Megami Kuoga trudges along the muddy path to Konoha. At least the storm was subsiding at this point! She had told Akki Senju, her sister, to go ahead and head to Konoha without her and she would catch up to her as soon as possible. It's been a little longer than Megami had intended to be gone due to this lovely storm. Since it was just sprinkling at the moment, Megami lowered the hood of her cloak. In front of her, about maybe a couple of yards away, were the gates of Konoha!
"It's definitely been a few years." She whispered to herself. She smiled as some of the memories flooded back. Yeah hers were mostly good memories, a few were bad, but most were good!

Approaching the gates she began to feel a little anxious, considering her status and such she wasn't quite sure where she would fall in terms of status and rank! She was a genin, yes and she was originally from Konoha. But what was she now that Volcano had been destroyed? Was she missing? A wanderer? Or now considered a Konoha ninja? And was her sister okay? She hadn't been home since Jason Senju and Yen were in charge.

Sighing, she walked up to the gates to enter Konoha. "This is definitely going to be interesting." She said entering the gates, not to sure what to really expect! Hopefully this would go smoothly and without any problems.

Tenshi had been assigned to guard duty on that day, there were several Shinobi at the entrance keeping an eye on the incoming people. They would all be required to line up and face questioning without discrimination. Tenshi had his three tomoe Sharingan active as he patrolled up and down the village entrance, keeping a lookout as he did so. The storm had been raging earlier that day, to his dismay, but thankfully it had been clearing up recently.

With his advanced visual prowess, Tenshi spotted a woman walking up towards him, her hood pulled down and revealing her beautiful face. Tenshi raised an eyebrow as he looked at her, but not because of her appearance. It was the fact that his Sharingan allowed him to see the Chakra within her. There was no mistaking it, she was clearly a Shinobi of some kind, but did not appear to be one that he recognised.

He would deactivate his Sharingan well before she would be able to see him with it and then casually move into her path as she reached the gates. "Greetings traveller, welcome to Konohagakure. Please state your full name, occupation, where you hail from and your reasons for visiting." It was the same line that he had used for everyone he had inspected today, saying it was like clockwork for Tenshi at this point. If the woman listened, she would hear other guards around him using the same line, word for word.

Why did his words annoy Megami? The poor guy is required to say such things and even Megami knew this from her days guarding the gates of Volcano. And yet she was annoyed. Sighing she smiled at the young man.
"Hi, yes, I'm Megami Kuoga, I'm just returning to Konoha, my home sweet home." She laughed nervously as she attempted to rush by him to get into Konoha. It had been a few long years? Yen or Jason were in charge when she left for Volcano.
Was her lab up and running? She had asked Akki to go ahead of her, she knew Akki could get the lab up and running without any issue. Megami had a ton of work to do! She had to locate the team and recreate lost items from Volcano which should be rather easy to do. Hopefully this encounter at the gates would go quickly!
"I'm sure if you have any questions you could easily find me!" She smiled reassuringly. She realized she had never seen this youngan before. He was probably in the academy while she was being trained by Primrose Uchiha. Most kids went to the Academy but not Megami or Akki, they had special training! Ah yes, memory lane lie ahead in Konoha.

Whoever this Megami was, she was quite eager to rush past him and avoid the simple check in process, which Tenshi found quite odd. She was also nervous for some reason, but Tenshi had no idea why, he was simply following his Guard Duty procedures. He would move slightly so that he remained between her and the village while continuing to speak casually.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Megami Kuoga and I am glad to see that you are returning to Konoha. I still need to know your current or most recent occupation and where you are coming from." Tenshi just wanted this to be over so he could go about his day, but he also knew that he would receive a lashing from his superiors if they found out that he did not complete his job properly.

Megami then mentioned that he would be able to easily find her if he needed to. "Oh I see, is there anyone that you will be staying with while you are here?" He knew that what he was doing was frustrating her, but he simply wanted to make sure he was being efficient in his work. If Megami had been the first person he had questioned today, Tenshi likely would have let her in by now, but after the dealing with many others who would try to sweet talk, intimidate or even bribe him into stepping aside, he was in no mood to play around.

"Megami, please answer my remaining questions so we can finish this off smoothly and everybody can be happy. Occupation. Traveling from. Staying with." Tenshi kept his composure in check when he spoke, although he was running out of patience.

Why not just stop and stare for a minute, he was pretty easy on the eyes? Megami stopped and turned to face the man speaking to her.
"My apologies sir. I am Megami Kuoga, unfortunately my story is pretty long, but I assure you I am from Konoha, born here and raised a few years in the orphanage then adopted with my sister Akki Senju."She said with a slight smile. "I…just have been on a long journey and I am returning home. I assure you, I am heading home and not a bother to anyone. I am quite busy so I must go." Megami was telling a half truth but hoped the guy would buy it. Granted Megami had been kidnapped, unlike the others she chose to stay missing, returned to Konoha only to leave again of her own choice. Missing nin yes, missing by choice, another yes. Even though she was a resident of Volcano village, she had been her frenemy Sephora's partner in crime. Maybe Jason Senju wiped her record clean after she had returned last time? Or did Yen keep her paperwork from the lab? Wait a minute she better look at this guy before he discovers she's hiding something!
"I'll be on my way now!" She smiled and waved and attempted to blend into the oncoming crowd. Then she stopped as she realized, she couldn't do this anymore. Loyal? Very, but she couldn't run anymore. She wasn't Sephora, she was the exact opposite of her frenemy. "I can't do this anymore…the point of me trying to change…coming home was to….start over ..and if it means…" she turned to face the man with tears in her eyes. "My name is Megami Kuoga, I am a missing nin…from Konoha…" Megami held her hands up. "I am unarmed…I give up…I can't run anymore! I can't live like this." She said with tears running down her cheeks at this point.

Tenshi raised an eyebrow at Megami revealing the name of her sister. He had met Akki in an abandoned building only a few nights prior. Come to think of it, she had mentioned a sister named Megami that night, it appeared that the dots were beginning to link up. He said nothing though as the woman continued to speak, he continued to analyse her face as she did so, looking for any sign of an attempt at deception.

She even appeared to be lost in thought at one point, but snapped out of it and then made the foolish mistake of attempting to casually walk away from him, blending in with the crowd. Tenshi followed her, remaining no further than a mere meter behind as she did so. When she suddenly had a change of heart and stopped moving and turned around, she would be staring directly into the three tomoe Sharingan now presently activated in Tenshi's eyes.

She had tears in her eyes, but Tenshi was not fazed by this. She had clearly been lying to him from the start and  he was fed up. His concerns were proven to be correct when Megami decided to admit that she was in fact a Missing Nin. He drew his Tanto as soon as the words left her lips, keeping the blade between them, pointed directly at her heart. His face serious and deadly.

"I see. In that case, for your previous crime of desertion against Konohagakure, Megami Kuoga, I am placing you under arrest. You are making the correct decision by coming clean about this. I am going to escort you to our prison facility for questioning." By this point, many of the villagers, visitors and Shinobi alike had begun staring at the situation, intrigued by the dramatic events that transpired.

"If you continue to cooperate with me and the Shinobi who questions you, no harm will come to you. If not, then I will not guarantee your wellbeing. I will give you one piece of advice: No more lies, there are those in the village with less patience than myself. Now come with me."

If Megami complied with his instructions, Tenshi would walk behind her into the village with his blade still drawn, now pointed at her back. He would direct her as they walked, to ensure they made their way to the Konoha Prison Facility.

Megami stared at the weapon pointed at her. Despite the glares from people and the fear in her body, she did not dare move until he instructed her to do so. This day had been coming for a long time. It had to happen and even she knew it. She took a deep breath and stopped the tears from falling. This wasn't her first time being interrogated, as a matter of fact she had been there before! But last time, Jason and Yen had been the ones interrogating her! However, she wasn't arrested before.
Megami nodded her head to acknowledge his words and went with him as instructed. She pretended not to know where they were going so they wouldn't know she had done this before.

The voice carried upon the winds like a trumpet claiming all eyes on him as he walked forward, straightening the cuff links of his attire. The soft clanking of his katana, Tomoe Gozen was the only sound that could be heard as the oni stepped forward. The male had only been back from his excursion with the Hokage for a while and his paperwork had piled, but when he had received word of what had been going on near the gates he was quick to respond. Traveling forward toward the gates had been none other than the Police Chief of Konoha himself, the dark skinned oni known as Ishimaru. Wearing the attire that was the pride and joy of the police force, he would walk forward followed by two other individuals before stopping to 3 meters to Tenshi's right, as the electric purple eyes stared clean through Megami," If this one is to be escorted to the jail it will be by myself. Hmm.. A deserter and a child at that," he would make a nodding motion to the other two which would obtain the most recent admission log at the gates and the other would set within the hands of Tenshi a small bag.

Iscarot on the other hand would step forward and without a wasted breathe clank a pair of cold iron cuffs on the wrists of the female," I expect you to be on your best behavior less you want your head to be removed from your shoulders. Move it," the tone had been stern, authoritative even. Looking over to Tenshi he would use his left index finger to point at the bag that would have been given to him," Lord Hokage rewards those that do for the better of the village. Keep it up," and with that he would head off toward the prison where he would begin the interrogation of the deserter.
