As expected, the Hokage had to decline his offer. "There's always tomorrow" Ichigo replied philosophically, aware the future would hold more opportunities for the two of them to meet again. He accepted the parchment paper before saying goodbye, the Raikage similar to Aokidanza having been gone from the village too long and almost growing impatient to return. Once the Konohagakure delegation disappeared without much of a trace it was time for the Kumogakure shinobi to turn around and head back to the village. "Come, there is much to discuss and more to be done". The journey was long but worth it in the end.

Sad that the celebration couldn't continue any further than this, there was still at least clarity in the reasoning as to why. Which was understandable to say the least, but regardless. Hiroki would watch the two kage exchange their goodbyes, with the Leaf's handing the Cloud's a piece of parchment, then the Konoha nin would shortly after gather before teleporting away. Rather flashily at that too, but going out with a big exit was practically necessary. Roki definitely was of the similar mind in liking the flashy side of things. Once they were gone within an instant, the Raiju's attention would turn to Ichigo, and walk back towards the village with him and Mukuro.

So they would not be staying. What a bummer. The Doctor simply shrugged and knew one of these days he would be able to talk to the guardians of his partner, but for now...there was business to tend to. He would watch as they disappeared in a brilliant flash though a smile appeared on his face as he chuckled," Gotta get my hands on that at some point if our new friends are willing," though he knew the answer to that already. As Ichigo started to head back to the village he would wait until his Kage passed before turning on his heels and walking back to the village with the others. Only time would tell what would happen in the future but he was...interested in the results.
