“Honor? What does this village know of honor… What does THIS world know about honor? We are all assassins, used in war and then tossed to the side. We were once known as the bloody mist, one of our OWN kage fed his enemies to his own dogs for fucks sake. Yet you want to use the term ‘honor’ against me. You, who come here unannounced, wave around your hammer, talking about trust and unity, when no one here even recognizes you. What proof would you even have that you worked for the kages? I refer to myself as silly and little, yet you take that as a mockery to the title of our precious village. Are you so blinded by your own self-righteousness, you ignore that I want to focus on the people of the village first. Something any shinobi would probably think is a good idea. Yet you focus on me calling myself little and silly. Perhaps I am silly even talking right now. Yet you are right on one thing, I wouldn’t need a sword to splinter a feeble branch such as you.”
His tone turned cold, rising out of his seat and walking around the beautiful burgundy desk. His eyes still staring daggers right at the women who seemingly had come out of nowhere to challenge him on his own merit as a kage, his fists curled, tightening into fists from the silent anger of her own attitude. He found this situation absolutely ridiculous, however the entrance of someone else far different then what he was expecting, carrying a bloodied up corpse of someone that was also Kirigakure ninja. Shiro focused on the corpse for a moment, confused as to why someone would fling the corpse of another Kiri ninja in front of other forces. His byakugan flexed for a moment, seeing that the Hozuki had dragged the body here and left a trail of blood… The absurd part of the situation made Shiro think for a moment… Before seemingly trying to hold in a chuckle.
“Sheesh… now we have a dead body in our mitts…. And to answer your question, I apparently am not worthy enough for the title of Mizukage… When our fellow shinobi here didn’t try and take up the mantle herself or someone else. Hopefully everything will be resolved in time though… But who is the corpse you decided to drag through here?”
Shiro asked, his eyes curious as to why he decided to drag this person all the way into the Kage’s own mansion of all things… Shiro would need to cut down on this size… Why did he have so much shit in here in the first place was beyond him.

One monologue after the other, if he didn't know any better Kyogetsu would have thought he ended up in a soap opera. The contest of who could wield the sharpest words between the three appeared to have bored the hell out of the one carrying a Tanto, causing the individual to simply turn around and leave. The young Hozuki continued to lean against one of the sides of the doorway, waiting for the others to finish before replying to their respective questions. "Someone who knows his place, unlike you". Respect and loyalty came both ways and not something a mere Chuunin could demand, especially not in front of the Mizukage.
He didn't waste no time standing straight, turning himself towards the white haired boy who claimed the title of Kage. "While everyone was too busy arguing for themselves and not the village, this sorry excuse of a gate guard thought it wise to let a potential threat simply walk inside Kirigakure, so I killed him". Kyogetsu explained how a foreign shinobi with a dangerous amount of chakra was allowed to set foot in the Mist, no one even trying to stop him from entering, let alone check with a higher up if everything checked out. "For all we know he might be planning something". The Hozuki then returned to his nonchalant position, leaning against the doorway and wondering if the three of them would finally focus on what mattered.

Ban couldn't understand why the others didn't realize what honor was. She was raised to look up to the strongest of the village, the Kage. They'd prove their power in a show of strength, like Xyxer. It was stange for Ban to hear about previous Kage's actions as a negative. Was this blasphemous? How could they disgrace the formers like this? Although it wasn't like they were dissing all the, they seemed to agree with Murata's leading. Ban remembered how strange is was when serving under Murata. The village was trying to gather allies through diplomacy first.
Although the agreement was compelling, Ban didn't want to approach it any further. She needed to cool off. The Hozuki took her hammer and helmet, placing them back on. She refused to say another word to any of the shinobi around her as she walked past them and left.
Although it felt like a loss to Ban, she knew that retreating was always acceptable if it was strategically sound. There was no way Ban could change the minds of the shinobi that were there in support. This wouldn't be the last they heard of Ban, however. Shiro was right about one thing, it seemed these new shinobi didn't know her as the previous shinobi did. That would take time.

...
Silence filled the room as Shiro spoke, the cerulean eyes moving to meet the new Kage as he cut the rabble short and reprimanded the two. While Lie Rin thought he was in the right for defending his Kage and subsequently his village, he found it to be nothing more than common rabble and to an extent he was right. The bloodlust that had been building within the Jugo slowly began to subside as he relaxed his body and returned to a normal stance," You're right. Nothing will come from this and even if someone can't see the bigger picture it doesn't help the current situation," though as he said these words a body would be thrown past him and land bloody on the floor. Turning his head to meet the one who had thrown the body into the room, he would turn his head to meet the new arrival before moving over to look at the body in more detail. While nothing was taken, he would fish the body for an ID before finding what he needed and reading over the name," Whatever his reasoning was you did what was best. No room to allow such an unknown entity in and no one has even see him,m" standing up he would place the ID on the desk and wipe the blood form his uncovered fingers. Well this had put a significant blow in his mood, but if there had been an unknown entity within the village he needed to investigate. Picking up the body he would place it on the carpet and roll it up before moving it to the side so that it didn't stain the office further. With something going on and the status of Mizukage once again filled, Lie Rin had a duty to perform. Bringing his right hand into a fist he would press it into the open palm of his left hand as he turned to head out," I'm going to rally some other shinobi so we can find out whoever it is we have in the village. Once we are done with that then maybe we can discuss the future of our village. Thank you for bringing this into our attention. By your leave Lord Mizukage," and with that he would head out to fulfill his duty.

Shiro might have been… a bit too wordy on what he was saying, potentially ignoring Ban would have probably been better, or simply asking for the Jugo to kill her if she said anything else. Hell he probably should have had Rezyx stay just so that way he could have made his intentions clear with his friend. However for the time being, this would have to do. The squelch of the dead body on the floor, with Kyogetsu Hozuki calmly explaining the situation of why the Gate guard had suddenly been put out of his misery. That was the kind of action that Shiro respected, someone that he could trust, someone that he’d ask for in the future.
“I love that kind of attitude from a shinobi of Kirigakure, what is your name?” He asked, directing his attention towards the Hozuki clan member that had brought in the dead body. A smile opening up to his lips, he felt calm, cool and collected after everything that had happened. Something of this magnitude, of this level of importance could not be unnoticed. He needed to find the person who potentially was inside of the village. If it was a missing ninja, and a particularly powerful one. He was keen to make sure his village would survive with his help. Lie Rin Law, the man who had come to his defense towards Ban had rolled up the body and, leaning it against the wall as small droplets of blood began to pour out, staining the dark oaken floor with the crimson dots of blood. He’d have to get that removed soon enough. However it seemed that everyone was ready and willing to go on about their day. With Lie Rin showing a sign of respect and taking his leave. Shiro would follow suit.
“You are all dismissed. I cannot wait for results in the near future.”
With that, he’d make his place known within the office. Plucking the dark blue hat of the Mizukage from its hanger, placing it on his head for one moment. The feelings of regret, of anger pooling in his chest for what had happened to Kirigakure. So many lives would be lost, however, now was the time to rebuild… His heart was in it for the people to survive, to fight for what they truly believed in. Now he had people that would support him. People that could help him lead when he wouldn’t know eventually how to. The title of being the newest Mizukage, after taking over for Shikami would start now. He had so much work to do. A fire rumbling in his stomach, waves of water swimming around his eyes of blue. The excitement brimming on his face at the news that everyone seemed to be in agreement that he was to be the Mizukage. He was able to accomplish it, to be the leader of the Land of Water.
“Now, it’s time for a resurgence of the Land of Water. Also, all of you have access to the villages technique should you wish.”
With that, he gently placed the hat atop the desk, leaving the room with a quick goodbye if anyone else was there. His sword strapped to his side. A showing of new confidence as he left the room, closing it off and turning off the lights before anyone else, the click of the door locking if no one else was in the room. As he’d wait for everyone else to leave before he would leave. A new wave was coming, one of shimmering blue waves across the world. His ragtag group of ninja assembled to be his own council and fighting force within the future. Everyone would be riding on this now. Of these new events to come, the world would know of the Newest Mizukage.
