he had read in a book surrounded by water that held man eating animals that lived within that water. The kids were in awe and happy over what Daiki had done as he left them there to continue playing before going on his merry way to do something else to spend his day. He would jog along the beach once again to pass the time as the minutes ticked by and it came time for him to be able to dive into the water and take a nice and long dip and swim.
He first did a few butterfly strokes as he had heard that it was a great exercise in order to increase cardio strength as well as chest strength and it certainly proved to be a nice workout as he could feel his stamina quickly getting drained as he swam around in the water and past everyone else that was swimming inside with them. He would then change strokes to a backstroking motion as he swam peacefully along the cool and blue water while staring up at the sky once again in order to get in the serene frame of mind to allow him to swim for as long as possible. After a while of swimming he stopped and allowed his body to float along the surface of the water, his body being tanned by the sup up above him, as the used his chakra in order to control the water carrying him so that he didn't bump into anyone and possibly disturb them. He closed his eyes as he did so in order to rest his eyes for a little bit before he had the waves carry him back to the shore of the beach so that he could flip around and start walking along the sand again.
As he walked along the beach he noticed a couple of individuals, one male and one female, seemingly having a very loud discussion over something as Daiki could hear from their conversation that they were here on their honeymoon. He initially wanted to ignore them and go about his normal and peaceful day but as they got louder and the things they said to each other got more hurtful and personal he couldn't let it slide as he walked over to them in order to start up a conversation. It was initially his plan to ask them to wait and have this argument behind closed doors as they were most likely going to be accused of causing a disturbance with their yelling and potentially get in trouble. The couple, however, seemed to be very open about their relationship and started to tell him about the issues they've been going through in terms of finances and other issues that were outside of their love for each other. Daiki wasn't any sort of marriage counselor but his devotion to learning the medical aspects of ninjutsu solely for the purpose to help others pushed him to talk to them and try to help them out as much as possible.
He ultimately didn't solve any major problems with just words but he was sure he had given them the encouragement and motivation to try and make their marriage work even through the outside issues. Finances were important in keeping a family together and strong, sure, but there would be no point in any of it if there was no family to begin with. They understood this and quieted down and began to enjoy their day on the beach once again as Daiki got up and quickly got away from them before his conscience made him hear something else and compel him to get back into the middle of their problems again. He jogged away and tried to focus on his exercise, the water of the ocean he had just swam in shaking off of him and falling down into the sand to blend into it, as he shook his head in order to get the water that was in his hair out. He stopped after making certain he had gotten a fair distance away from the couple and moved the sandals he had been carrying back down and over his feet before lying down on the ground and watching the sky once again in order to rest up.
He laid there in the sand as he closed his eyes and allowed his mind to once again fall into a meditative state as his chakra within his body surged causing him to once again fall into the realm of the man within his mind. He opened his eyes to see that the beach looked a lot more different than before, the sky purple in color with black and sinister looking clouds floating along their trajectory, as he sat up and felt the sand was normal in texture yet blue in it's color. He looked out over the water and the waves seemed to be of the same color of brilliant blue as usual but they churned with much greater ferocity as he saw the man he was all too accustomed with seeing in worlds like these standing along the surface of the water out a ways with his back to Daiki. Giving a long sigh Daiki got up from his seat and wiped the sand off of his back and swim trunks before making his way over to the water and cracking his knuckles due to the fact that every time he comes here he usually has to get into a fight.
His sandals splashed upon the surface of the water as he walked out to meet the guy clearly waiting for him as he stopped more than ten meters away from him and gave a slight cough with his throat. The old man slowly turned around to face Daiki, his eyes glowing in the dark setting, as Daiki was honestly tired being here again and again doing this with someone that only ever seemed to want to push him to his limits and then beyond until he was either dead or the victor. Hokuto looked at Daiki with a smirk spreading across his face as he brought a hand up from around his back and formed a hand seal as Daiki felt his body becoming heavier as though the gravity around the two of them had just been cranked up. No... It was more like the gravity had only been increased around Daiki as Hokuto looked completely relaxed and smug with his freaking smirk.

Daiki took in a deep breath and fought the increased gravity in order to keep himself up, his strength proving to be strong enough to make the increased gravity seem more of a nuisance than a detriment, as he stood his ground and Hokuto then formed another hand seal as rocks started to crop up from below all around them, carving themselves up and forming humanoid versions of what seemed to be Hokuto himself, as there were twenty of them now surrounding Daiki as he gulped and got into a defensive fighting position ready for the attack that was certainly about to come his way. His eyes moved all around him at all of the clones, his body turning so that he could see all the others that were standing behind him in the circle, as he took slow and steady breaths while Hokuto formed seven quick hand seals in rapid succession and the result was the clones getting down into their own battle stances before two of them would hop forth towards Daiki from behind. He suspected this would happed as he quickly hopped up into the air in order to avoid the stone clones from colliding into him, his body flipping around in the air, as the water churned around the clones that had punched the area where Daiki had just been.
He found, however, that while his body was accustomed to his increased gravity it still affected how much time he could spend in the air as he quickly found himself falling towards the water at a rate he wasn't expecting. He used the momentum to land a diving kick on one of the stone clones, chakra channeling through his feet and legs, as his enhanced in strength kick caused the clone to turn to dust and chunks of stones that sank into the water. He fell onto the surface of the water hard, his feet channeling chakra in order to keep himself above it, as he got back up to standing straight before directing another kick around in order to catch the gut of an approaching stone clone and crumple it to dust as well. He saw that a few more clones were heading his way as suddenly the gravity around Daiki felt even heavier and he looked around and over to Hokuto who still had a hand up in order to not only keep the gravity around Daiki increased but also to increase it in increments as Daiki went on.
Daiki knew what Hokuto was doing with this: He was training Daiki in using his strength more efficiently and to make him even stronger as he had to exert more in order to achieve the same results. This way he'd be able to achieve greater results once the gravity was finally taken off of him. With a sigh he fought through the increased gravity and dashed at one of the stone clones in order to deliver a punch directly into it's chest, his fist crumbling straight through it's stone body, before bringing a leg around in order to roundhouse the head off of another clone that had been rushing behind it towards Daiki. He landed in the water just in time to turn his body and land another stone crushing punch into the head of another clone, the debris of which crumbling into the water as the rest of it's body also crumbled down along with the head, as Daiki felt the gravity around him increase yet again but he fought against it in order to push himself forward towards all the rest of the clones. His leg muscles burned as they propelled him through the gravitational hurdle as he continued to pound all of the clones to dust while trying to remain nimble enough to dodge all their attacks.
It wasn't easy but eventually Daiki was standing victorious before Hokuto, the remains of all the stone clones having fallen into the water uselessly, as he panted due to all the strength he had exerted and found that his stamina was still something he needed to work on. He turned around to face Hokuto as the older ninja brought down his hand and Daiki felt gravity return to normal around him causing his legs to turn to jelly as Hokuto watched with that same stupid smirk on his face. Daiki would get up to his feet and stretch out his limbs in order to get feeling back into them before Hokuto would turn his back upon Daiki once again. Daiki could feel himself returning to his consciousness as he watched Hokuto give him a wave. He soon was zooming through his consciousness back into his body as he opened his eyes and found himself back in the real and colorful world, still laying on his back in the sand, as he sat up and wiped the sand out of his hair and off his back while wondering why Hokuto kicked him out so quickly.
He took in a deep breath, feeling that his limbs were well rested since his physical body had been lying down in the sand all that time, as he got up to his feet and stretched his body out while looking around the beach in order to get his bearings straight. He looked at the water and saw that it was once again beautiful thanks to it's surrounding colors as he sighed in relief that he actually didn't have to stay any longer in that world than he already had as he walked over to the water and dove in to fully wake himself up. He swam in the water for a few minutes, getting his muscles some exercise once more while trying to have himself a good time just hanging out at the beach, before he got back out and dried himself off by shaking his head in order to get the water out and let the air and breeze dry the rest of his body off. It was too bad he hadn't brought a towel with him to the beach but that didn't get his mood down as he thought about going for another jog.
He was interrupted as he noticed someone coming up to him waving him down as he relaxed and waited for them to come to him as Daiki was presented with yet another assignment possibility. Apparently there was a group of individuals shooting a movie and they were in need of a replacement stunt double for their main actor as the other one had quit. Considering Daiki was blond haired he was a nice last minute option for them to turn to as he was dragged over to the set of the beach scene they were shooting as Daiki was going to need to dress up for the role. Daiki didn't know how to feel about this turn to his day but being part of a movie actually sounded pretty fun to him as he declined needing to dress up as he took a look at the character he was to portray for the movie and he brought up a hand to form hand seals before his body became enveloped in a plume of smoke and once it disappeared he was standing there looking exactly the same as the actor.
Everyone was impressed as they proceeded to carry out the scene in particular as he watched the actor go through their lines, going through multiple takes, as Daiki saw that this was meant to be a combination of a romance, comedy, and action series. He could've sworn he recognized the actor who played as the main character, who wasn't who he was playing as, as the scene that needed Daiki happened and they moved him into position to get ready for whatever was to come. What helped him out was the fact that this was supposed to be a ninja movie and the guy he was playing as was an actual ninja, must've been from another village because Daiki didn't recognize him, as he was to be expected to pull off some hard ninja maneuvers. He wondered why they couldn't get the real actor to pull off any of these stunts himself but he chalked it up to potential injury getting in the way and ruining potential future movies. Thus he stepped up to the plate and listened to what the directors needed from him to do this.
They were going to need him to perform a complicated maneuver with a beach umbrella that would require some skill to perform as he was supposedly going to be going up against a sword wielder with it. Considering that Daiki was not a weapons specialist this was going to be a lot harder and scarier than he anticipated but the directors and producers assured him that the umbrella was made of a material that was more than strong enough to stop a sword in it's tracks so he didn't have to worry about it breaking and him getting sliced by accident. That didn't really help ease Daiki's nerves as he needed to know how to wield the umbrella like a weapon in the first place as he took up the large umbrella in his hands and awkwardly moved it around and took a deep breath. The set was prepared and Daiki was placed in his spot as the other person he was fighting against, one of the villain's henchmen who had been sent to capture him, pulled out a sword and got into a samurai type stance that Daiki tried to replicate with his colorful umbrella prop. Daiki could already tell before the director said "action!" that this was going to be a very bad time for everyone involved.
It would take a few takes of the scene, a good fifty or so in fact, until the director felt that they had enough footage that was great and ready for implementation. Daiki would be dismissed from the group, his form dropping as he went back to his original form, as they gave him a bit of money for his trouble and sent him on his way. He would thus go on the jog as he had originally planned and made his way to the other end of the beach in order to stretch his limbs out and work the kinks out once more. It didn't take long for him to get back into his groove as the sun was descending over the horizon and was causing the water to set ablaze in the reflective surface like wildfire. It was certainly a very beautiful sight to behold as he couldn't help but park himself where he was and take a seat in order to continue watching from his position. He could see the small waves crashing into each other, the surface of the water spilling all around in the sunlight, as he looked towards the sunset in order to allow himself to relax.
He took in calm and deep breaths before getting back up to his feet and hopping up and down on his feet a little bit in order to get his legs ready for either another jog or some more leg exercises. It wouldn't be long once he got up that he was approached by yet another random person as they gave him a piece of paper that announced a contest for surfing as apparently he was seen during his lifeguard shift when he was taking care of the rowdy civilian that was using fire style. He scratched his head in embarrassment for the winner of the contest would be given money as well as a upgrade to the penthouse suite in the hotel that he was staying in. That got him to sign right up fast and smooth as he gave the paper back to the person and was guided to where the surfing event was supposed to take place. He took deep breaths and wound around his arms in order to get them prepared for whatever was about to come as he got himself a surfboard, one with green leaves designed around it, as he waited for his turn to get in the water.
He watched as the other competitors were going into the water with their own surfboards as he didn't know the first thing about how points were accumulated through surfing competitions. He watched how the surfers rode the waves, the tricks that they performed, as he was genuinely impressed by the amount of balance that everyone showed off while they rode something clearly with years of experience. He was actually feeling a little nervous as he had never ridden a surfboard before and the most control he had ever had over the water was with the water itself... which gave him an idea. He took in deep breaths and studied the people that were going into the water closely to see what they did in order to gain points as he got his surfboard once his name was called and he could feel all the eyes of the beach and the competition was on him. He took in a few more deep breaths before stepping into the water with his surfboard and chakra channeled through his feet into the board.
He used his chakra to call upon the waves around him as he used them to surf him around the area as he found that he was able to keep a good control over the water in order to get as many points as possible with his balance. He leaned down and channeled his chakra into his hands as he did different tricks like handstands, flips, and board kicks. He surfed back to the shore after he was done to a nice little round of applause as he felt bad that he had cheated but he had also made certain that he didn't do a whole lot to get the highest score. He thus would get off his board and return it before making his way over to the restaurant again from earlier in order to get himself some tea to drink and unwind as the rest of the competitors went into the water to surf for their scores. The tea was fantastic at the beach restaurant as he watched the sunset get lower and lower over the horizon as the night sky was starting to fall over everything and the early and young stars were glistening in the rippling water. Again quite a beautiful sight to behold.
After all of the surfers had finished with their parts in the competition they would turn in their surfboards as the results were announced and Daiki heard that he came in third place. It wasn't bad as he still received a money prize which he happily pocketed as he drank another cup of tea before ordering a snack to go along with it. He would sit and eat and drink a bit while watching the water from his seat allowing himself to unwind and relax and actually do something aside from train during his time at the beach. It was certainly something to get used to, allowing himself to just relax and have a little break from everything, but it's all he's known for the majority of his life and every second he wasn't trying to train made him feel weaker by those lost seconds. However those days were over as ninja life, while stressful, still gave him time to relax and give himself outlets to enjoy and grow upon. Thus here he was sitting down and enjoying his drink and snacks all as he watched the last remnants of the sun sank below the horizon and caused the night sky to fully envelope everything.
After a while of relaxation he got up from his seat at the table and went back out to give the beach one final tour to enjoy it before he had to turn in for the day due to it closing. He thus simply walked along the beach, the sand sticking to the bottom of his sandals, as he looked out over the water and was happy by how serene and beautiful it all was. He decided that he would actually stick around once the lifeguards told everyone to clear out as this was actually the last day he was going to be able to spend here before he had to make his trip back to his village. Thus he made the decision to jog all the way to one end of the beach and hide in a cave in a nearby cliff face as he got a good view of the beach and the people that roamed it. He couldn't help but relax from where he was sitting as the lifeguard below called for the last hour of the beach and told everyone to get in one last swim.
He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the people laughing below before he allowed himself to fall into yet another nap. Once again his chakra would erupt within him as he was brought back into his dreamland, which looked more like nightmare land, as he scoffed and wondered why he was there once again. He hopped out of the cliff face and down to the water below, chakra channeling through his soles in order to prepare to walk along the water, before suddenly he continued to feel himself falling as the water sank before him revealing a black hole of nothingness opening up to swallow him whole. This shocked him as he fell in and kept falling until finally he landed on a solid surface, stony in nature, and he got up to his feet and looked around his surroundings in order to see if he couldn't tell where he was. This was going to prove to be a very confusing visit to the recesses of his mind as he was now in what looked to be a space of another dimension as he was standing upon what looked to be a large stone block around many other stone blocks that floated up and down all around him.
He had never seen this world before as he looked around for Hokuto but was unable to find him anywhere as he walked over to one of the rising stone blocks in order to jump up and stick to it so that he could get a better vantage point in order to look for the man of his head. After a while of looking he would hop to another stone up higher and focus all around him before he finally found the man he was looking for standing on a far away stone with his back once again turned towards Daiki. He thus would hop up off and start to rush across all the stones in his path in order to get to Hokuto as chakra continued to channel through his feet in order to catch the sides of floating stones and make his run all the more skilled. He landed atop the same stone that Hokuto was standing on and walked up to the man wondering what stupidity he had for Daiki this time Hokuto turned to face Daiki and smiled that same grin that made Daiki a little angry every time.
The old man made a hand seal as suddenly all of the stones came together and formed a large dome over and around them both as he looked over and around him in order to look at them all as he could tell that he was going to have to exert a great amount of force if he was ever going to get out of here. He took in a deep breath before looking over to Hokuto who kept a hand seal up in as, from out of the stonework, stone clones would fall from above and land around Daiki ready for another fight. Daiki shook his head at the absurdity of the repeat situation as he got down into a fighting stance and channeled chakra in through his fists and feet as he could feel the chakra strengthening his body to where he could move faster and felt stronger in order to be able to keep up and do some damage to his surroundings. He was going to have to if he had any hope of getting out of here as he could tell Hokuto was being serious with this one.
The stone clones all came at Daiki quick with their fists raised and ready to hurt Daiki all over as he got down and delivered a uppercut to one of the clones, turning it's head to dust, before turning around and punching another one in the stomach causing it to fall into pieces all along the ground. Daiki kept his guard up as he ducked a punch coming from behind to his face before sweeping his chakra enhanced leg around and kicking the legs off of the stone clone that had just tried to deliver a K.O. punch to his face. With a breath he then stomped it's head into rubble before catching the next incoming punch to his gut with his hand and moving it away in order to deliver his own gut punch that would destroy yet another clone. He looked around him as clones were constantly coming down from up top and landing in order to get their own licks against Daiki. He sighed as this was going to be a long battle and he looked over to Hokuto to see that he was continuing to control them all. He was either going to have to direct his physicality upon Hokuto or on the stones that the clones were coming from or else this was never going to end.
He thus made the crazy decision to rush through a bunch of clones with his body, his arms swinging around in punches catching all the clones in order to get to the position he was going for, as he stopped just short of one of the stone blocks and punched it with all his chakra enhanced strength that he could muster. He found that the stone was a lot harder to destroy than he initially thought it was but that was to be expected as the punch was more to sink something into the stone. He then hopped up and started walking along the wall in order to avoid the clones running in to attack as they followed him quickly up and started fighting him along the walls of the stony blocks. He took in several breaths, his hands forming seals all the while as he fought off the incoming clones attacks, before he focused his chakra downward and activated the jutsu he had implanted into the stone.
The stone would start to shift and move as wooded trunks would sprout up from around the block causing it to move out of the way and alignment of the wall. Hokuto would watch as the stone block would bulldoze over all the clones thanks to the growing column of wood as Daiki fell and ran along the growing stalk out of the hole and out of the dreamscape as he was teleported back into the beach scene that was dark and very nightmarish in nature as he was standing atop the rippling water as he looked around everything to see if Hokuto had followed him out. He didn't seem to have followed Daiki quite just yet which gave Daiki the opportunity to relax and regain some of his chakra before whatever was to come next came next. After taking deep breaths and making certain that he was ready for the next round, whatever it was, as he walked over to the purple sands of the beach and looked out to the water in order to take in something serene before he continued with this little nuisance of a training session. It was slightly annoying that he had to keep coming here but it was a good way to pass the remaining hour of the beach's time open.
He soon felt the sand shift behind him and he turned to see Hokuto standing there which caused Daiki's guard to immediately go up but Hokuto wagged his finger towards Daiki and formed another hand seal to summon forth a pair of chairs on the sandy beach with a table that had a pair of glasses with what looked to be tea inside of them. Daiki was confused by this sudden change but Hokuto simply walked over to one of the chairs and sat in it in order to help himself to one of the teas before inviting Daiki to take a seat himself. Daiki was cautious but he couldn't feel any sort of hostility nor tricks coming from Hokuto as he walked over and sat down himself yet was hesitant to take a drink of tea. Hokuto did nor said nothing to try and comfort Daiki. He merely laid back and drank the tea as the moon rose over the horizon causing even the dark water to sparkle like a mirror of stars and light. He sighed and laid back in the chair he was atop before taking his glass of tea and drinking it slowly just in case it was some kind of trap.
He took a sip and could taste that it was just ordinary and cool tea as he looked over to Hokuto who was still gazing out to the moonlit waters and Daiki could tell that there was a deeper meaning behind this interaction as he laid back into his chair himself and sipped a bit more tea while also looking across the water to the moon. It was certainly a moment of peace in an otherwise violent situation as Hokuto was proving to Daiki that even in times of war everyone needed a little bit of peace every now and then. After all everyone was simply human and the beach was a nice place to try and get together with enemies and become allies in peace mongering before becoming enemies again. Daiki took a deep sign of relief and gave another couple of sips with his tea before looking over to the chair Hokuto was in once again and finding that he had disappeared as he looked all around him to see where he had gone. It didn't take him long to see that Hokuto had left him there to relax by himself, something that Daiki didn't have a problem with, as he sat back in his chair and enjoyed the beautiful scenery that was within his mind.
As he took the time to allow himself to relax and watch the moonlight he could feel within himself that an hour had passed already and he thus was at the home stretch of the beach closing as he decided he'd wait a little bit longer before he decided to go back into the real world and onto the real beach. He sipped upon the tea for a little bit longer, the moon rising higher over the horizon and the water becoming brighter as a result, as Daiki would finish off his tea and get up in order to look around his surroundings as they were starting to dissolve. It was clear that there was the potential that Daiki might never return to this world once more but only time would be able to tell him eventually if that was actually true. He thus rushed over to the water and dove into the beautiful and dark waters as his consciousness quickly returned to his real body and he woke up as his chakra relaxed allowing him to get his bearings straight as he looked out towards the now empty and dark moonlit beach.
He got up from his seat in the cave and wiped the rocks off of himself before hopping down and landing upon the dark waters in order to walk along the surface and stretch out his body to prepare to use the beach for his exercising purposes without restraint. He first would get down low and stretch out his legs before twisting his torso and shoulders as he allowed his chakra to relax allowing him to fall into the water as he started swimming along the surface at top speed as he resembled a fish with how fast he was moving due to his powerful strokes. He was swimming smoothly along the glassy surface of the water and he couldn't help but feel he was in his element as he swam from one end of the beach to the other in a matter of a few minutes. He then got up and walked along the surface of the water once more, shaking the water out of his hair and trying to beat the water out of his ears, as he took in a deep breath and thought about what to do next.
He decided that he would do some chakra training as well as muscle training as he channeled the chakra into his hands and he got down onto his palms over the glassy surface in order to perform some push ups. With his strength he was able to crank out the push ups with expert control and great ease as well as control all of the chakra throughout his body to the points they needed to get to in order to allow him to proceed with this normally difficult task easily. While it was indeed cool to see from a regular person's standpoint it quickly became boring for Daiki as he quickly got up to his feet and decided to do something else. He didn't know exactly what he would do but he felt he would think up something as he walked along the water's surface and watched the moon as it hovered over the horizon before the water he stood upon. The water was rippling which meant that it wasn't exactly resembling a glass mirror but it was still quite a beautiful scene as he took it all in and relaxed.
He took in a deep breath and made his way over to the shore of the beach as he looked over to the cliffside nearby and thought about trying to climb up it with his bare hands. He then looked over and noticed a few large boulders laying around out of the way of the beach to the side. There were plenty of things he could do for a little bit more physical training yet he wasn't sure where to start with first as he looked over to the now closed restaurant and hopped up onto it's roof, something they wouldn't have allowed if it was open, before he sat down upon the roof and looked out over the water in order to see if it would serve as a bit of inspiration in order to get his mind set on how he wanted to proceed. It was kind of silly that he needed to think about how best to go about training in such a beautiful place like this but it was certainly a dilemma that needed to be answered for his mind had been right: he needed to train in order to get the most results out of himself.
He got up from his seat upon the roof and hopped down to the sand in order to make his way over to one of the boulders that was lying on the side of the beach. They looked large and heavy. Maybe a bit too heavy to lift with his base strength but he got the feeling he could do it with a little bit of help from his chakra. Lifting, however, wasn't what he had in mind as he decided to use the boulders as a punching post in order to toughen up his fists a bit before he would use them for rock climbing along the side of the high cliff nearby. Thus he got into a boxing stance and got to punching, his fists delivering satisfying cracking sounds as he left deep grooves in the rock, as his arms were getting a good exercise and he could feel that his training on the beach wasn't proving to be too much of a waste of time after all. He would hit the boulder a good few hundred times before stopping in order to allow his healing abilities to take care of his sore knuckles before he decided to do something else for training purposes.
After taking a while to allow his arms some rest and breathing in a bit of air to get his body ready he looked up the nearby cliff and got his fingers ready with some chakra tuned into them to start climbing. He was just about to get on that until he heard a groan coming to him from the waves and the feeling of someone in danger caused red flags to erupt within him as he looked out to see a man atop something floating weakly in the water. He would run out onto the water, his feet keeping him above the water, as he formed a few hand seals in order to bring the man closer to him before checking upon his pulse to see how weak he was. He was quite alarmed by what he was feeling as he made the water lift the man up and send him to shore quicker so that Daiki could get a better look at the poor fellow. He wound up providing the man CPR while forcing healing chakra into the palms of his hands to help jumpstart his heart and give it a boost in order to keep him alive.
He looked out at the ocean to get a better read on what the man was floating on which seemed to be what happened to be the remains of a makeshift raft which Daiki wondered if it was something that the man had made, where he had come from, and how far he had gone on said raft. After a few minutes of CPR he felt his heart beat once again at an acceptable pace as he examined the man's body and noticed that it was heavily malnourished and in need of some nutrition. He picked the man up carefully and thus rushed him off of the beach in order to carry him to the closest hospital which was actually really close to the beach so he didn't have very far to run. He turned the man over to the nurses and doctors in the E.R. before leaving to allow them to take care of the man so that he could wait outside in the waiting room in order to sit down and wait for the news.
After a while he would leave the hospital in order to go to his hotel room and put on some clothes so that he didn't hang around a hospital in clear beach ware even though the beach was closed. He quickly made his way back to the hospital in a T shirt and shorts combo before sitting down on a chair in the waiting room again. His time jogging on the beach had helped to enhance his stamina as the run from the hospital to the hotel and then back again to the hospital didn't even tire him all that much. He still needed to control his breathing, however, as he sat back in his chair and relaxed while waiting for the news from the doctors to see how the guy he had just saved was doing. He closed his eyes and rested for a little bit, his chakra remaining relaxed due to Hokuto no longer wishing to mess with him for the remainder of the night, as he passed the time by meditating and working with his inner chakra in order to grow and control it further. He took slow and deep breaths in order to help calm himself down as the time ticked on down allowing him to meditate in peace.
It wouldn't be long before he heard footsteps making their way towards him as he opened his eyes and looked to see one of the doctors making her way over to him. He would receive the news from her saying that the man had been heavily malnourished which meant that he was going to need to stay in the hospital for a while in order to get his body's muscle back and allow him to leave of his own accord. That was going to take physical therapy, plenty of food, and time as Daiki nodded and understood that there was nothing more he could do besides what he had already done which the doctors made certain to thank him for otherwise the man would've died before he got to the hospital. He thanked them for the information before making his way to the exit and leaving out the front door in order to breathe in the fresh air and feel the coolness of the gentle breeze that was blowing throughout the area. Being that they were so near the sea Daiki could still smell it as the breeze carried the smell of the ocean through the air straight to his nostrils.
He took that as his cue to finish out his day with one last jog across the road that led to the beach to his hotel as he couldn't think up a better way to end his day then by saving a life. As he jogged across the paved roads, his sandals clacking as his legs pushed him to run further than he ever had on any single day before, he took one last look out over the beach in order to ingrain the sight into his mind. Tomorrow he would have to make the trip back to his village in order to continue his ninja duties but he could tell that his memorable time on the beach were going to stick to him forever and make him all the more ready and stronger when the time came for him to act and fight for his village and leaders. He never felt stronger, in fact, as he gave one final look upon the glistening waters and picked up the pace in order to get into the hotel and into his room to take a much needed and well deserved shower.
Upon entering his room that's exactly what he did as he got into his shower right away right after putting a pot of water on the stove to boil in order to heat himself a small cup of ramen noodles. He would spend a bit of time in the shower, cleansing his body of all the salt water with tap water, as sand and dirt fell down into the drain which the hotel managers had fully renovated to handle the large amounts of sand that fell into it because they knew the majority of the people who used their hotel rooms were beachgoers. After taking his shower he came out in order to get the boiling water transferred safely into the cup of ramen before closing the top and letting it cook by itself as he washed the pot he had boiled the water in. It had overall been an excellent day and, if he had anything to say about it in order to wind up his vacation, it was going to be an excellent night as well.
TWC 11,004
Claiming mission rewards (22,000 ryo and 110 AP), Strength of a Hundred (5,000 WC), Hidden Mist Technique (1,500 WC), Advance Transformation Technique (500 WC), Water Clone (1,500 WC), Hiding Like a Mole (1,500 WC), Moving Earth Core (1,000 WC), and 220 AP (Trained).
