These crafty wet or sticky bandits or whatever they were calling themselves these days. They'd already hit four homes in the wealthier section of the village. Everytime the story was the same the family was out of town on vacation and when morning came someone noticed an open door, a busted window, or some other irregularity and notified the police. The police wouldn't know exactly what was stolen until the families returned, but the had an idea of what the final home would be. They'd went to all the homes in the area to warn people of the burglaries and only one residence had no one answer. Their conclusion was the family had to be out of town and therefore was likely the next target. Rather than take on these wet bandits themselves they delegated the task to mercenaries, village ninja, or other better equipped folk.
Akabayashi was invited to take on the task and he went down to the station for the address of the home. At the police station he ran into the female officer who had requested a stolen Turboman for her child. She filled him in on the name of the family and all the other details they had on the bandits. There wasn't much to go on as there were no descriptions, no indication of how many they numbered, if they could use jutsu. The only thing the police knew for sure was that the McAlister home would be robbed at some point this week.
The Terumi traveled to the home wondering how these bandits knew the families they robbed were out of town. Did they know the owners and were told by them of the vacation, had they staked the place out, or had they knocked on every door like the police had and when someone answered they just marked them off of the do not rob list. The thefts happened at night so he still had a bit of time before he was needed at the wealthy home of the McAlister's. He would talk to the neighbors first and ask them of any suspicious activity they may have seen over the past few days along with any other people put on the task of bagging these bandits.
Approaching the first home the man would knock and what seemed to be a butler would answer. The Nova would explain the situation and would ask if anyone had knocked on the door besides him within the last couple days or if he'd seen anything odd. He said he'd seen nothing odd and that besides Akabayashi and police only a group of Winter Scouts and a traveling salesman had knocked, but they had both been turned away by the butler as the owner would have no interest in what they were selling. Akabayashi thanked the man and left to go to the next home if the other home had these same visitors then those could be the culprits using these sales as a means to guage if the residents were home. The next knock was answered by the owner he seemed busy as his hair was untidy and his shirt partially tucked. He was asked about recent visitor's and he said the mailman and a traveling salesman, but no scouts. The cookie swindlers seemed to be in the clear, but perhaps he hadn't seen them and someone else answered the door. He wouldn't cross them out yet from the list and would add one. The mailman was now on the list as maybe when he noticed mail pile up he would know the family wasn't home.
The doctor would head to the home he was supposed to keep burglar free and as he expected the mailbox had many letters and news papers all over the porch. With evidence of no one being home like this anyone could have been a suspect. He would cross out all of the names on his list as if the other porches were similar he was back to square one. He would look over to his companions. "Did any of you get any leads? I got nothing questioning people about seeing strange activity or knocking on their doors. I thought I had something, but its a dead end. With all these newspapers everywhere it could be anyone that knows who is out of town. We'll probably have to wait and see who shows up, unless anyone has anything we can use to track the burglars down." If anyone had a lead he would listen maybe they could have used it, but it was getting close to nightfall and hopefully the burglars would be there shortly. If they weren't perhaps they could follow the lead the next day.
The doctor waited in the kitchen for signs of burglars and after a few hours into the night it happened. It came from upstairs the sound of breaking glass this certainly wasn't Santa Claus. The nova would sneak upstairs and hear two men talking about how putting tape on his hands made him the sticky bandit. The other called him sick and started throwing items into a bag. One was tall with brown straight hair that looked like he'd been electrocuted recently, the other was shorter with a bald patch right in the middle of his head. Akabayashi did not wish to use jutsu that would break anything in the home so he summoned wood clones and sent them to confront the thieves. One immediately jumped out of the window and slid down a rope and into the snow below. "One just jumped out of the window!" The doctor would yell as his clones attempted to wrestle the bald one. Somehow he escaped their grip by letting them shred his jacket he ran away the clones would give chase.
Once someone caught both thieves or his clones caught the perpetrators they would be taken to the police station. The police of the village could interrogate them to find out where their stolen items were and how they knew these families had been on vacation. Hopefully, everything stolen would be returned and all these folks would only have to indentify what items stolen were theirs.

People going around and stealing from homes, it sounded a lot like this was some kind of organization at this point. People running around while people were out from the holidays only to find that their homes had been ransacked for any and all types of valuables from inside of their small little homes. The bite of wind gnawing at his fingertips when he was striding along the rich western side of the snow village, as there were at least a few different rich areas within that of the village hidden within the snow. Blue eyes scanning along the roadside as he was suddenly approached by a few officers nearby, their blue flak jackets, along with a small badge of frost along their arms had the Kirigakure ninja worried that he was being arrested for stealing all of those toys from beforehand. It’d certainly be a similar case if he was actually the one responsible for the incident at hand. However the police had something much different to offer the white haired Hyuga at this time of night. Instead mentioning to the young adult that there was a problem that they needed to get fixed quickly, along with the handsome amount of money he could acquire through helping said officers with their request. Shiro’s hand palmed his jaw, contemplating the thought for a moment only to give a smug grin before accepting the offer from the officers. Hopeful that this wouldn’t be too big of a deal, his blade attached to his hip yet hidden somewhat, or more like most people wouldn’t notice it due to his mostly casual clothing, hiding the silky fabric of the ronin attire he had gotten as a gift before arriving towards the lands of Snow and Ice. Home to the Yuki probably, as there must have been other Yuki clan members here, hell Crom was the one that he had believed to be a Yuki clan member due to his similar color of hair to his own. And while Shiro had not taken up the bloodlines strength in terms of Ninjutsu, he had focused primarily on the Hyuga aspects of his blood, refining his body and mind to take on any kind of threat, just what would a couple of crooks be to the boy who would one day become the Mizukage.
“Alright, I accept the offer then, the address now boys, can’t leave me hanging out for the entire day while they’re a group of criminals lurking about trying to rob those who… Worked hard for their homes and status.”
He did wonder if the people who were being robbed had ever worked in a day in their lives, if they had known the ways of battle at all.His sword had already tasted the blood of his enemies beforehand, yet they were people asking for a fight… Burglary was a crime that even in Kirigakure could get you killed depending on who you did it to. Yet he didn’t want to impose his own land’s laws on Yukigakure. The place was simply too peaceful for him to cause any kind of major trouble within this village, especially with the looming threats and strength that was prevalent around him at this time. Akaboshi Terumi… such a terrifying presence within this village, a man who could push and pull living people without so much as a second thought. His chakra exuded strength, it felt like he had to sift through blood when trying to read just what that eye even was in his socket. The one that had purple rings wrapped around it when it activated. A terrifying Dojutsu indeed, one that seemed even stronger then both the Sharingan and the Byakugan. Such strength was fitting of an individual who had hailed from the lands of Hoshigakure. They seemed to be people who exude strength in spades, and that Hikari… there was something off about her, something that made him weary of her… He felt strange while being near the women, a mysterious sort of gut feeling while he was by her that he didn’t like, it was one of the only things that he felt had made him shudder at the thought of dealing with this current moment. Yet for now though, he felt it was best to at least finally make his way towards the address in question. His hand resting upon the handle of his blade as he walked along the streets, most people seemed to have been returning towards their homes, a police officer was stationed right near the house where he was supposed to go in and defend it from the burglars. The house was absolutely stunning, especially in comparison to where he was currently staying. The entire Motel could maybe be comparable to fucking HALF of that god damn house. Shiro had never seen such wealth unless it was from the Kage’s own manner, which even he hated to see something that big be used… It made it all the more begrudging when he had to walk in there to defend the home from certain intruders that were going to look for valuables while this specific family was gone and away from their own home. He was given the keys to the house, the police officer graciously gifting it to him before Shiro vanished from the officers sight. Instead heading straight to the door in order, sliding the key into one of several locks on the house, how the hell were the bandits even able to get into the other ones if all of them were this kind of secure.
Perhaps the family knew ahead of time? Yet that sounded almost preposterous, it’d take days for someone to install all of these fancy locks and have separate keys for each one… Yet he also learned that the family didn’t lock all of the locks, only the first three ones were locked.. Which could explain how they would be able to get in and out of the house at all without it taking twenty minutes. At least the lockes were all color coded, which certainly helped the Genin in taking care of the door, his smile not fading for a moment as he could only smile, keeping himself happy with the thoughts of training with Youai with his own blade, she was always at least fun to talk to and discuss on how to become better, although he was already gaining on her in terms of overall skill and talent… Hell he knew he was more talented than her, and she’d be realizing that soon after their next spar in the future. His eyes trailing along the magnificent oak floorboards, the cleanliness of each step he took, it made him take off his own boots before smudging up the carpet even more. His socks pressed slowly with each step he took… It felt… So nice to have a home that didn’t make him have to think about each step that he walked. His own home had begun to decay as the years went by, if there was one thing that he knew that he was at least not the best at, it was doing home maintenance for himself and for others, he could keep on nailing down new and newer planks of wood after each time his leg breaks down a rotten board and goes down to the lower level. He hated that this was the life of people who didn’t seem to have worked hard for what they had gotten, maybe it was right for those burglars to do what they had to do. But he still had a job to do, doesn’t mean he can’t have some kind of fun with it. The pictures along the walls, it showed a couple in a few of them, then it showed three whole children. Their clothing looked muted, they didn’t seem to wear much jewelry when they were younger and even having those kids… Yet it reminded him too much of his own mother to see this woman happy to be holding her child. He had turned his back from the rest of the pictures and painting, instead walking along the near endless hallways, activating those milky white eyes to keep track of the entire house. That 100 meter distance of vision allowed him to see the entire house. His mind was clouded by those thoughts of his mother, and how she could have made them both have a good life, away from his fathers ridicule and his own when she had contradicted that thing… His mother died of a disease that had appeared out of nowhere… It had her begin to shrivel up.. Her body thinned out as she began to cough up blood when coming back from a mission… Most had assumed that it was poison, yet upon an inspection with the doctors and medical professionals that they could even afford from the village… instead it was something far worse… She had a tumor within her body, yet they had not diagnosed it before it was too late… she had already gone away… and he couldn’t do much about it. Shiro’s eyes deactivated when thinking about his mother… Before suddenly a loud crash echoed throughout the house.

The sudden shattering of the window immediately had Shiro reactivate his own Baykugan. Allowing him to see that this was a group effort, at least four people, all of which having Chakra cleanly running throughout their own bodies was something that had the young man a bit worried. Especially since he could tell that a few of them weren’t gonna go down without somewhat of a fight. Pale eyes shifting around the place to see if any of them went at it from above, to which thankfully they did not. Shiro’s mind was racing while running out of the maze-like hallway, having the advantage of surprise on his own side, the clattering of footsteps was something that hid his own position and kept him from being found out too fast. He had to think carefully about his current situation. These guys certainly wouldn’t mind splattering his brains out across the floor if they were to get the chance. Yet the thought excited him, that now he was inside of an A-Rank mission, going at it alone as simply a Genin, not even a particularly strong genin, yet a genin nonetheless. It made him think about his training with Youai, she’d have his head on a platter if he wouldn’t be able to defeat these guys. These guys, no matter their own reasoning, had to be taken out for the completion and sake of the mission. His hand clasped around the handle of his blade. Ready to use it against the first crook that was coming right into view with his byakugan that he was able to find. The man didn’t even know what hit him when suddenly an open palmed strike was aimed right at his side while he was darting around the corner. The man crashed into the wall, making a slight dent into the clean white walls that once glistened around the house. His other hand was still clasping his blade before dashing around the hallways yet again, there were at least four others within the building, one of which had a long scar running along his neck, not only that, he had someone else who mainly spoke to him through hand signals instead of merely talking… The man must have been mute then… Judging by how he seemed to also be the one who was stationary, perhaps he was the leader of these sticky bandits.
His mind almost escaped him for a moment, along with the fact that he was running right towards another one of the burglars about to snatch a bot off of the table. Resulting in the shinobi pulling out a Shuriken from his own pouch, aiming it to land at the man's shoulder, the same one he was using to go and grab the vase. The sudden thunk of metal against bone, with Shiro rolling forwards and catching the vase with one hand, using the other to slam his fist directly into the man's stomach. Doubling over the much larger individual, however, it seemed that one of them had known that he was taking them out, as the stomping of footsteps finally stopped around the house. A few of the people’s own belongings were already taken. Large black bags that seemed to already have some stuff in them laid at the other three’s feet around the house. Shiro wore his smile now fully, his blade finally being drawn from the scabbard, readying himself to use more aggressive force if possible. A wooden blade for stuff like this wouldn’t be so bad, it’d make actually beating the shit out of them all the much easier without having to worry about killing them.
He had no qualms with killing them, however the police wanted them alive to bring in all of that juicy information. Even if one of them was a younger sort, he wouldn’t care, not anymore at this point. They were thieves, and he had to accept that. That they probably had done this to lower income families and now we're working their own way up to the very top of the food chain, they had this shit out like clockwork, and especially in a village like this, it made him wonder how thieves could potentially be used. They were certainly people that could sneak in undetected. He’d have to hopefully talk about it with their kage if he would get off of his ass and actually show himself. That damn Shikami… He barely even showed himself and barely even helped the village. The young genin even wondered if he had actually done anything to acquire that position of Mizukage. That anger festered, boiling inside as with a crazed smile, he made his way towards his next target. Not even planning on allowing him a moment to get his bearings before Shiro stabbed downwards, aiming for the right foot of the man, however the thief was faster than expected. His leg lifting up before slamming down on Shiro’s blade. The man pulled back his entire arm. Attempting to smash his fist directly into Shiro’s own head, however, the young genin was faster. The palm of his hand slamming directly into the man's own chin and sending him flying upwards. For something known as the gentle fist, it surely didn’t have to be gentle in order to harm you. His other hand pulled out his blade when it had stabbed the ground from the guy placing his full weight on it. Luckily for the Genin it didn’t break, it truly was a sword of fine craftsmanship. Shiro running along the house in order to track down the last two with his incredible byakugan’s own range and prowess, however it seemed that the mute individual knew that someone was watching them, as a result, or an attempt to get Shiro to not be able to see them, he lit up a smoke bomb right as Shiro was rounding the corner to spot them. His field of vision is not being blocked much by the Smoke itself. As the Byakugan can directly see the chakra system, thus still leaving the last two in his sights. However both of them moved. Their speed was rather impressive for those that didn’t have full control or even an inkling about actual chakra control. However Shiro wasn’t here to play games for right now, instead he went full force immediately. His eyes tracking the one to his left, while the muted man hung back slightly, Shiro used this opportunity to go for the man who was not mute, he had a rather clean face, certainly someone who was young and new to this whole thing. Yet his speed was something that Shiro could find commendable for a moment. But his sword had tasted blood when it had met with the arm of the young man. Stabbing right through the muscle as Shiro pinned him to the ground. He’d knock the man out with a clean punch to the face. Before leaving his blade as the muted man swung right for the boy's head… However the man showed his true colors when he pulled the blade out of the young man's arm… Even though they were his enemies, it was a downright despicable move, especially given that the guy might bleed out because of it. Shiro took no chances, his whole life was gonna be dependant on what he did next, a small Kunai in his hands suddenly was infused with chakra, allowing him to fully use the ability of flying swallow. He’d give the man one last chance to put down the sword, the smoke enveloping both of their own vision before both rushed forwards. Shiro however… did not let the man have a chance to even swing the blade before the Kunai was stuck in his stomach. Keeping the blade there as he snatched back up his Katana, swishing and flicking the blood off of it completely, knowing that he had made a bit of a mess now… only a small smile was what was left.
“Hopefully they can just clean this up… I did a good job with defending the house… Now to notify the police on you assholes.”
Within a few moments the police had arrived, Shiro sitting down, having at least tried and cleaned up the blood somewhat off of the ground… of course he didn’t do the best job, however an effort was made of him to do so. Now he could finally relax for a moment….
