Tenshi Uchiha awoke from a very comfortable slumber early in the morning, the Genin feeling more refreshed than usual today. He had another day full of missions ahead of him and he was looking forward to both of them. Tenshi was tasked with an important mission to deliver snacks and water to the homeless in the village. This was an important mission as the people in question could sometimes be potential informants for the village, and it was essential to keep them on the village's good side.
Tenshi prepared himself for the mission by donning his usual black and red Shinobi gear. His solid black boots adding an extra couple of inches to his height, which he definitely did not mind. and made his way to the less privileged section of the village.
He stopped along the way to collect a large bag of supplies. The bag contained food, water and other supplies such as blankets. It was confusing for him to think that there were people in the village who needed such assistance, he had never seen this issue in the Uchiha District.
It was further down south than where he would usually work, his eyes went wide with shock as witnessed an entirely different village. As he walked through the narrow alleys, he could see the poverty and suffering of the people living there. He felt a sense of sadness and empathy for them, feelings that washed all over him. There were people everywhere here, but unlike his home, they were not smiling. There was no sound of joy and laughter, no music being played, no life.
Tenshi spotted and approached a group of homeless people, he introduced himself and explained the purpose of his visit. He handed out snacks and water to each person and took the time to talk to them. He listened to their stories and struggles and offered words of encouragement. Although it was a new and somewhat confronting experience for him, Tenshi felt good about being able to assist these people in whatever way he could.
Tenshi noticed that some of the homeless people were hesitant to accept the snacks and water. He realized that they might be suspicious of him and his intentions. He assured them that he was there to help and that the village cared about their well-being. The children warmed up to him quickly, however, the adults took far longer. Many of them choosing not to talk to him at all, simply accepting his supplies with a quick nod.
As Tenshi continued to deliver snacks and water, he noticed that some of the homeless people were far more grateful for his help. They thanked him and expressed their appreciation for his kindness. They would also ask him to sit with them and listen to their stories, to which he agreed. Tenshi felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that he was making a positive difference in their lives.
After delivering all the supplies he had been given, Tenshi made his way back to the village. He said his farewells to those who were willing to speak to him along the way. He felt proud of himself for completing the mission and helping the more disadvantaged people of the village.
Tenshi realized that the mission had given him a new perspective on life. He realized that the village had many vulnerable people who needed help and support. He made a promise to himself that he would continue to help those in need and make a positive impact on their lives.

A Feast of Kings
After completing his report after his previous mission with the homeless people of the village, Tenshi prepared himself for his next mission. By preparation, there was no need for stretches or practice. No, he needed to prepare mentally. He was going to an Akimichi Clan feast, and there was no doubt in his mind that he would need to consume a lot of food to get through this experience.
All of this aside, Tenshi was excited to attend the feast, as it was a rare opportunity to experience the culture and traditions of the Akimichi clan. He absolutely intended to pig out and eat as much food as possible, there was bound to be a ridiculous amount of meat at this event. However, he knew that his job was not just to enjoy the feast, but to help clean up the mess that would be made afterwards. Tenshi sighed at the thought of having to clean up after such an occasion.
He quickly began walking over to the Akimichi District, almost breaking out into a run out of pure excitement. He truly could not wait for this, but had to compose himself. He did not want to become the butt of some joke as an outsider for the first time.
As Tenshi arrived at the feast, he was greeted by a large male Akimichi clan member who welcomed him with a hearty laugh and open arms. “GREETINGS! Judging by your outfit and demeanour, you must be Tenshi Uchiha! Well well well, a high and mighty Uchiha is joining one of our feasts? The stars must be aligning and I must be going senile! My name is Churro, it’s a mighty fine pleasure to meet ya!” Tenshi laughed at the interaction, this mountain of a man was potentially the most jolly person he had ever meet, and did a great job of making him feel comfortable from the get go.
Churro led him into a large outdoor courtyard with no roof, the weather was just perfect, the sun was out and shining today. He was amazed by the grandeur of the feast, with tables filled with all kinds of delicious food and drinks. The aroma of the food filled the air, making Tenshi's mouth water in anticipation. The area was already filling up fast, with many people flooding in and seating themselves before the food arrived. Churro had two seats saved for him and Tenshi at one of the large tables.
As the feast began, Tenshi was amazed by the hospitality of the Akimichi clan. They ensured that everyone was well-fed and enjoyed the food to their heart's content. Tenshi was particularly impressed by the unique dishes that were served, which he rarely got to eat before. This was mostly due to his lack of funds as a pseudo-orphan living in a small apartment. Churro was kind enough to treat Tenshi as one of his own, introducing him to everyone as “The Uchiha Boy who is going to clean this mess up!” to whoever would listen.
As the feast continued, Tenshi enjoyed the company of Churro and the many Akimichi clan members in his vicinity. He would also chat to the other guests who were attending the feast as esteemed friends. He listened to their stories and shared his own experiences, learning more about their culture and traditions. He told overinflated stories about his many battles as a Shinobi, although they were definitely not as bad as the ones coming out of Churro’s mouth. He definitely had a flair for the dramatic, never let the truth get in the way of a good story clearly.
This went on for over an hour, an hour of stuffing his face and talking aloud. The addition of music and dancing made the event even more enjoyable, watching Churro dance was especially hilarious. However, as the feast started to wind down, Tenshi remembered his duty to help clean up the mess that would be made. Looking around, his heart sank at the sheer volume of trash that he saw.
People began to file out as the music and dancing ceased. A loud round of applause ruptured through the courtyard as everyone was grateful for their incredible meal. He then walked back to Churro and sadly offered his help to the Akimichi clan member, who was both smug and grateful for his assistance. ”My boy, this is going to be a big one to clean up, but it’s gotta be done ain’t it?” With a loud chuckle, he led Tenshi to the kitchen and instructed him on what to wash.
The mess was indeed massive, with piles of food scraps, plates, and cups scattered around the tables. But Tenshi did not shy away from the task. He rolled up his sleeves and started cleaning up the mess with the other Akimichi workers who had stayed behind after the feast. Tenshi realised that the cleaning up of the mess was not just a job, but a way of showing respect and gratitude towards the clan who had been so kind as to host him.
Over the course of the next hour, he worked hard, ensuring that the mess was cleaned up thoroughly and efficiently. This dragged far longer than he had expected though, every time he thought he was done, another pile of dishes would be brought back to wash.
Finally, Tenshi finished cleaning up the mess, he felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that he had fulfilled his duty. Everyone who had been involved with the cleaning process stayed back to celebrate a job well done with a round of tea and cards. This gave him some more time with Churro and the others to sit and talk, he had grown extremely fond of the Akimichi clan.
Noticing the time, Tenshi knew it was time to go home and wash up. He thanked the Akimichi clan members for inviting him to the feast and for allowing him to experience their culture and traditions. Churro gave him an especially large hug, patting him on the back far more than was necessary, but Tenshi just laughed it off.
Tenshi thought to himself as he walked back hom. The feast had taught him a valuable lesson about respect and hospitality. He was a stranger who had been brought in and welcomed by a completely random group of people. Yet he never once felt as if he did not belong there, a large smile crept across his face. The smile was quickly wiped away as his stomach rumbled aggressively. Ok maybe I should get home as quickly as possible…
